My server was super friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The Thursday lunch special, broccoli lasagna with Alfredo, was rich, filling, and absolutely delicious. Even as a lunch portion, it was more than enough. The side salad came with a fantastic house-made creamy Italian dressing, and the basket of garlic bread was the perfect touch. 🏆 Highlight: Delicious food with generous portions and warm, attentive service. 📍 Would I Return? Absolutely, next time I’m trying the pizza, which looked amazing.

Joseph's Pizza on Main is incredible! From top-notch service by Christina, to the cutest little manager, Julie, they will be seeing my face A LOT more often!! The Pepperoni and Mozz roll was literally mouthwatering, I had to waddle out of there!! Don't hesitate! Make this your new go-to spot! (Also the Sangria was delicious!!)

Tuesdays are the day to go, especially if you have kids. Let them make their own pizzas. Have some fun. Enjoy the amazing food! It's always a good time here.

Wings and Italian Sausage apps were really good. The Italian sub was delicious. They homemade bread was some of the best I’ve had. Crispy crust but super soft inside.

Very clean and super friendly. Our server checked on us frequently, but not overly so. As soon as customers left, the tables were cleaned. The atmosphere was great and so was the food. It took a while to get our pizza, but it was good. We also got the garlic knots, but it was a little more like garlic bread.

I recently had pizza from Joseph's, and it was absolutely amazing! I ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza to go, and I loved both. I also tried the shrimp scampi, but what truly fascinated me was the history of the building itself—it’s the oldest pizza store in Jacksonville, Florida. Interestingly, I share a part of that history, as I own the building at 11th and Liberty, which was the Marita Bread Union building. Inside, there’s a beautiful mural of Marita Bread that adds to the charm. I almost forgot to mention that I also love their Italian wedding soup and garlic bread. This is so exciting!

I totally enjoyed the food, the service was outstanding. The linguine with pesto is probably one of the best pestos I've had in years. Very happy. The garlic bread that they serve with the meals very good. The lasagna was good but I'm very very particular about my red sauce. What's good? Just not my cup of tea. I'm glad that I had to pesto. Everybody has their own taste, buds and opinions. Overall definitely a very beautiful restaurant. Glad I came in. 🙏🏽🙌🏽 I was in town visiting my mama. Had a great lunch today for the first time. The spinach calzone was yummy very Greek flavor which I like. Garlic knots are delicious will be back for more

Depending on what day you go on the food changes from bad to worse Can not get my order right even after describing to a to tee They say no problem This place is going down hill

Hubby and I were looking for a new pizza spot for Friday night date night. Joseph's was close by and a Jacksonville staple so we headed over to give them a try. They were fairly busy but we were seated right away. We ordered an x-large pepperoni pizza. I thought it was good just not my favorite. The crust tasted good and had a good crisp but it was a bit thick for my liking. The sauce, cheese and pepperoni were all good. The service was great as was the ambience. I would return and try something different next time.

We had the grilled chicken sandwich and a slice of pepperoni pizza. They were delicious! I've decided I prefer my pizza with little to no tomato sauce. My friend had the grilled chicken sandwich and she said it was cheesy good. (Coming from a picky eater that's great) How server was great, she was able to answer our quest and make suggestions that helped in our choice. I ended up buying the spinach feta roll to go. It just looked so good and she said it would do well reheated. The restaurant itself is very easy and seating isn't crowded. They have tables for 2 or more without issue. We arrived just after they opened and by the time we left it was full of guest. It has been a while since I went to Joseph's, it lived up to the deliciousness I remembered.

After my mother's unveiling today, we came here today in honor of my parents who shared their first meal as husband and wife here 63 years ago. My parents died 12 months apart to the month and today was a meal to celebrate and honor them. The Manager was PHENOMENAL!!! Her commitment to Joseph's was apparent and her desire to provide outstanding customer service was evident by actions!! The chicken was out of this world! Portions huge and so flavorful! Worth the drive! Thank you Joseph's for honoring my parents 63rd anniversary so well!!

Nice place with a neat blend of homey and modern. I especially enjoyed sitting in the picture window bench seats and watching humanity pass by on Main Street. I had the Friday lunch special of baked ziti and soup (Italian wedding for me). DH had an eggplant parmigiana. Both were delicious. Our server, Teresa was super sweet and attentive. We wanted for nothing during our visit. Parking was a little dicey, but only due to a retirement party. Joseph's is hosting first responders this month and they eat free. You should drop by.

We went for dinner after a day at the zoo. It was fairly busy but we were seated right away so not overly so. It was a very cute restaurant, the waitress was nice but it was hard to get her attention (wanted to order appetizers because our pizza was taking so long but didn't get her). It took over an hour to get our pizza and when we asked about the delay we were told it was because they'd received a lot of online orders. The pizza was just okay and not worth the wait.

Tried spaghetti and meatballs and pizza, and it was all really bad. We're from Philly, not exactly known for pizza, but we do better here. The reviews brought us here after Jax Zoo, but I've had such better food in Jax, this was really disappointing. Reviews are really inflated for the very basic cafeteria taste. Cafeteria taste means the pizza was worse than frozen Ellio's, and the gluten in the spaghetti tasted like paper or cardboard, the sauce was essentially bitter ketchup. On top of the really bad food, they were very late on their pick up time, and cost was high for even good pizza takeout. Would not return.

First time here food is wonderful and of cause I am taking desert home NY cheese cake and tiramisu and home made cannolis. Yummy. Will be back for sure and owner is Greek opaaas

I just picked up there Valentine special. Seafood Lasagna. Omg can you say AMAZING. It had shrimp, blue crab,Maui Maui, and scallops. Definitely worth the money.

Best Pizza ever. Enjoyed the food, atmosphere was very welcoming and pleasant, and the service was ok. Pizza dough was plain and simply one of the best I have ever enjoyed. Perfect amount of sauce coupled with delicious pepperoni made for the perfect slice of pie. Would most definitely be coming back. Also enjoyed deserts - chocolate delight and carrot cake. Both pieces were good. Lasagna was good too. Plenty of parking, tables, and space. Stop by and eat some pie.

Pizza is always good, when you add the service to great pizza, it makes the experience that much better. Thank you Darael for your great service and your smile.

Food and service were great! I ordered stuffed mushrooms and a small margarita pizza. You can tell that they really put their heart into making their food.

I ordered take out. The best was the Italian sub lots of flavor and the house Italian dressing came in a little cup I think it has a red wine vinegar for a bite. So good! My only meh was the American cheese. When I order this again I'll ask for only the mozzarella. Remember I said I got takeaway? I can't blame them for the overcooked pasta and broccoli because I don't know if they were cooked well when it was made. Everything was still hot after I got home but the pasta was too well done for my tastes. When I reheated I put in a pan with evoo then topped with parm and baked in the oven. Great flavor but still over cooked. I will be back and next time will eat in! Huge portions so there will be leftovers again.

I love Joseph's Pizza. I always get the lasagna because it's always consistently good!

As always the food at Joseph's was delicious. We had a new waitress tonight and with a multi-complicated orders placed, she did Excellent! Thanks Kristina!! Also, thanks to the manager Patty for running a well tuned dining establishment! Eating at Joseph's is like spending time with family!!!

Joseph's is always amazing from the food to the service. It's worth the drive. We haven't had a bad thing there. We are so happy they are doing well.

Stick with A pizzas they're much fresher than the sandwiches. That's just my honest opinion. Other than that the place is awesome.

Hands down one of the best pizza!! If you have a large family, this is the place to take them. The portions are huge and you can easily share the extra large pizza with 8 people! The ingredients are fresh. The cheese stretches really good and gooey! Also, every time we've been here, the staff have been wonderful. Very attentive. Very sweet. Overall feels very welcoming. Glad to see us. Highly recommend Joseph!

Can't say enough good things about this place, just wish it was closer to me. We were promptly greeted and seated in the front dining room. Our server (Courtney) was attentive and kind despite having to get a kitchen worker to mop up a spilled drink. My family and I stopped in for dinner and ordered garlic knots, an antipasto salad, drinks and a cheese Sicilian pizza (square thick crust). They also gave us some free garlic bread. Everything was well cooked and tasty. The garlic knots are little buttery knots of dough covered in Parmesan, while the antipasto which has deli meats, pickled veggies and fresh veggies comes with a choice of dressing (pick the house made creamy Italian). The Sicilian pizza takes a little longer to cook but it is big enough to feed 5 with leftovers since it is a thick crust pizza. I have gotten it with toppings before but I think it is best served with just cheese. The highlight was that the total bill was a little more than $50. Way below what I expected. Recommend the trip if you are in the mood for pizza.

Went on Friday night with a friend and Raven was our server. Excellent service!! Food was amazing. Antipasto salad we split. I had the pasta combo special and my friend had the calzone. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were on point. Great experience!!

Chef was great!!! He came and talked to our family and was super sweet!! Waitress was also sweet and nice. My family is from texas and we all thought it was 10/10!!! Our first time eating out and they definitely didn't disappoint!

This was my first visit to Josephs. I'd heard good things & finally stopped in for a togo order after visiting the zoo. They do not make the Naples pizza anymore, so I ordered a medium hand tossed pizza with olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, black olives, feta & mozzarella. It is probably the best pizza I've had in Jax!! The crust was perfectly cook & so fresh! The ingredients were also fresh & evenly distributed. I, also, got the Muffaletta sandwich. It is huge! Freshly baked bread & homemade olive dressing. I HIGHLY recommend it. Also, probably the best Muffaletta in Jax! Very clean restaurant & great ambiance with a great waitstaff. I wil DEF be back!

The service was great, the prices amazing and everyone was so friendly. Had anti pasta salad, the small fed us both, and a small meat pizza, delicious!

I was told this is the only decent place to eat in the area. Inside is quite a bit different than the exterior. All their bread is homemade, and they have homemade sauces as well, among other things. Upon walking in, they have a board with daily specials. They have a very small bar area with 4 barstools and about 7 draft beers. Their pizzas looked good, but I knew I wouldnt be able to finish a whole pizza so I just ordered a homemade Italian sausage sandwich. The sandwich was large and filled with pan Italian sausage, mozzarella cheese and their homemade marinara sauce. Pretty good, but a lot of bread. I wasn't able to eat all of the bread. I ordered a baklava cheesecake to go....then decided to eat it on my drive back across town to my hotel. It's definitely unique and I can't say I've ever had a cheesecake like this, I do like baklava, and cheesecake....just never had this combination before. Overall, this place is a good spot if you're in the area, or looking to take a client out and not venture too far away. Service was quick, even though they were shorted handed on my visit.

Pizza was decent. Nothing to go back for. I think the crust and toppings were pretty good. The sauce was too sweet and stood out in a bad way. Pizza and garlic knots were fresh. Glad I tried it but I'm good.

Went here on the recommendation of neighbors. My go to whenever I try a new Italian restaurant is eggplant parmigiana. Is it fresh? Is it tasty? How is the sauce? Etc. Well it did not pass the test. Not going back for eggplant parm. Not sure about other items except salad with chopped chicken which was okay. May return for pizza one day.

I got the eggplant parm sub - the size was massive which was a big surprise so I ended up having it for 2 meals, however the sauce was not for me, it was very strong and all I could taste long after eating. Maybe there was too much garlic? I don't know what it was but I would never get this again because of that. What I would go back for? The cannoli! I've never had a cannoli like it before I got the walnut and it tasted like it had amaretto in it so it was really delicious. The place was pretty busy so I know people like it but I just wouldn't get the eggplant parm again, but I'm not sure if they use the same sauce for their pizza.

Had dinner with the family tonight at the Atlantic Bch location. Great service and the food was delicious! We always order the Antipasto salad and the Josephs Special pizzas! I have been going to the Main Street location since I was in High School. Always a great experience!

My family and I have been coming here for years, but it had been a while since we visited the original location. We happened to be on the side of town, so we came here for lunch. It was almost empty when we walked in, so we had a large table to ourselves. The service was excellent, with our waitress being super sweet and attentive, bringing us multiple baskets of garlic bread!! I looked at the specials and decided on the grilled chicken with spaghetti and minestrone soup. There was plenty of spaghetti and chicken, and the minestrone soup was full of flavor and ingredients. I was filled by the finishing of the spaghetti and chicken. I thought it was a great lunch, and the perfect environment to spend with family.

This always has and remains a great place on the North side of Jax. I grew up in the area and used to frequent this restaurant. Every time I come through town I make it a point to visit. I had another amazing visit last night, you know right when you pull in the parking lot and it is full. It is just that sign that the food will be good. I went with my kids, we had a garlic bread starter, pizzas and dessert for an AMAZING price. Not only was there a great price, the food was excellent as usual. I would recommend that everyone should visit this place. Keep it a shinning gem of the Northside of Jax!

I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars. The service was absolutely great, and the food was even better. I got the garlic knots (I think they sprinkled crack on them knots) and they were awesome. You just can't eat one. The soup was great as well. I got the create your own pasta, and it was delicious. My wife got a calzone, and let me tell you, it was the best calzone we ever had. You have to give this place a shot, family owned business that has been in business for over 50 years.

We are in town for the AAU track meet and was driving around town and saw this little Italian pizza joint called Joseph's. The waitress was very attentive and answered all of our questions. We ordered the mozzarella sticks which were really good and the garlic knots which were some of the best I have ever had eaten. The meats pizza we ordered was hot when it arrived and had great flavor. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone in the area.

So warmly greeted by a lovely woman at the counter. Kind of a dimly lite place but seemed to be pretty full of people dining and airing for take out. I got my pizza because I had heard so much about this place being it's been a staple of Jacksonville a VERY long time. I must say I was highly disappointed. It was really that good. Nothing had flavor even the crust was like eating a regular slice of bread. But I must say I may have gotten the wrong choice and they have a lot to choose from. Will try again something different before I cement this opinion

Can't believe we've never heard of this place or seen it. However, on a Sunday it was packed for lunch. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Patty was our waitress and she was great. Had the Gyro Pizza and a pitcher of Sangria. Pizza was delicious and sangria was refreshing! We'll definitely be back. Looking forward to trying their pasta, especially their broccoli lasagna!

Another fabulous meal from Joseph's. Every meal I have had here has been fantastic. My wife has some Devi food allergies and they take excellent care of her needs. The manager and I even got into a discussion of how authentic their muffuletta sandwich (their bread is made from scratch) is, since I have had them all over the world, but never from here. She went to the back and made one so that I could try it, so that I could order it in the future more comfortably knowing what it was like. Needless to say, it was fabulous and the bread was incredibly fresh. Add Joseph's to your must go to restaurant list.

So tonight's Spotlight is on the Northside of Jacksonville Florida. Joseph's Pizza has been in the same location for over 60 years and I have fond vivid memories during my childhood and teenage years going there for occasional weekend dinners as a treat. It has stood through tough times, different owners and even a Fire 3 years ago. The locals have kept supporting and helping the restaurant thrive again through this pandemic which makes a fellow local small business support very proud of my City. So of course I can't go to Joseph's "Pizza" and not have a few slices! I got some great recommendations from Ms. Cindy and the Side of Meatballs was a great addition to tide me over while my pie was being prepared. I shared my childhood memories with her and the night shift Manager who originally sat me and checked in throughout my meal and even surprised me with some of their Fresh made Zeppoles. This restaurant is a true destination spot with a family atmosphere to welcome guests from every walk of life to just come enjoy an affordable delicious meal. If you enjoy pizza & Italian dishes, do yourselves a favor and visit them!!

Joseph's pizza never fails. It's always delicious and cooked perfectly. The staff is always amazing.

Not a good experience. Ceased salad was completely drenched in dressing which made it soggy and too rich. Alfredo sauce was soupy. Pizza was okay.

I have lived in Springfield for many years and I have not tried Joseph's until recently and I must say it waa pretty tasty. The decor is amazing and the staff is friendly. And you know you are in a good place when you see kids smiling as they are eating. I was really craving chicken Alfredo and decided to give this place a try. The chicken Alfredo was good but I want to see what else is on the menu.

Dinner last night was wonderful! Patty was our server. Fun and caring, we had a great time! Thank you Patty! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We've been going to Joseph's for years as a family, carry out and for our company Christmas parties. Never disappointed. On the way out we rarely walk past the dessert case without taking something home to have with our leftovers!

Stumbled upon this place while leaving the zoo and I must say this hit the spot. It's a cute little restaurant tucked in a building down Main st. I got the manicotti which was different than I'm use to because it was stuffed with spinach,cheese and sausage unlike most dishes I've had but it was delicious. We sampled a few different items on the menu and everything was really yummy. The employees were a bit short staffed but we were serviced in a timely fashioned. I also got a baklava cheesecake, 2 cannolis and a chocolate dream cake. I would have taken pictures but it didn't last that long. I recommend this place especially after a nice visit to the zoo.

It's been there since I was a kid and it is still awesome. Recently went for lunch and had pizza slices one time and calzones the other. Both were delicious. Also, the beer is cold. This is important. Friendly staff, good experience

Good food large portions. Very nice staff! Definitely recommend! We had The wings..just say yes to the wings! Pizza and spaghetti with large meatballs was also good.
