It was raining big time on our way to South Haven so the botanical garden we planned was a no go. We came upon Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks MI. What a great find! We a private tour with Ed learning the history and tasting 14, yes 14, pours. Ed was very thorough on the history and what we were drinking. I love the history of the building and Journeyman. We came away with a few bottles and had a couple drinks at the bar. My husband had a straight bourbon and I had a frozen concoction called the OCG apple cider, a white whiskey drink with apple juice and spices blended and frozen. Amazing!! Their restaurant is large and look like it had a really good menu, but we didn’t eat there since we had already eaten lunch. Next time. I’ve been on the Bourbon Trail three years in a row, and this year will be number four. I felt like I was on the Bourbon Trail. For you Midwesterners, no need to drive to Kentucky. Check out this distillery in Michigan. You won’t be sorry. I had a great time!!

Came here with my wife last Thursday since I had the day off. This was our second stop on our bonus date day :) I had seen and heard of this place but had never been there. Inside, I liked it already because of how simply cool it looks! The do woodwork very well here, spoiler alert, even check folder was a beautiful piece of well preserved wood! I was also intrigued by what they make and sell right up front, from limoncello liqueur to bourbon mustard. They also have samples of some of their drinks and condiments. We ended up bringing home some of that bourbon mustard, it is so good! I've already made some sandwiches with it 😂 After our wait, we were seated and out came our cool waiter. I forgot his name but he was a real one. We started with the Specialty Flight, which I've attached to this review. Everything was good, even that really strong rum 😂 One of the shots, the OCG, we ended up buying a bottle of on the way out. Yum! For my entree I got the chicken linguine. Simple, but surprisingly good. And not so rich that you feel like you could sleep for days after eating it. Overall, this is an awesome place! An amazing distillery offering local specialties and some good food along with it. I will definitely be back to try some more of their products 👍🏻

We visited from out of state in August 2025 and had a fantastic time. We started with a tour given by Mandy, who told us a ton of interesting facts about the history of the business, the building, and the whiskeys that are distilled here. Mandy was kind, knowledgeable, and funny! We then had dinner at Union Hall where we started with the crispy chicken chorizon rolls. For our meals I got the chili lime cauliflower and my husband got the bourbon blackened chicken pasta. We are from a foodie city (Asheville, NC) and were very impressed with everything we ordered! Our server (wish I could remember his name!) was attentive, friendly, and gave great suggestions. Overall, we were only in town for a weekend and are very happy we stopped in here, and wish we had more time to explore their grounds and try more food!

Located in a refurbished Featurebone and Corsets factory from the 1800s,this place is huge. We browsed thru their gift shop area and did a tasting flight for lunch. Prices for the flights are very reasonable and the bottles for purchase are good compared to other local distilleries. They offer 5 different flights including the Rye,Vodka and Gin they made in collaboration with the Field Museum in Chicago. I did the Cask Strength flight for only 10.00. Their Ryes were very good. They offer a huge craft cocktail menu as well as hand crafted beers. A really neat place to visit when in Michigan.

The food is amazing! I love the BLT and Mac n Cheese! And for Sunday brunch the French Toast is the best! And the service is great too!

Google
Did the $35 tour, and I say it was well worth the money! You get to try many whiskeys, the tour around the distillery was cool (although it is hard to hear the guide due to the factory noise) but it was very interesting. You get the Glen Cairn glass valued at $12 to keep included in the tour fee. The best part was definitely sitting down at the bar and getting 13+ rounds of tastes. I recommend this tour for sure, and definitely have a designated driver because you WILL get buzzed. The food here is delicious - had the journeyman burger and every bite was ambrosia. Really cool place, and there's a mini gift shop to buy the whiskeys you tasted and many glasses. I even want to go check out the Valpo Journeyman Distillery, as they mentioned it is even bigger than the one here in Three Oaks!

In town from Chicago and stopped in on Saturday afternoon! Sat at the bar and was served by Doug- who gave us amazing suggestions. Food, dessert, and drinks were top notch. 12/10 recommend

Google
Great dinner and drinks in a fun historical setting. Whiskey flights were very good and the drinks were all superb. Apps, entrees, and kids meals all exceeded expectations and the service was efficient. Putting green was full sun on a 90-degree day so that wasn’t great but the kids still had fun. Would be a blast in better weather.

Yelp
This is a tough one. We have been here a few times. The good part: The place is super cool with an old rustic look. There are plenty of seats to accommodate everyone. Drinks are ok. The food is pretty good. The price is a little high on drinks. Now the bad part: The service. I don't know why it is always so bad. I can take bad service once maybe even twice, but to get bad service every time, that's unacceptable. Here's the kicker. The Valpo Journeyman is the same way when it comes to service. We have been there a few times and it's horrible. This makes me think it's a reflection of management. Something isn't right, and they need to figure that part out. If they do, I might come back. For now, I'm done spending my money here.

Yelp
Very cool spot in Three Oaks MI. Cocktails are delicious and inventive with many many different options. The beer shouldn't be missed either! We enjoyed some appetizers which were all tasty...spinach and artichoke dip, fritters and soft pretzel. You can buy spirits in the restaurant which is fun too. A little pricey but expected.

Yelp
A must if in area! On a Sunday early afternoon, there was a 45 minute plus wait, so we opted to sit an the bar and was seated within 5 minutes. Located in an 1800 Featherbone and Corsets Factory. There were several empty tables, so not sure what was going on. However, the service at the bar was excellent. I tried the Purple Rain and appreciated our bartender telling me to get my camera ready. I was not expecting the drink to change color, but it did. The mixture of flavors, worked so well together. My husband had a cherry old fashioned a barrel aged old fashioned. The drinks are worth stopping in. For food we had the Journeyman Pizza with bourbon crust. It was Detroit style pizza , but was nothing special. They offer tours and there is a putting green! They sell their whiskey and bourbon , along with other merchandise. When in Michigan , we will definately return.

Yelp
We arrived at 11am on a Saturday morning, and I was concerned about showing up so early to a brewery. There was a line, so I guess great minds think alike! By the time we left the building was bursting at the seams! Even if you are not into breweries the building and it's history is still worth a visit. The building was an 1800 Featherbone and Corsets Factory, and the owners have done a lovely restoration. The menu is eclectic and interesting, and the are so many creative cocktails. I had a drink made with fig rye, and one was not enough. If you need to by any gifts for the holidays or other occasions there is a lovely gift shop.

Yelp
My favorite thing here is what they're known for, the detroit style pizza. it's got a crispy crust yet still thinner than other detroit pizzas I've had. They have a putting green onsite as well which is nice to just sip and play. We had an incredible time at Journeyman Distillery, I recommend that you guys pay them a visit.

Yelp
The good , the bad and the ugly, we had lunch on a Saturday afternoon . Whoever designed this space , it's amazing ! I loved it ! The service was very good and the manager even stopped by and would I go back absolutely yes but..... our water glasses were dirty , our utensils were dirty and the food had to be sent back to get warmed up . All of those things , I can get over , my expectations are not huge but what bothered me the most were the fruit flies !! They were everywhere ! I hope they can address this problem because I definitely will return . I would recommend one of the flight options, there were three to choose from and I choose the whiskey option , it is a wonderful way to try all of the beverages they sell which is a great marketing tool as I purchased 2 that were really tasty ! It was set up for a wedding when we visited and it was fab ! I would definitely recommend this place for a wedding and the prices were pretty responsible as well. Everyone we encountered working on this day was exceptionally nice and professional .

Yelp
The distillery has a large restaurant where you can order food and order tastings of their whiskey. The staff are nice. Fried Brussels Sprouts: very yummy. Good flavour and texture. A bit greasy. Hand-cut Season Fries: first batch was over cooked and dry. The staff refried a new batch and it tasted much better. Not the best fries. Detroit Meets Italy Pizza: Detroit style pizza. The pizza had fresh ingredients with a crispy cheesey crust. However, the flavour is a bit bland. Wish that there was more pesto across the pizza. Old Fashioned Wings: flavour was great and the chicken was very juicy. This dish seems like a Monday special.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the three oaks location. This was my first time and its one of the most underrated places ever. If you get a chance to go do it!! if you like smoked things and not a overpowering smoked taste, their food is amazing

Yelp
DO NOT host your wedding at Journeyman Distillery, three oaks. I was involved with a wedding there on 6.20.25 and the air conditioning was broken in the grainery (and had been broken for several days) and neither management or the owners bothered to notify the bride and groom of the issue. On the hottest weekend of the summer. It was HOT AND HUMID AND MISERABLE. Unbearable for some guests. so they brought in a few fans and a few units that weren't even blowing cold air. But the fact that NO ONE bothered to contact the bride and groom and clearly communicate the issue and propose another option is not acceptable in the wedding industry. Different on site 'managers' had different stories and neither were probably the truth. The only positive was the excellent bar service attendants and catering staff that were working hard despite the sweltering conditions.

Yelp
The Coffee Liqueur is the absolute best ever! Black is GREAT, but this is better! If you don't want to drive to Michigan or order on line, you can get it at A&S Beverages in Chicago.

Yelp
Really loved this place for the most part. The food was great. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was 10/10. The service was great, Rachel our server was really sweet and checked in the perfect amount of times. The bad part was the ambiance. Despite being such a big place, it was so hot and stuffy. I almost couldn't enjoy my food nor could my friends because we were so over heated. Our server had to wear a fan around her neck due to the heat. If you are going here, dress very light and expect to not be very comfortable during your meal.

Yelp
Cool vibe. Friendly, excellent service. Conveniently next door to the Acorn theater. Food was good except for the mustard. We had the pretzel appetizer which came with cheese sauce and mustard sauce. I love mustard, but the mustard was almost solid--full of so many seeds that it was crunchy. It was also pretty strongly horseradishy. My husband had the angus burger with bacon topped mustard potato salad. The burger was good, but the potato salad had an overpowering spicy mustard flavor. I had the turkey club. The turkey club was delicious, and the fries that came with it were really good. Overall it was a pleasant experience except for the potato salad. I think it would have been great if they had used a more subtle mustard and less of it.

Yelp
Of course we had to check out Journeyman! We arrived at opening and there were already people turned out. At first we thought we were perhaps a little over ambitious but I am here to tell you this place fills up fast in no time. This was the first stop on our visit so we were pacing ourselves, my wife had the fig old fashioned and I had a white whiskey mule with jalapeno heat; and we split the brussels. The service was extremely friendly, accommodating, and more than happy to help out a couple of first timers. The place is massive, with plenty of areas to sit and explore. There is a putting green out back for the kiddos, daily tours offered, a gift shop, etc. There is also an elevator for those that need it, rest rooms up and down. The building is full of examples of upcycling, from the wood used from the old barn, the original factory floors, to the piece of flooring that you will receive your bill on. Fun fact, the building used to be the factory that made buggy whips and revolutionized corsets by using turkey bones instead of whale bones. The original owner was also a staunch prohibitionist so he is probably spinning in his grave lol.

Jay G.

Yelp
This was our first stop on a long weekend getaway. It was a great experience. We did the tour (which I would recommend). The tour was thorough in learning about the history of the building/area, as well as the story behind some of the spirits. The tour included a tasting of 13 of the spirits. They weren't huge pours, but it was still a lot!! There wasn't any of the spirits that we tried that I didn't like... they were all very smooth. Only difficulty was that, after a few of the tastings, they all started to taste a bit the same. Probably would be a good idea to have some crackers or something to clear the palate a bit and also to do a small rinse of the glasses between some of the pours (since the same glass is used for all of the tastings). Nonetheless, we enjoyed our visit to the Journeyman Distillery.

Yelp
First time here and we really liked our experience-- from pre dinner drinks on the putting green to a nice dinner. Buy your putting passes at the front, grab your putter, and head out back. There's a silo bar and handy cup holders at every tee box. The putting green is legit too-- long and shot putts and lots of undulations. Fun and challenging! Dinner was great-- the open, lively dining room is energizing and the menu choices are great. We really enjoyed our food -- pasta, burger, Nashville hot chicken, and Detroit style pizza-- yum! Everything about Journeyman's is well thought out and guest focused. A gem in Harbor Country!

Yelp
We've been going to Journeyman for years as locals here in town. It's one of our favorite places to enjoy and brings friends visiting. We've had Father's Day for five years with three other families and our kids and look forward to continuing the tradition. We've gotten to know the wait staff and bartenders through the years, who work really hard with a smile. Oh, yeah. The food is great. The whiskey's are superb. We always bring home a bottle or two to enjoy. We hope the current hostess acquires more table manners given our experience with her this last Father's Day. It'd be nice too if the owners took the time to respond when feedback is given when dining experiences are surprisingly. negatively affected by their hostess. We'll keep going to experience all that Journeyman is and can be.

Yelp
I attended a wedding here many years ago and remember it fondly. We also visited on a vacation during Covid and thought it was great. But this visit? Not so good. Service was strange. Head of house didn't acknowledge us for a good 5 minutes as we stood at the stand waiting. Then our server was similarly disinterested in us. She brought our drinks to 3 other tables before ours and seemed flustered when my kids ordered for themselves. Food was such a letdown. I love garlic, so I figured the pizza feat garlic would be such a hit but it was soooooo overdone. I feel like they put on 3x the amount they should have. Kids' meals were weird. The Mac & cheese sauce was straight up water at the bottom of the dish and the fries were overcooked. Everything was just such a miss, which was sad because it has not been like that in the past! There was also a birds nest growing right over our outdoor seating, which is icky. I don't think we'll be back for a long while.

Yelp
Had an amazing time with my family at Journeyman's. The burgers were done perfect and were very, very good! The service was great and the ambiance was very modern. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Aparna B.

Yelp
Great food, drinks and ambiance. Reserved for dinner and all day golf. My sister I came here first for a drink while out shopping and then we came back with our families for dinner on a Friday night. It was so chaotic for the weekend. But our server was as friendly and attentive. They don't have a lot of vegetarian food. I got the vegan grinder which was OK - really oily and messy and kind of blah in flavor. The pizzas were really good though. They have some apps and then a one pasta dish. I bought some mustard because it was so good. The putt-putt was kinda meh. It's cute but it's just one giant green with putting holes so a bit crowded and chaotic out back. But it was great for my nephew to get his energy out!
google avatar

Douglas M.

Yelp
Our experience was top notch. The Journeyman Burger was on if the best burgers I have eaten! Three beef patties, cheddar jack cheese, Featherbone caramelized onions, crispy onions, jalapeño, lettuce, gin pickles, and roasted garlic aioli. It had amazing flavor with a little heat! Great job Journeyman on the new menu. You guys really hit a home run with this new menu!
google avatar

Melaine K.

Yelp
The ambiance is great and the service was excellent. The booze is average. The food was completely average. The French onion soup was so sweet. The homemade ketchup just tastes weird. I would go back for drinks but never again for food.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
What a wonderful nod to the historic significance of this building, combined with tasty food, and creative drinks. The signature cocktails were enjoyed by several members of my party. Surprisingly, the offerings for non-alcoholic beverages were also complex and tasty - a huge boon for the non-imbibers. The food was enjoyable, the Detroit pizza was an outstanding win on the menu. Service can be on the slow side, but usually because the servers are so busy and spread out. It is a very enjoyable venue and well worth a visit.
google avatar

Andrew C.

Yelp
Really cool and huge venue! So much merchandise and giftable and cabinetry food items to purchase. We had reservations for our group, the place is so big I can't imagine you have to wait but it was also packed and busy and lively. Also a wedding going on upstairs so some fun music playing. Only thing that would've made it better was I think our server was a little frazzled. She was friendly but didn't come back very frequently so I had to wait for the side order and getting more drinks. The food was super fast though! Kudos to them because it was one of the fastest and our group size was decent with 6 and again the place was packed. Everyone loved their food too. My wife got the pulled pork and I got the triple patty burger (guess my photo didn't save). Great flavor my burger was a little dry so I got some Chipotle Mayo to dip it in. The ketchup which my friends love also was a winner for me. Hard to describe but lighter taste with a jam type flavor. Overall a great visit and would love to come back when the putting green is open.

Yelp
As always. Great service. Great drinks. Great food. You really cant find anything better. Swing by during your vacation in New Buffalo! Try the flights. Try the burger. Try the cocktails. You wont regret it.

Ginny S.

Yelp
Great place to sit and relax. Our waitress Olivia was super friendly and accommodating. A great evening out!
google avatar

Kamilah S.

Yelp
This place is still great. We sat at the bar, as always. Our bartenders were great. Very attentive, made great recommendations. When in town, definitely check this place out.
google avatar

Yelp
The pizza is our favorite. Their homemade crust is crazy good. Beers made in their Valparaiso location are also very good. A must stop.
google avatar

Xavier G.

Yelp
This place is amazing the food and the service is so nice not to mention the seeing all the different stills and cool equipment to make bourbon is so cool!

Kim U.

Yelp
Overall an extremely underwhelming experience. We called ahead for a 7:30 reservation and weren't seated until about 7:45. I noticed my water glass had a pretty large crack in it and asked one of the staff for a new one and you'd think I was speaking another language. Throughout the meal our server seemed disinterested and any questions we asked were met with short answers and no elaboration. I had a coffee martini and my husband ordered a Mexican coke which was served warm with a glass of ice. I was excited to try the bbq beef Mac and cheese but was ultimately disappointed. The cheese sauce was so bland and the beef pretty dried out. We also ordered the meatloaf dinner which was ok and a grilled chicken sandwich, also just ok. It was pretty crowded as it was prime time on a Saturday night and I didn't realize how loud it was in the restaurant until we got outside. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be back. Oh I almost forgot the 1% "historical fee" we were charged with no explanation! Not sure if we missed a note on the menu...
google avatar

Chris W.

Yelp
Worth the extra miles off the highway to grab a bit and drink. The club was absolutely awesome and really enjoyed the Detroit style pepperoni and sausage pizza. I wish we would've had more time to hit the putt putt course in the back. Next time for sure. Very cool space with regular restaurant and then separate tap room.

Yelp
All the ingredients for a fun night in Three Oaks: - Add one part eclectic menu: pizza - Detroit-style with a unique Featherbone crust made with bourbon whiskey mash bill; Heritage Angus burger with caramelized onions, gin pickled and gluten-free bun; Meatloaf stacked high on potatoes with a silver cross whiskey au poivre sauce - Mix with handcrafted spirits that have a true sense of place or 'terroir.' Journeyman uses locally sourced Midwest organic grains and unfiltered/untreated water from an underground aquifer. There are many interesting drinks and you can purchase bottles in the shop. - Blend into this unique setting - this 1883 building was originally a buggy whips and corset factory known as the Featherbone - and utilizes the original maple factory floors. There is a festive aura with strings of lights, a long bar, views of barrels and vats. We saw groups having fun on the putting green (Welter's Folly), fire pit, bags. Now garnish with a sweet finish of Strawberry Shortcake with house made biscuits, limoncello strawberries and Valpo vanilla ice cream.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch and drinks while traveling in the area. It has a chill and welcoming atmosphere. Service was fast and we were seated quickly. I started with the fried Brussels sprouts which were delicious! Salty and a bit sweet with some crispy bits. I also had their sausage and pepperoni Detroit style pizza. It was so good, the pizza sauce was flavorful and the crust was amazing. They must bake it with cheese on the edges of the pizza to create the crispy cheese crusted edge. Our table did share a basket of fries which comes with their homemade ketchup. Unfortunately our first batch of fries was stale, but they were happy to replace it with a fresh basket which tasted much better. I was not a huge fan of the homemade ketchup, but I think that might just be personal preference. For drinks I had their cask strength whiskey flight which includes five 0.25 ounce pours. My favorite of the bunch was the "corsets, whips and whiskey", it had heavy notes of coffee, caramel and vanilla which I enjoyed. Overall an enjoyable experience and I would stop by again if I am traveling through the area.

Yelp
Journeyman Distillery is one of my favorite places to swing by whenever I visit Southwest Michigan. The ambiance is chill and fun, and the food delicious. The prices are also a very good value for what you get. This past visit, my husband and I got two flights (the whiskey and the specialty), the Detroit pizza, and the pretzel. I am not exaggerating when I say that pretzel was one of the best I've ever had. And the pizza was great! I'm a bourbon gal myself, and their Featherbone is top notch. I also love their Snaggletooth Coffee Liquor. For coffee lovers, it's easy to sip and tastes just like cold brew. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We came by here with our group of 18 as we wanted to come to a local distillery. We were out in Sawyer for our group festivities and I couldn't help but notice the Yelp reviews on this place & it did not disappoint. They were able to accomodate our group and most of us tried their delicious drinks. I even purchased one of their liquors to take home! We wanted to do the distillery tour, but the venue wasn't able to accomodate our group during the times that we want. Maybe next time as it looked interesting. Food was good, vibes were nice & staff was very attentive.

Yelp
My favorite establishment of the western Michigan trip. Atmosphere was so cool and drink were fresh snd quite reasonable. Waitstaff / bar staff so accommodating. I will be back.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
Very cool setting inside an old factory, the story of the building is in the food menu. It is a bit confusing finding your way around if you've never been before and it gets very crowded. They have a putting green with a patio area, but it was closed/reserved for a private event so not 100% sure how that works (bring your own putter vs rent). We sat on a different outdoor patio to enjoy drinks while waiting for our table. Our lunch was delicious. The Bourbon Milkshake is amazing. You have to try the gin pickles!!! Don't let the gin deter you.

Yelp
I am so impressed and inspired by the no shortcuts spirit-making here: grain to spirit. I came here as a solo traveler -honestly, at first I was drawn in because of the gluten free and dairy free and vegan offerings of the restaurant. It was a good way to be social on a weekday while traveling. Great tour by Mandy, and a nice, super friendly and historic atmosphere. Still quite lively on a Tuesday afternoon in late August. I am glad I did not go at a more crowded time like a weekend. Not a whiskey/alcohol person?? Still encouraged. Just watch out for the 90 proof+ times 11 tasting.. you will be wayy more than tipsy at the end if you do not sip and spit. I was really surprised by what I liked at the tasting vs what I 'thought' I might like. Tour again was awesome and might be even better with an educational /take home handout on the actual distillation /fermentation process, especially for those pesky engineering or technical types ;). Whole place is perfused with l'eau de sweet grain. Staymaker restaurant review will be in a separate entry to come.

Yelp
Best Cherry old fashioned I've ever had. Like genuinely A+. Thankfully they had premade and I bought some to take home. (Also very crowded)

Yelp
We came here recently to celebrate father's day and it was so much fun! The tour was ok, nothing too exciting, but the tasting part of the tour was worth it! We had 12 samples and got to learn the history behind each one. Although I am not a huge whiskey fan, I felt these were smooth and easy to drink. We then went to check out the mini golf course- kids golf for free and my nephew had a blast! It's not like your typical mini golf course with all the decorations, it looks just like a miniature, professional golf course. Lastly, we had dinner here which was amazing. They had a lot of gluten free options which I appreciated! I'll review this further under their actual yelp page but would definitely recommend staying for dinner. Overall, a great experience and fun day for all ages!

Yelp
We made a reservation for brunch after Journeyman was recommended to us. We had excellent service - our waiter was really knowledgeable about our flights. We enjoyed a mix of items from the brunch and regular menu; the space was very cool but a little crowded. We also enjoyed the merch section and the customer service at the check out was great too - they provided a sample and took care to wrap up the bottles.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. The French dip www to die for and I highly recommend the honey corsets, whips, & whiskey drink. It's the best! Go here.

Yelp
We are longtime patrons of Journeyman's. The consistently delicious food, outstanding service, and fantastic drinks keeps us coming back. The Polynesian dinner was great!

Yelp
Food options ok. Service was ok. Prices are very high for the area, but they have the demand for it. Parking is plentiful on the side. Town is great.

Yelp
Journeyman Distellery is an absolute gem. There aren't many places around that boast a top notch Whiskey program to pair with phenomenal hospitality and a truly delicious kitchen. The cocktails are varied and creative, the Whiskey flights are awesome and the best way to taste through the large offering of spirits that are hand made in house. The food is absolutely worth coming here for by itself. Big portions, big flavors, and there's something for everyone. Detroit Pizza? They got it. Smashburger? They got it. And nothing is average or run of the mill. The decor is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Two giant tower stills are the centerpiece, with plenty of tanks and wood that help remind you may be brushing elbows with the very people that create the golden liquid pouring freely throughout the establishment. Journeyman is a must stop for anyone who enjoys Whiskey, cocktails, good food, and good vibes.

Yelp
Dropped in for a distillery tour and went to the attached restaurant (Staymaker) before the tour. The restaurant and distillery are housed in an old factory with a lot of rustic character, high ceilings, and clean! Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating as we needed to finish our food before the scheduled tour. For this, our first time here, we only ordered a few shared plates. We got the fried Brussels sprouts, charred carrots, and bilberry black hearts gin pickles. The charred carrots came glazed with their own special OCG sauce, spiced pecans, and goat cheese. Perfectly crunchy and delicious! The real star of the show was the fried brussels sprouts with maple, bacon, and lemon. Oh my....they were perfectly roasted and tossed with some magical concoction of maple, bacon and lemon. If you come here for one thing, get these fried brussels sprouts! The gin pickles sounds wonderful on paper, yet turned out to be fairly ordinary. In our opinion, they could have used some onions and a little sweetness to make them a bit more unique. Bottom line - we're coming back for a full dinner next time! P.S. the distillery tour was great as well and included a very generous tasting.
