"A family of winemakers is behind Journeyman Meat Co, where they pay just as much attention to salami and charcuterie as they do to their wines. All the charcuterie is made locally in Sonoma County, and is perfect for an on-the-road picnic or to stash in your luggage for the trip home. The sandwiches are near-perfect and made to order—we like the smoked sausage sandwich with garlicky aioli, roasted peppers, and fennel." - allison green

Great quality steaks and pizzas and the salami is one of the best you'll have.

We are frequent customers of Journeyman for their amazing meats and pizzas but we just had our rehearsal dinner there and couldn’t recommend it enough for events as well! We had 35 people and they handled the event seamlessly. We were able to the use their indoor and outdoor space and their famous hospitality was in full force. They made us feel so taken care of and the food was incredible! Would highly recommend for lunch or your next event!

Cute store and they have various choices of salamis. Staff are super friendly to offer the tasting and help you find out your favorite. One of the best salami I've had too 😋. Worth a stop if you're around.

This place will make you feel at home right away. Not only are the wines fabulous, but the meats outshine anything you’ve ever experienced. Teri is amazing, if you’re so lucky to have her guide your tasting. Hands down will be here again and will have dreams about this place. Six stars if I could

Was tipped off to try Journeyman Meat Co. by the folks at Aldina. Owned by a Seghesio, naturally their salumi, sausages, etc go nicely with wine and I'm sure with beer. It's not a large store with the cases of meat and the counter placed into a galley type area in the front to the left with fridges of product on the right. There is a narrow seating area of mainly cushioned benches to the right when you first walk in and also some stools with high top tables and umbrellas out front. We needed a snack before we went to our next wine testing and their grilled sausages hit the spot. We had already tried their salumi which is too notch. Stop by for a snack on site or something yummy to take home.

Wow! What a great experience going to Journeyman. I was looking to buy a whole beef tenderloin and, by chance, found this place, not knowing what a jewel it was, along with the small town of Healdsburg. We went to pick up some meat, and ended up staying for a while to enjoy a couple of the many wineries within walking distance. The folks in Journeyman were extremely nice and the store had much to offer in the way of meats, sausages and cheeses, I felt the price was expensive but worth it considering the cut of meat was so perfect and delicious ( I could literally cut it like butta with my fork! ) and to support a local business. I made Personal Beef Wellingtons with the tenderloin and they turned out perfect! I'll definitely be going back with plans to stay longer.

Third time visiting this place and still love it so much! Store is beautifully designed, staff friendly and very helpful, food & salumi were so so delicious that we signed up for membership (quarterly shipment) during our second visit. The daily sandwich was meatball which was juicy and flavorful. Butcher's steak was perfectly cooked and the salad and garlic bread amazing like before. We took home a bunch of salumi.. of course. Favorite flavors were Saucisson sec, Calabrian, and definitely Parmasen & porcini (goes well with wine :)).
