Got some salamis after tasting some of them, all of them very delicious. The vibe of the store is amazing and I personally got really impressed by their business model. It is a nice butcher shop with wine tasting, food pairing and salamis.

We had lunch at Journeyman Meat Co yesterday and lucked out with a table even though everything in Healdsburg was fully booked due to Labor The filet mignon with salad was cooked perfectly, and the Italian sausage sandwich was so flavorful. We paired it with a Russian River Pinot Noir, which was spot on. Our server kept apologizing since it was only his second day on the job, but he was attentive and kind, and we really appreciated his effort. Great food, warm atmosphere — definitely worth a visit!

This is such a fun spot! The people who work here are super nice and friendly which added to the experience. I discovered this place when I was visiting Healdsburg for the first time, and this spot is a must!! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with salami and all the meats! There's fresh meat that you can pick out and have your steak cooked right there and eat it there which I thought was so cool! Part butcher, part restaurant!! The menu changes maybe daily or weekly? I'm not sure but what I saw in my menu was different than other pictures, so depending on the day, you make get different sandwiches offered. There's also sandwiches of the day which was a banh mi. I ended up getting a BLT and a wood fired sausage pizza & both were so good!! The bread on the BLT was a little thick or maybe too toasty, but still good. There's also sausage and other meat in the refrigerator, and pantry items for sale. I got a bag of locally made chips and found out they were $15(!!) when I was paying for them, but they were good. There are samples of different salami to try as well, I sampled while waiting for my order). The inside eating area is not too big, I took my order to go. Overall, this is a must visit when in the area!

Journeyman Meats is an absolute must-stop. The staff here is incredible; so friendly, knowledgeable, and generous with samples. Everything we tried was delicious, and we end up purchasing 3 different sausages. Gosh I wish we had a grill at our hotel because the eggnog sausage they were sampling yesterday was delicious. We are always buying something every time we’re in the area because the quality is just that good. Don’t pass this place up!

I placed an order for 14 pizzas for a holiday party - the online ordering system was easy to navigate. The service in store when I went to pick up was AMAZING. I know trying to cook and send 14 handcrafted wood-fired pizzas out the door was no small task, the team could not have been more accommodating allowing it to happen. KUDOS to the everyone, and a big THANK YOU. I will definitely be back to make some purchases.

The best stuff and steaks here! Yesterday we traveled from San Francisco to Fort Ross and got completely soaked under heavy rain. On our way back, we found this place on Google Maps. We noticed we would arrive about 30 minutes before closing, so I called them and asked if it was possible to prepare our meal close to closing time — and they said yes. Honestly, I was shocked in the best way. Their hospitality is something you don’t see often. We had the most wonderful time in a long while! Pizza — Fresh Neapolitan-style pizza from a wood-fired oven. Absolutely amazing! Steaks — Oh my Lord… I’ve never eaten anything like that. You must try it! Salami — Guys, we took four salamis home, and today I’ve already finished two. That’s how good they are! Is this the best place I’ve ever eaten? Yes! Do they deserve Michelin stars? No — they deserve something even better. They deserve YOU, guys! As for the price — for some people it might feel expensive, but honestly, for the quality of these steaks, it’s incredibly fair. Although I love the salami and the food and seating I don't have the same feeling towards service, I've had 3 of the same sandwiches, the pre-made sandwiches. The bread was so hard. It hurt my teeth so I asked if I can have a non pre-made sandwich made with the salami I want and they said, no, for $15 for a sandwich I can go get a huge bag of salami of Columbus. I thought they were so rude I just walked out. I walked out and got a great sandwich at Sheldon's. It's too bad that I will not go back after being treated so flippantly I also saw bags of bread available and there were people there that were cutting salami and no one wants your hard stale pre-made sandwiches. There's also one type of salami that I can't chew well through it is so rough and tough.That's why I wanted to choose the rest of the other ones instead and leave that 1 out.But did they care no. I've tried to eat them last time it was so horrific. I couldn't even eat the other half of my sandwich. I even told her that it was too hard for me i could barely even bite through it. They didn't care the older lady with the blonde hair. Didn't seem to have any care and it's a sandwich place. Totally completely disappointed will not go back due to attitude and disregard. She literally said I had to take the pre-made ones because they make them, because they're faster.Well, I don't care.You're a sandwich place.Don't worry , I'll just go to sheldon's and get a cheaper , better one.

It's been awhile since we came here but we wanted some of their meats to bring back home for our charcuterie board. Decided to come and get a sandwich for lunch. The menu changed from the last time we were here (years!) I saw that Italian sandwich and my husband saw the BLT. My Italian sandwich was delicious, love their deli meats. My husband's BLT was even more delicious. They have a spread that has a pretty good spice kick. The bacon was thick and the produce was so fresh. That's probably one of the best BLT I had. It wasn't too salty either. Everybody always love their cured meats at our NYE party. It's a hit. Expensive but it's the quality! We make our our sandwiches at home with it too. Super delicious .

Such a wonderful culinary discovery we discovered while walking around downtown Healdsburg area! We were welcomed in with warm greetings and offered friendly assistance too. The aromas from the orders that were being filled as we walked in were so tantalizing it was inevitable that we would be staying for lunch here. Their sandwiches were generously filled with absolutely delectable savory goodness! The cubano was nice and warm and oh so good! The Italian sub was stuffed full of delicious salami and so much more! We heard that the Italian sub is a very popular staple for many of the regulars as it is already premade and ready for takeout which we fully understand after having tried it! We also got some wine to go with our meal so we could relax and enjoy the moment and the tiny break in the wet weather that seemingly took over most of our visit. I want to go back to their shop again when we're in the area so we can bring some of their goods on a picnic or for relaxing at home with a great glass of wine. We were so happy to have found them and that we stopped in just because we were curious about what they offered when we walked by. I'm confident you'll be happy you stopped in too!

This is a boutique meat shop with different cuts of meat available to buy. There is meat ageing facility in the shop. Journeyman make wonderfully delicious salamis and other cured meat products which wax the main reason for me to stop by. Behind the counter staffs are attentive and knowledgeable and willing to help. There is food menu, ranging from sandwiches to pizza and burger. They provide wine tasting in certain hours. Property looks clean and you can see lots of locals patronizing this place which is great sign for quality of product and great customer service. Parking is street parking, it can get difficult from time to time. Shop is accessible. Noise level is moderate. There are few tables and chairs inside the shop as well as few high chairs and high tables outside for the warmer summer days. Prices are on the higher side but you pay for quality and service you receive. Happy shopping.

We went here as part of our food tour! As soon as we enter the smell of the bacon was very noticeable! The people there are friendly and accommodating! We had salami sampler and wine! Everything was good and i am not even a huge salami fan! I love the sopressata salami! We will definitely go back for sandwiches and some cold cuts! Will definitely recommend for people looking for a good authentic Italian butchery and deli meats!

This is always a wonderful place to stop in and enjoy the amazing meats and various other items for enjoyment. The staff are very friendly and sharing in their family connection to the meats. I always love to stop in to grab a charcuterie for enjoying at the beach or hotel with a nice glass of wine.

Small shop with delicious food. Ordered a pizza and the BLT and everything was so good. Whatever is in that sauce they put in the BLT is to die for. They have a few tables to sit at to enjoy your food. Service was extra friendly. Can't wait to come back to try their salumi platter.

Whenever I am in Healdsburg I ALWAYS have to make at least one trip here. Whether it's for a casual meal (their steak that you can eat there is delicious) or a snack (their charcuterie board!) or some treats to take home (their meat sticks!), all of it is worth a visit or two haha. Also, the staff there are super friendly. Tip: On our last visit we were told burgers are only served now on Thursdays and Sundays so keep that in mind.

I absolutely love this place. Their meat is high-quality and you can definitely taste it. Prices are pretty on par or even better than other places. I absolutely love the staff. They are so helpful and they are quick to get everyone taken care of. I have had their burgers there and really enjoyed it. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever eaten.

We took a small road trip and stumbled upon Journeyman Meat Company. Omg...the steak with salad and garlic bread was soooo good. I ordered it medium and it was tender and soft. Presentation was also great. We also had the sausage and pepper sandwich which was delicious. Its a little pricey but we ate everything on our plate so we feel it was worth it. It wasn't busy when we were there but there was a wait for us to get our food. Overall we were happy with our lunch and would go back.

Anything, in Napa/ Sonoma the famed Seghesio family does is wonderful! That being said I go way back to being one of their fans to the days of their flagship Seghesio Zinfandel wines and homemade sausages on a wine tasting trip at their family estate many years ago. Located on the adorable Healdsburg Square, journeyman meats is a do not miss stop to refuel for either a picnic, charcuterie for a dinner party or just to enjoy some of their delicious sandwiches with a glass of their great wines for lunch on their outdoor patio or cozy Inside seating. Their delish deli selection of meats, sausages, frozen items to take home and other delicacies, including their famous wines, including the San Lorenzo and journeyman labels is amazing. On this visit, we enjoyed a wonderful BLT and their ham and cheese sandwiches washed down with glasses of my favorite , the Journeyman Chardonnay! Service was fast and friendly and you can't go wrong with the ambience either. Oh, and of course we had to go home with some frozen sausages to enjoy later. Don't miss this little Gem!

I'm writing this in relation to the taste of the meat, the quality, the wine and the little area on the side where I like to sit. I think it's just a great spot. I've been going here for some years now but I never wrote a review. Everything is consistent, the passion for the different types of cured meats is really special, also, they have great high quality steaks and other meats. Delicious!

We love Journeyman Meat Company! Whenever we need to bring food to a house party, we pick up one of their salumi boards. They often have them pre-made and ready to go, but I like to call to be sure. Easy peasy crowd pleaser, and such pretty presentation! I recently stopped in and grabbed the Ham & Cheese special sando for my guy - it had their barrel smoked ham, brie, fig spread, and arugula in a light lemon dressing. The sando was pre-made. We refrigerated it at home and then he heated it a few hours later in the air fryer to toasted and melty cheese perfection. He LOVED it! I also grabbed a bottle of their sauvignon blanc - the perfect spring sipper! While I was in the shop, another customer was raving about "the best ham & cheese" sandwich, which is served toasted. So we'll need to try that on another visit. Cheers!

The steak salad medium rare was tender, full of flavor and the salad was a perfect combination. Service was very friendly. Small indoor and outdoor seating options. They had a phenomenal wine list. We also purchased some pepperoni and meat to go. The setting is in a perfect location.

This is the cutest little place. I have been to, in a long time. The menu is short and sweet and right to the point. We ordered the steak and it was one of the best steaks I have had in a really long time. The service was quick and easy. You cannot go wrong with whatever you get, also the BLT was really good from the bread to the bacon and everything else in between recommended and I will definitely be back. They also have a butcher shop there and you can take your meat to go and cook at home.

Wow-the Perfect Cheese Steak! Wednesday is here, and it's time for -- the Prime Cheese Steak sandwich from Journeyman Meat Company. Our friends had told us we had to try it on Wednesdays, and they were absolutely right. It was totally worth the stop. The sandwich was a perfect combination of thinly sliced, juicy steak, melted cheese, and sweet caramelized onions all tucked into a soft, fresh roll. We also enjoyed some sea salt chips, a glass of rosé, and a side salad -- all fabulous. We sat in their cozy seating area and really appreciated the welcoming, family-oriented vibe. Great service .

Support the local, family business with great friendly staff, and real simple ingredients their products. We love this place. The staff is genuine, fun, and know hospitality builds a solid customer following. Yes, we joined the salami club. Yes, we love the Rock Garden Zin. Yes, we sit and enjoy the meat board with our wine and friends. The food and staff are why we keep coming back, and recommending to our friends.

This review is for the sandwich only. The Italian sandwich was okay. The bread was as hard as a rock. I couldn't bite into it. Not sure if it was day old bread? It wasn't worth $15. The store itself is amazing. It is filled with so many delicious meats. The woman who helped us was very knowledgeable and personable. I give the store 100 stars!!! Next time I'll just skip the sandwich.

This is an awesome place for sandwiches in Healdsburg. While I didn't order their pizza, I was impressed just watching them make the dough. My Italian sub was fantastic, loaded with plenty of meats, and the tomato slice and the baby arugula were fresh. The pickle was crunchy and not overly sour. Don't forget to try their free samples of salumi

Food always excellent! Love their salami and the burgers on Thursday's ( let's just say I have not had a bad meal. Service is excellent and ambiance is fun. They have outdoor seating as well. Wine is good as well love the Pearl. A must try!! Check out there clubs a lot to choose from.

This shop is so cozy walking in. It's small but can fill a lot of people at the same time. It is great shop filled with the most scrumptious type of homemade sausages there is. There are many options to choose from but when in doubt, order the salumi board to give you a range of variations! The board was delicious! It gives you six different sausage and each had amazing flavors. The steak with salad was the star! So flavorful and juicy! I love the little salt and pepper on the side added for taste. A little goes a long way! On top of that their garlic bread topped it off. The salad itself was light and refreshing . What a great dish all around!

The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and the samples are the perfect way to experience something that otherwise you would never consider. So many choices and very competitive prices for the great quality.

We stopped by Journeyman Meat Co. for a quick, light bite, and wow, they are quick and efficient! Even with 5-7 people ordering ahead of us, we waited maybe 10 minutes tops for food. The staff was super friendly and hustling to keep up with the orders, bus tables and check in with those already dining in. We had the Pizza Verde and the Italian House Salad, and let me tell you, a little more arugula than I would have wanted in one meal, but the wife wanted to get her veggies in. But hey, it worked. (Human error, I assumed the verde pizza would come with red sauce, it did not - this did not effect my rating) Sharing the pizza and salad was the perfect amount for two people looking for something light. Next time, I'm definitely trying one of their sandwiches--every single one we saw being carried out looked incredible. The only downside is the seating area, which is pretty tight. For groups larger than two, eating in might feel a bit cramped. Otherwise, a great spot for fresh, tasty food!

I have been a salami club member for over a year. I enjoy their salami's but never been to their store. We had the Bianca white pizza with bacon, leeks and yes a farmed eggs. My husband said it was in the top 2 pizzas he has ever had. I'm not a huge egg fan but it elevated the pizza and was so good. We also had the salami platter. It was fun trying them all so I knew which ones to get . It was a little pricey but tasty. You can sample some for free in the store and then get at least a 1/4 cut for you there. We took some salami and bacon home. If you are a club member you can get 20% on packaged salami's and meats but not cut salami. We will be back.the inside is cozy and has like comfy couches. We want to try the steak and another pizza next time. Stop in to try their tasty meats and other foods.

Came here as a part of a food tour stop and I will definitely be coming back. Store has a lot of salumi options. Their brand Chardonnay was excellent. We got an assortment of salumi and loved each variety. Very cute interior.

OK seriously could this place be better. If you like meat and want to grill out your own come here and get some. Wow the display is unreal. My wife and I visited because we heard they had fresh pizza which they cook in their huge fire oven and it did not disappoint. Good wine, nice service in a really beautiful laid back place with the owner and friends serving us. Plus, many people came for meat, or their burgers and all people said they were amazing. We will be back and often for pizza and meats soon. Oh, they also hide a very good-looking salad and other items that looked great!

One of the cutest butcher shops I've been to! I loved the European style/feel indoors. I opted for ordering the Waygu beef burger - no cheese unfortunately (dietary restriction). I was the biggest fan of the rosemary bread it was served on. The Waygu beef itself was very juicy and tender - but a bit too salty for my liking. My partner was over the moon about the beef though so to each their own! They also had little salame samples which I appreciated. The staff was also very very friendly and sweet - I super appreciate a memorable hospitality experience. I'll be back!

Let's make it a day in Healdsburg ~ wine not! Highly recommend everything on their menu, can't go wrong with scrumptious pizzas, premium quality meats, tasty vino, and hearty salads. Our hostess with the mostess Linda was knowledgeable and patient. We enjoyed our visit here, it was our #2 stop for the day. Everything is made with love here. It was too hot in the summertime to sit outside, maybe next time. The space is unique, nothing like it in Healdsburg thanks to the Seghesio Family. From winemaking to salumeria, this butcher shop + tasting room is a total meat company gem. I love making it a day with friends in Healdsburg, it's centralized for many of us. This part of 707 is not pretentious like Napa wine country. Sonoma County is where it's at, almost want to keep a secret, but it's extremely hard with social media these days. I was sent to Healdsburg on a work trip, and I had never been to this city before. I found Journeyman Meat Company on Yelp and decided to grab my dinner from there that evening. Cheeseburgers are my favorite food and their menu looked pretty promising. I ordered an Estate Burger $16 which comes with bacon. The burger was juicy and delicious. The perfect size for me to finish. I took it back to my hotel room to enjoy. While I was waiting for my food to be prepared, the gentleman working there offered me a complimentary glass of wine which was nice of him. Their butchershop meats all looked fantastic too! Great place to stop for any of your meat needs!

A meat market in Healdsburg? Yup; and they have their own wines. My journey to NorCal's wine country and my experience at the Journeyman was incredible. Here is my story: Stop #2 for us four gals. Just in time for lunch and our leader prearranged: 1) a charcuterie board of Journeyman's salamis and paired with Journeyman's vintage white, pink and red wines. What a selection as the wine definitely enhanced and brought out the flavors and spices of the salami 2) this was followed by their signature pizza, artisan crust with salami, cheese oozing and gooing the covered with arugula. The pepper flavor of the arugula added to the already delicious cheese and salami (the crust was off the charts IMHO) 3) wait! I'm not done yet! We chased the above with a hoagie sandwich with cheeses and a variety of deli meats. We chased this sandwich with a nice cabernet 4) wait! I'm not done yet! slices of beef grilled to perfection served with grilled french bread and spring vegetables. A few things you should know is you should make your reservations in advance if you want a salami tasting. You can also join their Salami club which I recommend so you can enjoy their makings. They have their own selection of beef including a cut named "Zabuton". Zabuton is a japanese word meaning "soft pillow". I asked our purveryor the meaning in relation to the meat and her answer was "because the meat is soft like a pillow". Go figure and it prices out at $42 per pound If you're in the area be sure to make a stop! A definite recommend

3.5 stars but rounding up. High quality and house cured meats can be found at Journeyman Meat Company! I love charcuterie, and had to stop by when I was in the area a couple months ago. In addition to charcuterie, they also have a great selection of fresh meats available for purchase, as well as sandwiches, pizzas, and other dishes for dining in or taking out. It was busy but not crowded at 1:30pm on a Saturday. I decided to try their Sandwich of the Day: Italian Club w/Hot Coppa (Assorted Salumi, Aged White Cheddar, Spicy Aioli, Olive Tapenade, Lettuce, Tomato, $14, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=S8Pm-VeO1Bs-oQLL0Es4ew&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg), which was packed with quality and fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the charcuterie, but this sandwich had one too many different flavors going on with the aioli and tapenade. I also wished I could've ordered this sandwich with Dutch Crunch bread instead, since the heartier bread may have held up better than the soft Italian bread. I would come back if in the area to give their pizzas and other dishes a try, and hope to take some charcuterie home the next time around. Service was super fast, and my sandwich was ready in about 5 minutes. The staff were not wearing masks since the mandate was lifted, but hand sanitizer was available. They had both indoor and outdoor seating options. Parking in this area can be tough during the weekend rushes, but street parking spots are available.

wow this place is amazing. If you're in Healdsburg, this is THE place to go. Burgers, sandwiches, steak, salad, sausages, meatballs. You can't go wrong here. They also have Pliny :) Doesn't that already sound like the perfect combo? Super friendly staff and everything tastes amazing. I would come here to establish a nice base before hitting the wineries.

This place is soooo good! This place has everything! It's a butcher shop, eatery, salami spot, and wine tasting. It is small store with only a little seating inside and out side but it's a must stop spot! Staff was super friendly and were quick to help us get settled. We ordered a bottle of rose and a salami board to share. The salami board was bomb! There were 6 different types of salami and more which was enough for the 4 of us to share. Side note: all the other food coming out looked amazing! I'm going to need to go back soon and try more!

If you like meat you'll LOVE Journeyman! Super nice staff whom are very proud of the food they serve and willing to chat with you about it. They gladly offer samples of various salumi - which are sooo delicious. The ambiance is pretty cool if you want to dine-in or grab a bottle of wine and sit curbside. We'd come here on a mission - to get the Sandwich of the Day, the Italian Sandwich. Boy did this sandwich deliver!! Packed full of meats with a tasty giardiniera on fresh bread. They've got a pizza oven, so we'll need to give their pizzas a try next visit. Also, ill definitely be buying some steaks for the camp site - excellent looking cuts! Lastly, if you're doing any picnicing this is a great place to assemble a charcuterie board to-go! Happy Dining...

"Best Ham and Cheese", yup! Quality food with great service.

The food is so so, although I'm sure the meat products alone are great quality. I split the estate burger with ground bacon, which sounded really tasty. It was served pretty quickly, but the bun was almost totally cold. Small detail but it was a let down. The flavor of the rosemary bun was nice though. I couldn't taste much of the ground bacon flavor, but the burger was still pretty good. Unfortunately while the burger was delivered quickly, the pepperoni pizza that my partner ordered took much longer. I don't mind waiting 20-25 min, but then usually you'd expect the rest of the order to be served with it. Instead she just sat while my mom and I finished the burger so it wouldn't go cold. When the pizza finally came out, it was just overall lackluster (and maybe needed more salt?). For the price, I don't think it was worth it.
