My husband and I shared: - Pizza Bianco - The BEST Ham & Cheese I expected to like the pizza more and while it was delicious, the sandwich is appropriately named! It is an amazing ham & cheese. Don't pass it up! I would definitely come back to try both more pizzas and sandwiches.

This is such a fun spot! The people who work here are super nice and friendly which added to the experience. I discovered this place when I was visiting Healdsburg for the first time, and this spot is a must!! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with salami and all the meats! There's fresh meat that you can pick out and have your steak cooked right there and eat it there which I thought was so cool! Part butcher, part restaurant!! The menu changes maybe daily or weekly? I'm not sure but what I saw in my menu was different than other pictures, so depending on the day, you make get different sandwiches offered. There's also sandwiches of the day which was a banh mi. I ended up getting a BLT and a wood fired sausage pizza & both were so good!! The bread on the BLT was a little thick or maybe too toasty, but still good. There's also sausage and other meat in the refrigerator, and pantry items for sale. I got a bag of locally made chips and found out they were $15(!!) when I was paying for them, but they were good. There are samples of different salami to try as well, I sampled while waiting for my order). The inside eating area is not too big, I took my order to go. Overall, this is a must visit when in the area!

We had lunch at Journeyman Meat Co yesterday and lucked out with a table even though everything in Healdsburg was fully booked due to Labor The filet mignon with salad was cooked perfectly, and the Italian sausage sandwich was so flavorful. We paired it with a Russian River Pinot Noir, which was spot on. Our server kept apologizing since it was only his second day on the job, but he was attentive and kind, and we really appreciated his effort. Great food, warm atmosphere — definitely worth a visit!

Amazing salumi and other meat products. phenomenal wine from the San Lorenzo wine company and the most interesting thing of all is that they will cook you a steak of your choice, straight from the butcher's case

I have been coming to Journeymen Meats for years and was so excited to share the experience with my parents from out of town! They absolutely loved it! We were treated with the absolute best service by Marina & Marcos! The charcuterie board is always tasty and amazing! The service by these 2 brought our experience to the next level! I HIGHLY recommend this place, and if you’re lucky enough to get treated by these two, I’m sure your experience will be unforgettable! Woah, both the Italian and the BLT sandwiches here are out of control good. We were up in Healdsburg for 5 days and actually rearranged our schedule to be able to make it here for lunch as many days as possible. We've never had happy hour or dinner here before, but apparently you can pick any cut of meat from the display case and they'll cook it up with some sides for dinner. Can't wait to come back!

Third time visiting this place and still love it so much! Store is beautifully designed, staff friendly and very helpful, food & salumi were so so delicious that we signed up for membership (quarterly shipment) during our second visit. The daily sandwich was meatball which was juicy and flavorful. Butcher's steak was perfectly cooked and the salad and garlic bread amazing like before. We took home a bunch of salumi.. of course. Favorite flavors were Saucisson sec, Calabrian, and definitely Parmasen & porcini (goes well with wine :)).

Was tipped off to try Journeyman Meat Co. by the folks at Aldina. Owned by a Seghesio, naturally their salumi, sausages, etc go nicely with wine and I'm sure with beer. It's not a large store with the cases of meat and the counter placed into a galley type area in the front to the left with fridges of product on the right. There is a narrow seating area of mainly cushioned benches to the right when you first walk in and also some stools with high top tables and umbrellas out front. We needed a snack before we went to our next wine testing and their grilled sausages hit the spot. We had already tried their salumi which is too notch. Stop by for a snack on site or something yummy to take home.

We love Journeyman Meat Company! Whenever we need to bring food to a house party, we pick up one of their salumi boards. They often have them pre-made and ready to go, but I like to call to be sure. Easy peasy crowd pleaser, and such pretty presentation! I recently stopped in and grabbed the Ham & Cheese special sando for my guy - it had their barrel smoked ham, brie, fig spread, and arugula in a light lemon dressing. The sando was pre-made. We refrigerated it at home and then he heated it a few hours later in the air fryer to toasted and melty cheese perfection. He LOVED it! I also grabbed a bottle of their sauvignon blanc - the perfect spring sipper! While I was in the shop, another customer was raving about "the best ham & cheese" sandwich, which is served toasted. So we'll need to try that on another visit. Cheers!

This is the cutest little place. I have been to, in a long time. The menu is short and sweet and right to the point. We ordered the steak and it was one of the best steaks I have had in a really long time. The service was quick and easy. You cannot go wrong with whatever you get, also the BLT was really good from the bread to the bacon and everything else in between recommended and I will definitely be back. They also have a butcher shop there and you can take your meat to go and cook at home.

Support the local, family business with great friendly staff, and real simple ingredients their products. We love this place. The staff is genuine, fun, and know hospitality builds a solid customer following. Yes, we joined the salami club. Yes, we love the Rock Garden Zin. Yes, we sit and enjoy the meat board with our wine and friends. The food and staff are why we keep coming back, and recommending to our friends.

Wow-the Perfect Cheese Steak! Wednesday is here, and it's time for -- the Prime Cheese Steak sandwich from Journeyman Meat Company. Our friends had told us we had to try it on Wednesdays, and they were absolutely right. It was totally worth the stop. The sandwich was a perfect combination of thinly sliced, juicy steak, melted cheese, and sweet caramelized onions all tucked into a soft, fresh roll. We also enjoyed some sea salt chips, a glass of rosé, and a side salad -- all fabulous. We sat in their cozy seating area and really appreciated the welcoming, family-oriented vibe. Great service .

Saturday afternoon, we felt snacky! Stopped in for a Salami board and a pizza! The food was amazing! Great location for some high quality food! Will be back!

Food always excellent! Love their salami and the burgers on Thursday's ( let's just say I have not had a bad meal. Service is excellent and ambiance is fun. They have outdoor seating as well. Wine is good as well love the Pearl. A must try!! Check out there clubs a lot to choose from.

This is an awesome place for sandwiches in Healdsburg. While I didn't order their pizza, I was impressed just watching them make the dough. My Italian sub was fantastic, loaded with plenty of meats, and the tomato slice and the baby arugula were fresh. The pickle was crunchy and not overly sour. Don't forget to try their free samples of salumi

We stopped by Journeyman Meat Co. for a quick, light bite, and wow, they are quick and efficient! Even with 5-7 people ordering ahead of us, we waited maybe 10 minutes tops for food. The staff was super friendly and hustling to keep up with the orders, bus tables and check in with those already dining in. We had the Pizza Verde and the Italian House Salad, and let me tell you, a little more arugula than I would have wanted in one meal, but the wife wanted to get her veggies in. But hey, it worked. (Human error, I assumed the verde pizza would come with red sauce, it did not - this did not effect my rating) Sharing the pizza and salad was the perfect amount for two people looking for something light. Next time, I'm definitely trying one of their sandwiches--every single one we saw being carried out looked incredible. The only downside is the seating area, which is pretty tight. For groups larger than two, eating in might feel a bit cramped. Otherwise, a great spot for fresh, tasty food!

This review is for the sandwich only. The Italian sandwich was okay. The bread was as hard as a rock. I couldn't bite into it. Not sure if it was day old bread? It wasn't worth $15. The store itself is amazing. It is filled with so many delicious meats. The woman who helped us was very knowledgeable and personable. I give the store 100 stars!!! Next time I'll just skip the sandwich.

This shop is so cozy walking in. It's small but can fill a lot of people at the same time. It is great shop filled with the most scrumptious type of homemade sausages there is. There are many options to choose from but when in doubt, order the salumi board to give you a range of variations! The board was delicious! It gives you six different sausage and each had amazing flavors. The steak with salad was the star! So flavorful and juicy! I love the little salt and pepper on the side added for taste. A little goes a long way! On top of that their garlic bread topped it off. The salad itself was light and refreshing . What a great dish all around!

Popular-- for a reason. Excellent salumi made in-house (the Club offers additional selections). Off the charts meats to take home for your grilling thrills. Decent wines by the bottle or glass. Pizzas and sandwiches for enjoyment on- or off-premises.

As soon as you enter the store the smell of an amazing selection of meats and cheeses greets you like a great big hug. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and the samples are the perfect way to experience something that otherwise you would never consider. So many choices and very competitive prices for the great quality.

For a place so small the' r managed to squeeze in so many amazing meat options from steaks to pizza to meat sticks, sandwiches, wine, memberships... The service is fast, good and friendly. The ambiance of a meat emporium. Lots of free samples to temp you. Enjoy

I have been a salami club member for over a year. I enjoy their salami's but never been to their store. We had the Bianca white pizza with bacon, leeks and yes a farmed eggs. My husband said it was in the top 2 pizzas he has ever had. I'm not a huge egg fan but it elevated the pizza and was so good. We also had the salami platter. It was fun trying them all so I knew which ones to get . It was a little pricey but tasty. You can sample some for free in the store and then get at least a 1/4 cut for you there. We took some salami and bacon home. If you are a club member you can get 20% on packaged salami's and meats but not cut salami. We will be back.the inside is cozy and has like comfy couches. We want to try the steak and another pizza next time. Stop in to try their tasty meats and other foods.

Came here as a part of a food tour stop and I will definitely be coming back. Store has a lot of salumi options. Their brand Chardonnay was excellent. We got an assortment of salumi and loved each variety. Very cute interior.

I was sent to Healdsburg on a work trip, and I had never been to this city before. I found Journeyman Meat Company on Yelp and decided to grab my dinner from there that evening. Cheeseburgers are my favorite food and their menu looked pretty promising. I ordered an Estate Burger $16 which comes with bacon. The burger was juicy and delicious. The perfect size for me to finish. I took it back to my hotel room to enjoy. While I was waiting for my food to be prepared, the gentleman working there offered me a complimentary glass of wine which was nice of him. Their butchershop meats all looked fantastic too! Great place to stop for any of your meat needs!

OK seriously could this place be better. If you like meat and want to grill out your own come here and get some. Wow the display is unreal. My wife and I visited because we heard they had fresh pizza which they cook in their huge fire oven and it did not disappoint. Good wine, nice service in a really beautiful laid back place with the owner and friends serving us. Plus, many people came for meat, or their burgers and all people said they were amazing. We will be back and often for pizza and meats soon. Oh, they also hide a very good-looking salad and other items that looked great!

One of the cutest butcher shops I've been to! I loved the European style/feel indoors. I opted for ordering the Waygu beef burger - no cheese unfortunately (dietary restriction). I was the biggest fan of the rosemary bread it was served on. The Waygu beef itself was very juicy and tender - but a bit too salty for my liking. My partner was over the moon about the beef though so to each their own! They also had little salame samples which I appreciated. The staff was also very very friendly and sweet - I super appreciate a memorable hospitality experience. I'll be back!

Let's make it a day in Healdsburg ~ wine not! Highly recommend everything on their menu, can't go wrong with scrumptious pizzas, premium quality meats, tasty vino, and hearty salads. Our hostess with the mostess Linda was knowledgeable and patient. We enjoyed our visit here, it was our #2 stop for the day. Everything is made with love here. It was too hot in the summertime to sit outside, maybe next time. The space is unique, nothing like it in Healdsburg thanks to the Seghesio Family. From winemaking to salumeria, this butcher shop + tasting room is a total meat company gem. I love making it a day with friends in Healdsburg, it's centralized for many of us. This part of 707 is not pretentious like Napa wine country. Sonoma County is where it's at, almost want to keep a secret, but it's extremely hard with social media these days. We have been coming to Journeyman Meat company numerous times through the years. We have their Thomahawk and Ptrime ribeye steaks which were cooked to perfection. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The wine selection is superb especially their Zinfandel. Looking forward to our next visit from San Francisco.

A meat market in Healdsburg? Yup; and they have their own wines. My journey to NorCal's wine country and my experience at the Journeyman was incredible. Here is my story: Stop #2 for us four gals. Just in time for lunch and our leader prearranged: 1) a charcuterie board of Journeyman's salamis and paired with Journeyman's vintage white, pink and red wines. What a selection as the wine definitely enhanced and brought out the flavors and spices of the salami 2) this was followed by their signature pizza, artisan crust with salami, cheese oozing and gooing the covered with arugula. The pepper flavor of the arugula added to the already delicious cheese and salami (the crust was off the charts IMHO) 3) wait! I'm not done yet! We chased the above with a hoagie sandwich with cheeses and a variety of deli meats. We chased this sandwich with a nice cabernet 4) wait! I'm not done yet! slices of beef grilled to perfection served with grilled french bread and spring vegetables. A few things you should know is you should make your reservations in advance if you want a salami tasting. You can also join their Salami club which I recommend so you can enjoy their makings. They have their own selection of beef including a cut named "Zabuton". Zabuton is a japanese word meaning "soft pillow". I asked our purveryor the meaning in relation to the meat and her answer was "because the meat is soft like a pillow". Go figure and it prices out at $42 per pound If you're in the area be sure to make a stop! A definite recommend

In addition to charcuterie, they also have a great selection of fresh meats available for purchase, as well as sandwiches, pizzas, and other dishes for dining in or taking out. It was busy but not crowded at 1:30pm on a Saturday. I decided to try their Sandwich of the Day: Italian Club w/Hot Coppa (Assorted Salumi, Aged White Cheddar, Spicy Aioli, Olive Tapenade, Lettuce, Tomato, $14, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=S8Pm-VeO1Bs-oQLL0Es4ew&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg), which was packed with quality and fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the charcuterie, but this sandwich had one too many different flavors going on with the aioli and tapenade. I also wished I could've ordered this sandwich with Dutch Crunch bread instead, since the heartier bread may have held up better than the soft Italian bread. I would come back if in the area to give their pizzas and other dishes a try, and hope to take some charcuterie home the next time around. Service was super fast, and my sandwich was ready in about 5 minutes. The staff were not wearing masks since the mandate was lifted, but hand sanitizer was available. They had both indoor and outdoor seating options. Parking in this area can be tough during the weekend rushes, but street parking spots are available.

wow this place is amazing. If you're in Healdsburg, this is THE place to go. Burgers, sandwiches, steak, salad, sausages, meatballs. You can't go wrong here. They also have Pliny :) Doesn't that already sound like the perfect combo? Super friendly staff and everything tastes amazing. I would come here to establish a nice base before hitting the wineries.

I like to go to Journeyman and enjoy the array of salamis. Cured and made locally, the salami is a destination location. It's crowded on the weekends an a lot of fun to stand at the side and take in the activities.

This place is soooo good! This place has everything! It's a butcher shop, eatery, salami spot, and wine tasting. It is small store with only a little seating inside and out side but it's a must stop spot! Staff was super friendly and were quick to help us get settled. We ordered a bottle of rose and a salami board to share. The salami board was bomb! There were 6 different types of salami and more which was enough for the 4 of us to share. Side note: all the other food coming out looked amazing! I'm going to need to go back soon and try more!

If you like meat you'll LOVE Journeyman! Super nice staff whom are very proud of the food they serve and willing to chat with you about it. They gladly offer samples of various salumi - which are sooo delicious. The ambiance is pretty cool if you want to dine-in or grab a bottle of wine and sit curbside. We'd come here on a mission - to get the Sandwich of the Day, the Italian Sandwich. Boy did this sandwich deliver!! Packed full of meats with a tasty giardiniera on fresh bread. They've got a pizza oven, so we'll need to give their pizzas a try next visit. Also, ill definitely be buying some steaks for the camp site - excellent looking cuts! Lastly, if you're doing any picnicing this is a great place to assemble a charcuterie board to-go! Happy Dining...

The food is so so, although I'm sure the meat products alone are great quality. I split the estate burger with ground bacon, which sounded really tasty. It was served pretty quickly, but the bun was almost totally cold. Small detail but it was a let down. The flavor of the rosemary bun was nice though. I couldn't taste much of the ground bacon flavor, but the burger was still pretty good. Unfortunately while the burger was delivered quickly, the pepperoni pizza that my partner ordered took much longer. I don't mind waiting 20-25 min, but then usually you'd expect the rest of the order to be served with it. Instead she just sat while my mom and I finished the burger so it wouldn't go cold. When the pizza finally came out, it was just overall lackluster (and maybe needed more salt?). For the price, I don't think it was worth it.

My friend and I went for lunch before we did a little wine tasting at spicy vines up the street. The food here was absolutely excellent. We were referred to the journeyman by a friend that had been there before and I must say the burger was delicious and the roasted vegetables superb! He will not be disappointed if you happen to stop by at this cute little deli/ cafe/ meat shop. Bon appetit!

Great products overall. I really like all of their charcuterie, bacons, and the wines I have tried. I highly recommend. An fyi their products are not cheap, but you are getting great quality. I joined their salami club and i have been happy

Ordered the ham & cheese sandwich, and the Bianca pizza for takeout. Both were tasty! Only 'complaint' is that it's expensive & the pizza was a little on the colder side. I will be coming back to try some other items that looked good on their small menu.

Stopped in for burgers and salads. Verdict: Best damn burger in Northern California. Well of course as it has ground bacon mixed in with the top quality beef. Cooked to order, perfectly. Bread bun excellent as well. Mixed green salad is quite respectable, too. Highly recommended!

Great place. The house made sausages are terrific. So many to list I'll let the reader experience for themselves. Good sandwiches and top quality meat. Bacon is some of the best I've had. Just go there buy some of their sausages and then take in some tasting rooms and your day will be complete

New Monday hours - cafe closed but open for ready made items + drinks. Grabbed a sandwich to line my stomach pre-wine tasting. They have a limited menu Mondays, so the cold Italian sandwich was the only option. It's good, but mostly bread - which worked for my pre-tasting purposes, but was a little disappointing coming from the meat company. Recommend going on the weekend or when their kitchen is open and hot meals are available.

This is THE PLACE! Absolutely fantastic food and products. I've now dined with you about a half dozen times. Your actual store/restaurant is well laid out, comfortable and relaxing. I left Healdsburg with a sufficient amount of your food products, however I'm sure they will be gone in a week. Thank you and your delightful wait staff. See you soon.

Great place to stop by for lunch--cozy atmosphere and very friendly service and, of course, great food! Note that if you're a large group it might be better to take food to go as there's really only 1 table for a group of 4 inside (the rest are better for 1-2 people). We had the sausage sandwich (DIVINE!), blt, roasted veggies, and sausage pizza. All yummy. Loved that the sandwiches came with little cornichons. We also bought a bunch of sausages to take home. Will definitely return if we're ever in the area!

Will. Never. Eat. The Burger. There. Again. What happened??And 20 minutes to get it when it was not busy in the least? I felt dissed. Still love their salumi though.
