Joy Hill - Review - Platt Park - Denver - The Infatuation

"Joy Hill may look a bit like an artisanal Pizza Hut, but you aren’t there for the atmosphere. You’re there for the knockout, wood-fired sourdough pies. That’s because if you, like us, are in constant pursuit of exceptional crust, your journey will inevitably lead you to Joy Hill. Naturally leavened and leopard-like with charred bubbles, the tang and texture are so perfect that you could eat the crust plain. But you won’t do that because that’s weird—not to mention the toppings are pretty special, too, like fire-roasted sweet corn, local bison chorizo, pickled jalapeño, and creamy burrata. Sit at the divey bar up front or on the rooftop patio to avoid the whole ’90s pizza chain vibe." - Allyson Reedy

Denver’s Best Pizza Restaurants | Eater Denver

"Despite the unfortunate timing of its grand opening just before the pandemic, the arrival of this homage to the fern bars of the 1970s on South Broadway’s Antique Row proved auspicious thanks to the kitchen’s earnest craft. The organic dough undergoes a natural two-day fermentation to yield a crust that’s paper-thin yet somehow sturdy on bottom, chewy at the edges, and tangy all over, while the topping combos are as flavorful as they are thoughtful (not to mention veggie-centric). Must-tries include the Hunter with bison chorizo, cheddar, green-chile ranch dressing, pickled jalapeños, and cilantro as well as the That 70’s Pie with three cheeses (including feta), arugula pesto, baby kale, roasted golden beets, and red onion." - Paul Albani-Burgio

Where to Eat and Drink on a Denver Rooftop | Eater Denver

"One of Denver’s top pizzerias is also one of its best bets for rooftop relaxation. Come for the sourdough pies and snappy drinks from the smartly curated bar; stay for the glow that suffuses the partially covered patio, strung with lights and dotted with potted plants, as the sun sets over the mountains." - Eater Staff

Excellent pizza with high quality ingredients. The sour dough crust is so delicious and there are traditional to very unique toppings. The pepperoni rolls were one of the best things I have eaten in a while. The cocktail menu had some unique cocktails. I have been working my way through Denver's top pizza list and this is at the top of my list! There is also a great patio.

Google
We love going to joy hill. Everything on the menu is amazing, specifically the Chili’s and Pep pizza is great. We also got the mushroom sally and the Hunter - both were well worth it. My husband and I also got their frozè and I was happy to see that they increased the portion. About 6 months ago when we were coming in the bartender filled the glass up maybe a quarter of the way which just wasn’t worth the price.

Google
First of all, the pizza is some of the best in Denver. Tons of great topping choices, vegan options, and delicious apps and creative drinks. But after our last visit, we definitely have a special connection to this place. My fiancee and I shot our engagement photos here a couple months ago (the inside is so cozy and the ambiance/atmosphere is immaculate), and not only were the staff incredibly accommodating of our shoot, but they reached out to us afterward to congratulate us on our engagement, which was so thoughtful! We ended up going back on a date night, and they recognized us and greeted us with the most kind, friendly service I've ever received at a restaurant. Truly blown away by the level of care everyone brings to their jobs here. If you want an incredible meal while being surrounded by exceptionally kind people, this is your spot! We'll definitely be back!

Google
Get the 70’s pie and Elote pizza and it is a must to sit on the patio in the evening! The beet salad is also a must try, great vibe and staff. If you like pizza and beer you must go here.

Joy Hill is a must! It's our go-to for delicious pizza in a great, warm and welcoming setting. Great drinks, friendly service and staff, down to earth. Super awesome patio. 10 out of 10.

Google
We hosted our wedding reception at Joy Hill and could not have had a better experience. The communication, food, drink, staff, atmosphere - everything was INCREDIBLE! Julia and Brittany were so easy to communicate with and were clear, honest and above and beyond helpful! We had so much fun at felt at ease with all the background work done for us at this wonderful place. Our guests were raving about the food and drink and all of the staff there were so kind and helpful. I can not say enough phenomenal things - the only thing is that we want to do it AGAIN! Highly recommend hosting your event at Joy Hill if possible and/or grabbing food/drink there whenever possible. We are so grateful for this spot - THANK YOU!

Google
Visiting Joy Hill on Galentine’s Day was an absolute delight! I made a reservation in advance, and Brittany, the GM, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She secured great seating for us (though, honestly, every spot in this cozy atmosphere is fantastic), pre-selected our wine, and even made sure my partner’s flowers were beautifully placed on the table before our arrival. As we walked in, everything was set up perfectly, bringing a huge smile to my partner’s face. Our server, Rachel, greeted us with warmth and a welcoming attitude, providing exceptional service throughout the evening. She was attentive without being intrusive—our water glasses stayed full, our wine glasses never empty, and she made sure we had everything we needed to truly enjoy our meal. We ordered the arugula Caesar salad (one as a vegan option), bison meatballs, Tuscan tomato soup, and the Mushroom Sally pizza to share. Each dish arrived fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor—everything was truly exceptional. We never felt rushed or overlooked, and the extra touches throughout the night made the experience even more special. To top it off, multiple staff members checked in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves, which added to the warm and inviting atmosphere. Thank you, Joy Hill & Team, for your incredible hospitality and for making our evening so memorable. We felt the LOVE!

Yelp
I love this place - the food is great, service is fast and the place is huge. They have fun seasonal drinks and always have specials so you can truly get something different every time. It also feels a bit festively decorated for the holidays which is charming. For food we got: Burrata and carrots - 10/10 amazing, Broadway salad to make us feel better about the carbs we were going to consume, garlic bread, then the spicy pepperoni / hot honey pizza, mushroom, and margarita -- by far the crowd favorite was the spicy pizza (not pictured). Each pie is 6 pieces so perfect for sharing. Wish I had room for dessert because the tiramisu looked amazing.

Yelp
This was such a great find on a hot day when we needed an impromptu lunch in an unfamiliar area after some thrift shopping. We found this place on Yelp (of course) and got a table right away on a Saturday around 1:30 PM. We ordered a pitcher of sangria and a pepperoni pizza to share. The service and staff were fantastic, and both the sangria and pizza were noteworthy. As a self-professed pizza snob and aficionado, I can confidently say this was excellent pizza. The crust was just right--not too thick, not too thin. The sauce was flavorful, the cheese was high-quality, and the pepperoni was perfect. We're already looking forward to going back! The interior had a slight throwback pub feel, which we loved. That might sound unusual for a pizza joint in the city, but it created a charming and cozy setting. They also have outdoor seating, which was being used for a private party, but it looked like a fun spot too.

Yelp
Great pizza. But the literal worst bar chairs from the 70's that are so uncomfortable you can't wait to eat and run out of there.... Clearly the owner or manager does not sit in those chairs. I mean the black pleather straight back chairs and also no foot rail on the bar.... combined makes for the worse dinning experience ever.... I mean really? Helllooooooo spend some money and make your guests comfortable who might stay longerrrrrrr and spend more moneyyyyyy Pizza is good though so there's that.

Yelp
Best pizza in Denver, in my opinion. Great rooftop views. Decent location. Great service. If you want an artisan pizza that is consistently great, this is the spot. It's perfect for a date night, or a friends nights out. My only consistent complaint is that it can be super loud, so it's been a challenging spot to bring my parents, as they are older and need something a bit quieter, but it's a great meal. I continue to come back timE and time again.

Yelp
This is a nice spot to sit up on their roof on a nice day. A group of us went on Friday at 4 and I didn't have any issue finding parking. The happy hour drinks were good and I loved my corn pizza. They add a 20% gratuity (at least for our group) plus a 3% living wage fee which seems excessive. They wouldn't separate the checks for us though

Yelp
My new fave Denver pizza spot. I'm a simple person ~ cheese pizza with mushrooms. Heaven. The perfect amout of everything. Lil bowl of flavorful olives. Bottle of house red and a margarita pizza for my plus one.

Yelp
This is a very cozy and high-quality pizza spot. And the staff is always top level. The arugula Caesar salad is vegan, but you wouldn't know it. It's fantastic and so good that I get it every time. They use heirloom wheat for the crust; you can tell a difference. They have staple pizzas like Margherita and regular cheese. As well as more elaborate ones like prosciutto and burrata. They also have specials--things like pepperoni with broccolini and a vodka sauce. Great place all the way around.

Yelp
Excellent Neapolitan style pizza with really delicious topping combinations. This spot can get busy so order early or be prepared to wait. Parking is limited as it is on Broadway.

Yelp
Was such a fun place for happy hour!! I went with two friends and we got some drinks and some apps to share! We sat outside and it had such a good vibe. The service was great too- we got there right before happy hour ended and our server made sure to get our happy hour order in before it stopped. We got bison meatballs which were so juicy and delicious, the zaatar and feta flatbread, and the burrata, and all of them were so good!! The focaccia bread was warm and fresh. Will definitely go back and get pizzas next time too because they looked and smelled amazing!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great pizza, fresh ingredients, crispy, and delicate crust! Love coming here in the summer and sitting in the back patio and drinking their delicious drinks and enjoying some pizza.

Yelp
Delicious interesting pizzas, with great crowded ambiance, outdoor seating and an incredible view of the mountains. Our server was also really helpful with the menu and helped us pick three pizzas and two apps that complemented each other well.

Yelp
The pizza was amazing ! We had the Elote and the Chilis N Pep. They also have homemade sodas, which were also good. We had the ginger and the passion fruit. Inside is really nicely decorated. We sat outside and had an amazing view of the mountains. Customer service was good. It was busy, but the staff was attentive and friendly.

Yelp
Adorable restaurant, great place to go out. Pizza is good! Service is friendly, parking can be tricky on south Broadway.

Yelp
Everything was awesome ! Sat on patio .nice views . Isa was not just another waiter he was an entertainer ! Loved it . We ordered mushroom pizza and veg one . The garlic bread was completely different elevated ! The Caprese with house made mozzarella is unforgettable.

Yelp
I visited Joy Hill for an early Saturday lunch and we were the first table. The service was wonderful! We enjoyed the flatbread special that was extremely flavorful. For pizza, we ordered the Chili's n Pep with no pepperoni on half. The honey was delicious but I wish there was more! The vibes were great even with a mostly empty restaurant. I'd love to come back for a dinner or a patio meal!

Yelp
I'd say my real review would be more of a 4.5 but only full stars on Yelp. We were craving some pizza the other night and found this on a list of best pizza places in the area. The downstairs decor is very cute and chic - loved the couch areas and light fixtures. We were seated upstairs near the kitchen area. We started with the house salad and went with the vegan caesar dressing - the salad itself was very good, though the dressing was pretty bland. Wish we had gone with another one. But all the ingredients tasted fresh and were a really nice blend. We then ordered a margherita pizza as that's one of our favorite styles. The pizza was very good - cooked well, tomato sauce and cheese flavors were great, along with the texture of the crust. We wished the pizzas came in different sizes though - they're all 12" and we would have really preferred a 16". That being said, we ended up ordering a 2nd pizza - just a regular cheese pizza. This one wasn't quite as good - not bad, but just wasn't quite as good as the margherita. Took half of that one home (again, one 16" pie would have done the trick). Our server was very friendly and came to check on us several times. Shout out to the guy at the table next to us watching a football game on his phone the entire time he was eating, while his wife pretty much took care of the kids. Dude, just stay home! :|

Yelp
We really enjoyed our happy hour here! Grabbed a prickly pear mule and spicy margarita- both were delicious and refreshing on a warm summer afternoon. We got the happy hour Margherita pizza and The Hunter. The sauce on the margh was so incredibly fresh, we still have not stopped talking about it. I did get an extra side of the green Chile ranch to dip crust in for the hunter and would highly recommend. So happy with our choices! Friendly and attentive staff. The outdoor patio out back was super nice, however we were situated as such that as the sun began to set, the sun was right in our eyes but hard to anticipate. Don't get me wrong, happy to have taken in the last bit of warm summer sun and being able to enjoy a patio! Cheers!

Yelp
Awesome spot on south broadway, they don't really have parking but it's easy to find something on the street. We had mushroom pizza and the hummus and veggies. Hummus was super creamy and came with some really fresh bread. Pizza had some unique mushrooms and a garlic sauce. The dough is thin and crispy! So good! Also have an awesome patio in back and it is decorated like your hip grandmas house
google avatar

Yelp
Had a GREAT meal here on their rooftop. Over beautiful mountain views, we had their garlic bread (super cheesy), a margarita, and the 70's pie. Everything was delicious, but the 70's pie was special. Our server was nice enough, but not anything to write home about. The hostess, however, was visibly unhappy that we had kids, which perturbed me. My sister-in-law had a stroller she was trying to maneuver in and out of their elevator and the hostess just looked at her. She seemed utterly annoyed that there were (adorable and well-behaved) toddlers. She tried to sit us in full sun, too, despite their being many tables and us having had a reservation. We'll definitely go back, but for the food--not for the hospitality.

Yelp
Usually a big fan of this place but I have to say...as much as I didn't want to be...I was pretty disappointed this time around A couple notes: The pizza rolls still had raw dough in the middle, I took it apart to make sure it wasn't cheese and it was definitely raw dough The white sauce pizza wasn't great in flavor and was pretty floppy but the flavor may just be personal opinion The chili Pep pizza was amazing as usual The tiramisu was great Something that really threw me off though was that they charged us extra for a side of pickled jalapeños and extra for a side of ranch...which is totally fine IF it's mentioned and IF it's consistent. (Last time we did not get charged for asking for extra ranch and marinara). Also with the root beer float...we wish they mentioned that it was with root beer ice cream instead of vanilla because we wouldn't have ordered it. Overall we would still probably come back because of the other times that the food was great but it's definitely not holding the #1 pizza spot for me anymore.

Yelp
Great looking spot to chill on a date or with friends. I love the interior design. Service was attentive and the drinks were good. The Prosciutto and Burrata pizza was very tasty and had fresh ingredients. Overall I would definitely come again and give some other items a try!

Yelp
We had some really fun drinks, good service, great food, and great atmosphere. We try to hit this place a lot but it is so good that it gets booked quick.

Yelp
This is a go to spot for us for happy hour, the back patio is awesome and the service is always good! I will say the charcuterie board had been lacking lately but still recommend this spot!
google avatar

Yelp
Quick service, decent food and happy hour! Lots of families with young children. Got the margarita pizza and garlic bread, bison meatballs were dense and a bit dry but ambiance was cozy and comfy!

Di L.

Yelp
We came for happy hour and sat on on the rooftop patio. It was raining out but we were fully covered and got to enjoy the Mountain View's and ambiance. We ordered: Burata with heirloom tomatoes caprese-, 3/5 rating, the size was unimpressive, nothing to write home about but appetizing. Margarita pizza - 4/5 rating, it came out piping hot and tomatoes had a nice zest. Loved the random crunch of salty bites and the chewy crust. Chai Old Fashioned - 2.5/5 rating, had better had worse Spicy Margarita - 3/5 rating, not spicy only tajin. Capelletti Spritz - 4/5 rating, nice change from traditional aperol or campari Ambiance/atmosphere- 4/5 rating Service - got sat immediately. Food and drinks arrived promptly. Service was good! Parking can be difficult on Broadway, park a block west for easier access

Yelp
What a great place to dine and drink! Definitely recommend! We came to Joy Hill to enjoy happy hour and got the Feta flatbread, the tomato soup, and 2 margarita pizzas. The flatbread came with a great hummus and cucumbers. Tomato soup was nothing to write home about but enjoyed nonetheless. The pizza though- so great! We enjoy a slightly charred crust and the delicious ingredients. The pizza size was definitely individual sized so make sure you get enough to keep you full. Overall, a GREAT happy hour and next time we'll try their other pizzas. To drink, we got Chai old fashioned and the seasonal margarita. Drinks were great for a great HH price. The vibes inside strike you as casual, hip, and fun. But they have cozy seats for groups and would be great for any occasion.

Yelp
Excellent pizza and a gorgeous atmosphere! We came here with my family on New Year's Eve during the day. There was no wait to be seated. The staff are all super friendly, especially our waiter. We started with the pepperoni pizza rolls, I have to say those were the best things on the menu. Then we had the chili and kept pepperoni pizza as well as the mushroom pizza. Everything tasted so delicious! I can't wait to come back in the warmer months and sit out on the patio because the views of the mountains are amazing! this restaurant is so thoughtfully designed, cozy, and perfect for our lunch with family.

Yelp
We have passed this place so many times and never realized it was there. We randomly stopped in one day and we were not disappointed. We loved the inside of the restaurant, it looked tiny from the outside but was actually pretty big. We especially loved the rooftop patio it was a perfect spot on a warm spring day. Service was great, there was no wait and they staff were all welcoming and friendly. Food came out super fast and our sever was very attentive. We ordered the elote pizza which we had never seen before but it sounded delicious. We were very pleased with our decision it was a great pizza especially the sourdough crust, I'm not a crust person but I ate every last piece of that pizza. We ordered the meatballs for our son and he loved those, there isn't a huge selection of toddler options especially ones with a dairy allergy but that's okay we made it work. We will for sure be making another trip to try some more delicious pizza. If you want a cool pizza spot with an awesome patio Joy Hill is a must try!

Yelp
Ambiance: cozy atmosphere, with a very cool deck that would be great in the summertime. Service: Isa was attentive and helpful. Food: this is the best reason to come here. We were very impressed with the roasted carrots and burrata, especially the included focaccia bread. We had an everything veggie pizza, but turned it into an "almost everything veggie" by adding local bison sausage. Well-made pizza with a really good crust. I had a glass of the house ginger beer. This nonalcoholic drink was delicious. My companions each enjoyed a glass of wine from a reasonably extensive list. Downsides: parking is pretty tight on South Broadway in this area. We parked about a block and a half away. I thought prices were a little on the high side, although my companions thought they were reasonable given the quality.
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
My favorite pizza in Denver. The service is always friendly, the food is always great and between the patio out back and the fireplace inside it has some of the best ambience in Denver!

Yelp
Cue Andy Grammer's "Joy" Track... because once you go dine on Joy Hill's patio you will be singing... "Got me like Yeah Yeah Yeah, Oh Oh Ooh, I found JOY in my life!" (accompanied by a snazzy saxophone and funky beat) Okay, now I know that was an elaborate opener. Let's break it down... Appetizer: BURRATA & ROASTED CARROTS I'd order this appetizer again. It's just the right size for 2 - 4 people! Salads: BEET & FETA SALAD and ARUGULA CAESAR I only tried the Arugula Caesar. It was not your typical caesar, but I enjoyed it. My husband who tried both enjoyed the Beet & Feta Salad more. He said the house vinaigrette was brighter than the almond caesar dressing. Pizzas: CHILIS N PEP and MUSHROOM SALLY I'd say the tables favorite was the Chilis n Pep! They were each magically delicious, though. The most impressive part of these pizzas were the crust. It may have been the best tasting sourdough crust in town! Service: SUPER SOLID The service worked together like a well-balanced quartet to make sure every table was enjoying their night. We were helped by Jen for the majority of the time, but other staff members would drop off drinks and food items. Everyone was very friendly, professional and attentive while also being laid back and inviting. It was a very comfortable night of service. Ambiance: VERY COOL I think Joy Hill's back patio is one of the coolest dining places in Denver. On clear days, it has a phenomenal view of the mountain range that will make out of towners understand why you live in the mile high city. Go experience some JOY on the patio with a slice or two!

Yelp
Came here on a recommendation from a friend. I'm investigating more and more businesses on Broadway and have been hitting only amazing places so far. Joy Hill is not an exception. This place was so cozy, even the heated patio was great despite the crowd. We didn't feel like we were stuffed in the patio at all and the heater was wonderful in this winter weather. With the prices being what they were, we ordered 1 pizza and 1 app for two people. My friend ordered her own pizza only. We tried the jalapeno pepperoni pizza with honey and the Bison Meatballs with blue focaccia. I believe all pizzas can be made GF or Vegan Cheese can be used. And they're all thin crust. The smell of the savory pepperoni and sweet honey was wafting to our table when our pizza arrived. This combo is always a winner in our household. We absolutely loved it. The pizzas were cut with 6 pieces so it was so easy to split. And with the bison meatball appetizer pushed us to be fully satisfied by the end of the night. I loved the focaccia and the tomato sauce. The bison meatballs were also so tasty and lean. Our two dishes came out to about $45 after tax and tip. I think this is a perfect place for apps and a light dinner get together. Definitely share with everyone at the table so you can try everything because you'll love it all.

Yelp
Joy hill is a wonderful place for pizza and a delicious salad! The back patio is amazing and a great place to watch a sunset. Only feedback is the food varies from time to time but it is still always delicious.
google avatar

Trish A.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas we've had! Will definitely be returning with the family! We sat on the patio, it had a nice ambiance and was comfortable. They do have heaters. The lounge was also nice. A place you could sit and enjoy a pizza and drink. The main dining room needs updating. The only area handicapped accessible was the lounge. They have an elevator to the bathrooms in the basement. The bathrooms could also use an update. The mirrors were fake, need replaced with real mirrors.
google avatar

Emma J.

Yelp
I would personally rank this restaurant 3.5, but everyone else I was with said 4-4.5, so 4 it is. The best part about this place is the space and ambience. There is ample space inside and an awesome outdoor patio that has both a covered/shaded and open/sunny section. They also have misters going which is a plus for the summer. We ordered the blueberry mule, Pilsner, prosciutto & burrata pizza, and Margherita pizza. Both pizzas were split between two people and a good size. The blueberry mule was kind of a letdown, because it was definitely lacking blueberry flavor. I also felt the same about the prosciutto & burrata pizza, it was fine, but the flavors were pretty dull? All I really could taste was the burrata. I didn't try the Margherita pizza but those that did said it was good, but very saucy.
google avatar

Abbey L.

Yelp
Food great, ambiance on the outdoor patio/ rooftop great, service great! Definitely will be back! I loved the golden beets in the salad, very flavorful and decent salad portion for the price. The pizza was also very tasty. Perfect amount for two people!
google avatar

Yelp
This is my new favorite place to get pizza in Denver. The sourdough pizza crust is delicious and goes well with all of their speciality pizzas.
google avatar

Makaylah S.

Yelp
The pizza was so good! We came in during happy hour and got the $10 Margherita pizza, as well as a white pizza. Overall the ingredient's tasted fresh, and I love the sourdough with their tomato sauce. My only issue was the pricing for the portion size to be honest. Service was decent considering how busy it got.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were lucky enough to get a spot on the patio which I highly recommend- great atmosphere, even better views. Our server greeted us and he was super friendly and attentive. We started off with a pitch of the kombucha sangria which was delicious and so refreshing. We had a table of 5 and ordered garlic bread and the beet salad to start, and then two pizzas for the main course. The garlic bread was cheesy and delicious. The beet salad was so refreshing and we were fans of the golden beets and chickpeas in the salad. For pizzas, we went with the prosciutto and burrata and the Mushroom Sally. The burrata was so so good and the arugula on that pizza was a nice addition to add some green to the pizza. The mushroom sally was phenomenal. I love white pizza and the mushrooms were so flavorful and added a wonderful depth of flavor. I would highly recommend Joy Hill (especially a spot on their patio) to anyone. I can't wait to come back to enjoy some of the other pizzas on their menu!

Yelp
Date night perfection! Typical for me, see pizza on instagram, need it - this was the case w Joy Hill and we did a little date night to check it out. It was a Friday evening so we made a reservation for the roof top and were sat quickly upon our arrival. Place is adorable!! Homey, retro, approachable, healthy plants, and nods to nostalgia make up the cozy, yet spacious vibe. Friendly and welcoming all around. Christina, our server was awesome. It was a busy night w a gorgeous sunset. We enjoyed bison meatballs, pepperoni rolls, and a burrata and greens pizza. Frozés too! Spread the word, this little gem is a go-to for a great time and scrumptious pizza!!

Lynn V.

Yelp
I had a coupon from Local Deck and enjoyed food, ambiance. Parking is a little tricky but overall great experience, will return.

Yelp
The pizza here was really good and the menu has so many other things I'm excited to come back and try. We sat on the rooftop and there were beautiful views of the mountain and sunset. The prosciutto and burrata pizza was a bit soggy, but overall that and the margharita pizza was great!

Kyle K.

Yelp
Wow! Just wow! Joy Hill has some of the best pizza I've ever had and rivals the top rated pizza places I've been to in NYC. The Chili's N Pep rendered me speechless the Buratta & Roasted Carrots appetizer was amazing. Their house made sourdough made the perfect crust and was crisp to perfection, their house pulled mozzarella paired wonderfully with the tomato sauce, and the pickled jalapenos were incredibly flavorful without being overly spicy. The environment was fun and hip with unique seating options that would be fun for larger groups and the views of the mountains off their sback balcony were astounding. The service was amazing. I never had a drink run out before our server acknowledged me, his recommendations were spot on, our food came out quickly, and we were checked out in a timely, but not rushing you out, manner. I would recommend a reservation if you're showing up for dinner.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience last night during happy hour on the patio - yummy food and drinks, attentive service, and the patio is great for families! My 3yo was ecstatic that we could watch the light rail and locomotives zoom by.

Yelp
We ordered pick-up online and since it said it would take 80 minutes, we called to see if we could place an order over the phone (you can't). We got a weird answer as to when it would be ready but they quoted us less than 80 minutes. All together it took even longer than that. Pizza itself was underwhelming. The cheese they use overpowers the toppings. It would be better if they used a simple mozzarella. I liked the creativity of the pizza selection they offer but I didn't get much flavor beyond the cheese, it was intense. Will not be visiting again and would not recommend.

Yelp
Such a cool spot. The patio wall full but we were able to be seated inside which has beautiful seating and decor. We started with the meatballs (pretty good, but the star goes to the homemade faccocia it's served with). I had the arugula Caesar salad (delicious!) and we split the Chilis N Pep pizza. That was great too, though the bottom of the crust seemed underbaked (soft and floppy).

Yelp
Joy Hill has the cutest patio with such a beautiful view. They also have inside seating. I went for happy hour (on a Saturday?!) and got some great deals !! The staff was very friendly as well. Definitely plan on going back!

Yelp
Great food, cocktails and drinks. The chilis n pepa was everyone's favorite. The hunter and the mushroom pizza were also great! The Fig Ginny cocktails were my favorite thing at this restaurant. I put this place in Denver's top 10 pizza spots.

Yelp
Super yummy pizza. The breadsticks were great. The ranch is A++. I had the elote pizza which was the bomb. This is my favorite type of pizza and this is the only place in Denver I've been able to find it. My only gripe is that I wish they gave you a pizza spatula. It was super annoying having to cut and finesse my pizza slice to my plate with a butter knife.
