Joyce's Barbecue and Hot Chicken

The food the service was amazing. The chicken was fried to perfection. The turnip greens were good. Seasoned a little bit spice to them. Macaroni and cheese was chefs kiss the owner stated that his mother is the one who makes the mac & cheese. It was good the hot chicken we got a mild and it had some cake to it, but it the chicken was just literally still juicy in and tender, and had that Nashville seasoning on it. It was really really good. The ribs was so good. We only got three bones and we wish we’ve got a whole slab like when I tell you fall off the bone the meat just fell off.

Nice little spot off Clarksville Pike that serves rib tips and hot chicken. Met the owner also and she was very nice. The taste of everything was fresh and seasoned well. The rib tips were good just need to be cut a little smaller- Windy City 👩🏾 here. The wings were very good and seasoned well. They have a nice rum cake and good sweet/ peach tea that tastes freshly made. I’ll definitely be back!

Omgggg!! We were visiting from Detroit in the summer and someone recommended this spot. Knowing that Nasville was famous for their bbq we were eager to try it! It was amazing!!! My entire family including our 5yo grandchild enjoyed!!! We all had different items! Ribs, chicken baked beans, mac n cheese, cobbler, and a few more! Every last dish was delish!! So much so that we had to bring some home. The owner was kind enough to allow us to pick up some food to fly back home with and he vacuum sealed it for us so we weren't embarrassed on the plane! It was so good I was willing to face embarrassment though! Lol when Ai heated my portion up in the microwave after we returned home it sent the most delicious scent through my house and every time I used the mic several times after I could still smell the food! we have discussed many days jumping in the car and driving 7 hours just for this place!!! Thank you! We appreciate the pack up and will be back!!!!

Traveling all the way from St. Louis to Nashville to enjoy my 55th birthday and I got to say I love chicken. I love barbecue. The food was fire 🔥💯...... I think they trying to get me to move down here 🤔❤️.... And one more thing, me and my wife shared this meal and we left half of it because it was that good and we got full.... Time to go to sleep

Perfect crispy wings from the Wing Queen. Get the hot! Reggie on the smoker with the tender ribs. Mom makes the best mac n cheese. Family owned for generations. Real Southern hospitality and amazing food. Don't go anywhere else, get the real shit at Joyce's Barbecue and Hot Chicken

The hot chicken is the real deal, way better than Hattie B’s and not all greasy like Prince’s. Right up there with Bolton’s in my opinion. Also the ribs are delicious and the fries are 2. My wife and son agree with this rating as well. Check em out you won’t be disappointed!

The BEST Hot Chicken, so crispy and juicy, flavor is unreal. I haven’t had any better. Was passing though today and decided to stop and eat here. Great decision. They breaded and fried the Chicken to order, Hot Oil was made on the spot. This is the real stuff. People are friendly and I will definitely be back.

This is the coolest little BBQ. SMOKIN HOT juicy chicken spot I e been to while living in Nashville for about 21 yrs.. It’s located in a prime location which brings lots of foot traffic . Go ahead and call ahead your order .. these boys just about make it fresh so you may have to sit and listens to them heckle each other and their momma giving orders for a while .. which I didn’t mind .. They all family and that’s pretty priceless !! Good Luck Guys!!
