It's been a few years since I left a review for this business so I decided to update my review from before. Juamoto is the place to go for raw vegan food in the Charlotte/Concord area. Customer service, check, Food, even better than it was (and i don't know how that's possible), Vibe check. My daughter is not a raw vegan fan and she loved the raw cheesecake. Also the wrap he made me was so good and filling. I was able to have it for lunch, dinner and still have a little bit left over. Well worth the money. And honestly, you know a good raw vegan restaurant when the owner is glowing and gorgeous. If you go to a raw vegan restaurant and the owner has bad skin and a bad attitude? yeah, don't eat there.

I got one of the wraps and it was bursting with flavor and was very filling; I was able to make two meals out of it! The raw cheesecake was amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had!

See i’m a very alkaline vegan connoisseur and this restaurant hits the spot every time I come in. Always greeted with respect from the owner Tau and his Tribe and the vibe and mood is always right. They make the best Raw vegan wraps I ever tasted so far and every time I eat from here, I feel the life from the food instantly. Their food alone can help cleanse and rejuvenate the body and they also sell herbs which is pretty convenient. This restaurant is definitely 100% about bringing healing foods to the community and I’m all for it. It’s definitely worth to check this place out. I recommend their specialty raw olela pizza because I was honestly shocked on how good it tasted and it taste just like a normal pizza but with healthier fresher ingredients. And their raw Jamaican patties are super amazing and i mean out of this world. And i recommend all the wraps cause u really can’t go wrong with any of them cause they know how to flavor with perfection with all their food. Excellent RAW vegan food in the Charlotte area. The raw vegetables did not skip out on flavor, my personal favorite was the Sunfried and Sunkale wrap. Your nutritional needs are meet with the wraps and you definitely feel full after eating the wrap. I normally order two and take one for lunch the next day. Positive experience trying raw vegan food.

This place is absolutely amazing! The food is vegan and completely satisfying, the service and atmosphere are top notch! It's a place you can have great conversation or read a book if you wanted. Serious Sage is my favorite. Sea moss smoothie is yummy and I've never been disappointed by the random specials. (Can dine in and take out. Brunch/lunch hours. Check hours on Google and specials on social media.) Serious Sage is the big tomato basil wrap, the lettuce boat is Seeds of the Earth and the one that looks like sushi was the special.

The smoothies were amazing. And the wraps were so flavorful and complex..I done even understand how plant based food can have that much flavor. The Chef was delightful and very helpful. The restaurant is very small, but has a great vibe. I will be going to Juamoto again!

First time visiting last week and it was so good ! I love how the kale is massaged with the sauce and spices. The nut meat add on is totally worth it. You think raw and kale and most people run, but he knows how to make kale taste amazing. This place is truly healthy, not just labeled healthy. The owner was so chill and easy to talk with too.

I was so excited to had found a vegan restaurant close to where I lived. I ordered a wrap with spinach. Plus, cheesecake for desert. I was anticipating demolishing the food once I arrived home. Assuming that it was going to be great. Oh, how wrong my assumption was! The wrap had tons of kale and not the spinach that I had ordered. The kale had a crunchy consistency, where there was dirt from not being washed. The cheesecake, which I was really looking forward to eating. When I opened the container, I couldn't even recognize what it was, and it tasted so bad. With the price that I paid for the food. Plus, leaving a tip as well. I really thought that I was going to enjoy everything. I wanted to be able to post a great review with tantalizing pictures of great looking food attached. It's unfortunate I had to do the opposite. I had to throw away the food, and prepare a meal. It's also unfortunately that I will not be eating at this restaurant again...

Amazing fresh ingredients!. I could eat here everyday if I lived closer to downtown. The wraps are delicious. Owners are very nice. Always really quick to take an order and make everything right. Love the inside look and how comfy the inside is for sharing company during lunch. Thank you for always making my meal superb!

The place is a hidden gem in downtown Concord. The food is always fresh and delicious! The service is top notch as soon as you walk in you're greeted. The ambiance is a nice vibe. Raw vegan wraps, salads and a lot more. The portions are great. I normally get the Sunfired Wrap All the way and it never disappoints. They over specials throughout the week as well, like pizza and it's delicious!

When I arrived for lunch, I was the only customer and they had only one item on the menu. After 10 minutes another customer (clearly a regular) arrived and ordered the same item (how could they not?) and the owner/chef had to be reminded by staff that I was first and still waiting to get my single wrap. After another 10 minutes, I got my food and departed. As much as I did not like the service, the food was easily BEYOND my expectations. Expect slow service and great food.

This restaurant has a very nice vibe. Before you even walk in you can smell the incense, and it's such a pleasant space. The young men working there are very pleasant and friendly, and knowledgeable about their products. My friend and I came here on a Sunday for lunch, and had the special-- the alkaline karbon ra wrap, the sun fired wrap and the Sirius sage wrap. Let me tell you-- all of those options were delicious!!! The alkaline karbon ra wrap was very similar to a sushi roll and whatever they seasoned it with May have had me fooled! Delicious. I will say, the Sirius wrap is large enough potentially to share. To finish, we had the coconut mango pie-- a perfect dessert that is not sugar forward, very refreshing. I will absolutely return. They occasionally have other events such as poetry readings, etc. also.

What can I say! Kale wraps made with love. Experience the taste of fresh herbs and spices on some fresh kale wrapped with love. Service is A1 Juamoto is a unique place that's one of a kind that's minutes from where I live in Charlotte that's worth the trip every time. Thanks for being here!

The food here is mind opening. Everything is so fresh and delicious! I had the SunKale Wrap and it was beyond words. It didn't leave me feeling sluggish afterwards and you can definitely taste the Love in their food . The people there are so kind and patient explaining everything to us and the shop itself is beautiful and full of light. Awesome experience!

Delicious healthful smoothies, looking forward to trying out the whole menu. Great service as well.

I'm not vegan. The owner and staff were very patient and took time educating me about the various options to ensure my satisfaction. To my surprise, the wrap recommended was spot on and very satisfying. I was tickled no hunger for hours from eating veggies. :)
