23 Affordable Restaurants in Las Vegas for a Cheap Meal

"A small chain with three locations in or around Las Vegas, Juan’s offers its namesake fajitas priced for one person, two people, or three people at dinner, with a smorgasbord of protein and side options. The real deals are at lunch, though, when fajitas cost $15 or less, and three-item lunch platters run for $19. Heartier mains like pollo asado and pork chile verde are $13.50 and $14, respectively." - Janna Karel

Well here it goes. This is my second time coming to this restaurant but at the first time I didn’t get a chance to do a review this place is so awesome. The prices are great. The food is good. The service is good. I want to send a shout out to Saul, our waiter for checking up on us and making sure we were OK. We had a good time. The atmosphere was good. The restaurant was clean and the service was impeccable. We had a very good time here and I would definitely recommend and come back again.

Google
This is a neighborhood restaurant that came up on my fyp to try out. The restaurant decor is beautiful and festive! So happy for the algorithm…the service was great and I truly enjoyed the food! I would definitely recommend the fajitas..they were so good!! The soup was delicious even the chips and salsa was amazing. The one disappointment was the churros, they were undercooked and doughy. However the ice cream was delicious! Overall the I highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
The wife and I went for Cinco De Mayo 2025! It was an amazing atmosphere, staff were friendly and were always there when we needed them. We got the Steak Fajitas with a Raspberry Margarita. It was all worth the $40! 10/10 would visit again

Google
I love this place. The food was amazing! From the chips and salsa with the soup appetizer - to the main course - were incredible. Their fried ice cream was the cherry on top of a perfect meal. Large portion sizes and giant drinks. The staff was very kind and attentive. Wait times for our food was pretty quick. I would HIGHLY recommend making a reservation before coming. This place can get quite busy.

Google

Google
Hands down, the best in Las Vegas. We have been here twice. First time was lunch and second for dinner. We were well satisfied both times. The food comes out hot and is very good. Tortillas are fresh and everything is packed with flavor. The service is impeccable. They are very attentive. Truly very good staff. Never saw any of the staff not pulling their share of the work The restaurant was very clean and they made sure to keep it clean as they went.

Google
They were extremely busy but it didn't affect the quality of the food. The service was probably a little slower, but it wasn't a problem. The flaming fajitas were delicious 😋

Yelp
Service was great as always, from the greeters to the servers, they are very attentive. I had the chile verde and albondigas soup both very delicious and also other dishes that were great too. Restaurant is nice and clean. Every year I'm in Vegas for 2 months and we make it a point to visit several times while we're there.

Yelp
Coming here feels like you are visiting a traditional Latino household, where the grandmas continue to bring you food and they host you very well!! I've been to many restaurants, some that charge a ton for a plate, but NONE compare to the customer service this place offers! EVERYONE, from the greeter, the waiter, the bus boys, the cleaning people, and all the staff have exceptional customer service! They are so attentive from beginning to end!! Karen was our waiter today and she was AWESOME! She attended us very well, always making sure we had what we needed on our table and refilled our drinks as needed. The food is great! I tried their Quesabirria and I think that's what I'll order every time I come back! Today was Father's Day, they had live music. A man was walking around singing songs and he sounded great! I'm not sure if they have him there all the time or just for special occasions like today. My family and I love this place' we will return soon! **I love that they have a reservation policy. This allows for families to not have to wait so long for a seat !

Yelp
I ordered catering from Juan's on Saturday for pick up at 11:30. Everything was perfect. I ordered : Chx and steak fajitas which came with a big pan of rice and beans. Pico, a tub of sour cream, corn and flour tortillas and salsa roja and chips. I did add 2 pints of their salsa verde (my favorite). Also included plates and plasticware and serving spoons and tongs. Everything was delicious! The staff was so pleasant and accommodating. I will definitely use Juan's again for my party catering needs!!!

Yelp
I have been here about 6 times, when they first opened, they were nowhere near as good as the flagship, but after a few years..they have now arrived!!! Every bit as good as the Henderson location with amazing staff. Today we went for lunch..did not want to eat big so we ordered off the lunch menu...choose one item combo for 12 dollars! A steal! Our waiter brought some chips and salsa with beans...that is always amazing and then took our order...I got the beef tamale with green sauce, refried beans and rice and hub got his favorite gringo enchilada with ground beef covered in white queso with refried beans and rice. Absolutely they knocked it out of the park! I love this place!!! We were seated in the bar area today for the first time and it was a very inviting space with lively Mexican music in the background. Juan's is not just for dinner only anymore....

Yelp
Juan's was great! I didn't have high expectations walking in with multiple locations available. We walked in and were seated immediately. They offered bean dip, red, and green salsa. All were delicious. We had a multitude of different items from enchiladas to molitos all were delicious. You can tell this is the real deal. The meat in all of them were delicious. We will definitely be back and this may be the new staple. The restaurant felt so homey. The decor was welcoming and made you feel like you were in a piece of Mexico.

Yelp
Juan's Flaming Fajitas was not even on my radar, and I'm so glad my family recommended we go there. It's a lively and yummy Mexican restaurant where their specialty is a flaming platter of fajitas, tableside. But of course, I don't always order the things that are most popular when I go somewhere. I just kinda order what I feel like in the moment. And I'm not a huge fajita person for whatever reason, even though in theory, I should like everything about fajitas. What I do really like is cheese though, so we ordered the Queso Fundido. Delish! We also were brought some tasty tortilla chips to start some yummy salsa delicious refried beans. We were also given a small cup of sopa de fideo. They make their own corn and flour tortillas and I thought they're very good. After reflecting on the flames I saw at a nearby table and the sizzling meat smell, and then reading some reviews about the fajitas, I realize that I probably should've ordered the fajitas lol. Oh well, next time. My stepdad ordered the Chicharrones plate and I had a combination plate with chile relleño and a chicken flauta. These dishes were all good, my least favorite was the chile. The texture wasn't ideal but it tasted fine. I wouldn't order that again here. However the pork was very tasty. Made up for it. Flauta had a flat shape I'm not used to, but had a good texture and taste. We also had some happy hour cocktails - I had the skinny margarita. I liked it, light and refreshing. My mom had the sangria and then I finished it, and my stepdad had a Negro Modelo, which is my favorite Mexican beer. All in all, good times were had and the food was delicious. The service was really on point and everything came out fast. I would recommend this spot and definitely come back here.

Yelp
I visited Juan's Flaming Fajitas for Cinco de Mayo, and the energy was awesome! We made reservations ahead of time, so we didn't have to wait to get a table. The Mariachis were performing all around the restaurant, which added to the vibe for the holiday. The food was great--no complaints at all. My flour tortillas were perfection! Our server was great and very attentive (I forgot to get his name). The only downside was the parking lot. It was total chaos. A bunch of spaces had "no parking" signs, and I really think they should've worked something out with the nearby businesses to cover those signs just for the holiday. Parking was really a madhouse and the takeout window made parking worse bc they were blocking the traffic while running to the outside window. Overall, I will definitely be back for the food!

Yelp
This restaurant isn't too far of a drive from where we are currently staying. The outside has plenty of parking spaces, and a cute little pillar for photo opps! Inside is nicely decorated in Mexican heritage and super cute and festive! Really looked like we were in Mexico! Lol The service is awesome, everyone literally kept up with table touches and they sat us early, regardless of not having the full party there! Food is tasty, very filling, and the portions are about average. The prices are okay too, but some items on the menu were questionable in terms of pricing. The michelada Mondays are terrible! Watered down, spicy, and just not that good lol!' Would I come here again, sure. Is it the best Mexican food, definitely not, BUT keep in mind I'm a ca native and I'm spoiled with authentic and affordable Mexican food! lol

Yelp
Having eaten at all three Juan's restaurants, I had my best dining experience on my last occasion here. Fresh Guacamole made to my order and prepared tableside with freshly cooked warm Tortilla Chips was exactly right as the perfect starter, along with a complimentary warm and smooth Bean Dip and two salsas. And, once again the Flaming Fajitas were the best I have experienced. I even succeeded in photographing my entree in flaming mode. This time I had Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas for One with added Mushrooms and Tomato slices. The shrimps were plump and juicy, and the chicken looked and tasted like it had been carved from an original roast rather than pressed meat that often results in white cubes. The Fideo Soup was hot and a nice inclusion. Extra chips and more Coke Zero were offered without me having to ask for same. A second Bean Dip was placed on the table unbidden for more dunking of Tortilla Chips after the first mostly ran out. Diane was satisfied with her Shrimp Quesadilla. Cooked Bell Peppers and White Onions, along with Pico de Gallo, a bit of sour cream, and some more Guac blended beautifully with the proteins, mushrooms, and tomatoes in the Fajitas, and I received two more Flour Tortillas on request. I finished four fajita-filled tortillas at the restaurant, and brought home one more for an enjoyable and filling lunch at home the next day. Prices are reasonable, and there is no nickel and diming here. The restaurant's ambiance hearkened memories of images of Old Mexico; table seating was comfortable; and service by Briseida and assistant servers was quick and responsive. I look forward to dining here again fairly soon.

Yelp
Last minute decision to go to this location since I was up in the northwest. It was packed for a Wednesday but it should be as the food is always great! I've been a customer at the original location on Tropicana since I lived in the southwest for over 20 years. Always enjoy Juan's! I sat at the bar and had chips and salsa, a pomegranate margarita and shrimp ceviche. Chips and salsa are always so fresh. My cocktail was great, never had a pomegranate margarita before and it was yummy! The ceviche hit the spot. So hearty! It's a great bar area and Karen and Cassie were so great and kind bartenders. It's a smoother flow of set up at the bar too which was cool. Looking forward to visiting again!

Yelp
Amazing Salsa After a short round of paper rock scissors with my best friend we ended up a Juan's Flaming Fajitas. The service was very friendly and the ticket time for our food was quick. The chicken fajitas are large in portion size but lack flavor. The chicken was bland and the peppers didn't help enhance the flavor. The salsa however both red and green were packed with flavor and even had a kick of spice. The rice was dry and the black beans were bland as well.

Yelp
A great night of celebrating a family anniversary. The service was good on a busy night. Our table of seven had 3 different flaming fajitas. 1 chicken, 1 vegetable, and one pork. There was just enough room on the table for everyone's fixings for their fajitas. Our table also polished off the two baskets of chips. With three different types of salsa and bean dip everyone had what they needed. My niece had a chimichamga which she finished with no hesitation. My nephew polished off his chicken quesadilla but said it was a little greasy. My sister and bro shared the pork fajitas and there was still plenty leftover. Everyone else was too full for dessert but my niece and I made room for the fried cream covered in corn flakes, whip cream, carmel, and chocolate syrup. It was sweet and crunchy. Our favorite part of the meal we all ended with walking past the two amazing women making all of the delicious freshly made tortillas.

Yelp
This is the best Mexican food restaurant in Vegas in my opinion. The food is always fresh and consistent. The service is always attentive and speedy. Food is fairly priced for the portions. They offer a daily happy hour with 1/2 off appetizers. They also have daily specials. Restaurant is clean.

Yelp
People always talk about Juan's Flaming Fajitas and how good it is so I finally decide to give it a go. Came during the week and it was still very busy. If coming on a weekend I recommend making resos or just be prepared to wait. I went with the steak and shrimp skewers fajitas, with the Alambre Style as an add on. With a side of guacamole. The fajitas were super flavorful and tasty. The cheese on top was perfectly melted. The bacon bits and chorizo added much more flavor to each bite. Over all a great choice if you decide to check it out

Yelp
I came here to grab some food and it was during happy hour. I had two of the skinny margaritas. These are my favorite because they are less sweet and made with fresh juice. For dinner I had chicken and shrimp fajitas. They were pretty good and the price was just right. I split the queso with my buddy and my bill was only $48. Thats some solid value there. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. Overall it was a great dining experience.

Yelp
This was my first time to this location. We stopped by for a late lunch Sunday. Our server was great. Good was very good. The restaurant is very clean and we will definitely go back. See my pics

Yelp
5 stars for Juan's Flaming Fajitas in North Las Vegas. This location is near us and it's great that we don't have to drive across town like we used to. Great service for a large and busy restaurant, but they take reservations. The fajitas are delicious and they will be flaming; your server will ask you if you're ready for the show before they light them up in case you want to take photos. Los of other Mexican food on the menu, too, if you don't feel like having fajitas.
google avatar

Avner M.

Yelp
I've been to this location twice now and both times my experience has been amazing. The food is consistently always spot on. I had the fajitas, chicken and beef with all the sides and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our server, he was amazing, always making sure our drinks were full and making sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance, it's a crowded place, business is steady but it's worth the wait. I recommend this location or any other in town.
google avatar

Yelp
We tried the brunch! Great value for the portions! Your entree comes with a drink! I had the breakfast taco. I would have preferred it to be more simple, so may just try eggs and bacon w tortillas next time! But food was hot, fresh and yummy per usual and a great value!

Yelp
Made a reservation for lunch and were seated quickly. The waitress was nice and prompt. I ordered a flight of beers (3), they served us complimentary warm chips, red salsa, green salsa, and creamy bean dip, all was good. I got the southwest salad which for me was huge and was able to take half of it home. It was fresh and delicious. My spouse had the Guadalajara Special (scallops, shrimp, and steak), rice and beans, and soup. It was really good but the shrimp was a little tough. All staff were very friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
Took 40 minutes just to take our order.. supposedly there was "miscommunication" .. then there was a hair in the sopa de fideo annnd in my son's food.. manager offered to give us a discount for the next time we went, there will be no next time! Never going back.. this was on Father's Day mind you, it wasn't even busy

Yelp
First time here. Service was great! We were a large group without reservations and they still sat us in a timely manner. I ordered the quesabirria (forgot to take a picture) and it did not disappoint. It was so good!!

Yelp
Service was great, food and drinks were good and everybody was polite and friendly. Enjoyed the live music and ambiance as well.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Juan's flaming fajitas, and I'll tell you food and service did not disappoint. Food was delicious, reasonably price and service was great. Good ambiance, good service, good food, everything was great and delicious!

Yelp
One of our favorite spots in town! Love the steak fajitas and their frozen margaritas are perfect! Lunch is a good value, which is when I prefer to go as it's less busy. Always friendly service and the mood is authentic! Clean and somewhat cozy. Love this place. In my opinion, don't go anywhere else in town for Mexican food. This is it.
google avatar

Ron M.

Yelp
Well here we go again. We had a chance to visit this place once more and explore the menu. I had a combo of tamale and crispy beef taco while the wife had a bowl of pozole. The food is consistently good, but more importantly is the wait staff. Every time I turned around they were there, asking if we needed anything or just filling my water glass. I look forward to perusing the menu, good food and good service. Just sayin.
google avatar

Daniel T.

Yelp
It's not bad enough to be a 4.0. This should be a 4.5. But to say it's a 5 would be an exaggeration. The food, service and atmosphere is all a good but isn't gonna blow you away.

Craig B.

Yelp
Simply the best Mexican food in Vegas. Consistently good. Great margaritas, service and a cool vibe.
google avatar

Sean T.

Yelp
What an amazing time! My wife, my mother in law and sister in law went out for dinner! When I tell you the absolute best Mexican food in Las Vegas! I had the Fajitas Fries with Shrimp & carne asada!! The cheese melted to perfection! Carne asada fries are a staple in Las Vegas and they have the best hands down! I also had the strawberry margaritas on the rocks and baby!!! It was made from the margarita heavens! My sister in law had the bean and cheese burrito and she loved it. My wife and mother in law had the combination plate and they threw down! The atmosphere was amazing, the servers were great! They were all on point! A true staple in North Las Vegas and I'm thankful it's here!

Justin N Kristen S.

Yelp
I can't say enough about this place. My wife and I are here every Friday for our lunch dates. First, the service we receive from Karen and Jesse from in the bar area is the main reason we return. They always know what we want and when we want it, but don't let that take away from the food. We get Fajitas, steak and chicken. The flavor that they have are amazing. The salsa...on another level!!! Then, you have homemade, fresh flour tortillas, steaming hot. Always asking for more of those :) The vibe is traditional Mexicano that's make us feel as if we're in Playa del Carmen. Look nowhere else for a sit down Mexican cuisine experience in Las Vegas. This. Is. It.
google avatar

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance... Great prices, especially when there are specials or happy hour

Yelp
Yummy. I fill up on the free bean dip and then have plenty to take home for the next day.

Yelp
Our first time there to celebrate our daughters 21st Birthday. Everyone was amazing, food. & drinks - delicious Will definitely be back and recommend

Yelp
Every time I come here the food gets better . The ambiance is always lively and welcoming and the happy hour drinks are delicious.

Sharon G.

Yelp
The best Tex Mex food we have found in Vegas. Go after 7:30 PM unless you enjoy screaming kids an ad earsplitting noise level. The food is worth the agony or maybe you don't want to talk to your table mates ? Their house Margaritas are fine .

Mike R.

Yelp
Family of four went out to Juan's and had dinner. The margaritas were great. The food was good.
google avatar

Darlene C.

Yelp
This is our second time sitting at the bar. Everyone was welcoming around the bar. We had Gracie and Camilo attending us and they were lovely. We will come back and visit again as this is a place where other restaurants throughout Vegas has the same consistent menu and great flavor. The ambience is good, the food is delightful, and the staff is always nice.
google avatar

Yelp
The steak and shrimp fajitas are amazing! I love to smother them with the jack cheese! The fresh made flour tortillas are super yummy!
google avatar

Rhina M.

Yelp
The food was good! The fajitas were so flavorful. The menudo was ok. My expectations were high but the menudo didn't the cut. I love the salsa and the fresh tortillas. The service was awesome and the ambiance is clean! We'll be back for more fajitas
google avatar

Yelp
Jaun's was amazing! Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was so delicious and their fried ice cream is phenomenal! Decent prices. I recommend making a reservation prior, as this place can get pretty busy. Parking can be tight depending on day and time. The place is spacious and well decorated.

Yelp
The food was great the waiter was awesome you will probably have to wait a while but it is worth it

Yelp
me and my mom went on sunday for a quick brunch, and it was great! this is my first time here at the north west location and it's right across the street from one of my fav sushi spots sushi tachi. it's kinda hidden but def worth it. the pozole was really good but it could've used more pork! that's how my suegra makes it. sooo good. we had steak fajitas as well, and those were pretty good. kinda standard for their main dish you know. idk im not a big steak fan. the sangria was so good though, i'm a wine lover but only sweet and sparkling ones. lol...

Nathaniel S.

Yelp
First of all we came on Father's Day so it was busy inside, parking lot was packed. We had a reservation for 1:15 and walked in at least five minutes early. We were immediately seated, so we're initially ecstatic about having the reservation time respected ! We were seated at a table perfect for us.... staff was amazing and The food was amazing. I absolutely will come back. I had driven past this place many times without realizing it was there, but I highly recommend for multiple reasons.!!!!

Yelp
A huge shout out to Customer Service Heros ~ Daniel, Isabel and Angela. I had made a reservation online through Yelp and it only gave me the option of guest up to 6 and I needed 7. And I was not able to request a table due to handicap and large people in the group. So we arrived little early but they were ready for us (with a booth). After I explained that the group was for 7 and that we needed a table Isabel stepped up and very calmly reassured me that they would get me our group sitted as soon as possible. The restaurant was very busy. And yes, I was stressing. It wasn't to long before Angela and Isabel made it happen. And then we got the BEST waiter in the house!! Daniel was perfect! Oh! And I was there with my family celebrating my 69 th birthday! What a Wonder memory they have created for me. The food was Great and well.

Yelp
Food was excellent with free chips and selection of salsas. Some of the best service around. Very efficient and friendly. Great fajita presentation which lives up to its name. Will be back.

Yelp
10 out of 10, here is why: Called in an order for a large to-go pick up and it could not have gone any smoother on this busy early Saturday evening. After placing our order, we were told (surprisingly) it would take about twenty minutes for it to be ready and we would be texted the progress. Sure enough we received text messages. The popularity of this location in North LV is impressive. On the website you can make reservations and as an aside, on one occasion, we arrived much earlier than our reservation and they accommodated us rather than putting us on the walk in list. Back to last night large order (about a dozen entrees). The parking lot is definitely very busy but luckily we grabbed a spot close to the front as someone was leaving. You can see a handful of groups waiting outside which told me they must already be busy inside. Which they were. I saw the hostess and she gestured me to the pick up and cashier counter where I paid for our order and it was communicated to me that they would go over my order to make sure I had everything. Which the young man (Christopher) did. I appreciated his courtesy and friendly demeanor. Christopher pulled out every entree, soup, chips and tortillas and salsa/bean dip, etc etc to ensure my order was complete. It was. Not only was our order complete, the food was delicious! The restaurant is called "Juan Flaming Fajitas" so it behooves anyone who comes here to order the Fajitas, so delicious! I don't know for sure but the tortillas (both corn and flour) look to be fresh made! Busy restaurant, delicious food and excellent service - this couldn't be a better place to spend our hard earned dollars for a family meal!

M F.

Yelp
We love it here! It is a happy place with great music. The staff is kind and always have great service. The food is delicious. Every time we come or pick up food for home. We love coming here for family gatherings.

Yelp
Amazing spot. Been a few times now and can see why it's usually full. Big tables make for large groups to eat comfortably. Seen a lot of celebrations each time I went. Staff were pretty friendly and service was good considering all the guests. Fajita dishes are tasty and filling, even for a group of 3-4. Tho having tried the combo plates, I'd say not to pass if one catches your eye. Worth the visit once or twice for just the experience alone.
