"Less than two years after its successful expansion to Henderson’s Water Street, I see locals' favorite Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina is planning a third Mexican restaurant and sports bar in Aliante. Permits show it will be a built-from-scratch 6,792-square-foot building behind the Nevada State Bank with a 2,450-square-foot main dining room, a 650-square-foot indoor patio, and a 533-square-foot separate cantina space proposed to host five gaming machines on the bar top. Larger than both its Henderson site and the seven-year-old Spring Valley original on Tropicana Avenue, the family-friendly restaurant will serve lunch, dinner, and a weekend brunch, offering a lengthy menu highlighted by flaming fajitas, chile rellenos, enchiladas de mole, sopas, ensaladas, table-side guacamole, Baja-style fish tacos, and a generous collection of margaritas, mojitos, and tequilas; once approved, I wouldn't expect a debut until late in the year." - Bradley Martin
