Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina

I absolutely love Mexican food! If Yelp gave an award for most reviewed Mexican food establishments, I think that I would make the top 25 on the list. Therefore, I was ecstatic when my wife shared with me that we were going to meet our family on her side for lunch at Juan's Flaming Fajitas and Cantina. Aside from being a Mexican restaurant, I was also impressed with their 1K plus - 4.5 star rating! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly employee who ushered us to our family of 10 whom were already seated. After browsing the plethora of options on the menu, I opted to order the Chimichanga with grilled chicken and green sauce. If I was in the mood to drink, I would have ordered a margarita. However, I can say that I enjoyed the few sips of my wife's Cadillac Margarita! While waiting for our food to arrive, the servers assisting our table did a great job of checking in on us. Less than 20 minutes later, our orders were being delivered to the table. Although there were many options, I was very pleased with my order. Not only was it flavorful, but it was a generous portion size...which is a rarity being that a lot of restaurants are cutting portion sizes to save expenses. By the looks on the faces of our family members, I could tell that they enjoyed their orders as well. I did observe a nearby table having the flaming (literally) fajitas delivered to their table and thought, "maybe I should have ordered that!" However, that provides me with the perfect justification to make a return visit next time my wife and I are in North Las Vegas!

This is an excellent restaurant in N Las Vegas. The food is amazing (and of course the flaming fajitas). The staff, wow! Exceptional! I’ve never been to a place that has such an amazing staff. I had the fajitas, my son had a chimichanga, and his wife had tacos. All delicious.

We ordered New Mexico enchiladas and Guadalajara special. Started with complimentary chips with two kinds of salsa and creamy refried beans to dip. Next was the Fideo soup, which was fantastic. The entrees were both cooked to perfection with outstanding sauces. For dessert we had sopapillas with ice cream and strawberries. My wife loved the Cadillac margaritas and my beer was the perfect drink to have with the meal. $90.00 before tip and worth every penny, service was extraordinary. We will be back. We returned and brought some out of town guests. It was even better than the first time. The shrimp fajitas, birria tacos, and carnitas were great, but i could eat the fideo with every meal! Everyone loved the fideo. The young lady Susie, who was our server made the meal even better, she is a class act. We were all a bit smitten when talking to her. Every member of the staff was kind and professional. Next month my in laws are coming to town , and i cant wait to take them here.

The service was spot on. Our server was Marcos and he did an excellent job with the table side guac. Gracie, the bar back, stopped by a couple of times to make sure all was good, as well. My wife and I ordered the fajitas for 2 and it came with sour cream, cheese, pinto or refried beans, and pico. Don't forget to get the deep fried ice cream for dessert.

This is my favorite place to eat when visiting Las Vegas. The fajitas are so good! Their desserts are amazing as well. We loved the staff who are so welcoming and make you feel like you are a special visitor to their home. ❤️ I can't say enough great things about this place.

10/10 and then some! Everything about the experience is something to recommend. The server Jaciel was polite, prompt and accommodating! My family and I were visiting Vegas and so glad we decided to try this place out. The food portions were generous and the drinks were made with the perfect touch of alcohol to mixer. If you like good food and service then this is the place to go!

Best JFF in the valley. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and very attentive! Best service I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Big thanks to Daniel and Miguel who really went above and beyond. As always, the food was delicious!! No matter which location you go to the food is top notch and the portions are generous. But the service here at the northwest location is what makes them the best in the valley!! Thank you for making this a great birthday my mom!! We will be back!!

Well here it goes. This is my second time coming to this restaurant but at the first time I didn’t get a chance to do a review this place is so awesome. The prices are great. The food is good. The service is good. I want to send a shout out to Saul, our waiter for checking up on us and making sure we were OK. We had a good time. The atmosphere was good. The restaurant was clean and the service was impeccable. We had a very good time here and I would definitely recommend and come back again.

Second attempt! Let's see how this goes. Came here last night no wait but right after we got our margarita flight and put in our food order we had an emergency and had to leave. But here we are again! Absolutely hate that we can't reserve a table when there is a 45 minute wait. Especially since we don't live around the corner. So we ordered the steak and chicken fajitas for 2. Comes with rice and beans, soup and all the condiments. Of course chips and salsas and bean dip. It's easy to get full on the chips and dips. Food was good. Love the flames! In the bar area it's pretty plain like most bar areas. Easy to hide in the bar area because it's separated from the regular dining area. But overall it's just as you expect lots of Mexican decor. The food was great! I'll be back!

I was not planning on reviewing this for dinner...as I go to this establishment a lot! In here to say that one of the best servers in this restaurant made our meal amazing and memorable!! Huge shout out to Miguel who gave us amazing service on Sunday Dec 28!!! This guy is a keeper and I will ask for him anytime he works....what a gem!!!

I love this place. I decided it was the perfect place to celebrate taco Tuesday with my in-laws while we were visiting. I think I turned them into regulars. Everyone is SUPER nice. The space is big and even with a party of 6 we didn't have to wait the week of Thanksgiving. I love that they start you off with chips, salsa, and bean dip. We decided to do the fajitas for 3, which could easily feed more than 3, so beware. You will not leave hungry! They really do flambé them table side, it's not just a name, so be prepared for the show if you order them. They come will a side of all the fixings, guacamole, pico, sour cream, tortillas, rice, and beans. We went with chicken, steak, and shrimp and were not disappointed. It was so nice to just assemble them ourselves exactly how we like them. My only regret was filling up too quickly. This is the type of old school Mexican restaurant that you can count on for huge portions and delicious food. They will also sing to you on your birthday, so it's a great place to celebrate. It's honestly always a good time!

We love this family friendly restaurant for a dine in family visit AND/OR a called in pick up order! Service is never an issue, and there is never a long wait! Must try dishes are the combo fajitas and table side guacamole! We always come back and we always recommend this location. P.s. They have live music; the ambiance is fun but still family friendly!

Stopped in for a little lunch and boy was it delicious! Fernando our server was amazing and kind! Food came out yummy and filling! I had the shrimp ceviche and my friend had a fish taco and burrito combo. Light lunch crowd today so the ambiance was perfect! Margaritas were definitely yummy! Will bring other friends to try it out!!

We had another amazing meal here for lunch today. We were seated in the bar area with multiple TV's to watch. Everyone is very nice, helpful, and efficient. The staff works well together for a seamless experience. I ordered the southwest salad with Pollo Asado which was delicious. My spouse ordered the chimichanga carne asada with pinto beans and rice. They give you complimentary thin crispy chips with a bean dip, red salsa, and green salsa. Their portion sizes are Huge and Everything was Delicious! Thank you for a great meal and great service! Every time we go to Juan's Flaming Fajitas, we have the BEST service. We always have great, friendly servers and everyone is very attentive. We are always given warm, fresh tortilla chips and they'll bring another basket before we have even finished the first one. I have enjoyed their enchiladas, tamales, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos in past visits. You can see them making fresh tortillas through a little window inside the restaurant. We love this place and we will continue coming back!

I went here with some friends and they told me about this spot but I was not ready! The flaming fajitas was a site to see! I went with the loaded fries and they were delicious, everything was fun, fast, fresh, and amazing! I also had 2 Margaritas which were delicious! This place is definitely a spot you want to check out!!

Stopped by to celebrate 2 birthday's for lunch with a party of 7 recently. The food here is always hearty and the ambiance is lively. Service is great - the whole waitstaff came out to sing Happy Birthday to our friends and they were THRILLED! Chicken Taquitos were much bigger than expected yet delicious! Chicken Monterey was also really good! Thank you for a great time! We'll be back again soon!

We got here on a Monday, which was surprisingly pretty busy. I had given up on getting a spot prior to the end of happy hour, but we made it. Thanks to one of the lovely bar tenders we got in. We are regulars, but she had never seen us before. She was so kind and ensured we were seated. I did check in to see if anything would open soon as well. The other bar tender took our order and although he was very busy but made time to chat us up on what we needed and options for drinks. We ordered our usual and had a delightful meal. We usually get the taquitos, queso, and something else so we can enjoy something at home too.

Food was okay. The Fideo soup wasn't. The other location on Tropicana is okay. Although the restaurant was nice and colorful I just don't think I'll be returning.

Queso fundido for the win. Never disappoints! Good food, great drinks! Thank you Tocayo!

Saturday early afternoon dinner. Tried to join the waitlist through yelp but I guess they were not accepting that today. Anyhow. Walked in and got seated immediately. Restaurant was pretty full so happy about that. Order the skinny margarita and a Cadillac with no salt. Came with salt but they took it right back and gave us new drinks. I'm on low carbs so I ordered the sea bass and veggies with no tortillas. The waitress offered me romaine lettuce for wraps. I loved that. Fish was good but it was slaughtered with the chipotle creama. Definitely too much sauce. Boo thang got the carne asada fajitas which is always good. All in all a good dinner.

This is a popular spot for locals and I can see why. They have happy hour deals and their food is appetizing. Shortly after you are seated at your table, they serve complimentary chips, salsas, and a bean dip. They are all legit, 4/5 stars! Quesadilla open-faced cheese crisp: the crunchy tortilla with the creamy soft cheese is to be desired, 4/5 stars. Shrimp ceviche: this was a typical ceviche but it seemed fresh and the lemon enhanced the seafood as sometimes it can be overpowering, 3.5/5 stars. Queso fundido with pollo asado: that cheese pull with mild flavor allows the seasoned chicken to shine and I kept going in for more, 4/5 stars. The service is fast and courteous. Happy hour deals are also honored in the dining area which made for a lively atmosphere.

I've never been disappointed with any dish here! I usually get the tacos which are delicious! I love their chips and salsa too! Service is always on point! It's a pretty decent size restaurant but I love sitting in the bar area because it's tucked in its own little corner.

Such a fun place to dine with Live music Monday-Thursday. Someone is always having a birthday dinner. Must try the flaming table side fajitas and table side guacamole made to order. Servers are interactive and very attentive.

I love going to this place -- it's one of my husband's favorite spots too! They always have really good deals, and the service never disappoints. My favorite part has to be the chips with the bean dip and salsa (so good!), and of course the sopita is always the highlight for me. The food is consistently delicious every time we come. Definitely a go-to restaurant for us!

Coming here feels like you are visiting a traditional Latino household, where the grandmas continue to bring you food and they host you very well!! I've been to many restaurants, some that charge a ton for a plate, but NONE compare to the customer service this place offers! EVERYONE, from the greeter, the waiter, the bus boys, the cleaning people, and all the staff have exceptional customer service! They are so attentive from beginning to end!! Karen was our waiter today and she was AWESOME! She attended us very well, always making sure we had what we needed on our table and refilled our drinks as needed. The food is great! I tried their Quesabirria and I think that's what I'll order every time I come back! Today was Father's Day, they had live music. A man was walking around singing songs and he sounded great! I'm not sure if they have him there all the time or just for special occasions like today. My family and I love this place' we will return soon! **I love that they have a reservation policy. This allows for families to not have to wait so long for a seat !

First time venturing into Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina in North Las Vegas, and now I totally get the hype! I went with the California Burrito, pretty solid choice, but definitely get it in the red sauce for that extra flavor boost. The decorations are as authentic as they come, giving that real deal Mexican cantina feel. Seating took a bit longer than expected, but with live music, good vibes, and that sizzling fajita aroma in the air, it's hard to complain. Now that The Mirage is closed and there are no more volcanoes bursting flames on the Strip, Juan's Flaming Fajitas is as close as you're going to get to that fiery Vegas spectacle, only this time, you can eat it! Between the food, the atmosphere, and the energy, it's no wonder this place stays busy. Worth every minute of the wait!

LOVE this place!!!! This by far is my favorite location/place to eat. The food is consistent no matter which location you decide to go to. The service is FABULOUS! The ambiance is great! I would highly recommend this place anytime you are craving great food, service and experience. You really won't be disappointed. This is my go to for the BEST Mexican food in the City. You NEED to try this place at least once.

Juan's Flaming Fajitas was not even on my radar, and I'm so glad my family recommended we go there. It's a lively and yummy Mexican restaurant where their specialty is a flaming platter of fajitas, tableside. But of course, I don't always order the things that are most popular when I go somewhere. I just kinda order what I feel like in the moment. And I'm not a huge fajita person for whatever reason, even though in theory, I should like everything about fajitas. What I do really like is cheese though, so we ordered the Queso Fundido. Delish! We also were brought some tasty tortilla chips to start some yummy salsa delicious refried beans. We were also given a small cup of sopa de fideo. They make their own corn and flour tortillas and I thought they're very good. After reflecting on the flames I saw at a nearby table and the sizzling meat smell, and then reading some reviews about the fajitas, I realize that I probably should've ordered the fajitas lol. Oh well, next time. My stepdad ordered the Chicharrones plate and I had a combination plate with chile relleño and a chicken flauta. These dishes were all good, my least favorite was the chile. The texture wasn't ideal but it tasted fine. I wouldn't order that again here. However the pork was very tasty. Made up for it. Flauta had a flat shape I'm not used to, but had a good texture and taste. We also had some happy hour cocktails - I had the skinny margarita. I liked it, light and refreshing. My mom had the sangria and then I finished it, and my stepdad had a Negro Modelo, which is my favorite Mexican beer. All in all, good times were had and the food was delicious. The service was really on point and everything came out fast. I would recommend this spot and definitely come back here.

I've been there 5 times and every time the food was great, and every time the service was above the best professional staff I've seen. Just great and the atmosphere was amazing. Great place for family's. And great for average meetings.

I visited Juan's Flaming Fajitas for Cinco de Mayo, and the energy was awesome! We made reservations ahead of time, so we didn't have to wait to get a table. The Mariachis were performing all around the restaurant, which added to the vibe for the holiday. The food was great--no complaints at all. My flour tortillas were perfection! Our server was great and very attentive (I forgot to get his name). The only downside was the parking lot. It was total chaos. A bunch of spaces had "no parking" signs, and I really think they should've worked something out with the nearby businesses to cover those signs just for the holiday. Parking was really a madhouse and the takeout window made parking worse bc they were blocking the traffic while running to the outside window. Overall, I will definitely be back for the food!

This restaurant isn't too far of a drive from where we are currently staying. The outside has plenty of parking spaces, and a cute little pillar for photo opps! Inside is nicely decorated in Mexican heritage and super cute and festive! Really looked like we were in Mexico! Lol The service is awesome, everyone literally kept up with table touches and they sat us early, regardless of not having the full party there! Food is tasty, very filling, and the portions are about average. The prices are okay too, but some items on the menu were questionable in terms of pricing. The michelada Mondays are terrible! Watered down, spicy, and just not that good lol!' Would I come here again, sure. Is it the best Mexican food, definitely not, BUT keep in mind I'm a ca native and I'm spoiled with authentic and affordable Mexican food! lol

Came here to catch up with a friend. Food was good! It is not the best food you'll have, but it was good enough to satisfy any Mexican food cravings. We ordered the fajitas and i like how they come out sizzling and they add the fire so the food stays hot. The portions are huge! We took so much home so that's always a plus, you get your moneys worth! Service was good, our server was attentive and came to check on us constantly. Ambiance was also good, we came on a Thursday evening and it was not busy, we got seated right away. I can check this off my list of places to try, but still haven't decided if I would go back soon.

Even on a busy Saturday the service was top notch! The server along with other table assistance continuously checked on us throughout the dinner. I was really impressed by such attentiveness. We always enjoy Juan's at all locations.

Friday night was our first of what will be many trips to Juan's Flaming Fajitas in N Las Vegas. The food was amazing and the service was spot on. We had 6:00 reservations for our party of 4 and I'm so glad we made them; the place was packed. If there is a downside, it is the parking. I'm so glad we got there early as we had to ride around the parking lot like vultures waiting to pounce on a spot when someone was exiting.

Having eaten at all three Juan's restaurants, I had my best dining experience on my last occasion here. Fresh Guacamole made to my order and prepared tableside with freshly cooked warm Tortilla Chips was exactly right as the perfect starter, along with a complimentary warm and smooth Bean Dip and two salsas. And, once again the Flaming Fajitas were the best I have experienced. I even succeeded in photographing my entree in flaming mode. This time I had Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas for One with added Mushrooms and Tomato slices. The shrimps were plump and juicy, and the chicken looked and tasted like it had been carved from an original roast rather than pressed meat that often results in white cubes. The Fideo Soup was hot and a nice inclusion. Extra chips and more Coke Zero were offered without me having to ask for same. A second Bean Dip was placed on the table unbidden for more dunking of Tortilla Chips after the first mostly ran out. Diane was satisfied with her Shrimp Quesadilla. Cooked Bell Peppers and White Onions, along with Pico de Gallo, a bit of sour cream, and some more Guac blended beautifully with the proteins, mushrooms, and tomatoes in the Fajitas, and I received two more Flour Tortillas on request. I finished four fajita-filled tortillas at the restaurant, and brought home one more for an enjoyable and filling lunch at home the next day. Prices are reasonable, and there is no nickel and diming here. The restaurant's ambiance hearkened memories of images of Old Mexico; table seating was comfortable; and service by Briseida and assistant servers was quick and responsive. I look forward to dining here again fairly soon.

Last minute decision to go to this location since I was up in the northwest. It was packed for a Wednesday but it should be as the food is always great! I've been a customer at the original location on Tropicana since I lived in the southwest for over 20 years. Always enjoy Juan's! I sat at the bar and had chips and salsa, a pomegranate margarita and shrimp ceviche. Chips and salsa are always so fresh. My cocktail was great, never had a pomegranate margarita before and it was yummy! The ceviche hit the spot. So hearty! It's a great bar area and Karen and Cassie were so great and kind bartenders. It's a smoother flow of set up at the bar too which was cool. Looking forward to visiting again!

The service is good but the food is not. The chicken and beef you can tell it's precooked used to be juicy and you can tell from the color but now the chicken and beef extra dry especially the beef. Couldn't even eat it

Food quality is amazing no matter what you order, drinks are so delicious. The service is outstanding. No empty glasses here. The restaurant is clean with authentic decore. Bathrooms are clean and stocked

Amazing Salsa After a short round of paper rock scissors with my best friend we ended up a Juan's Flaming Fajitas. The service was very friendly and the ticket time for our food was quick. The chicken fajitas are large in portion size but lack flavor. The chicken was bland and the peppers didn't help enhance the flavor. The salsa however both red and green were packed with flavor and even had a kick of spice. The rice was dry and the black beans were bland as well.

Service was fast no waiting and chips and drinks never was empty. Food as always was awesome.

People always talk about Juan's Flaming Fajitas and how good it is so I finally decide to give it a go. Came during the week and it was still very busy. If coming on a weekend I recommend making resos or just be prepared to wait. I went with the steak and shrimp skewers fajitas, with the Alambre Style as an add on. With a side of guacamole. The fajitas were super flavorful and tasty. The cheese on top was perfectly melted. The bacon bits and chorizo added much more flavor to each bite. Over all a great choice if you decide to check it out

I told a friend to meet me there and she enjoyed. The "happy hour" menu between 3:00-6:00 is really good. The drink prices are fabulous. Service was amazing.

$4.29 for a soda? Who said this was budget-friendly? Otherwise enjoyed the food. Service was excellent Seats are comfy as is the friendly atmosphere.

Best Mexican food in Las Vegas. We ordered the combo fajitas with steak and shrimp, a chicken enchilada, and a cheese enchilada. Everything was hot, sizzling and delicious. Chips come with bean dip and various types of salsa. Service is impeccable. Plenty of space. Free parking. Went twice in one week. 10/10.

Went here with family. Got sat down on a timely Mann for a party of 8. Our waiter was great. Very attentive. Margarita flight was yummy. We did get charged 18% auto gratuitiy because of large party, but honestly he deserved it. However we all got food poisoning. Every single one of us. I did call and spoke to manager. He seemed not very interested. Didint apologize. Didint make us feel like we mattered. Won't be coming back.

5 stars for Juan's Flaming Fajitas in North Las Vegas. This location is near us and it's great that we don't have to drive across town like we used to. Great service for a large and busy restaurant, but they take reservations. The fajitas are delicious and they will be flaming; your server will ask you if you're ready for the show before they light them up in case you want to take photos. Los of other Mexican food on the menu, too, if you don't feel like having fajitas.

So fun!! Order the fajitas to get the tableside flaming fajitas experience!! Was able to make reservations online and seated as soon as we arrived. Compliment chips and salsa as well as soup are included. Our server Alex was great and everyone was super helpful. They also have a live music to enhance the vibe!!

Juan's was great! I didn't have high expectations walking in with multiple locations available. We walked in and were seated immediately. They offered bean dip, red, and green salsa. All were delicious. We had a multitude of different items from enchiladas to molitos all were delicious. You can tell this is the real deal. The meat in all of them were delicious. We will definitely be back and this may be the new staple. The restaurant felt so homey. The decor was welcoming and made you feel like you were in a piece of Mexico.

Wow, 5 Stars!! Food was excellent.. portions are huge. The happy hour margarita was legit... I would highly recommend this restaurant.. We enjoyed everything about Juan's!!

Excellent on all counts! Welcoming nature and efficiency of service, check; vast menu, check; quality of food; check; prices, check; ambience, check! Takes reservations and has a wonderful man playing guitar and sounding wonderful!! Make a visit! We go to the North Las Vegas location.

Bad service, will not eat here again. The lady at the register last night kept declining my card because I left zero tip, for takeout. She finally accepted my third card, keep in my mind zero balances on each card. For revenge she insisted on taking all the items out of the bag, in order to show me the hard work they put in bagging up the order, then conveniently left items out when putting everything back inside the bag as she stood there and smirked, blocking the items she intentionally left out. Should have received my full order, all items, $90 bucks for steak fajitas for two is too much.
