The 18 Best Breakfast Spots In Boston 2024

"Jugos does a menu of fruit juices and smoothies called batidos typically sold by street vendors in Latin America. Of the jugos, we love the sweet zippiness of the Number 7, which blends pear, pineapple, green apple, lime, and mint for a drink that’ll briefly make you forget about all the various T shutdowns. The batidos are good across the board, especially the protein-filled Kalik or the berry-packed Stella. If you need more sustenance in the morning, order the choripan with scrambled eggs, cheese, and chorizo served on a soft pan sabao for a hearty-yet-not-too-heavy start to the day." - lala thaddeus

The Best Healthy Restaurants in Boston | Bon Appétit

"Boston is dotted with juice shops, and most of them are pretty great. But the original that started it all from a closet-sized, commuter-focused (read: cramped, grab-and-go) location in Back Bay Station is still serving some of the best smoothies around. Now, with the opening of its larger South End spot,Jugos Supremo, you can sit down and savor the substantial menu filled with smoothies, juices, acai and pitaya bowls, and plates like the Marrakesh, a turmeric-poached egg with olives, sweet potato, feta, garbanzo, tomato, cucumber, and tahini." - ByMelissa Malamut

Google
I don’t know why other reviewers are dinging this place but I love them, one of the best brunch places in Boston and I make sure to go if I’m ever waiting for a train in Back Bay. I think where people are going wrong is that they think this should be a fast food place and go for the sandwiches, but this is more of a hispanic casual counter eatery where everything is made to order. I tend to have the arepas and one of the bowls, like La Chamba and they’re always so well worth the price both in quantity and taste. They’re always very accommodating to change requests and have some of the freshest fruit for juices and their snack takeaways too. Don’t knock it till you try it! And try something you wouldn’t get at an american deli!

God's Good Grief

Google
I used to buy juice/smoothies and fresh fruits & veggies when they were outside Backbay station, but now they are located inside the station. I'm not sure if they still have fresh fruits & veggies for sale. But they serve good, healthy breakfast/fruit bowls and smoothies. A lil pricey, could be friendlier/welcoming. They accept cash and card.

Google
Got a blat sandwich in the morning and it took about 15 minutes. Sandwich came out steaming hot, and overall the sandwich was decent. After you wait a while, you wonder if they forgot your order or not. There's no real system or receipts.

Google
Great place for Açai bowls in the Back Bay Station. Opens early. Easy to order from the menu. Good options for very healthy juices and if you need flowers, they sell flowers too!! This was the Martinez bowl. Tasted great.

Leah Vargas

Google
This place is ridiculously slow. The folks working pay 0 attention to the counter and busy themselves moving cups around. It takes 30+ minutes to prepare a sandwich, and they're generally out of the grab n' go lunch options, even early in the day, if they're ever stocked at all. Disappointing.

Google
Unexpectedly exceptional Ceasar salad. Super fresh crisp kale, what seemed like freshly cooked well seasoned chicken, wi to a generous portion of sourdough and a great light lemon dressing honestly one of the best Cesar salads I’ve ever had. It took 10-15 mins to prepare but I swear I saw them chop up the kale for it fresh and the bowl was warm from recently cooked chicken. Well worth the wait and a really pleasant surprise for my train ride.

Google
I’m sad I didn’t give this place in the train station a chance earlier—one of my fav places now! All the food is so fresh and tasty and nutritious and also affordable and promptly prepared. An oasis of reasonability in a world of ultra processed foods and bland luxury salads

Jon Langbert

Google
Ordered a tuna sandwich and it took over 10 minutes to come out. Wasn’t worth the wait (or weight) as it was fairly bland. Service seems a bit disorganized and isn’t the friendliest.

Yelp
To go orders are always on time and the food. Is delicious and uses fresh ingredients. Love Jugos!

Yelp
Great little place here at Back Bay station! Very interesting- It's a healthy food and juice place, it's a Mexican food place - what do you know!! I always look for healthy food options especially while traveling so it's great to see places like this in the train station!! Wanted to pick up some food for lunch on the train to NYC. Ordered the pollo supreme sandwich- it's essentially a chicken salad sandwich- looks very interesting- bright yellow color shredded chicken with cucumbers in pan sobao bread - which I had never heard of - looked it up right there before ordering- it's a slightly sweet Puerto Rican bread. Also picked up a couple healthy snack bowls - one was a parfait with yogurt and fruit and honey granola and the other was an oatmeal bowl with blueberries. They also had some chia fruit cups and their menu had lots of juices too. Service was great - the guy at the counter was very friendly. He noticed the bananas in the parfait cup were a bit discolored so he removed those and cut a fresh banana and put it in. I wasn't expecting that at all and was very pleasantly surprised by his thoughtfulness and service. The sandwich took a while and I was getting worried as the train time was close. But it was finally done! Ate only half of the sandwich as I also wanted to eat the parfait. Was mild and tasty went well with the bread. Parfait was good too. Hubs enjoyed the oatmeal cup too. Overall great experience and the service was above and beyond!

Yelp
The picture says everything about my 1 star review. C'mon now that is just gross. I honestly can't rate the food or service as I saw that rat and walked away

Yelp
The healthiest, cleanest, and protein packed food you can find! The La Chamba bowl with grilled chicken comes with FRESH STEAMY pillowy purple rice and beans and fresh greens tossed in lemon juice. The grilled chicken was fresh and hot. What I love about this bowl is that although there isn't a lot of seasonings, the lemon juice and salsa on the side is super flavorful and uses fresh clean ingredients. This place is perfect for anyone looking for a clean and healthy option and absolutely great for fitness people. This place is located inside the Back Bay station and I don't think it is a good idea at all. There is a few seating but honestly it is not fun eating inside a train station. This is definitely a grab and go situation. They also have lots of other menu items for on the go such as juices, fruits, acai bowls, and a few pastry items.

Yelp
Very good, but TMI... something upset my stomach. Maybe the burrito- la niña. Smoothie- super linda. Juice #9-my favorite thing from my order. Very tasty. Would def get another smoothie or juice again. Fast delivery. expensive. Cost me almost $60, including tip. I live in Boston, but there's nowhere for me to stop or park.

Yelp
terrible I get there last Friday at 2pm today at 2:45pm and they say there is no food because they've no help I was looking forward to trying their food but will not bother again

Yelp
Located right inside the Back Bay terminal is Jugos, a great place to get juices, and smoothies, and pick up a quick bite of food. I came here right when they opened at 7 am on a weekday, picked out one of their fresh juices, and ordered the honey honey salad. There was a line forming waiting as I was paying for people to order. The juice was smooth and didn't have any pieces of pulp from the juicing and I could taste the lemon and ginger in it. The honey honey salad was quite filling with plenty of arugula, butternut squash, pear, and cashews. The dressing went perfectly with the arugula by taking away the bitterness and adding a light flavor to the salad toppings. When the weather gets warmer, I will definitely be coming back to try out the smoothies.

Yelp
What a delightful place to stop by! I needed some flowers as a gift for a graduating masters and was recommended to come here. I saw they also had salads so I made sure to order some lunch while I was stopping by. The staff are lovely and they make some great juices and smoothies. The business is rather small so people mostly stand just out the door to wait for their orders. There was some confusion about price when I picked flowers because most didn't have price tags. I thought I had grabbed a cheaper bouquet but since it was not what I expected I just swapped it for the gorgeous $40 bouquet that had caught my eye initially. They made sure to take care of me and give me a bag. There was also a bit of a wait for my salad, and they were out of butternut squash but could sub sweet potato instead. Lucky me! I enjoy sweet potato much more than butternut squash. I think partially because I was waiting for a bit they also threw in a free Percy smoothie when my salad was ready. The day just keeps getting better! The smoothie is delicious, and my colleague who recommended Jugos suggested I try that smoothie because it was their favorite. Well it's my favorite now too. And btw this salad is amazing. Huge. Jam packed.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE juice and anything related to juice and knew I had to come to this quaint little shop after passing by it from the train station! Not only is the exterior very fun and lively with their flowers and small seating area, but they have so many fun smoothie flavors as well! It took me a while to decide but finally landed with the Nantucket, which is more of a blueberry cinnamon-y drink and I loved the flavor combo more than I thought I would! If you're looking more for a refreshing and fruity drink though, I would recommend one of the others with more types of fruits that I'll have to come back and try!

Yelp
A convenient place for juice and healthy food at Back Bay. It conveniently is located outside the MBTA station. Makes you feel better about having to come to this nasty station to get on a train. Best thing about it by far. The place is very small but has a few tables. It has lots of tropical and exotic fruit. Juice is the main thing of course here. There's all kinds of fruit they use. Get juices made fresh. Some can also be purchased in the cooler premade. I like the number 7 juice. It's $8 for a bottle, full of flavor and nutrition. This is made with green apples, limes, mint, pears, and pineapples. It has a bit of coolness. This is thanks to the mint. Kind of sour and sweet with the green apples. The pineapple mostly provides the flavor. I also like the food. They have some small bites and bowls that pack a lot of vitamins. I like the Chia Seed Pudding With Cacao. It's $9 for a lot. This is made with agave, cashew milk, cinnamon, dates, and water. Good so far. This is topped with cacao nibs, coconut flakes, and goji berries to give it additional flavor and texture. It comes in a pretty big cup. This packs in a lot and it's also filling. Best place outside the station at Back Bay. If you're going on a train, getting something from here is cheaper and healthier. This is also good while at the station waiting.

Yelp
I love the "jucos", but today is the third time I went there and leave with nothing because it will take too long to make it. I was told today I will have to wait for 25 minutes because there was orders ahead of me, even though I was the only customer there. Frustrating! I really wanted the 24oz #1, my favorite.

Yelp
Food: Everything I've had from there is INCREDIBLE. Their coffee and matcha lattes are strong, delicious. My favorite food in the world are arepas, and the ones here are AMAZING. Flavorful, filling, all you can ask for in a panini. Their smoothies/juices are also delicious and sooo refreshing. Honestly nothing from there disappoints. Their smoothie bowls are also delicious, avocado toast, hands down best breakfast/brunch place in town. Ambiance: Having gone to Northeastern, I only visited the one on Mass Ave. The place is definitely small, during summer/warmer days you can sit outside, but it's definitely a pretty and bright ambiance with natural light. I love the colors inside.

Yelp
This is a gem hidden on Dartmouth st, on my walk out from Equinox I try to come here and grab a delicious natural juice or a great sandwich, there salads are amazing and tasty, don't come here and expect great customer service, they're not rude but not friendly either, is not a sit down type of place, more of a order, grab and go about your business:) I highly recommend this place especially when you're on a hurry.

Yelp
What an absolute GEM! I was craving a smoothie, but I wanted something different, something my tastebuds had never tried before. I was thrilled to find Jugos on Yelp. They've got all sorts of batidos (smoothies) - batidos bowls, super batidos, regular batidos, and, of course, juice shots. I loved the tropical flavor combinations. It was difficult to choose just one. The plethora of plants (for sale) only amplified the place's lush, jungle-y vibes. I opted for the maracuya with passion fruit, bananas, avocado and cashew milk. The batido was a beautiful, creamy yellow color and sooo thick. One sip was all it took to know that Jugos only works with the freshest of ingredients and whips up each cup to order. I paraded my batido all around Newbury that afternoon and was stopped by several people asking me where I'd gone for it. If you need a smoothie fix and are ready to shake things up, try Jugos!! They also offer breakfast, sandwiches, salads and coffee. It really is a place that has it all!

Yelp
Really really fresh incredible delicious healthy vegan and Paleo options. You could tell the food was homemade. I had a fresh Arepa. I am shocked the food so good is available in a train station.
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
Honestly my favorite smoothie place in Boston. It is located right in front of the Back Bay T station, which kills my wallet but brings me So. Much. Joy. I've tried a few smoothies here (aka batidos) and they have not disappointed. They are creamy and taste incredibly fresh. Not to mention their killer indoor plant game, I leave with plant inspo for my house every time. It really makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise enjoying a smoothie.

Yelp
Struggling to find a bionicos location since moving from the West coast and Jugos hit the spot. The mangoes are elite. They never fail to be perfectly ripe even in the winter. Also ordered their oaxaca bowl, which i didn't photograph because I wolfed it down so quickly. Fave
google avatar

Yelp
Delish! So happy to find ~tropical~ eats after moving here from South Florida!! A little pricey, but really cute, clean, and healthy!
google avatar

Shira H.

Yelp
This place is really small and crowds easily. The food and juice is delicious. I ordered the Ipanema and took a green juice (cayenne , Apple, kale, ginger, etc.) and it was all absolutely delicious. There isn't a spot to sit, it's a walk through. Nothing note worthy and nothing bad, I've simply been spoiled by better (aka Hawaii). The blend is fruity and not tart. The portion is respectful, just right and not something you are struggling to finish. The toppings could use variety. I like an equal portion of fruit and crunch. Most of the acaii or piranha bowls only had two fruit options as a topping, so mine was pineapple and one kiwi which was pretty but the cut was hard. I would have preferred the kiwi sliced so as easy to spoon. Again, this are all small things. If you are on the go and want a delicious and refreshing snack/ breakfast this is an excellent stop on your busy way.

Yelp
Stopped at Jugos after a recent trip to Boston before I took the train home. The smoothie bowl was good. However, I also got an overpriced matcha that tasted so bad I ended up throwing it in the garbage before I could even take a picture. Probably won't go again after this experience.
google avatar

Charlene E.

Yelp
When I'm in a rush and don't have time to make my own juice, I order from here and it's always so fresh and so good. They even give cards so one you make 11 purchases, you get the 12th one free.

RM J.

Yelp
Really, really good bfast sandwich Fruit smoothies all look fresh Enjoyed the cafe con leche Worth revisiting many times
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
This tiny smoothie shop is a hidden gem in Back Bay train station! Their food is so delicious! They don't have seating but you can definitely take a little picnic in nearby Copley Square. The price is a little high but you get really good quality.
google avatar

Yelp
Quick service for walk ins, large portions, and amazing freshness of veggies! The avocado was PERFECT - amount and freshness

Yelp
Stopped by Jugos with some friends. It was a bit hard to find (located inside Back Bay station), but once we did, the shop was so cute. There's no place to sit and it's quite small, but the interior is VERY authentic-looking. Lots of natural wood, plants, and fruit on display. All of this creates a very relaxing vibe. We got 2 Sao Paolo bowls, 1 Kai, and 1 Ipanema. - The Sao Paolo, unfortunately, was our least favorite. It became watery very quickly and just tasted a bit off. I'm not sure what it was. It was a bit too rich for us, and it didn't really taste like acai, either. I think the cacao flavor was a bit overpowering. - The Kai and Ipanema bowls were much, much better. They were lighter and more fruity. They were still a bit too watery, though, but overall we liked these 2 bowls. Price-wise, these were very reasonable. We could tell that the quality was very high, and the bowls were large as well, so the $10 seemed very fair. Other places would charge much more. I'd definitely come back, but I'd probably get either the Kai or try something new (like the Los Verdes, one of their Pitaya bowls, or something else on their menu).
google avatar

Taylin I.

Yelp
I love Jugos. If you are ever feeling sick or behind on your fruits and veggies or just want to treat yourself, I highly recommend this place! I've tried their smoothies and juices. All of the ones I've tried are well balanced, not too sweet or too "healthy" tasting but you know the ingredients are top quality. I am currently trying their waka waka smoothie and it's so nice, both fruity from the strawberry and raspberry and nutty from the coconut and cashew milk without being too tart or sweet. Always friendly service, super convenient if you're passing through back bay station. Most juices and smoothies will cost at least $7-8 but they really pack the fresh produce in.
google avatar

Jessi F.

Yelp
I'm somewhat of a newbie to Jugos but a huge fan. Today was my first time at this particular location. Although it's tiny, it's filled with tropical, playful accents and I love the Latino vibes. Somebody put a lot of thought into how to make Jugos a one-of-a-kind juice spot. We ordered a latte, a cold brew, the Kai bowl, and the Santo Domingo bowl. The woman at the cashier was very friendly! Our bowls took around 10 minutes to come out. While not huge, for $10 each, the portion seemed about right. I loved the toppings (granola, almond butter, bananas etc). The cold brew was hugeee. The latte was a bit disappointing because it was mostly milk and scalding at first. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Located in the Back Bay Orange Line Station in South End/Copley area, JUGOS is a small juice and smoothie joint with other healthy treats. I ordered the 16oz waka waka which consisted of many things including strawberries and other things that I cannot remember. Fast service and kind smile from the workers!
google avatar

Alan S.

Yelp
What a welcome alternative to Dunkin Donuts' monopoly on breakfast before catching a train at Back Bay. I'm not usually a consumer of chia pudding, but I guess I felt inspired this particular morning. The vanilla and light cashew milk flavors worked well. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the owners is from Argentina or Uruguay, as it felt like many of the ubiquitous miniature coffee shops I've seen in Buenos Aires. Great reprieve from the otherwise stark environs surrounding.
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
I was totally BFFs with their crew after the my three days in Boston. No joke- I filled an entire loyalty card in 3 days. The energy in this week juice/acai bowl/chia pudding shop is AMAZING! They're both friendly, efficient and talented. The shop pours onto the sidewalk with tons of pails filled with fruit and veggies that are used in their creations. I highly recommend the chocolate strawberry chia pudding combo. I also enjoyed their acai bowls and juices. Despite the lack of space, they seem to pull it all off. If you're a local or visiting for a few days - I recommend starting a loyalty card. I believe it was eight or ten purchases to redeem a free item. Can't wait for my next juicy visit to Boston. Thank you for fueling my weekend, JUGOS!
google avatar

Claire S.

Yelp
best juice/smoothie in Boston! their menu has so many different options and each one tastes super fresh. I find with juice/smoothie places they can feel artificially sweetened or lack fresh fruit but Jugos juices and smoothies aren't that at all... they taste amazing and fresh. My favorite smoothie is the Linda. They also have chia seeds, fresh fruit etc that are pre made and easy to grab and go with. A must visit in Boston
google avatar

Tiny C.

Yelp
Order online, pick up in store. The green juices/smoothies never disappoint. The sandwiches are always a hit. Always a go-to for lunch.

Yelp
So cute!!! Really lovely place to grab smoothie bowl / juice / coffee before catching the train. I had the cafe con leche with cashew milk and it was wonderful. Loved to admire the flowers outside while I enjoyed my drink!

Yelp
Came here after an intense workout at Barry's Bootcamp, which was right across the street. I had heard about the long lines, but at 2 pm it wasn't bad at all to get an order in and get the food in about 5 minutes. I got the acai bowl and I really enjoyed the taste and the refreshing feeling of the yogurt after a hard workout. I think that the acai bowl was really well complemented by the servings of banana and granola and it was a good balance because after the bowl I felt as if I had gotten a good lunch in as well. Food: The food is really pretty and really easy to carry around in the to-go bowls they have. It's quite cute and good for instagram if you're into that kind of stuff. I really enjoyed that my acai bowl wasn't too sweet. Service: The place is quite small and can only fit max 5 people inside because it's so narrow. Would come here again after Barry's! Slightly on the expensive side though.
google avatar

Karina E.

Yelp
Really yummy juices with fresh fruits and custom combinations! I wish they have yogurt instead of nut milks but either way it was satisfying.
google avatar

Cristina C.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite local places in Boston, located right next to Back Bay station. They have delicious juices, smoothies, cafecitos, in-house nut milks and snacks such as plantain chips. On my most recent trip to Boston I realized they also have breakfast sandwiches on sourdough bread. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Done and dusted with my Memorial Day Weekend workouts. I spun and lifted weights and now to refuel. I like Jugos for my clean eats when I just need to detox from all the other good foods I've eaten during the week that may not have been so clean. I'm definitely a fan of the sandwiches and the smoothies here. The acai bowls are good but I'm not over the moon about them. Overall, a place to go to when I need to clean up my eating from the damage I've done during the week. So if you need a place for a good variety of acai bowls, smoothies, sandwiches and other clean eats and drinks, give this place a try. My faves are the Kai, Super Linda and any sandwiches with avocado.
google avatar

Reina V.

Yelp
Came to order my 1st smoothie, from what seems a very popular establishment. If the customer can't be heard, meaning, I am placing my order and the music playing is too loud, to the point that you have to raise your voice to be heard at 10am, isn't that a point to lower the music a tab bit down? No, the lady behind the counter states "the music is the point of the store." Mmmmm...since when is the customer wrong? Next time I decide to come I'll rethink about coming.
google avatar

Ashley N.

Yelp
Nice spot for quick stop for some healthy juice and smoothies. Not from Boston, was visiting. But I found it to be a convenient shop for juices, smoothies, and açaí bowls

Yelp
Smoothie/Acai bowls are becoming the new coffee and wine. In a few years we'll have connoisseurs breaking down notes of blood orange and hints of Dragonberry by the spoonful. I, literally, just googled "dragonberry" to see if it exists. It doesn't, only dragonfruit but you get the picture. Jugos smoothie bowls and juices are super fresh and made to order. Their menu has something for everyone and leave you looking forward to your next visit. They offer a little bit of everything. Whether it's a pre-made juice bcz you've gotta dash, a smoothie bowl, prepackaged lunch, energy bars, even milkshakes to bring all the boys to the yard (I would normally remove such a lame quip but it popped into my mind so it stays). We opted for a #6 fresh made juice and Kai smoothie bowls, then exited and waited patiently. Oh yea, almost forgot to mention the location is a tight squeeze so prepare yourself for an intimate encounter with another smoothie fiend with that glazed over look of anticipation in their eyes. The wait wasn't too bad, roughly 12 minutes but unless you're in a hurry, who cares when it's this fresh? The bowl is a solid 4. I prefer my bowls THICK not watery and it'll run you $10, which is the high-end of the going rate (usually $7-$10). Overall, it's delicious, nutritious, and conveniently located at the Back Bay T Station.

Yelp
I got the Montevideo pitaya bowl and açaí bowl (total around $20). They have 2 kinds of pitaya bowls. The shop is too small for strollers. About 10 people max can fit. It was super crowded on a Saturday. They play Spanish music and it's very lively and fun. They sell fresh fruit outside in baskets. They sell fresh juices that are pre-packed and in the fridge (ready to grab) and some healthy bowls. They also have dried corn and plantain chips. They don't have a very organized ordering system. The guy writes down your order on a post-it note then hands it off or sticks it somewhere where he thinks the juice maker will see it. The room was too small to wait in but I was worried that if I waited outside, they wouldn't call my name. There is no indoor seating. There are some areas to sit in the train/bus station attached but it doesn't belong to JUGOS.

Sara P.

Yelp
Jugos could be so much more. But the absolutely abysmal service, especially during peak times, keeps me from being a regular. Please consider hiring nice people, who see a line forming and look to serve customers, rather than ignoring them. I've been there three times now, and have seen people who were waiting to be rung up, simply turn and walk out because it was taking SO long. Do better.
google avatar

Kriscia C.

Yelp
Definitely the best juice bar in Boston. They have such a great selection of juices, smoothies, to-go food, and acai bowls. I've also done the juice-detox from them twice and although it was slightly pricey, it was well worth it. The space is very small and they do make everything fresh so expect to wait. My favorites are the Kalik smoothie, Tuna wrap, Plantain chips, La Rosa juice, & basically all of the acai bowls. Make sure to ask for a stamp card too because you'll end up being addicted like I am.
google avatar

Patrick W.

Yelp
I have had trouble finding great acai bowls outside of warmer, tropical climates. Jugos was no different. The bowl was decent but not great. I ordered the "Kai", which blended the acai base with strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and banana. It was tangy, sour because of the berries. I like it that way. On the other hand, the base has a texture more like a smoothie than the more solid ones I prefer, similar to sorbets. The granola on top was good but nothing special. The blueberries were big and delicious. In my experience, a great honey really puts an acai bowl over the top. The "Kai" did not feature any. If you are visiting and planning a trip to Boston and looking for recommendations (especially food), feel free to message me for my itinerary. You can also find the electronic copy through the link my profile.

Yelp
Jugos (pronounced Jew-Goes) was created to provide products of high nutritional value to JEWS like myself who are on the GO, hence the name. I actually have no friggin clue what Jugos means but I guess it has something to do with juice. EDIT: I know Jugos is Juice in Spanish. Why does everyone think I am a moron, god? I have only tried one of their fresh pressed juices and it is healthy, tasty, and packed with valuable nutrients. I noticed that their cleanses are cheaper than blueprint which has gained national recognition and has distribution through wholefoods. I will probably give one of these a try shortly. The real reason I come here is their Acai bowls. Health nuts will attest to the fact that acai is basically the magic berry. It helps with energy, mental agility, anti-aging, heart health, better skin, weight loss, and studies show that it helps promote better sex (get after it big boy). Also, it tastes fucking good when blended into a froyo type consistency. I like to go with the King Hubby as a post workout meal replacement. It has hemp protein, added berries, and coconut water for added hydration. I always add bee pollen as well for the extra protein and health benefits. I have also gone with a kai bowl. This is great if you are looking for a berry exciting bowl loaded up with various fruits. I suggest shaved coconut and granola for every acai bowl. That crunch makes it so much better. Couple of Location Notes: Please ignore the fact that the place is literally inside back bay station and bums and drug addicts hang out outside. Oh and you are basically cramped in a closet when waiting inside. Also do not drive here because there is nowhere to park. You are better off catching it after leaving backbay station or when passing through the area. Just try a bowl and change your life. You will keep wanting more.

Yelp
Got my first acai bowl ever today from jugos! I was amazed by how fresh and original it tastes. I ordered Kai, which is the berry-heavy one with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, banana and granola on top of the berry acai. I found it very refreshing. I also had #6 juice (spinach, kale, apple and lemon). No added flavors/sugar at all and you can taste the original sourness from the apple. The chia puddings and yogurt parfait look delicious as well. Overall the menu is very vegan and healthy. Definitely a go-to place for fresh smoothies and acai bowls, especially when you are in the mood for some light and healthy food. - 4-star cuz its slightly pricey (for broke college kids.) I ordered a small juice and an acai bowl and the total was $17 also the place is apparently renowned so the line was a little bit long, but the staff moved super fast.

Yelp
I am a loyal regular at Jugos. I come in here at least once or twice a week since it's delicious, healthy, and I work nearby. My personal favorite is the Waka Waka smoothie. It's an incredible combination of raspberries, strawberries, bananas, and coconut in cashew milk. I like that the Waka Waka is blended with cashew milk and not fruit juice because that saves me from the extra sugar I don't need. Everything on the menu is vegan, fresh, and delicious. I am very proud of their healthy menu. I feel like I'm having a cheat meal, but everything here is so healthy and fresh! Jugos is the perfect way to 'treat yo' self' without sacrificing your health. Additionally, the service at Jugos is excellent! The staff is always friendly and they're FAST. The line moves very quickly. I recently received a punch card that gives me 1 free 16 ounce smoothie with the purchase of 10 items. That's ITEMS, not PURCHASES. If I buy a smoothie and an acai bowl, that's 2 items and 2 punches on my card. I come here so often I feel they may lose money on this punch card deal with me lol. I'm already incentivized to come in, I love it!

Yelp
The Kai could be more exciting--it was pretty much a standard açaí bowl, nothing special. Granola wasn't as crispy as I was hoping, and the açaí melted pretty quickly. It was better than other açaí bowls I've had on the east coast though!
