See update below. Ordered for pickup. Got text it’d be ready at 4:22. At 4:25 I got there and the place was closed lights off and not a soul inside to tell me where my juices or refund was! Says online that they close at 4:45. I kinda get not taking orders 20 mins before close but they took my order and my money and told me what time to pick it up, so show me the juice!! Update: I wrote to customer service and they immediately refunded me and apologized and appreciated my taking the time to write to them so they can do a better job. I heart you, juice press!

Found the Juice Press after a tour of the Empire State Building. Was recommend the fountain of youth by the manager there which was great! Amazing customer service also.

Coming to this juice press actually makes my day every day. Gregory (who I believe is the manager) is the kindest man and provides such great service. I love juice press for its great selection of healthy food, but even more so for the hospitality coming from Gregory and the staff at this location. They are always smiling, helpful, and pleasant. I never want to get lunch anywhere else! I have sampled some off the menu flavors (chocolate mousse, peanut butter and jelly that are SO GOOD I hope they become actual menu items). It just really makes a difference grabbing lunch a few times a week and knowing you will come in to a warm welcome and positive atmosphere rather than other places where you are barely even greeted and trying to get you in and out as quick as possible. Love the staff, love the service, love the food!

It’s a scam. Went to pick us an order I had made since the day before from the “too good to go” app. Store was closed.

The blueberry genius smoothie was good. It had some pieces of blueberry that were not well blended, but it was good. Definitely filling. I liked the great service and how quick they made my order. The gentleman working there also subbed almond extract for almond butter with no extra charge which was really nice.

Refreshing plant based drinks. Highly recommended

Great location! Smoothies and service are excellent every time I go. On my most recent visit, I unwittingly left a valuable belonging on their bench. Luckily, a team member noticed and kept my item safe until I was able to pick it up the following morning. We had a laugh and I will now be able to enjoy my day! 🌈✨ Thank you Juice Press ESB!

The service here is 10/10. The lady who made my bowl was so so happy and friendly. I was having a weird day and she totally turned it around. Plus the bowl was soooo good!

This is my go to juice spot in the morning. Everything is very clean and easy to read. They have such a full menu with so many options. The service was very quick, and I love that! They also had smile them on their faces, which was nice.

Was told by an employee that I couldn't order a shake an hour before closing. Usually I'm a fan of this business but seems like employees don't care to work

The Juice Press Blue Magic smoothie is always solid. I've never been disappointed with it at any location. But lately I've been going out of my way to get it from this location because there is the nicest employee ever who works here. I believe his name tag says Gregory. He is so friendly and he's such a hard worker, he just makes my day! He makes the whole experience worth going a few blocks out of my way. If I owned a retail store he would be a dream come true employee- gems like him are hard to find. Thanks JP and Gregory!

This is my favorite lunch spot! The smoothies are always great and the service is even better! The staff is so friendly! They always send me back to work in a good mood!

I love juice press - all of their products and juices and smoothies. But sometimes this location just does not have it together. There were only four people in there waiting for their orders and 3 people working there and it took sooo long. I know they blend their smoothies and juices fresh but sometimes depending on the day and the workers, it is so slow. And I've gone with promotional emails I've received and the workers had no knowledge of the said promo that was currently going on and struggled to input it in the cash register. I ordered matcha latte and it took over 5 minutes. I could tell the people next to me waiting for their drinks were getting impatient as well. Two stars are going towards liking everything I've ordered. From their acai bowl to blue magic smoothie to their ginger fireball immune booster and even their snacks like their truffle popcorn.

Ok. First off GREGORY IS THE MAN! This man is fast, efficient, and so so kind. I work in ESB and go down for my Rehab Shot and my Fireball drinks and a few different smoothies pretty regularly, and I must say Gregory needs a raise. He is always moving quickly, his work ethic is impeccable. I of course love everything juice press makes (that I've tried so far) and his level of service just adds to it. Can we all just thank this man when we see him, please? He deserves it. The world needs more "Gregorys"

Their quality is not consistent. Some staff make really good stuff some don't. They need better training!!! Today I ordered açaí almond bowl. Looks like she added a whole jar of chocolate, no açaí at all. This is total waste of money.

Had to stop by here while I was in New York just after visiting the Empire State Building. I really wanted to see what all the hype was about but altogether I wasn't that amazed. I got a green veggie juice and though the juice did taste fresh, it wasn't to my liking. Had waaay too much lime that made it kinda really sour. I like that the drinks here aren't overly sweet and taste very natural and clean. However, I don't think that juice was worth the $8. Maybe it's cause I'm not from New York but I thought that was a ridiculous price tag for a veggie juice. I don't know if I'll be returning here when I visit New York again.

What a dump. I came here for a smoothie at 4:42pm today and the revolving door was locked. I went through the other and there was only one employee. All the fridges were empty, and I was told I would have to wait to order anything. This is nyc people. The employee locked the door after I entered and I had to be let out, when I decided I wouldn't be buying anything. Closing your doors at 4:42 when your hours say 7pm.? Seriously?!

Back in the office and happy to be back to getting my regular green light smoothie at this JP location. Always friendly service and fresh smoothies. Xavier was extra helpful today! See you all tomorrow for round two! :)

They're lucky there aren't better smoothie places close to my office. The smoothies take forever to make and they are overpriced ($10 for a 16oz smoothie). The workers are sometimes rude and they are definitely taking their time. They make and deliver the smoothies out of order (the guy that ordered minutes after me got his smoothie before me). They should do better or another smoothie place should open up and put them out of business. On the bright side, I always get the clean green protein and it tastes good.

Best juice shop in town - the juice / food is amazing (more below) but really the reason you should visit is the manager Gregory! Gregory is always super friendly and in a good mood so if you're feeling a bit down, stressed, or whatever he will pick you up and of course a cleansing juice also helps. I go pretty much every morning and end up staying sometimes for hours working on my phone, people watching, and talking to Gregory. It is really nice to step in from the hustle and bustle of NYC and relax for a bit - there is always nice music playing and no smell like some other juice shops. Now about the food: they got amazing and healthy waters, juices, smoothies, bowls, and snacks - everything you could want and great variety! Some days I want something really light so I get an activated charcoal water or ginger turmeric juice. Other days I want something a little heavier so I get a smoothie. And some days I want a healthy snack like dried fruit and they got that too. They also have a lot more including bowls so you should definitely stop by.

Wow. Gregory - not sure if he's the manager or not - but definitely should be. Very accommodating and personable. Was able to figure out what I wanted based on my vague descriptions on "something sweet but not too sweet" and custom make me a delicious post workout protein shake. Appreciate the work and effort that goes into making everything personable during rush hour when people can be more desensitized.

Love this juice press!! They just opened back up last week and the staff is the nicest, so quick and the pumpkin spice smoothie is to die for - must get for fall!!

Trash service, just trash. Only one person when I walked in working in the back doing the juices....apparently he also is the register person. The lady customer kept changing her mind over and over...the juice person still really gives no f---- we are standing there and finally asks what we want...then proceeds to tell us the soft serve "is not working" I really think that was fake news. Poor customer service, especially to tenants of ESB. I would not advise.

I'm so sad to see some of the 1-star reviews on here as my experiences have always been nothing but positive. Attentive, friendly employees and always a consistent product. (I utilize MealPal for my smoothie orders and they're always ready to go whenever I arrive!) A big shout-out to Haely and Gregory as well: when I was grabbing my smoothie, they were speaking to a customer who appeared to be a regular and the rapport they had with him was so refreshing. This customer clearly wouldn't be coming back as often as he appears to if there wasn't a solid product and a considerate staff. A+, y'all. Keep up the good work!

I come to this location often to get my morning smoothie and sometimes at lunch to grab a soup when I'm in a rush. The quality of their food is decent, enough for me to come fairly often. My issue is with THIS location. Why is the staff so cranky? There's only one guy I like and he used to be the cashier in the morning, but now he's always in the back by the blender. He's the nicest one there. Everyone else seems miserable, especially the morning cashier who has NEVER smiled, ever. I say this because I have worked in customer services and know exactly how the job works... 75% of it is presentation! I can totally understand that people have "off-days", but he's mad every single day with every single person. Super unapproachable! Tip for the company, hire welcoming people!

Shakes are good, service is the worst on 33rd St.Slow slower than a snail and no personalities

Probably the best customer I have ever received! I stopped by after my workout to find that they were closed, and Gregory saw me standing outside and opened up just to make me a smoothie! Not only that, but he was very kind and overall had amazing energy. This experience made my day.

Tried the mint shamrock, was delicious and filling - needed a quick on the go late lunch and it was perfect. Super nice guy working there, highly recommend!

Suggestion - Since the person who works the register is the same person who prepares the soup order, a hair net would be ideal. If not, then maybe required to wear their hair pulled back and not flying everywhere around the food. Also I think having a well trained, professional manager in the location would be ideal; as opposed to not having anyone.

Just tried to go here to grab a juice but they're closed. It's 6:39pm and their hours say it should be open until 7...? What's with closing the entire storefront 20 minutes early in the middle of New York City lol ? Doesn't seem like great business practice if you ask anyone. If this is due to employee laziness please address this with your staff, if this is due to misrepresented times then please update your website and google.

New Manager makes all the difference. I work in the Empire State Building, so the location is super convenient. The smoothies and bowls have always been delicious, but the service was always lacking. Since Gregory started the staff has been a lot more friendly and attentive. He's really turned the place around.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The drinks are made with care and the premises are very clean and welcoming. This is the best Juice Press I have been to.

I haven't been here in over a year and now I remember why. I wanted something light so decided I'd grab a smoothie for lunch. I check out the menu online first. I arrive at the store and the menu is different...that's fine. 3 people standing in the back and no one comes to the register until several more customers walk in the door and are waiting behind me. The girl that comes to the register doesn't greet me just kind of looks at me like "you know what to do." So I order the blueberry smoothie. She takes my payment, no receipt offered or given. She then walks over the a refrigerator and hands me a smoothie that was pre-made. Not a huge deal because I assume maybe they make ahead some of the popular smoothies and have them ready during lunch. She asks what my name is and I tell her then she calls my name as if I wasn't standing right there and hands me the smoothie. I walk back to my office thinking the smoothie definitely tastes like it has almond butter and cinnamon in it. I look at the menu and it's a chocolate keto smoothie? Not even close to what I ordered. I can see how if you're making smoothies to order they might get mixed up but if you're just grabbing it out of a fridge you should get the right one. Threw the $11 smoothie in the trash. Will not return.

normally i really like juice press (i go to the one on 63rd) but i went to this location today because it's near my office. service was fine, but almost everything was gone from the pre-made refrigerator and the green light smoothie i ordered definitely doesn't taste as good as it normally does. it is too thick, has a different taste, and has chunks in it that weren't blended properly. i wont go back to this location.
