The absolute best smoothie bowl in Chicago. No refined sugar. Dairy free. Delish. Great portion. I am always so full after. I used to live in Chicago and went to juice rx daily. It was apart of my identity. This place is so gooooood! You need to try the Harlem monkey bowl and add extra peanut butter. They did use to put crunchy banana chips on top of that bowl , but when I visited recently, they got rid of that. So add banana chips on top too when you order!!!!

From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding—super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about their menu. You can tell they truly care about quality and making sure every customer has a great experience. I ordered the Tuscan Toast with sprouts, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The crunch of the toast paired with the avocado spread and fresh sprouts made every bite amazing. I also tried the Old World Order Smoothie, and it was next-level good! Rich, smooth, and packed with nutrients, it had the perfect blend of flavors that tasted refreshing. To top it all off, I had a ginger shot, which was the perfect immune boost. The atmosphere is clean, inviting, and has a great vibe, making it a perfect spot to grab something healthy while on the go or to sit and enjoy your meal! The quality of the ingredients really shines through in everything they make, and it’s clear they prioritize fresh, nourishing, and thoughtfully crafted food and drinks. I also met one of the workers there, and his name is Abraham. He is very friendly and came up and greeted me, and asked me about my day and experience so far in Chicago since I am not from there. I placed a delivery order from California last night for an early morning delivery to an office in busy Downtown Chicago. I had concerns about my order not being delivered on time. I sent an email after my order was placed to JuiceRX customer service main email asking to confirm the delivery time. I thought since it was a general customer service email, I likely wouldn't hear back for several days or at all. However to my surprise, their customer service team responded to me at 8am PT to coordinate and ensure my order would be delivered on time. JuiceRx has best in class service and my friend also told me that the Harlequin Monkey Bowl was amazing. I highly recommend JuiceRx, they have great service, care about their customers and have excellent food and drink options! Thank you JuiceRx!

I wanted a healthy snack before dinner and this establishment is directly across the street from the hotel I am staying at, couldn’t be more perfect. I walk in to this contemporary polished cafe, and I can’t help but love how clean it is, and the welcoming smile from the cashier. I took me a while to make a decision, so I got assistance from the him. Si recommended his favorites and of course, that’s what I ordered. The Fire Brigade had the perfect amount of spice and sweetness to it, a different taste to my palette, and I enjoyed it. The Tuscan Toast really put me in Italy, it was flavorful and the perfect size. Again, great recommendations, thanks Si!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic experience with Juice RX recently! I ordered through Uber Eats, but unfortunately, my order didn’t get delivered. I reached out to the store, and the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. They immediately understood the situation and went above and beyond to help me. Megan, the manager, was especially impressive. She was efficient, quick to respond, and super friendly while resolving the issue. A replacement order (6 smoothies!) was re-assembled a few minutes before their closing time! I really appreciate the excellent customer service and the kindness shown by the entire team. I’ll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend Juice RX to anyone looking for delicious juices and a great experience! Thank you, Megan and team!

Food was good, service was quick, gave atmosphere a 1 because there was nonstop singing by a worker while we were eating out bowls. Couldn't hear my conversation with my friend over the obnoxious singing. Otherwise good experience.

Came here hoping to grab a quick açai bowl since there were a couple of customers in there. Even with 4 staff they never looked up to great, service was super slow and you can tell they did not want to be there. The açai bowl was mediocre to say the least. The açai base was off and too many toppings that made the bowl way too fancy. Keep it simple with what Hawaiians do for a great bowl. Tried to order a coffee with soy but they don’t carry.

The açaí bowl is freshly made on-site—it takes a little time, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. The staff are friendly, and the food is well-packaged for takeout. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place to wake up to! I got the Green Dream smoothie (coconut water, lemon, spinach) and Honey Glazed Matcha bowl (similar thing but with matcha and spirulina) and they were refreshing for breakfast. Things are not overly sweet, so they do not give you a sugar rush and crash. Tip: Try adding their coconut whipped cream or blueberry coconut whipped to a bowl for a whimsical topping.

A body's sigh of relief! The service is fast, good, and you just feel you are doing something really good for yourself with the first sip! Food is healthy and delicious. Was drinking a lot the night before. Drank the hangover elixir and was instantly feeling better. My favorite is the Tumeric juice. Wish they had one close to home.

We ordered food for take out since this place offered vegan options. We got their avocado toast, a green juice, and an orange juice since we wanted something small for breakfast. It all tasted really fresh and great! I liked how the green juice had coconut in it! The OJ was amazing. The bread was healthy and delicious. I would order from this place again.

Just got to Chicago a couple hours ago and was looking for a place to get a protein smoothie after a workout. Was lucky to see there was one 300 ft from my hotel. Only one person in line and both workers were helpful with everything i asked. Was looking for almond butter, banana and protein and almost everything had a variation. I was nervous since i dont usually mix darker berries in but they were right whenthey recommended one that was delicious the "Maca Protein". They also have a pretty big selection of other items from protein bites, to açaí bowls and different kinds of protein packed toast that i may come back for. Definitely will be back throughout the week for the peanut butter cup, no complaints from me

Smooth, creamy, with a bit of crunch and so decadent and healthy. Who said you can't have the best of two worlds?? It's definitely on the pricey side but it's in a popular part of Chicago so that's to be expected. I stopped by here after many runs I did during the 100 degrees weather weeks.. and the delicious smoothies were worth every sip! They can customize them to your liking if you want to swap out certain ingredients. Service was super friendly and recognized my sweaty face after my second visit which made me laugh. I especially loved the maca protein smoothie. Take my money.

Stopped into this location of JuiceRx for a post-workout pick-me-up on a weekday afternoon. After taking my time looking at the selections in the cooler, I opted for the Liquid Lunchbox. The ingredients listed cucumber, pear, romaine, ginger, and cinnamon, but I could also detect turmeric - a bonus for its anti-inflammatory properties. The juice was not overly sweet, and I appreciated that it was balanced, not tasting like a wheatgrass shot or a lawn. I can't wait to return to try some of the bowls and coffee drinks on offer!

Get it together, Gen Z! This was the most spastic, unorganized, delayed service...and two days in a row, so it's not an off day. Orders that were supposed to take 10 took 40+, and only because they kept deciding to combine orders of other people based on ordering the same bowl vs completing an individual order at a time...which drastically compounds wait time (duh!) That's why it was 40 min not 10...because you made 4 extra bowls. Someone please train these kids to finish an order...it's honestly not worth the hassle of the horrible service to come here. Just wanted to warn folks if you do, deeply lower your expectations for basic employee competency.

One of my favorite spots to come to for a juice or açaí bowl right after I teach yoga next door! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the products! Reason I give it three stars is due to the long wait for an açaí bowl. There are several times where I'll wait close to 20 mins for my bowl, and when I try and go preorder, it's always "sold out". Wish it wasn't that long for the wait because they are delicious!

As a green smoothie lover, I was disappointed with our experience here. I spent $13 on a smoothie, the green dream. They were very busy & we waited about 15 minutes for our drinks-which isn't a problem, but we did not get what was advertised. It is a very small, crowded indoor space. It's hard to order, ask questions about the menu or talk to staff with the sound of blenders constantly going off. The Smoothie was very bland for being advertised as a sweet green smoothie. It wasn't even blended properly, I had multiple large chunks of fruit in the cup. It's disappointing because we asked staff for recommendations and the drinks we got were very mediocre. Another friend ordered a coffee and it was not a good roast. I love the concept of this place, but it's not worth the price. I didn't even finish my drink, $13 wasted. Make your green smoothies at home.

Organic and vegan friendly shop even though I am not vegan. I went into this place for the juice only and it was delicious. The staff super friendly and very clean space if you want to sit inside and enjoy your juice or açaí bowl.

Horrible customer service. Food is good but employees need to greet or at least acknowledge a customer is waiting to be helped. This isn't the first time. I've waited and not been helped. I thought I'd give them a second chance because the açaí bowl are great but no way I'm going back again because of my experience. I preordered my food on the app and it said my food was ready for pick up. I go in the store and the cashier does not help me at all. She goes to the back to work. If I was told someone will be with me soon, I would be very understandable but being ignored in unacceptable. Ps...this is not a scam. I live around the corner and visited the store. Just wrote about my experience.

Was visiting Chicago and wanted healthy breakfast - goi d this place. Their place is small and clean - very health conscious (mask required). We got the fruit alchemist and it was mind blowing. Very yummy! Oh and get their maple leaf latte - very nice! Check this place out - you're welcome!!! Lol

The food/bowl was outstanding. It was delicious, and very filling and satisfying. I had the Harlequin bowl (peanut butter, chocolate, etc.) was delicious. Very high quality ingredients, and tasty combinations. They do need to get their staffing a bit better bc it did take almost 30-40 minutes from waiting, ordering to receiving the order. What should be a quick stop, becomes almost 40 minute commitment to get your items. Thats as long as sitting down and getting a meal. Lots of people walked out bc it took so long to just order. So they should engage an expert on how to best take orders and deliver faster.

All hail, Mason! Mason is incredibly dedicated and goes above and beyond to help customers. I had a gift card that wasn't loading and Mason was so diligent and figuring out how to make it work and making sure I was able to receive the full value of my gift card. Even when busy, Mason is able to keep their cool and work efficiently to manage and help the other stuff. They are lucky to have an employee like Mason!

Juice RX is a great place to try if you're looking for a healthier quick and easy breakfast option! The smoothies are solid and the bowls are bomb! Give 'em a try! For recs, I highly recommend the Matcha Bowl! For those of you who don't really like matcha or aren't big on that flavor...Hear me out, it's NOT 'matcha-y' or overpowering at all. The first time I tried it, I took a chance because, sometimes matcha CAN be very overpowering. Glad I gave it a try because this bowl was so darn good! I also recommend the Black Phoenix if you're looking to combine bfast with your love of cold brew. It slaps! Enjoy!

After seeing a tiktok promoting the Harlequin Monkey Acai Bowl, I was hooked! It's so good! This location of JuiceRX is great and they always have my order ready when I order on the app (even when they're busy). 100% recommend!

It was so good ! I loved the place , the service and the açãi bowl was really good Ambiance was good . I eat inside because it was too hot for me but they have a nice outdoor space

JuiceRx is my go-to place to get my favorite bowl, which is the Banana Dragon! The base of this bowl is super light and creamy without a bitter aftertaste that some berry bases may have. The toppings complement the base very well and provide a nice variety of textures with each spoonful. The juiciness of the fresh fruits on top is a nice contrast to the crunchiness of the shredded coconut. In addition to being delicious, the Banana Dragon also looks very colorful and aesthetically pleasing with its purple base and light blue whipped cream on top, which makes for great pictures! One thing to note about this particular JuiceRx location is that it closes relatively early (at 3 pm) so you will need to plan accordingly. I am definitely looking forward to being a regular here as the weather heats up in the coming months. Hopefully, I will get the chance to try some of the other bowls and items on the menu, but I do find myself repeatedly ordering the Banana Dragon because it is so great!

They have premade juices in the frig which are $10.50 to $11. Many seem to come with Thai coconut. They also have bowls and smoothies. Got the Old World Order which was great except it was quite liquid. Should be colder and thicker. It was quite sweet so they should cut down on the dates if they're catering to healthier crowd. Pricey as another review said. $12 for a smoothie.

Great smoothies but absolutely horrible service. Workers are rude and condescending. Love the food and want to come back but the workers attitude makes it hard. If you're spending $15 on an açaí bowl, you should at least get a kind attitude. It's not hard to be nice.

This is by far the best açaí bowl I've had! While it is a bit pricy, I would say it's worth it for the quality. The Harlequin Monkey bowl and fruit alchemist bowl had tons of tasty toppings that were all natural. The workers were super friendly and helpful in choosing out different items. I also picked up some bottled juice and kale chips to try later. Perfect location to stop in and grab some healthy vegan options.

Yummy juices and bowls. This location is right by corepower yoga so super convenient after some yoga! I got the green dream which was described as light and refreshing-- it definitely was! I like how you can customize the drinks by adding boosts or, if you're like me, take out the ginger. The green dream was fruity and had a kick of sour due to the lemon. All in all great location albeit slightly pricey but nothing out of the norm for healthy smoothies (12.5$)

Looking for a healthier breakfast option and this was located near my hotel. Stepped over on a weekday morning. They have refrigerators filled with fresh juices, nut milks, etc. that looked amazing but pricey. (Thai young coconut water $9?) Was torn between a smoothie or bowl, but saw the ingredients of the Harlequin Monkey bowl and had to give it a try. Açaí, almond milk, bananas, blueberries, peanut butter, medjool dates, and topped with housemade raw granola, chocolate, raw cacao drizzle, banana, dried banana chips, cacao chips, honey & bee pollen. Took a bit to make, but it's a quiet and peaceful little shop while you wait. I decided to eat it there at the bar seating looking at the street (they have tables, too). This is a massive meal and tastes like dessert. So, yes, it was delicious. Soooo good. I ate way more than expected, but still couldn't finish it. This would have been a good one to share with someone. I tried a different spot for breakfast the next day and regretted not returning.

Twice now it's taken 30 min for a smoothie. If they can't keep up w in store orders they should stop taking the online ones.

The bowls may pricey but it's worth every cent for the amount, flavor and freshness. All of their menu items are dairy free!

The acai bowls here are interesting, but not amazing. I got the harlequin monkey, and while the flavors of the toppings all blended well with the acai, the ratio of toppings to acai was off, with half of the bowl consisting of the toppings. The acai itself was also a bit icy and slightly melted when they gave it to us, which was definitely a bit disappointing. While the flavors of this bowl weren't necessarily my personal favorite, I can see why this is a customer favorite.

I was here for a work trip and wanted a healthy breakfast to go. My hotel was across the street so it was very convenient. I ordered a green smoothie. It was delicious and the service was great. A little pricey but in line with the other smoothie shops nearby. I would go back!

Stopped by Juice Rx for a light breakfast and the açaí bowl truly added brightness to a gloomy Sunday. I went in person, and was greeted by staff and able to order right there. Everyone there practiced social distancing and other safety precautions and the staff made it easy to order, and had quick turn around in how quickly they prepared the order. I ended up landing on the Fruit Alchemist, and I was shocked at how amazing it was. It was apple juice, cherry, banana, strawberry, and pomegranate açaí, topped with a very crunchy granola which added great crunch/texture throughout the entire bowl, strawberries, blueberries, banana, almond butter, shredded coconut, goji berries, bee pollen, and coconut whip. I also added peanut butter for an addition 50 cents. This was a very quality açaí bowl. Potentially the best I have ever had. The texture of the açaí was spot on, the fruit was layered and paired well, and the almond/peanut butter added nutty flavor to the tartness from the berries. My favorite part was the granola, it was very crunchy, had good flavor and just added overall great character to the bowl. It was pretty pricey, about 15 dollars however, they do not skimp you on and fill the bowl literally to the top. It was such a healthy and refreshing treat, a light way to start my morning and I was very full after eating. Thanks Juice Rx! I highly recommend, go get you some.

Visiting and absolutely enjoyed this plant based gem for breakfast! We ordered the Superfood toast and Black Phoenix to drink. Highly recommend trying these. The staff working were very friendly as well.

While I see there are many positive reviews, I had a few issues here. First service was a bit slow. The inside is small and very congested and no one asked if I needed any help with selection as it was very obvious I needed a bit more assistance. Every drink I saw was made with almond milk and coconut milk with not much variance and just not my preference. They do have espresso but they do not have decaf. One item was around $13. Also they don't open until 8 am which is a bit late if you plan on getting a drink after a workout especially if you have a job that starts early.

Tried to order avocado toast and a iced coffee, but they were out of avocados and completely out of ice. Then tried to order a mocha, which was also unavailable. Don't wast your time here!

This is a great little place to grab breakfast or a juice. We came for the açaí bowls but were pleasantly surprised to see they had an array of juices and cleanses as well. We love the healthier options for meals and this is a must visit place!

I can NOT contain my excitement about my FAVORITE acai bowl in the city, finally opening up right down the street from my house!! HALLELUJAH. Alright.... now that I got that out of my system, on to the good stuff. On my first trip, I of course went with the Fruit Alchemist acai bowl. You cannot go wrong with an acai smoothie base, covered with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, goji berries, bee pollen, coconut shreds, (housemade?!) granola, coconut whipped cream, honey and a healthy drizzle of almond butter. YUM. Yes, it is pricey, but you are getting fresh fruit and to me, it's enough food to satisfy my hunger. This location is also great because they have a cute seating area closer to the gym side, with a dining room table and couches to relax on. Even the man working the counter seemed happy to be here. They also offer pre-bottled juices, homemade kale chips, spiced almonds, and healthy dessert options. Some of the desserts I saw included raw coconut or chocolate truffles, with the ingredients listed right there on the label for you to check out. I love that they are sweetened with things other than raw sugar (blehh). Next time I come in (which most likely will be sooner than later...) I want to try the Keto Acai bowl. One of the only places I have seen around the city that offers and advertises a keto/low carb friendly meal. Overall, I'm super happy JuiceRx expanded to Lincoln Park, and I'm excited to try pretty much everything on the menu. :). Will update as I do!

I love this place: their smoothies are great and I know their workers are absolutely doing their best. But they desperately need to hire more people or change their workflow. It took them 30 mins (I know because I got an ereceipt) to make my smoothie at an off time which is most of my lunch break. Update: I did not know there was an app, which is very useful to know for the future! I wrote this review in a moment of frustration, so I'll add some good things. Their smoothies and bowls are excellent; slightly pricier than some other places but with everything you get on them it's SO worth it. The people are always super nice too, and it's locally owned! In the future, I will order ahead and I'd recommend others do the same :)

I stopped in recently for a Supreme-ly Green and some dark chocolate. It was my first time there. The store is nice and the staff was friendly. I love the labels on the bottles. They have many different types of juice. I tend to stick with the low-sugar ones because I like my sugar in the form of cake but they have something for everyone.

I came here for coffee and want to shoutout the workers on staff. Thank you for providing quality service that enforces the health and safety of not only your customers but the staff as well. Unfortunately I witnessed a not so great interaction from another customer re: the mandate but they handled it with professionalism and kindness. I appreciate those who can provide great service given the stressful times we're in. Thank you for the yummy cup of coffee and the steps you've taken to keep the general public safe.

Such a hidden gem in downtown Chicago! Very fresh ingredients, creative combinations, tasty flavor, not to mention it's super healthy! This little shop definitely made our pizza city trip less guilty and more rejuvenated :) we fell in love with it on our first visit so we came back again the next morning (not common for me as a tourist)! We ordered: Green Magnolia - a life changing green smoothie! Tasty and healthy! Rejuva Root - a red mix juice of beets, apple, etc. Not the best taste if you're not a beet lover. Black Phoenix - a creamy and chocolate taste smoothie with all good stuff added! The correct way to start an energetic morning! Harlequin Monkey - probably the most popular açaí bowl here. I can't say it's healthy given all the peanut butter/Nutella/nuts/banana... but it's sooo delicious! Avocado Toast - topped with pomegranate, very special and yummy taste. I hope one day they can have a location in Boston! I will def go more often! Don't forget to check in via Yelp to get some discount/perks!

I found this place on Yelp while I was in Chicago and decided to give it a try.. its such a cute little shop with lots of variety. Food, drinks, elixirs, juices, smoothies, etc etc... I was surprised by how much they had to offer! I picked up a bottle of the HANGEROVER elixir and the GUT elixir-- you can guess my reasoning. Reasonably priced at around $6 each and a nice qty. If I lived in Chitown I would be here all the time. The staff was really friendly as well, and there is lots of other things to do on that same street.

I will start by saying the bowls and smoothies were delicious, the reason for the one star was the attitude of at least one employee. A woman came in after I got my bowls and ordered her bowls she then tried to pay with cash and was told that they only took exact cash payments or card. Not an issue until the employee who told her this began to mock the woman as she walked out, obviously already embarrassed, with smart ass remarks like "we don't even have a register bro". Obviously this young man has no sympathy and shouldn't be dealing with customers. I definitely won't be coming back here after hearing that.

I came to get a smoothie and was amazed by the selection of smoothies and juices! I had the green dream and I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice blend of fruits and greens. The ginger gives it a nice kick and the pineapple was an interesting twist to the smoothie. When you come here, you can get the juices in a cute glass bottle. My friends had the coconut water and they could not stop raving about it. I cannot wait to be back for a healthy drink and snack next time.

Owner Dean happened to be there during my first visit. I got a hangover elixir and a Banana Dragon bowl Great products and great service! This place should be in Los Angeles! I wish this place was in Boston. I was only able to go once but there was so many things I wanted to try. If I ever make it back out to Chicago I will absolutely be taking another trip to JuiceRx!

We ordered take out from here and the avocado toast was not good. I can make better avocado toast at home. I'd try the juice / smoothies since it's in a completely other category but wouldn't get the avocado toast again.
