The Best Crawfish In Houston

"Eating at Juicy Crawfish in the Third Ward means being OK with getting your hands dirty. At this Cajun-Creole spot, expect to be sucking crawfish heads in a restaurant decorated to look like the inside of a fishing trap. The “table cloths” are white construction paper ripped from a roll on the wall. The walls are also lined with messages from customers written in Sharpie. When it comes to the crawfish served here, the best way to get them is with the “Juicy Special” seasoning (a combination of the lemon pepper, garlic butter, and original flavors) and as spicy as you can stand them." - gianni greene, chelsea thomas

Yet Another Purveyor of Spicy, Buttery Crawfish Hits Houston Next Year - Eater Houston

"Juicy Crawfish just inked a new deal to bring its crustaceans and fried foods to a sprawling retail hub near Texas Medical Center. The Texas-born crawfish purveyor hails from College Station, where it currently operates two locations. Its latest 4,400-square-foot site at Renaissance Center is scheduled to arrive early next year at 6102 Scott Street. Along with its seasonal namesake crustacean, Juicy Crawfish serves lobster tail, green mussels, and oysters, doused with lemon pepper or garlic butter seasonings and spice levels that peak at XXX (“Can’t Feel My Mouth”). Offerings also include Cajun wings, fried seafood baskets, and chicken tenders. The restaurant’s surf-and-turf combo deal at existing locations includes half-pound helpings of snow crab leg, shrimp, crawfish, and sausage, alongside three pieces of potatoes and one ear of corn ($31.99). And from noon to 5 p.m. on weekdays this summer, beers are ridiculously cheap ($1). Juicy Crawfish is set to make its debut in March 2020. Stay tuned for an official opening date." - Tierney Plumb

Every time I come here, the food is quality, really good taste, and decent pricing. The service is top tier, each and every time I come! I get to-go, and the individuals at the register are so kind and friendly. We don’t experience a lot of friendliness nowadays; I’m grateful for the service every time I’m here.

Food was fresh and crispy. The water had a great taste. The parking lot was a bit crowded like a hang out spot. Overall recommend.

Quiet restaurant, food was mediocre. Appeared to be limited on staff. Though it was not busy there were only 2 on front line. You seat yourself but I stood in line to ask because I did not know. Even though I had a boil bag I would of liked a fork but was not given any utensils and never saw the server again after she brought our food. Had to walk to the register to get to go boxes, refills and check out.

Food was delicious, you don't get a lot for the money, but I really liked this place! Staff was amazing and helpful, (I believe my waiter's name was Nick) I couldn't have gotten a better waiter, he was off the chain! The beignets are delicious 🤤😋 and so hot when they bring them out, reminded me of Louisiana! I highly recommend going there if you're in the area or wanting some seafood.

Definitely order online & not DoorDash. I didn’t realize the huge price difference till after. The food was good! However the shrimp can be a bit mushy.

We love Juicy! Our go-to order is the shrimp with no head, medium cajun spice and the fried fish basket. It is always so tasty with just the right amount of spice. We also love the waiter named Nick because he is always so welcoming and friendly. They do not offer ice tea and they have Pepsi products, so I just get their pink lemonade. Overall this place is a favorite of ours and we will keep coming back!

Soooo salty omg I can’t even eat it. They usually do a good job but this is just horrible! And I paid $20.55 for all of this I am pissed. I’ll just stick to their beignets and Magaritas cause this ain’t it
