Lovely little place with great food and service. The employees are busy, but seem happy. I appreciate the many vegan options. If you ask, they’ll kindly escort you to the restroom in the back. Close to the highway if traveling through.

Tiny seating for about 12 indoors in the winter so you might have to wait on a Sunday. But worth it! Grab a delicious coffee while you wait and hang out and chat with other people in line. Fun vibe here. When I got my "omelet of the day" and saw a Brussel Sprout peep out I thought "Oh Yeah! My kind of place". Then a salad with a slice of watermelon radish. Oh yeah again. Loved the delicious bread and the cheese on the omelet was especially rich and tasty. Everything here is a step above. I'm fussy about my coffee and don't generally get it out because it's so ordinary. But this is anything but ordinary. It's freshly ground and exceptionally good. Most folks that stay to eat in versus carryout eat and leave so the next person in line can come to a table. You shouldn't plan to linger on a busy Sunday. We'll go back for sure and hopefully be able to eat outdoors. Love this place.

After returning for our second visit in a year, I can confidently say that The Juicy Kitchen is one of the best brunch spots we've tried in MI. From the food to the service and hospitality, everything is exceptional. The owner, who greeted us warmly, is incredibly welcoming and communicative. The staff members are friendly, warm, and extremely helpful. Words can't quite capture how wonderful this place is. Don't be surprised by its small size and tucked-away location in a plaza, it's truly a hidden gem in Ann Arbor!

Google
We recently visited for breakfast and the food is incredible. Fresh and healthy. My wife had a breakfast burrito and I had one of their specials. There is limited seating but they do offer takeout which appears to be very popular here. If your in the area give this place a try. You will not be sorry.

Google
The food was sooo fresh and sooo good. Recommend by a lot of ppl from Ann Arbor menu I took my cousins and they loved it too. Their lentil crisp salad was delicious. We will go there again. Wait was a little too much but worth waiting for this amazing food.

Google
Juicy Kitchen definitely has a great Ann Arbor vibe. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful with menu selections, including daily specials. Food is good (not great) and plentiful. Seating is cozy. Several healthy selections are available. Be sure to try the energy balls, they are delish.

Google
Always the most delicious, fresh made food!! Every thing is made from scratch and made with love! My favorite coffee drink is the Indian spec latte, it’s amazing! The staff here is so friendly and so welcome! And I love the owner, Kelby! She’s such a beautiful soul!! OK

Google
Fantastic first experience. Great varied menu, friendly service, perfect poached egg, gorgeous cortado.

Yelp
absolutely loved the tempeh scramble bake at juicy kitchen. the staff was so incredibly kind and helpful. the service was a little slow--but the flavor definitely makes up for it. there isn't very many vegan places in ann arbor, so this is a must-try!!

Yelp
We arrived here after the start of the midday brunch crowd. We liked that's it's located at its own plaza and thus it has its own parking lot. The Scottish Oat cakes looked good here for me. My husband was feeling like more an omelet or skillet.

Yelp
Hands down, they make the best tarragon chicken salad sandwich I've ever had! Absolutely delicious! Everything else was delightful too! You order at the counter and the food is brought to you. It's tiny inside so most people take away or eat outside. The staff was friendly and helpful!

Yelp
This Thanksgiving season, I am thankful for Juicy Kitchen and its wonderful food and super friendly employees and its owner Kelby (who always has a cheerful smile). It is a wonderful spot for breakfast or brunch on a cold and sunny Michigan morning before game day! Recent favorites are: breakfast burrito with chicken sausage substitute option and brown sugar cardamom latte. To know ahead of time : Bc it is a small shop, there is a tiny amount of indoor seating, and some more outdoor seating with heaters. Order ahead and review their menu at https://www.juicykitchen-a2.com/ They should put a QR code to this site in their shop for when it is really crowded!

Yelp
This place sneaks up on you when you are driving up. It's right after the gas station. Small inside so not much for seating but the food and coffee were delicious. The #3 sandwich was very unique and good. I thought it might not be enough so I ordered a side of potatoes and then it was all too much. Sandwich was plenty big enough

Yelp
Wonderful local breakfast/lunch place in Ann Arbor. Excellent vegan and vegetarian options--had the hash with tempeh and it was delightful. Also ordered the pina-kale-ada smoothie and it was so good I had to order a 2nd for the road. People are so sweet too, they brought out blankets for the crisp fall weather while we dined outside. Excited to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
Gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarians look no further!!! This healthy breakfast cafe offers so many yummy options for all diets. For being a smaller establishment, I was amazed with their menu selection. Highly encourage the JK Benedict and the cinnamon vanilla latte. Location and seating: tucked in a tiny strip mall in Ann Arbor; not on campus! Don't get it twisted. It's right next to a speedway gas station so that's your landmark. They have minimal indoor seating that could make you feel very crammed during a morning or lunch rush. They have more outside seating than indoor; which makes it a bit hard to do during winter months. They do have patio heaters though. This is my only reason for the reduced star. They need a little more indoor seating room; especially for being in cold Michigan. I would ultimately go with a curbside order. Food: oh my gosh....DELICIOUS!!!! I am in love with their coffee. Totally hooked. And it is amazingly healthy. They use local procedure and put effort into their craft. It's to die for. Staff: SO kind!!!! They didn't just toss your food on the counter; she walked it out to me while I waited at the table. So sweet and pleasant. Parking. Private lot with more parking around the back and corner.

Yelp
I have to say that juicy kitchen was outstanding, I felt it was great for the food that they gave me. It was healthy service was excellent ambience was great.

Emily A.

Yelp
Super cute little cafe! Lots of fresh options, lots of healthy options especially if u follow certain diets, they are very accommodating. The classic breakfast was good, yummy potatoes and delicious toast. Poached eggs were cooked a bit more than i'd prefer but nonetheless it was still good. Susan's breakfast was also good from what I heard. The iced matcha and iced mocha lattes were also both delicious. Great food and vibe, kind staff, I would definitely come back!!!

Yelp
fire. great food and great service. good music. seating limited but it's not a big deal get over it. wish i had one of these where i live

Yelp
I drove a long way to try something new and even though the food tasted ok I had to give 3 stars for the following reasons. - Using Old vintage cups and plates for serving (These could have lead in them! I hope I catch the attention of the owners; this is such a huge health risk coming from a healthy eating spot??? Cancer is on the rise! no need to be serving food and beverages from old gold rimmed plates sucha a health Hazzard! please invest in new sets of plates and cups! - Pricing for a small portion of food is a bit steep! -Service was decent

Yelp
I've written it in other reviews but one of the things I miss most about dining out is breakfast and brunch. A hearty plate of eggs, pancakes, and more...that I didn't have to make? Perfection! Juicy Kitchen was one of our go-to brunch places before the pandemic and now it's become one of our favorite takeout places. They have a really easy online ordering system on their website and curbside pick up to boot. It's nice to have something healthy for breakfast, too! Last time we ordered I went with the breakfast quesadilla with a side of bacon (I LOVE their bacon) and a seasonal special--the vegan pumpkin cinnamon roll. Oh and one of their cinnamon lattes. It's was all fantastic. Takeout breakfast can be hit or miss but there's is a real hit. My only complaint? I wish they would put their oatmeal back on the menu! A big bowl of their tasty oatmeal with a side of bacon and a latte? Truly one of my favorite breakfasts! But everything I've ever had on the menu has been really excellent.

Yelp
Driving 45 minutes for a brunch is really worth it! This place is a hidden gem in Ann Arbor and the staff are really friendly and polite! ( That's my second review for this place!)

Yelp
This place is a GEM. The eggs Benedict and the breakfast burrito were 10/10. I already can't wait til we pass through again. The staff were so friendly. We had the best experience. I don't leave many yelp reviews, but I HAD to leave one for this treasure of a restaurant.

Yelp
I guess there's a reason for the long waits here on weekends. Delicious food, affordable, in a cute homey little space. Came here with a good friend and enjoyed our time despite being pretty cramped. Had a delicious chai latte and a bacon egg scramble so full of flavor I could hardly believe it. A fresh salad and delicious toast and jam to accompany. What could be more perfect?

Yelp
This was my first time here and I got the Breakfast Burrito, it was very very good I would definitely recommend with the chicken sausage. The service was nice and quick and all the workers were kind and kept checking if we needed anything else. It's also vegan friendly so this is a pretty good place for anyone.

Yelp
Amazingly good!, very chill vibe friendly, helpful service. We had breakfast and I ordered #2 breakfast slider. The sandwich bread looked dry at fist however, looks were deceiving, it was very moist and a perfect compliment to the eggs and zesty sauce. I just might order the #3 slider (with bacon) next time. My wife order the BLT and she was very satisfied. FYI the BLT came loose in a basket. While I ordered a coffee which was a good blend my wife took her time with the smoothie menu and ordered an absolutely fantastic Mexican Chocolate...1 word... WOW... deliciousness with a spicy kick.

Diane D.

Yelp
The food was really good but way over priced. No way anybody should be paying more than $10 for any of their breakfast items including any breakfast burrito, quesadilla, quiche, or a small portion of French toast.

Yelp
Super fresh and healthy and yummy. Highly recommend. Just about anything you get will taste delicious and make you feel good after you eat!

Yelp
Trying a new lunch spot is always a treat, and after a tip from a friend, another friend and I headed to Juicy Kitchen to check the place out. Tucked away in a small strip mall at the corner of Maple and Miller Rds, Juicy Kitchen nonetheless has a large parking lot with spaces extending around the building. After cracking our windows and putting up our windshield shades due to the extreme heat, we headed into the restaurant to peruse the menu. We were greeted by a friendly employee who promptly took our order. Great minds think alike and we both decided on the JK Club before snagging a seat at a bistro table outside. It was a pleasant day in the shade, and in no time our sandwiches arrived. The first thing I noticed was how fresh the ingredients looked, and the taste didn't disappoint either. The sandwich was on a delicious hearty bread that packed a satisfying flavor and texture to the food. We went omnivore on our visit but there are a variety of vegan and vegetarian options for those who prefer. I'll look forward to our next visit to Juicy Kitchen and trying something new and delicious!

Dagmar M.

Yelp
Delicious! Everything on the menu sounded yummy and the four breakfasts we tried were not disappointing. Easy friendly atmosphere and service plus many seating options and great coffee. We will be back!

Yelp
After attempting to visit over Memorial Day weekend only to find that they were closed for the holiday :(, finally made it out a few weekends ago. Although carnivores ourselves, my sister and I like to try vegetarian/vegan spins on classic dishes, so Juicy stood out to us. The location is interesting - in an unassuming strip mall, which is nice from parking standpoint (pro tip: free parking) and nice as it may be missed if you don't know about it. The place is pretty tiny, with a small amount of indoor seating and a few seats outside. We arrived ~10:30 AM on a Sunday, and luckily only waited in line for ~10 minutes before placing our order (order at the counter, they bring your food to you) and were seated without an issue. JK's menu is filled with so many solid options, the majority of them being vegetarian or vegan, which is rare. I love a good eggs benedict, so I had my eye on the JK Benny. Their take is on a corncake base, which actually had pieces of corn in the bread, and the eggs sit upon a bed of spinach, mushrooms, roasted peppers, and tomatoes - a little spice to them, but truly excellent flavors. The traditional poached eggs were topped with a goat cheese sauce rather than hollandaise, which I loved - the semi-sweetness of the cheese cut the spice from the veggies and brought the plate together. Savored every last bite! It also came with a simple side salad, which was excellent as well - featured fresh fruit on the lettuce, which was a nice touch. My sister got the same dish and was equally as content as I was! JK is a great hidden gem in AA, and offers a variety of "healthy" and plant-based foods. Ranking as one of the best eggs benedicts I've had, would highly recommend brunch here to try it for yourself!

Yelp
4.5 stars Juicy kitchen is located in a tiny strip on Maple street next to a gas station. When I walked in, I was kind of taken by surprise by how tiny this place is. It is definitely a local cafe. There are only a hand full of tables and 4 seats available at the counter. We ordered our food at the counter and took one of those 4 seats. I had the goat cheese quiche and my friend had the vegan quesadilla with seitan. Everything was under $10. The quiche was a nice portion and came with a side salad. The quesadilla came with a TON of seitan. I couldn't believe how stacked it was. Service here was super nice. I just wish there was a bit more space for seating. Maybe they will expand in the future. *Not good for large groups. Parking: Free in strip parking

Yelp
Lovely vegan friendly place to have a meal. Due to covid I wasn't able to check out the inside so I can really only speak to the food in this review. They did have some picnic tables to sit at outside, I think that's worth mentioning. I got the chilaquiles, which were just as tasty as they sounded on paper. I subbed a different cheese for the feta but I'm sure it's delicious as it comes. Also got to try the baked tempeh as well, which went had great texture and seasoning. They've got some baked goods for sale so that's hard to pass up. The quinoa peanut butter cookie had a softer consistency than most cookies I've had, but taste wise hit the spot. Overall the owners were super nice / engaging and the food was fresh & flavorful. I love the mission of this place and the execution. Hopefully I can go back sometime and check out the inside decorum. Until then, without question the food gets my stamp of approval! It's only a ride....

Yelp
When I first sipped their maple sea salt latte, my soul departed my physical body and I transcended time and space. My pores cleared. My sins forgiven. The angels sang a name to me, and that name was Juicy Kitchen. For real, this place is marvelous. The food (with many creative vegan/vegetarian options) was delicious, and maybe even more importantly everyone working there was incredibly nice. We all felt extremely welcome and great attention was paid to our orders to make sure it was all correct. And the coffee with homemade syrup? Amazing.

Yelp
Great farm to table feel! I love how the meal is packed full of vegetables and healthy proteins, leaving you feeling super full, satisfied, and energized for the rest of the day. No post-brunch crash! The meal is very simple, but you can taste the freshness of each ingredient. Even a simple egg tastes delicious. Overall, recommendations: - The place to bring people who are suspicious of healthy food tasting bland or leaving them hungry - Avoid the lattes: watered down and a bit disappointing - The sandwiches are a must for lunch, but pick the bowls for a brunchier kind of day - A bit of California-style meal Seating may be a bit limited. The price of a great place!

Sabrina K.

Yelp
This unsuspecting takeout place is absolutely delicious. They have an interesting vegetarian/vegan friendly menu with lots of variety and fresh fruits and veggies. Great homemade salad dressing (salad comes with breakfast items) and my partner said the hollandaise was perfectly lemony for the salmon benedict (on what appears to be a Johnny cake). I had the quiche which was filled with veggies. Great coffee too! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Jenny K.

Yelp
Very tight little space, but quaint and homely. Inside you'll find a mix of high tops, tables and counter seating. On the wall are two very large chalk boards scribbled with breakfast/brunch and lunch options from omelets, sandwiches, soups and salads. Feeling a little fresh I went for the JK Greek Salad and at first skeptical I wiped the plate clean. Although the price ($12ish) for my plate felt a little steep it was loaded with artichokes, roasted red pepper, pickled beets (YESSSS, they should sell these individually) sprouts, chickpeas, fetta, cukes and lettuce topped with a homemade dressing. Coffees, sweet treats and tea also available. From my understanding Juicy Kitchen is always busy. There is NO Bathroom.

Yelp
We were on our way to Kalamazoo and wanted to grab breakfast in Ann Arbor. We wanted a change of scenery, so we went to Juicy Kitchen! You're welcome by a greeter who will tell you where to sit and how the whole ordering process goes. You order your food and then sit down. Make sure you're listening carefully, there will be someone calling out your name and when it's crowded, it's difficult to hear. They had outdoor seating as well, which looks like is dog friendly! (Saw a cute little frenchie sitting on the patio when we were leaving). They have so many options for meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegans galore. Coffee options as well and cold brew (something my boyfriend loves). I would not bring more than 4-6 people here for a table. It's a very small area, that gets crowded quickly. 2-4 people per table seem ideal. Regardless, definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Yelp
First Breakfast place I love who does not have hash browns. haha,,, no really!!! Hands down, amazing food, amazing Menu, much healthier and fresh, they serve only whole grain bread. Super friendly service. The Menu shouts "VEGITERIAN". Love it. the menu is fixed but the ingredients change everyday. places get a bonus point form me when they use locally grown ingredients. The place is super small. we can probably squeeze in 15 people. so Sunday breakfasts, expect a loooong wait. it was a cold and snowy day, she offered some coffee while we wait and a warm blanket for waiting outside. now who can complain after this. or you could go to your car and they will call your cell phone. we ordered Coffee: standard, good. JK Benedict : Awesome must try, they had some kind of radish as the season vegetable for that day. crunchy and awesome Grilled Veggie & Cheese with the soup (tomato basil) for my 7 yr old son, The soup was the highlight. amazingly flavorful, the grill cheese was better than the average grill cheese. Grilled Eggplant Sandwich: amazing as well, juicy eggplants with crunchy peppers awesome combinations. Everything was served with a salad with a special dressing. initially I was not so excited for the salad, but it was good as well. was able to taste the freshness. if you want a tour of the kitchen ( which was very well maintained) ask for the loo. ;) I would drove 20 miles to come to this place, and I would do it again. we love this place.

R W.

Yelp
Unfortunately reviewing low due to service. Walked in to place an order and was advised it would be 20 minutes for our food. It ended up being 45 minutes and I had to check in twice on the status while we waited. They seemed to either prioritize online orders that were submitted after our walk-in order, or, don't really have a system down for walk-in orders.
google avatar

Yelp
A really cute & cozy place with excellent friendly service and a large variety of healthy food & beverage options suited for all (especially those who are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free)! It's always a bonus when there's parking for a restaurant in Ann Arbor! Just be prepared to wait a little since the place is small and can easily get crowded. If you're bigger or have a bigger group, it can also be a little tough. Although the servers were all lovely, it took them quite some to time to get back to us to take our orders with a lot of people waiting in the restaurant for seats etc (but they were quick about taking beverage orders when were first seated). We had a group of 6 and called ahead to reserve seats, I advise those who don't want to wait to do the same! I ordered the Baked Eggs (you can switch eggs for tempeh) - sunny side up eggs over sweet potatoes, kale caramelized onions w/. sun dried tomato vinaigrette swerved w/. Whole grain toast and a side salad. The sunny side up eggs were a little toooo runny for me - I like a runny yolk but I had runny egg white on my eggs too. I loved the sun dried tomato vinaigrette and I appreciated the fruit in the side salad. The toast was also delicious as I love bread/crackers with grains and seeds. Some of the sweet potatoes were still a little hard, but the kale and onions weren't bad. Two of my friends ordered the JK Benedict, which looks delicious! However, out of the 4 poached eggs at least 3 of them were overcooked. I didn't see any yolk running out of those eggs... All in all, I will still give this place another go and try some other things on the menu because afterall they do have really good service and a wide range of healthy food options.

Amelia L.

Yelp
This place was really good! Lots of good vegan options, super friendly staff and great small business vibe. All outdoor seating when I was there. Just a handful of tables. Saw some carry out orders going out too. Went for breakfast and had the vegan burrito, Orange zest cinnamon roll and a yummy cinnamon latte. All very good. Don't miss it if you're local!

Yelp
Super fast and friendly service, cute and cozy place with generous portions and a healthy menu. - DIY Omelette (2.5 stars): wasn't a huge fan of the texture of the eggs, almost felt like egg beaters. Kale and mushrooms good/not too spicy or oily, quite bland. Grilled chicken was a bit too dry. Toast was good - Oat Cakes (2 stars): not a fan of the texture, a bit too mushy for me and a lot of the fruit it came with was quite sour - Strawberry mango smoothie (2.5 stars): frozen fruit and skim milk is healthy, but I just wasn't a huge fan of real milk since I haven't had it in a while. TLDR: decent healthy food, very friendly service

Yelp
Ehhhhh I wanted to like this spot...after already driving to one breakfast spot that was closed until 9 and multiple others rated high on yelp also closed on a Sunday it led us to juicy kitchen. I ordered the simple breakfast slider..it's sad when the fruit on the side is your favorite portion of your breakfast. I just felt the bread on the breakfast slider just overpowered and honestly not only was it super thick...I didn't love the taste of it. My husband got a omelet...no ham so he got chicken sausage...it was good but the side salad with the omelet was a weird addition, especially for my husband who is a meat and potatoes kinda guy. I got the cinnamon vanilla latte and that was very good and super cute with the art of top. I guess overall I just felt like everything had all these unnecessary twists, like I understand wanting to be unique and offering unexpected dishes...this just didn't do it for me personally.

Yelp
I'm not wild about brunch - it's always pretty average and it's usually not enough food to replace both breakfast and lunch. But Juicy Kitchen was very very good. Quick disclaimer: don't come here if you have a large group (more than 2-4 people) and it's not warm outside. There's very limited seating inside (smaller than most coffee shops I've been to) and it'll take you a bit to get a seat. I ordered the JK Benedict, a dish with poached eggs over corn cakes with a roasted red pepper/goat cheese sauce. Oh, and mushrooms and sundried red tomatoes!! It was insanely good - the corn cakes were a great base for the poached eggs and the greens were a nice complement to the meal. I also ordered the Indian Spice Latte and it was alright, probably not worth the $5 I spent on it. TL;DR - Definitely come here, definitely order the JK Benedict.
google avatar

Ish M.

Yelp
Cute breakfast and brunch place hidden in the west side of A2. I've been here a few times, and every time I have gotten the JK Benedict. What makes the JK Benedict pretty unique and amazing is the fact that instead of English muffins, they put corn cakes! Corn cakes are an incredible bed for poached eggs, and they turn out to be pretty delicious. Moreover, the hollandaise sauce is made from cashew and red pepper--it's so creamy and incredible! The Benedict itself is $11-something and you can add sausage or/and potato hash to the meal for an extra cost. Recently came here with friends and one friend got the Salmon Benedict with a pesto-based hollandaise (so good!--it was a special on the menu) and another friend got the Hot mess, which was also delicious. I am not vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free, but this place seems to be a heaven for folks who have these dietary necessities. Overall, they are a restaurant they serves healthy food, unlike a lot of greasy breakfast places. You might wanna come here early over the weekends to get a good seat. The place is pretty small and everyone wants to brunch here over the weekend. They have a few outdoor seating options, which is not feasible for the winter. Plenty of parking in that strip mall-esque area. I give this place four-point-five stars to five stars for the food, and overall four stars (given the difficulty of finding seating over the weekends).

Yelp
Great smoothies and breakfast! My daughter and I shared BLT omelette and Spanish chocolate smoothy. Take out service only. Also nice menu of coffee choices.

Yelp
Cute brunch spot in the middle of a small strip mall in the suburbs of Ann Arbor! Glad my friends and I came across this place on Yelp on our visit here. Though there was a wait around noon on Sunday, the turnover rate was pretty decent and we got seated outside within 15 minutes. It's really crowded in the cafe since the space is tiny, but they definitely make it work! Great selection of breakfast fare of both sweet and savory items - a big plus is the fact that they include whether the meal is vegetarian, or can be made vegan as well as gluten free so they're super friendly to those with dietary allergies/restrictions. I ordered the baked tempeh with avocado and a poached egg and it was plenty of food to tide me over for several hours. Service is pretty good considering how busy they are as they'll come in and out to refill coffee / water as well as check in on your meal. Glad to have found this gem :)

Hanna M.

Yelp
Food is very fresh and delicious, served quickly. Great for those, veggie, vegan, or trying to eat healthful. Coffee bar was great. Not ideal for large groups. Seating first come first serve, would suggest skipping peak time or come when outdoor seating is available

Yelp
This place is a new favorite. Best potato hash I've ever had. Amazing omelette. Friendliest service (especially if you say it's your first time). I had the seasonal autumn omelette and I was very happy and very full. My friend had the JK Club and was also happy and full - and kind enough to let me have two bites! They clearly use fresh ingredients and take pride in their food, their customers, and their space. Highly tecom

Yelp
Fantastic little spot. We were looking for a kid-friendly meal with delicious but healthy food and couldn't have been happier here. Everyone loved their orders, from the 4-year-old (PBJ smoothie) to the adults (best breakfast sandwich we've had in a long time). We waited a little longer than expected, but it was fine as we had a picnic table in the shade. Overall a lovely meal and felt very Covid-safe.

Yelp
I have been looking for a place like this for the past year and am so glad I've finally found it: a restaurant that makes delicious food that's actually healthy and clean!! Amazing!! The restaurant itself is cute, and the food is trendy/hipter-ish with whole wheat everything and 'protein power ball' type stuff at the front. I love it. Note though that the place is TINY. There are only a handful of cramped tables inside, and we ended up sitting outside on one of its few outdoor tables but the view was just of a parking lot, which wasn't ideal. I had the Hot Mess which was a delicious breakfast sandwich (though I could have used with less spiciness from the Sriracha). I also had the Salmon Benedict which is like a regular salmon benedict you'd get elsewhere but instead of english muffin there's a corn cake thing. I liked it, but not as much as just a regular english muffin. I got a side of potatoes as well, and I was disappointed that they were slices instead of chunks. Overall though, despite my nit-picky commentary, the food was really good and I'm definitely planning on coming here again.

Yelp
I remember when Juicy Couture was all the hype in high school. Fast forward to millennial life in AA, and it's all about Juicy Kitchen brunch, featuring Instagrammable plates with whimsical names such as the JK Benedict. Contrary to what you would expect from a Juicy Kitchen, JK is not just a juice bar though they do serve some fancy smoothies at $6 a piece. Note that the menu is predominantly plant-based so don't come here planning on getting juicy steak and eggs. However they do such a nice job with their array of brunch offerings, from the power bowl to the breakfast quesadilla to Scottish oat cakes, the creative vegetarian options will keep you enthralled. (In any case, there is also the option to add bacon or chicken sausage for true carnivores.) We were most eager to try the JK BENEDICT ($11.75), consisting of perfectly poached eggs over *veggie cakes*. It incorporated the veggie-ness of veggie burger patties or falafel, into the soft and fluffy texture of pancakes, so the veggie cakes were wholesome and tasted healthy while serving as a convenient vehicle to soak up the runny yolks. We also tried the BAKED EGGS ($9.75), essentially a hash of sweet potatoes, spinach, and caramelized onions topped with sunny side up eggs. I have mixed feelings about how it's not true baked eggs--while I do like the taste smokey taste of baked eggs, it does take forever; I think I'll settle for JK's faux baked eggs/hash. The blend of veggies was delicious and healthy, and I did like how it's less food-coma-inducing than your typical carby fried brunch potatoes. I was also impressed by the accompanying side salads, with very fresh, crisp mixed greens blended with variety of fresh fruit. The coffee was excellent as well, and I was very happy that they have soy milk at the bar. Juicy Kitchen is a small cafe in a random strip mall, so don't expect a bouge restaurant like Sava's (though JK arguably has better food and definitely better prices). The ambiance is cozy and space is a bit tight; I suggest getting thereby 9am on weekends because it can get busy. Overall, I was very satisfied with my brunch at JK--they are masters of balancing tasty and healthy (I don't feel like I just ate cardiovascular risk factors like I do at traditional American brunches with eggs/bacon/sausage/potatoes/general greasy stuff). And this review is honest and conclusive--there is no "JK" punchline :P

Yelp
This place will always have a sweet spot for us as it's the place that my wife and I had our first date. This is a far cry from your normal breakfast diner - it's... a much more vegetarian and vegan-friendly take (but not to worry, they have meat options). Ingredients are always fresh, things taste very homemade and "unique," for lack of a better word. It's good stuff. Staff is really friendly and down-to-earth, but space is tight, so just keep that in mind before you lug a group of 10 to this little joint.

Yelp
Fresh ingredients, cute ambiance, perfect for breakfast! This was my first time coming to Juicy Kitchen. I don't live on the west side of Ann Arbor, so I didn't even know this place existed! I finally went there with a friend of mine who does live on OWS and we came here for Sunday breakfast. It has free parking out front, which is great, but the space is VERY small! There are a few tables and a few taller tables, and a few seats at a counter, but that's about it. We had to put our name in, but our wait was only about 10-15 minutes - not too bad. While waiting, the staff offered to take our drink order so we got some teas and then waited outside on their patio tables. They provide blankets and there's a heater on their patio so that was nice! One word to describe their menu is: FRESH Everything sounded good and I was so happy to see many options were vegetarian and could even be made vegan. My eyes zeroed on "Benedict" so i ordered the JK Benedict. It was a unique spin on the classic. Two corn cakes (instead of English muffin) topped with poached eggs and instead of a hollandaise sauce, it was a goat cheese sauce. This was fantastic. The eggs were perfect, the corn cakes crispy on the outside and still softer on the inside, and the sauce was so flavorful and paired well with the dish. It came with a side of greens and fruit. This wasn't heavy at all like some Benedict breakfasts can be. My friend and I left satiated and already planning to come back and try out their lunch options soon! The staff was so friendly and sweet and everything I saw people ordered looked so delicious! Definitely give this place a try.

Yelp
Delicious food in a great setting. We appreciated the recommendation of the staff member. Dijon turkey wrap rocked.

Yelp
A real joy of a breakfast after driving 3 hours form Columubs in the dark and damp. Got the JK Benedict with chicken sausage. Had thought it came with bread rather than corn cakes, but the staff convinced me to try the corncakes and I'm glad I did so. Real kernels of corn in there was terrific, and the spicy sautéed pinch, mushrooms, and tomatoes that went with the corncakes worked really well with the gooey eggs benedict. Rather than a hollandaise, the sauce was a roasted red pepper and goat cheese that tasted great, though I didn't recall any goat cheese flavor, which is usually pretty strong. Combo of green and fruit salad was great, and the chicken sausage was fine. Should've gotten bacon instead, I think. A welcome introduction to snowy Ann Arbor, and the friendly service and patrons didn't hurt.

This place is so delightful! Small place with so much to give back. The food is mouth watering and so fresh. I would literally go here everyday if I was that close.
