The minute we walked into JULEP, we knew it was our venue. We had our wedding there 8/17/24 and everything about it was PERFECT! Starting with the set up- it truly is a blank canvas that you can do so many different things with. We worked with Heather to go over lay-outs for the ceremony, the reception, how best to flip the room when the guests were enjoying cocktail hour out on the patio. While we had a guest list of 150, you could easily fit more without it feeling too crowded. The attention to detail and working with our other vendors was all so seamless. Snakeoil makes the BEST cocktails! All of our guests made comments about how great they were, and how little they had to wait in line for a drink, since Julep will set up satellite bars pending your guest count and the main bar is spacious and efficient. We served their version of the Paloma and the Eye of the Tiger, but the options were almost too good to narrow down! The location is perfect for those coming in from out of town. You get to show off San Diego and be close to downtown and Little Italy, all while having privacy at the venue. Plenty of bathrooms, beautiful private rooms for bride & groom (or meeting rooms) and parking as well for vendors and guests. Again, could not have picked a more perfect place for our most perfect and important day of our lives. Thank you, JULEP!

Wow, what a dream venue for San Diego conferences! I was the planner for a two day conference group of 250 people, and this accommodation was perfect. Great commute from the airport and walking distance to food spots. The venue also has preferred vendors to work with if you want to bring the food/drinks/entertainment to you! The parking lot is a HUGE plus, especially for San Diego. Heather and Anavictoria were absolutely gems throughout the entire planning process, including day-of coordination and assistance. They’ll work with you on anything, just ask! I was a bit worried about hearing the trains during speaking sessions, but with the door closed you could hardly hear it. Lastly the venue has a great indoor/outdoor feel, as all around the main hall you have the option to open up the roll up doors and feel this amazing weather. The patio is an amazing ambiance for bar or food service set up. All in all, would 100% book this venue again!

I recently attended a business opening party at Julie venue in Mission Hills and was impressed by its versatile indoor and outdoor spaces. The spacious layout of indoor area allowed for comfortable mingling and networking, creating an intimate ambiance. The outdoor space at was captivating, featuring beautifully landscaped gardens. It allowed guests to enjoy the pleasant San Diego weather while socializing. The staff at were professional. The catering service provided delicious dishes, expertly prepared and presented. The staff offered attentive service throughout the event.

It's always a pleasure creating events at Julep. Their staff is consistently timely with responses, knowledgeable about the space, and friendly & helpful throughout the entire planning process. They cover all their bases before the event day; so the wedding day runs smoothly. Additionally there is was always a venue representative available on the wedding day to meet our needs as they arise. Their staff is especially attentive when when we have guest transitions happening (ceremony arrival, cocktail hour to reception etc) lending to a great guest experience. Couldn't recommend them enough! Oh and an added bonus is that the venue is truly a blank slate (in the best possible way)! If you have a specific vision the space is so versatile to design around! Plus lots of great in-house inventory to use to ease your rental needs. Can't wait to be back!

I attended a special wedding in this beautiful venue, and it did not disappoint! What impressed me was how easy everything was! It’s right off the 5 and parking is plentiful and nearby. There’s a charming garden for cocktail hour and plenty of room for creative installations. I felt at home and stayed for the entire event! Highly recommend.

We attended the San Diego Food and Wine Grand Decant at The Julep. What a nice space for events. The place is clean and spacious. There's a kitchen in the back and the bathrooms are very nice. There is a large parking lot with adjacent street parking and another parking lot nearby. I hadn't been here before - and was pleasantly surprised by this space.

I had dejavu when I arrived at Julep Venue. I cannot for the life of me remember what used to be here or why I have been here before, but I have in its other life form. Instead, I attended an event through the San Diego Foundation held at Julep Venue. Lots of pros! The space has quite a sizable parking lot in addition to street parking outside. It's clearly new with modern and sleek features. Everything looks well kept in the space and its gorgeous. They also figured out the bathroom situation, because they have a large number of restrooms (which I've seen to be a common issue with many event spaces in the area). My experience was excellent. If the venue matches your aesthetic for an event, I see no reason not to have one here!

My first time at the Julep Venue was to attend an Oddities Expo, and even though it was super packed and the parking lot was full, I was still able to find street parking nearby, and enjoy the vendors! Snake Oil was in attendance serving up tasty cocktails, and the vendors were top-notch. I would certainly recommend this venue for your next event!

THANK YOU, JULEP! We just hosted our wedding at Julep last month and it was spectacular! The venue is a huge open space that can be transformed into anything you desire. I have attached pictures so you can see how we transformed it into a beautiful modern tropical disco! They have a fully functional bar, outside patio area, bridal suite, large restrooms and plenty of parking. Also, one thing we loved about the venue is its off by itself, so you don't have passerby's, randoms or outside activity to interrupt anything. From start to finish we fell in love with Julep! The staff is amazing, they went over each package with us and let us know exactly what we would get, they have flexible start and end times. Their preferred vendor list was really helpful in guiding us to find vendors to transform the space! We really couldn't have been happier with Julep, so don't wait BOOK!

Was here for a posh event and thank goodness for this event bc i had no idea this venue existed! They have a bar area that looks super cute and next to it there is a back outdoor area. The space is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. There is also another space that you can see as you walk up to the venue. Not sure about prices as i was here for an event, but loved the space. If looking for a venue for a small wedding, baby shower or other events i would say check to see how much prices are. They do have parking for the venue events.

Came here to tour what a pristine clean brand new smelling venue loved how cute the inside was. The bar in the back and patio area where perfection not sure if we will pick this place due to beverage package and limited catering partners they have but overall beautiful place perfect for someone wanting a ceremony and reception combo. They have a fantastic bar the bartenders are snake oil since it's the headquarters and the cocktails are top notch.

I came to this new venue back in February and had a blast. There were so many friendly vendors here too. I got to have my hair done, professional headshots taken, make chocolate, and of course eat and drink as well. Snake oil Cocktail Co. is located here, so there cocktails were nice and strong. There was plenty of space to roam around in their indoor-outdoor location. I really love how beautiful and versatile this place can be. You can have a wedding, corporate event, or a birthday party here. During that time, the staff told me that they were booked in advance already, so I know that they will do well once we can start holding events again.

First of all, the venue itself is beautiful. After seeing this one there was no need to look any further, we booked almost immediately. Adding all the wedding decor only elevated the space even more. It's simple & elegant at the same time. Secondly, the JULEP team was a pleasure to work with and answered all our questions in a timely and professional manner. Heather, Marisol, Tricia (and everyone else involved) were so helpful throughout the entire process. It really felt like they were dedicated to making my special day perfect. Another thing is, they are really transparent about pricing and that made us feel really confident in our decision to book here. I am so happy and grateful that my wedding not only turned out beautiful but also went as smoothly as possible, and I know that it had a lot to do with the fact that it was held here. This large venue has hosted Sunday salsa and bachata dancing at least twice - and hopefully will continue to do so in a regular basis. Only half the total available space is even needed - so there is potential for double the popularity. In addition to the inside area, which has some kind for vinyl fake wood flooring, there is also an outdoor patio area with some kind of fake grass. Air conditioning runs even with doors to the outside open. I'm not sure about "logistics" for other events, but for the dance events, the "security" checking IDs (for age because there is a bar selling alcohol) is inside AFTER people have already paid to get in; this seems strange - and NOT the way it's done ANYWHERE else. Free parking is available on the street and in a large parking lot. I have NO idea about pricing or services or availability but Julep seems like a good venue possibility for many other events besides just salsa dancing (once a month?) - so IF you need a clean attractive indoor space to host a group event, Julep is worth considering.

This Venue was so pretty. it is a large space that can be easily transformed for any event or ceremony. From the front of the building, you get a gorgeous view of downtown San Diego and the sunset! I think it was honestly one of my favorite venues i have ever been to. They have a great kitchen area as well, they allow outside caterers to use it! The owners of the building were great to work with. Next time I am hosting an event, this will definitely be the first venue i consider.

We looked at so many venues for our daughter's quinceañera and as soon as we saw Julep we knew this was the venue for us! It's blank canvas and open floor plan was exactly what we were looking for. We were able to transform it to our daughters dream birthday celebration....it was absolutely gorgeous! We loved the outdoor patio for our cocktail hour and were able to have a churro cart and a teens mock tail bar that were a big hit with all her friends. We also loved the rosebud room where she was able to change outfits for her different dances and hang out with her friends. But what really sets this venue apart is the team that makes it all happen. We are beyond thankful for Heather, Marisol & Vanessa who are truly amazing at what they do. The level of communication is a huge plus when planning such an important life event and they were on top of it all, every step of the way! All of our guests raved about how cool the bar was and how good the cocktails were from Snake Oil. And the bartenders were whipping up some top notch old fashioned drinks. Our guest also loved the cocktail graffiti topper we had on the welcome drinks. We rate this venue an A++This venue truly has it all!!!

Can't say enough about the team at JULEP and how successful they made our wedding day run smoothly! 1. The Venue: the space is minimal, but clean and beautiful and has so much versatility. The large open floor plan lends itself to a variety of options of configuring the room, and the outdoor patio was such a great hit at night during cocktail hour. Huge plus - the venue has separate private rooms for the bridal parties (rosebud room for the bridesmaids and derby room for the groomsmen). 2. Snake Oil/cocktails: one of the biggest highlights of the events and something all our guests raved was how great the cocktails were with JULEPs exclusive partner (Snake oil). The service was top notch, and the drink quality was probably one of the best among all weddings I've been to! We decided to go with Out of the Blue and Xolo for the his/her drinks, and they were such a hit. 3. The team: JULEP's team is very, very responsive and was accommodating to all our needs. We had some last minute changes the day before during our rehearsal, but the team made sure to setup the space exactly to our desire. The venue team did a great job making sure all the vendors were in order and helped us feel confident going into the wedding day knowing we had such an adept team.

During Covid-19 it's been challenging to find an outdoor venue to accommodate my entire guest list until I found Julep!!! I flew in from Hawaii to celebrate my 50th birthday in the courtyard at Julep on Saturday, March 20th. The experience from planning, choosing graffiti through their sister beverage company Snake Oil Cocktail to the night of the event was a great experience! Brindy responded to all of my requests/questions within hours and shared my excitement in creating an epic event! I had a DJ, taco truck, delicious cocktails called Eye of the Tiger and Xolo and anything else my guests desired. The staff provided were eager to please and delightful the entire party! I highly recommend this venue for a plethora of different occasions!

You don't have to look any further. This is your venue. We knew from the first time we saw it two years ago, but COVID delayed our wedding. We saw it a second time and we knew it had to be here. We were so beyond thankful for this venue and the team behind it. Vanessa and Heather are the easiest to work with. They both made our vision come true and walked us through everything. The snake oil team was exactly what we wanted. Their drinks were a huge hit at our wedding and our friends and family couldn't stop talking about them. The venue is a blank canvas and you can create your vision easily. Everything from our first walk through with Heather to planning our floor plans with Vanessa to our cocktail tasting with snake oil exceeded our expectations. We wish we could do it all over. Venue is cool but the lack of parking makes attending large events here stressful and more expensive. I'm sure for a smaller wedding, the available parking would work out. The nearest place I'm comfortable leaving my car is liberty station, which requires an Uber to and from, which also eats away at your time. Yes, there is street parking, and yes, everybody already took all the spots up to little Italy, where you are then doing the normal compete with tourists for a spot thing. The location isn't especially central by San Diego standards, it's in between the highway and the airport. I wish the markets hosted here would move to Liberty Station. There are suitable venues and parking for all, even if it cost $5 more per person, not having to make people take cabs would be a net savings for everybody.

My daughter had her quinceañera here in Julep venue and it is one of the best experiences we've ever had. The staff was very attentive, the team was quick to reply to even the smallest of question we had. Their schedule to make meeting was very flexible as was the team. The patio was a very nice area to take a small break or a breather. Free parking. Clean area. My family and I were very please with even the spacious venue itself and all the perks that came with it were even better. Definitely worth the price. No better place!! highly recommend this place!!

My wife and I couldn't have found a better venue that suited all our wedding needs. A very convenient location, beautiful spacious area, ample parking options and enough bathrooms to support all of our guests. One unique trait about the venue is the ability to rent out the bridal suite and conference rooms which we turned into a nursery/kids room and a game room for our guests that had kids. Special shout-out to Heather and Marisol who were responsive to our needs and a pleasure to work with throughout the process.

Julep was an amazing venue for our daughter's first birthday party! The cafe and patio are lovely and the rest of the venue is such a pretty space. The white walls and gray floors are a great blank canvas for any event/photoshoot/gathering! The location is great too being near the airport, and they have their own huge parking lot. The venue is run by Snake Oil Cocktail Company and they are really great to work with. Jessica was my point of contact for the booking and other logistics and she was so sweet and accommodating! On the day of, Matt was there checking in with us during set up and clean up to see if we needed anything, and our drink server, Denise, was so helpful the whole event! I would definitely recommend this venue and would also have future events there. The Julep cafe and patio is also open during the week as a coffee shop serving WestBean coffee and Bread+Cie pastries. The drinks and pastries are yummy and there's tons of seating (and plugs for those needing charging).

The team at Julep was exceptionally helpful all throughout the process. We held a fairly large public wine tasting event there and they worked with us to help achieve our vision of a successful event. From the procurement of rentals to helping think through flow and key event needs. On the day of the event, they were one step ahead with our needs and had a team in place with a can do attitude. The venue itself is perfect to get creative in with lots of different rooms and possibilities. The natural lighting in the space was perfect. Their roll up doors made it feel like an indoor/outdoor type space and really made it feel much larger. With about 400 guests and vendors, there were not any complaints about parking or accessibility. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

I have planned and designed a styled shoot in their space and it was SUCH fun working with Lindsey, Laura, and Marissa on this project. They have it all - bartending, venue space, and a list of recommended vendors (catering, photography, music, lighting, etc). We went to Julep for the NYE 2020 party. The event said they had "state of the art production". This translates to a poor resolution projector on the wall. There was 1 male bathroom with 3 stalls and 2 urinals. They also ran out of whiteclaws by 11pm for an event that went until 4am. Logistically was just not organized very well, maybe due to how new the place is. Very disappointing.

We worked with Julep to host our Wedding Reception. It was the most incredible experience! We had a very large wedding 280+ guests, multiple vendors and a lot of moving parts! The staff at Julep was professional, timely, attentive and so overall so wonderful. When I first walked into the space I knew it was a blank canvas that could be transformed into so many things. For me the outdoor patio and the main hall (with the addition of the drapes) created and environment that felt like I was in someone's home- dining in their dining room and then being able to step outside into their yard for a quick break or some air. It made a large reception feel intimate and romantic. It was the perfect backdrop to our evening celebration and an experience that I will be forever grateful for and never forget. I give them my highest recommendation!

Julep is an incredible new venue space perfect for weddings, social, and corporate events! I attended a New Year's Eve event there last week and had an amazing time! I brought friends from out of town and we loved everything, the decorations, the patio seating, the beautiful bathrooms, high ceilings, and the owner Michael was so great! The staff was nothing but friendly and accommodating. The venue space itself is gorgeous, modern, and impeccably clean! I would recommend this space to anyone looking to create a memorable experience for an event! It's clear they have a wonderful team, capable of taking any clients vision and making it a reality! 10/10

Spent New Year Eve here, and the venue is amazing!! It was very well put together with plenty of space both inside & out, perfect for any size party or event.. I cannot recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back ;)

What a fantastic venue! We booked Julep Venue for our end of year Summer Soirée party and absolutely loved it! the space, service, and cocktail options were the best! Our event planner was Brindy and her team Tricia and Mari who knocked it out of the park. They are organized and have excellent customer service. We love the space itself since they have a variety of different options of locations. SnakeOil is part of it and we highly recommend to use them as well. Super creative and fairly priced. I highly recommend Julep Venue!

JULEP Venue is an incredible business that has been a huge support to our community during the pandemic. I hosted multiple blood drives at the BEAUTIFUL venue. The staff was supportive, helpful and always positive and the venue was incredible....from the beautiful and open main room to the multiple outside areas, it is the perfect space to have any type of event. Also, for being in a great downtown location there were more than enough parking spots for all donors and guests. I highly suggest this space for any of your personal or company needs!

Julep is just the venue we have been looking for! We have been waiting for a clean open space that allows for creative freedom to come to San Diego and here it is! The transition between the indoor and outdoor space is seamless and they even have the best little coffee shop! They have a great team and staff behind the venue who were more than helpful and so kind! We love this space!
