"Housed in a centrally-located building off Washington Street that previously hosted businesses like wine bar 57 Degrees and Fishmonger’s Market, Julep opened in early November after a $2 million renovation and spans 12,000 square feet of customizable event and cafe space. I found it offers a main hall that can accommodate more than 500 guests, multiple outdoor patios, two kitchens, and private rooms, positioning it as a hub for pop-ups, chef dinners, community meetings and other large-scale events; when not booked for private functions the entire area will be open to the public, and it could even be considered the largest coffee shop in San Diego." - Candice Woo
