NYC New Restaurant Openings: October 2024 | Eater NY

"I checked out Jules Pizza in Brooklyn Heights, the new spot from the operators behind Henry’s End that replaces Fifty Henry Wine Bar and promises an approachable wine program alongside improved kitchen capabilities and a pizza oven." - Emma Orlow

Jules - Review - New York - The Infatuation

"At Jules in Brooklyn Heights, you can get a tomato pie or one with clam to go with your glass of wine. Besides their various pies, they also have salads, desserts, and sharing plates. The spot comes from the chef at Henry's End, in the old location of a wine bar called Fifty Henry. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Alex Stupak to Open the Otter and Sloane’s Inside Soho Luxury Hotel the Manner | Eater NY

"Set to open this September at 50 Henry Street, at Cranberry Street in Brooklyn Heights, Jules Pizza comes from the same operators who ran Fifty Henry Wine Bar (and also run Henry’s End) and will offer an approachable wine program while retaining the kindhearted, welcoming service customers loved over the last 15 years; adding a pizza oven and kitchen improvements is intended to allow them to make better food." - Emma Orlow

We had been hearing the hype about Jules on the street in Brooklyn and we had to check it out for ourselves. The atmosphere is buzzy, the decor is simple but spot on and the pies are excellent and often unique. It might just be my take, but the crust seems to be a nod to New Haven style. We ordered the corn pie, which is not only original, but exceptionally delicious. We started out with a simple, delicious fresh salad, and ended up the meal with a Neapolitan cake that is probably the best iteration I’ve ever had. Definitely need to go back and check out more of the pies ASAP. Jules is a welcome addition to Brooklyn Heights pizza scene.

If you live in bk heights and haven’t been here you are sleeping on the best pizza. I’ve been here 3 or 4 times and every time the pizza is unreal. Also the ricotta pie is a delicious and unique. Highly recommend coming in for date night to enjoy the beautiful bar or bringing family/friends. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

What a nice change from the old heights wine bar. Brighter interior with excellent service and Great pizza, the crust is nice and sturdy with a good crunch. We had the regular pizza and the tuna pizza and enjoyed both. I think I liked the regular pizza slightly more than the tuna. They have a very nice calabrian chili sauce that you can add onto the pizza. We had great cocktails as well. They have high chairs for babies in the back.

The squash blossom and fennel sausage pizza was by far the best out of the three pies we ordered. The soppressata pizza was delicious too. The white clam was strange, but the chili oil mixture on the table elevated the slice. The wedge salad was delicious, but very small.

Jules in Brooklyn Heights is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The cozy ambiance sets the perfect tone for a laid-back meal, and the servers were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We tried three pizzas, and the thin crust on each one was a standout—light, slightly chewy, and full of character. My favorites were the Soppressata and the Potato Ricotta pizzas. Both were beautifully balanced, with flavors that didn’t overpower but still made an impression. The Potato Ricotta, in particular, was a delightful surprise: light, airy, and perfectly executed. If you’re into thin-crust pizzas with thoughtful toppings and a warm atmosphere, Jules is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to going back!

The new spot Jules Pizzeria in Brooklyn Heights is fantastic! We had the Regular pie, the Soppressata Picante, Funghi and Fennel Sausage and Parmigiana pizzas, as well as the Roasted Chicken for 2 and all 3 of the salads. Everything was delicious, the service and atmosphere was great - I can’t wait to come back and try more on the menu and see any new specials or seasonal dishes they do. A 10/10 rating!

Solid neighborhood gem! Came here on a Tuesday night with two colleagues at around 5:45 and we were able to sit right away. I was the first of my party to arrive with the latest arriving at about 6:15. The staff were really patient so thank you! They were doing half off martinis and Negronis so I got a Negroni - delicious classic. We then split the gem wedge, the regular, and the patate & lardo pies. All were absolutely excellent. We didn’t leave any leftovers. Can’t wait to come back on my own and enjoy the bar, do a date night, or bring family/friends :). I’m so excited BK heights is getting some really solid dining spots, so welcome to the neighborhood, Jules!

Yelp
Folks this is the new spot.... Apps *FIRE EMOJI* Pizza * UNREAL* Drinks *THIRST QUENCHING* We waited for about 30 mins for a table for two on a Friday night around 7:00pm. Well worth it, outstanding service. Outstanding food, some of the crispiest, airiest pizza I've ever had. Hats off to the team and best of luck! This is certainly welll on its way to being a neighborhood staple!
