NYC’s New Restaurant Openings

"At Jules Pizza in Brooklyn Heights, you can get a tomato pie or one with clam to go with your glass of wine. Besides their various pies, they also have salads, desserts, and sharing plates. The chef used to be at Henry's End, and the spot used to be a wine bar called Fifty Henry." - will hartman

NYC New Restaurant Openings: October 2024 - Eater NY

"Brooklyn: Residents of Brooklyn Heights were curious about what would replace the charming storefront where Fifty Henry Wine Bar sat for 15 years before its closure in December 2023. Now, it has been revealed: Jules Pizza, from the same operators (who also run Henry’s End), has debuted in Brooklyn Heights. “Jules will offer an approachable wine program and retain the commitment to kindhearted, welcoming service that customers came to love over the last 15 years,” co-owner Hallie Lahm tells Eater. “The addition of a pizza oven and improvements to the kitchen space will allow us to make better food.”" - Emma Orlow

The new spot Jules Pizzeria in Brooklyn Heights is fantastic! We had the Regular pie, the Soppressata Picante, Funghi and Fennel Sausage and Parmigiana pizzas, as well as the Roasted Chicken for 2 and all 3 of the salads. Everything was delicious, the service and atmosphere was great - I can’t wait to come back and try more on the menu and see any new specials or seasonal dishes they do. A 10/10 rating!

This pizza was absolutely incredible. First the crust composition is amazing. It’s is super thin, has a slight amount of chew, but an amazing crunch without being dry or sharp. You bite through it so satisfyingly. The crust’s flavor is amazing, ever so slightly sour doughy. Theres really solid char and spotting, so they got that dough and heat down perfectly. The reg is phenomenal, but the broccoli rabe is one of the best things ive ever eaten. Its so well balanced. Great ambiance, great staff, i think everyone should rush to check this place out because it’s going to be hard to get in soon!

Great addition to the neighborhood! The pizza is fantastic - truly excellent dough. There’s a lovely chew while being sturdy enough to hold up the sauce and toppings. We got the Soppressata pie and the Broccoli Rabe pie and both were absolutely incredible. The Broccoli Rabe pie is unlike anything I’ve had - a must try. The cocktails are also excellent! We’re excited to come back and try the whole menu!

Walked in ,50 Minute wait to be seated. Our party ordered 2 salads and 3 Pies, Tomato, Eggplant, and truffle sausage. Salads were good, but far too small to really share. Pizzas were a mixed bag: Truffle Sausage was more on the well-done side so it was the driest and least flavorful. Tomato pie was good, and would recommend it to garlic lovers. Eggplant was a regular cheese pie with half inch slices of molten eggplant on each piece, our least favorite. We also bought a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced and tasty. Overall, Pizza is not in the same league as the many other establishments in the surrounding area.

A nice neighborhood sit-down pizza place. The drinks were good, the pizza was tasty and the roast chicken was made perfectly (crispy skin and juicy meat). The dessert was not great though, so hopefully they can work on that. They are still ramping up, so some unevenness is to be expected. The front of house and wait staff was fine, but could be more welcoming / personable as well.

I visited Jules for the first time today with friends visiting from Sweden, and we couldn’t have had a better introduction to the place. We managed to grab the last three seats at the bar, and the bartender, who we later found out is one of the founders, provided excellent service throughout our visit. The drink selection was impressive, and the pizza was fantastic. They keep things simple yet elevated, proving that great taste doesn’t need to be overcomplicated. I highly recommend this spot!

Fantastic addition to the neighborhood with a perfect balance between more upscale pizza and a full bar. The Soppressata was my favorite (although all 3 pies we ordered were delicious). Beets salad was also excellent. Will definitely go back

Excellent broccoli rabe pie. Love the renovation. Bright and airy. Very friendly staff and owner. Love the non-alcoholic drinks. Hopefully they expand the NA drink menu. Even the simple green salad was delicious. Lovely addition to the neighborhood. Went in about 5:30pm and was the time for families with kids even though I was there with my partner. Very accommodating to families.

Yelp
Folks this is the new spot.... Apps *FIRE EMOJI* Pizza * UNREAL* Drinks *THIRST QUENCHING* We waited for about 30 mins for a table for two on a Friday night around 7:00pm. Well worth it, outstanding service. Outstanding food, some of the crispiest, airiest pizza I've ever had. Hats off to the team and best of luck! This is certainly welll on its way to being a neighborhood staple!
