The 13 Best Restaurants In Borough Market - London - The Infatuation

"The baying crowd inhaling kubba haleb and potato chap outside Juma Kitchen have got the right idea. These deep-fried bites—formed from rice or potato patties and filled with baharat-spiced lamb mince—are the snack that’s made this Iraqi stall rightly popular. If you’re after a show, swing by at 1pm on a Sunday, when a gargantuan pot of dolma, a family-style dish, is unveiled." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Juma Kitchen Review - London Bridge - London - The Infatuation

"On a balmy lunchtime London’s most popular food market will have you hyperventilating like you’re trying to find your shortest friend at the Pyramid Stage. But some of the baying crowd at Borough Market have got the right idea—particularly the ones inhaling kubba haleb and potato chap outside of Juma Kitchen. These deep-fried bites—formed from rice or potato patties and filled with aromatic baharat-spiced lamb mince—are the snack that’s made this Iraqi stall rightly popular. Other things, like the tender charcoal-grilled kebabs are enjoyable, but it’s handheld stuff that really stands out. Uroog (cauliflower and courgette fritters) are similarly excellent and, if you’re after a show, swing by London Bridge at 1pm on a Sunday. It’s when a gargantuan pot of dolma, an Iraqi family-style dish, is unveiled for all to enjoy." - Jake Missing

Absolutely incredible! The Knafa is one of the best desserts I've ever had. Iraqi cuisine is so wonderful and they do an amazing job; you'll be doing yourself a favor to stop and grab something here. Sorry about the image being half-eaten --- it looked so good I forgot to take a picture!

What incredible food! Best Kubba I’ve had since the ones my Grandma would make. Juma Kitchen feels familiar yet new and homely yet elevated - this spot is a real gem. Can’t wait to go back

It was my first time trying Iraqi food but it didn't disappoint. We had the kubba haleb and potato chap (both delicious) and there was also a Syrian special that day which was also very good. The staff were also really lovely and friendly.

The food quality & taste is the best, I think this is the best grilled chicken and lamb I tried with fettoush salad. Diffentlty will go there again.

Perfect place to stop off for lunch in Borough Market. The food is absolutely delicious - particularly recommend the dolma if you happen to be there on a Sunday. Kubba are excellent and were very much enjoyed by our 2 year old as well!

They were closing so I got the last piece of meat that was cooking, the chicken needed a little more flavour though I appreciated it was soft and the kubba was a little too greasy for my liking, salad also needed flavour it was just salad and sumac, should've offered a hit of salt and lemon juice just after serving in the container. Would say their prices are steep too, I could get a proper sit down meal for what I paid and enjoy it. But I'm sure if I gave it another chance and tried something else it would be more enjoyable, unless it's just overhyped.
