Today was the launch of Junbi & Miffy! The store was adequately stocked with merchandise!! The menu is available on the screens, paper & laminated print in store with lots of variety to cater to the cravings of coffee lovers, latte enthusiasts and fruit tea connoisseurs!
There's tons of street and underground Parking, with designated ADA & 20 minutes parking. Depending on the time you go, drivers are circling around like sharks on the street level. Some people are rude and will take your spot, despite clearly signaling you're waiting for the parking spot.
The shop is vibrant, clean with 2-3 small seating areas. It gets crowded quickly, and isn't conducive to hanging out & chatting. I typically do pick up. They are on DoorDash :) however the miffy drinks & merchandise are not available via DoorDash at this time.
There is a display of miffy items for sale, next to the self order kiosk. You must purchase miffy items through the register. They'll ring you up and go to the back end of the store to pick up your merchandise.
They've got bamboo stickers, tins of daily ceremonial matcha, glass tumbler with straw & straw cleaner by shirts, tote bag & pin! The staff were wonderful in sharing the t shirts run small and will shrink! Thank you Joey & Kristin!
The Miffy keychain is a trade in program. Purchase any 4 drinks from the miffy menu & you can choose from 2 Miffy design keychains (Miffy peaking out from behind a junbi drink or Miffy with an orange shirt sitting behind cups of matcha tea).
The Rowland Heights location is currently out of the pin, the glass tumbler & the tea shirt with Miffy's face painted on it (not the pocket t-shirt). They will restock next month & may be offering products online. They cannot sell the items on display, trust me, I went shopping for answers.
I called the day before the Miffy event to gauge, how busy it would be, and the staff member with me a lot of people have been calling about the event. My mom went to Junbi for me since I had work!
She arrived at 10 am (shop opens at 11am) & was 4th in line. I got everything I wanted (the pin & non- pocket t-shirt are cuter in person- GET IT!). My mom was out within 20 minutes!! The line went from Junbi to JJ bakery once she was out, around 11:20am.
Thank you to the Junbi staff who saved a shirt for me, when I came to exchange my shirt size. Yes, you still wait in line. Check your stickers and tin before you leave. Luckily I had to drive back to return a shirt, so I exchanged my sticker. It was missing spots of paint and looked burnt in some areas. I got a freebie sticker, which made my day! :) thank you!!
