Just Burgers Fremont

Right smack in the Fremont area of Seattle is this burger place I found. I tried a smash burger, it completely blew my mind on what they are. The flavor, taste, and choice of fries all for 16 bucks. Parking is a challenge but well worth it. I score this at 4.5

We stopped in before the Kraken game. There was no customers and only one employee working. They have an electric kiosk to order from. The employee was super nice and friendly and helped explain the kiosk and what came in the burgers. The food came out fresh and made to order. Took about 10 minutes from the time we entered to get our food. The burger was delicious and the garlic fries where crisp and not soggy in any way. They were not oily like other places. I highly recommend coming her. Good food, quality ingredients, relaxing environment, friendly service.

Delicious & ready fast! Ordered the California (no pickles) and sweet potato fries. Soo much flavor in every bite, loved it. Fries thin with good crunch and dipping sauce. Little bit pricey, but worth it to try signature option. Easy to walk to in downtown Fremont. Space to sit inside & out.

So good! The garlic fries were delicious. I had never had them with fried garlic and I will never want any other. Burger was great as well as the house sauce. If I could give 10 stars I would. I was sad to see no one else here. It was 2:30 though! Def give them a try!

Randomly found this spot and wow—easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time! I’m not even a big burger person, so that’s saying something. The house sauce was super tasty and unlike anything I’ve tried before. Fries were on point too. Highly recommend if you are in Seattle!!

Just Burgers is a chain of burger places with a shorter menu, mixing regular burgers and smash burgers. This location is in Fremont just a bit up the hill from the center of the universe. Parking here can be hit or miss because it's close to the Fremont Troll. They have maybe 6 tables inside and a few bar top stools. Prices per portion aren't that great, the burgers are kind of expensive and they were just ok. The service is good, the cooks behind the counter were friendly. I'd say the regular burgers are better than their smash burgers.

Just Burgers exceeded my expectations! The menu was enticing, so we decided to give it a try. I had the California Burger with a side of curly fries + a sprite. The interior was clean, and the layout was self explanatory. Self order screen at the front, condiment table with straws and everything extra you need. 10/10!

Most times we don't order mozzarella sticks because they are exactly like the ones we buy frozen and eat at home. These ones from here were so good though, with a crispy outside. Their fries were nicely crisp also, if that's what you would prefer, and if you came here for their burgers, those were amazing! We were mixed on the milkshakes. My son said they were a little thin with too small of a cup. I agree with the cup size, but it was much nicer having a milkshake that was drinkable. Price for a burger that you have to order on a kiosk and pick up the counter yourself was a little high (plus a "service fee" for general vandalisms?), but we really enjoyed the meal. So next time you are in the Fremont WA area, say hi to the Fremont troll, then walk over for a bite to eat.

SMASH BURGER DELICIOUS AHHHHHHHH i just went absolutely bananas on a smash burger, chicken tenders, and some curly fries. mmmmm, damn. they are doing it right over here. such a succulent smash burger... crispy.. juicy... CARAMELIZED ONIONS... MMMMMMMMMMMM DELICIOUS. service was friendly, quick, and easy. i was in and out, took my takeout home and again, did unspeakable things to my burger (that is, ate the whole thing about 2 min). nice little shop, open kitchen/grill concept. awesome. so so awesome.

We went here with a craving for burgers after a concert. We took it to go since it was near closing time. Even after 15min sitting in the bag on the drive home, this burger was one of the most memorable and tasty burgers I've had in a long time. I'm looking forward to having another opportunity to go here, hopefully to eat in next time. Hats off to the chef for still cranking out great burgers in the 11th hour!

This place always smell so good whenever I pass by, so I decided to give it a try. We ordered their cheeseburger and the month special: Bacon jam. We customized it a little so I added a picture of our order to see what we added. There is a kiosk to send the order and pay. Then when the order is ready, they are going to call the number. I would not recommend staying too long under the pick-up station since there is a heating device to keep the food warm until people pick it up. Cheeseburger: 5 stars no comment. Bacon Jam: Overall, this is a delicious burger with some sweet hint in it. At first I was a bit confused since I could not taste/find the cheese but after talking to them about it, they explain that the cheese was mix with the bacon and other things, hence the black thing next to the angus beef patty. And I think that created the soft sweetness of some sort of caramélisation.

Amazing Burgers. Love the outside seating. Atmosphere was good and cleanliness in the restaurant was great. Highly recommend.

Best burger we've had in a long time! I was telling my husband how I was craving some curly fries and omg this place had the best curly fries ever!!!!! So crispy! The burgers were amazing 10/10

Rating this based on the vegetarian and vegan options so take it with a grain of salt! I'm grateful that they have vegetarian options. The vegan place down the street was closed and we were looking for a veggie burger, so we tried Just Burgers. We ordered takeout, which I understand also affects freshness and texture vs eating a meal in person (they even have a disclaimer on their website about that) but I'm basing this review off of flavor and comparison to other takeout meals I've had. We tried the garden (vegetarian) burger and it was delicious. Perfectly crispy with great toppings and sauce. It does not taste like a burger--definitely more of a veggie patty and it was a lightly colored. I also really liked the pickles and aioli. Curly fries on the side were also very good and well seasoned. The vegan burger, however, left much to be desired. The avocados were old, brown and tasted over ripe, and it felt like they just threw every topping they could think of onto the vegan burger to cover up the flavor. There were fries on it which I wasn't expecting but it was kind of a fun surprise. They didn't add anything for flavor or texture though. There's a disclaimer on the website that says the burger may be bland without sauces, which leads me to believe it's just not a great burger. The patty itself was soft and fell apart easily (which I do expect with a black bean burger with lots of toppings, just know what you're getting yourself into). The combination was odd and it just wasn't great. I'd rather have an Impossible burger tbh and was disappointed that wasn't an option. Also got the garlic fries and they were not very garlicky. At first I thought they made a mistake on our order but then realized it was just lightly seasoned with garlic granules. When I went to pick up my order, the person working was super nice and my order was ready really quickly, so service was great! That said, I'd go back and get the vegetarian burger and curly fries again but I'd probably eat in person to get the full experience next time.

It was National French fry day and this was the closest place to us with good looking French fries. We walked in and began to look at the menu behind the counter when the lady cooking instructed us to use the pad to order (hospitality is slowly disappearing in the restaurant industry, although there is still a tip option on the pad. I place my order, pick it up from the counter and bus my own table; I should get a discount) Anyway, rant over, I definitely would have given four stars if it was solely based on the food. The food was made to order, fresh and hot when we picked it up. The burgers were good, great meat to bun ratio combined with good flavors and textures. The French fries were hot and crispy too. All in all we would return to eat the delicious food.

Food - there were three vegetarian options (2 of which are vegan), which was nice but it felt like they were all more or less the same option. The veggie burger was pretty good overall. The garlic fries were also good. My partner liked his burger and the shake was pretty good too. We got delivery. It came warm and fresh and it wasn't soggy or anything. Service - the food was well packaged to travel without getting cold or soggy! Ambiance - we did delivery so can't speak to this.

ate lunch here yesterday. got a smash burger with fries and a beer and my wife got the chicken burger with curly fries and water. the foot was pretty good but it came out to $40!! also, while we waited for our burger the tiny restaurant filled with smoke to the point of us both smelling like burnt food when we left. we ate on the patio to get some fresh air. bathroom was clean but has a code on the door you have to ask for.

Yup. There it is. The ever elusive 5-star rating. Why, you may ask? This place does two things supremely well. Bugers and a cashless system. This place sits next to a beautiful, old public library that does draw a lot of attention, and you may miss it because of that. However, if you stop in, you will be happy you did. You place your order and pay at the same time at a station near the front door. The staff is standing by to answer any questions you have. As soon as you pay, the magic starts. The space is breezy with huge bay doors that open at either end. They also have craft, which is a bonus. Not that mass-produced shit. So they help out local breweries, which is cool. All in all, this is a simple, well thought out place to have a burger, fries and a pint.

The best bacon burger I ever had. Bacon was perfect crispy, meat patty was a good size, meat juices and cheese blended perfectly, and bun was perfectly crispy. Also, it's a very nice with their seating outside. Felt very belonging to the neighborhood. And the chef got the burgers out pretty quickly. The curly fries were pretty bomb too!

Took a while to get my food. Lots of people are waiting. I feel like they don't cook burgers in an efficient manner. Then on top of that it was meh.

I was on my lunch hour so I didn't have a chance to take a picture of my burger because it's actually a half hour lunch break but it was fantastic. I suggest getting the deluxe because it comes with everything and the house pickles which are purple! They were absolutely fantastic and the curly fries weren't bad either. Just unfortunately a bit cold because I had to walk up from my job to get them and then back to eat but otherwise 8 out of 10 would definitely try.

To be clear, I am updating this review given a new experience and interaction with the business - both over yelp messages and the "owner" response to my first post. The problem is not that ALL bulgogi burgers are being misleading. The problem is with my order being wrong. The normally advertised and offered ribeye beef was literally substituted with a regular patty with Korean sauce. In the past, when they ran out of the ribeye, I was told they were out and just had to order something else. That's the right way to handle the situation. The substitution - with zero communication and charging the same price - is the wrong way to handle the situation.

Order from the kiosk, quick and great food. Wish we had more pickles to cut through the burger richness. Curly fries (not pictured) were decent as well. Patio seating out back and front.

BULGOGI BURGER IS TO DIE FOR! Tip - Order take-out and go to a Fremont Market Brewery close by (4 mins walk)! The combination of Lager Beer with Bulgogi Burger was just mind blowing! The burger patty was very flavorful and melted in mouth! The lettuce and tomatoes were perfectly paired with the patty and sauce Will definitely go again!

I asked one of the workers what his favorite burger was, and he recommended The California, so that's what I got! I also ordered the garlic fries after reading rave reviews. The wait was long but the freshness of the food made it worth. 10/10 for the burger. It was a very solid burger with good toppings and great presentation. 9/10 for the garlic fries. These fries were FRESH. I also love when fries have that crunchy coating on them. The garlic flavor was actually super subtle and for someone that doesn't like strong garlic flavor, it was fantastic. -1 because the fries were a over salted, especially near the bottom of the cup.

The food quality here is o-k but the service is much faster; basically the opposite of the U-district location. I found the katsu to be chewy. I didn't have any interest in finishing my burger. I do agree that Just Burgers is a "must try in Seattle" but I would not go out of my way to get one.

5 stars for all burgers and sandwiches and 3 stars for sweet potato fries and curly fries! We have tried Fremont troll - this is a fried chicken sandwich, very yummy; bulgogi burger - it has a fair amount of jalapeño and very flavorful beef here so if you can take up some spicy, definitely go for this one! Chicken Katsu sandwich - also very good; and there is your vegan option too, I gotta say among all the veggie burgers I have tried everywhere, this one is one of the best! I wasn't too impressed with the curly fries and sweet potato fries though cuz they were pretty thin cut and dry. You only get the crunchy but not the solid bite into the (sweet) potato if you know what I mean. Chicken strips are great.

This new Just Burgers location is conveniently located right beside the Fremont Bridge, in eyesight of the Fremont troll. It's on the corner, allowing for less than 5 minute parking for pickup way easier than the University location. We received our order right at the designated time to pickup. If you've had Just Burgers before you know the menu is very accommodating to all dietary preferences, burgers, fries, and milkshakes are fantastic!!! I'm happy there's another location, that's surrounded by great scenic views. Seeking a really good burger, I highly recommend Just Burgers!!!

Made an order for fries, sweet potato fries and 2 burgers. The order was inedible as fries smelt fishy and tasted terrible and the vegetarian burgers were sweet. I sent communication twice via the web form and have heard nothing back and it's been 9 days. Very poor service

Southwest burger was a juicy dream! Grilled and assembled fresh right before your eyes. The toasted bun was so good. I really loved the grilled jalapeños. We also got onion rings which were perfectly made- lightly brown and super crunchy. We tried and liked both the house sauce and the K-bbq. You order on the computer screen and it prints out a receipt and then you wait and they call your order. The restaurant was clean and pleasant to sit in. Nice staff. Can't wait to come back and try some more.

The fries (curly and garlic) and the milkshake are incredibly good. Arguably the best fires I've ever had. The burgers though... we've had better just about anywhere. The vegan burger lacked flavor: salt, pepper, even some garlic would have gone along way. I know it's healthy but does it have to taste like plain veggies? The Katsu burger here is not nearly as good at the Katsu burger from Seattle's Katsu Burger chain.

Really good burger and service but not too sure it was worth the price. If you got the money and in the mood for a burger then this is your destination though.

Just Burgers has one of the BEST vegan burgers ever! I always get the Ultimate Vegan, and it's amazing. It's so nice to be able to go to a regular burger restaurant that has plenty of vegan options! Everything tastes so fresh and delicious. I love coming here!!

I have passed by this restaurant several times and am happy I finally made it inside. It's a small place. You do your ordering at the single kiosk in the front. All the food is made to order. I unfortunately got stuck behind a party of two, so had to wait a few minutes before I could order. It sounded like it was their first time in to the restaurant, so ordering took a lot longer than expected at the kiosk. The two employees were just standing and waiting for that first order to come in to make the food. Since they didn't have anything to do, it seemed like they could have instead taken my order to speed things along. I am not sure if this ordering system is efficient during peak times. I ordered the smash cheeseburger, a regular cheese burger (which I didn't know didn't come with all the toppings - lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles). It seemed like it did when I ordered, but I was wrong. The employee was nice and gave me a side of each. My order of regular and waffle fries came out hot and crispy. Overall good experience. I

Had dinner here on a Saturday night and I was surprised that it wasn't crowded. This place takes self-orders as you walk in. The computer was very user friendly and pretty quick to navigate. Once we placed and paid for our order, we sat at a table of our choice. The atmosphere was very comfortable. It gave that rustic and fairy light feel with music playing in the background. The restroom here was very clean. The wait time for our food wasn't very long, maybe about 5-10 minutes. We ordered the Portobello burger, Bacon Cheeseburger & two Smashed Bacon Cheeseburgers for our kiddos. The portobello burger had the perfect amount of mushrooms, which tasted juicy at each bite. The Bacon cheeseburger was very good as well, perfectly filled with its bacons. My kids enjoyed their smashed bacon burgers, although, we'd wish they put at least more than 5 fries as their side. Seemed like they limit. We also ordered their garlic fries which was basically minced garlic slapped on top of a bunch of fries. It didn't make much of a difference. We had another order of their waffle fries to go with one of the burgers, which was good as well. I'd recommend to try this place at least once. if you never tried it before.

Possibly the best burger in Seattle , got the smashed bacon cheeseburger and fries , burger well seasoned and fries crispy. Simple and good.

I'm seeing a lot of very mixed reviews so maybe it's just a consistency issue. I found the burger to be pretty good actually. But the curly fries were awful. Somehow super hard and bland. Idk how you do that to fries. I'd love to see them investigate some improvements to the fries and I'd totally come back. I got the Tennessee burger and it was pretty alright. For more than $20 for burger, fries and drink, I was just expecting a bit more. Worth a stop given other positive reviews!

I figured with a name like Just Burgers, they had better make a great burger. In my opinion, they hit the nail on the head. Bacon Cheeseburger was seasoned & cooked to perfection. Will be eating here often.

Katsu tenders were friend to a crisp (thin, leathery meat, and dark on the outside). Essentially inedible. Ordered garlic fries - got regular friends instead, which were overly salty. Burger was NOT BAD but not amazing. I wouldn't go out of my way, for a smash burger, no meat lace, nothing to write home about.

I'm giving Just Burgers 5 stars. Deeeeelish! My husband wanted local tide and I don't eat fish. So, just down the road is Just Burgers. I grabbed one quickly and ate w him. This burger is phenomenal! Out of this world. Thank you!

The taste is good but their prices are outrageous they charge for lettuce tomato and pickles separately cancelled my order after seeing that.

I went to Just Burgers when they first opened a couple of years ago... and wasn't too impressed. I figured they had opening pains, so I'd give them another try. Positives: fresh, crisp, thinly sliced tomato/lettuce/onions on burgers. They do that right! Fries are fine. Smells great at the counter. Cons: the burger patty. Too dry and over-cooked (more than well done?) and not seasoned nearly enough. Makes for a pretty mediocre burger. I regret not getting in the car and driving up to Fremont and 43rd.

Just burgers is just awful. Easily the most over priced burgers in Seattle. Waited 30+ minutes for two small dried up cheeseburgers and dried up curly fries for the low price of 60$. Definitely avoid unless you have money to burn.

Got the bulgolgi burger here and it was delicious and tasty with the mayonnaise and lettuce and meat! There is a bar seating area if you're eating solo but there's a few tables for a few groups. I was pleasantly surprised. The only gripe I have is that the meat is a tad bit too salty for me. If they use less salt, I'd give it 5 stars!

Burgers are so greasy they soak the bun. Fries are non-descript and not worth the money or calories. Biggest complaint is that they solicit tips, yet provide absolutely no service whatsoever! Self order through kiosk, pick-up your own food, bus your own table. Tables were dirty from past guests. These types of places that ask you for a tip, but do not even greet you when you enter drive me nuts! Will never return!

It's tough finding a good burger in Seattle. The fact Dick's won the Seattle Times' Best Burger poll says all you need to know about America's favorite sandwich here in the Upper Left (yeah, I know it was a popularity contest rather than an actual best burger contest...). I've had decent burgers here, but nothing REALLY good like I've had in Billings MT, San Jose CA, and Milwaukee WI. Enter Just Burgers... They recently opened near me in Fremont, so I thought I'd give it a try. Every place that says "we only do 1 thing" always follow it up with "and we do it really well." Just Burgers doesn't say that, and for good reason. It's a "meh" burger; not awful, but not worth a return trip. One might think that warrants a 3-star rating, and one would be right. However, my online order said it would be ready in "17-28 minutes". I was expecting 15, but ok. I'm on my way home and will unload the car before grabbing the burgers figuring it was likely to be closer to 28 min than 17. No problem. Completing the order resulted in an email receipt, then another email confirming a pick up window 35 min out. Ok, marginally longer yet, but whatever. I wind up at the restaurant a little before my pick up window to find it ready. Get home, it tastes like it's been sitting a while. Checking email, I see another notification that it had been ready almost 20 min before I arrived, so about 30 min before I started eating. Maybe it was meh because Just Burgers doesn't have a good predictive scheduling system and I don't check email often enough. Nope, turns out I had been to the U District location about a year ago, and thought it was meh, too - that time taking out moments after it came off the grill. -1 star. I remember the really good burger joints in Billings, San Jose, and Milwaukee. The fact I forgot another Just Burgers location that I'd been to even existed means I'm still looking for something - anything - better than decent in Seattle.

Really smoky in there, Messed up order. Didn't give second party and threw away my burger after I just asked for the extra patty I paid for. They mad a new burger and threw the other one away which is wasteful, nice of them but no reason to throw away good food

Yum! These burgers were sooooo good. We got the cheeseburger and the southwest burger: the cheeseburger was very good, classic taste and not too heavy. The southwest was packed with flavour and sauces with good bites of jalapeños! The only negative thing was the burger buns were pretty burnt but that kind of added to the taste lol! Really great burger spot otherwise, would recommend!

The burgers and food are presented well on plate. But that's where the good part ends... The flavors were all over the place. The patties were too salty and didn't really have any other flavor. The katsu were deep fried bland flour... garlic fries were crispy and nothing more, the garlic wasn't even mixed in well into the fries they just dropped it on the basket.

My wife is vegan and this place has by far the best vegan burger I've ever had in my life. Highly recommend especially if you're vegan. Also, they made an extra burger on accident and gave it to me for free. Shoutout to the workers there, yall are the best!
