"If you're fans of Just Dogs ATL in McDonough, you'll be happy to add their Halidom Eatery food stall to your rotation. We like it because most of the combos here are $10, which is on the affordable end of the spectrum at this pricey East Atlanta food hall. The dogs (which come in six options including a turkey, Polish sausage, and vegan Beyond) are split down the middle and grilled for maximum surface char. Try the ATL dog topped with cheese, jalapeños, slaw, and sauerkraut (just ask to omit the grainy, underwhelming chili). Or CYOA and build your perfect dog by mixing and matching their 30 topping options, like pineapple or mushrooms." - Juli Horsford

"Gregory DuLac’s no-nonsense, McDonough-based operation expands to Halidom Eatery this spring. In addition to all-beef franks, expect Italian sausage, chicken sausage, red links, and vegan dogs in a variety of styles as well as made to order." - Sarra Sedghi

So I tried this spot and overall it was ok... I ordered the Philly Dog and the Chilli Split with fries and onion rings. Everything was made to order and very fresh. The dogs looked amazing as well!…. But… the chilli tasted canned and while the dogs were juicy, they charred them a little too long and the taste was very bitter and off putting. I could only account that to the grill being dirty. I do want to try it again because while it was a disappointment , the potential of this joint gives be hope. I’m from Chicago, so that Chicago dog will be my next one… don’t let me down

Saw this place on tik tok by one of those food critics and figured I’d try them out. I had a sloppy dog, Hawaiian dog, and sweet potato fries. I’m not sure what I expected but the sloppy dog didn’t have the flavor I thought it would considering all the bold elements and it did taste a little charred. The fries were pretty considering they were plain. The Hawaiian dog seemed to have been burnt. It was so charred that I couldn’t really taste any of the other flavors on it. I’ve seen other pictures of it so I don’t think mine was supposed to look like like that. Overall, the order was decent and food was hot.

Excellent customer service and very good hot dogs! I met the owner who was very professional and friendly. He was open to any of my suggestions in order to improve service. My order was freshly made. I got the Coney and a Philly and both were equally delicious! The best thing about them was that they were not filled with a lot of sodium which many hot dogs are. This allows you to enjoy the taste of the hot dog along with the flavor of the toppings.

Wanted a chili dog and heard a good review about them. We got lost because it's in the Halidon food court. Overall great quality grilled dogs with ample toppings. We liked that they also toasted the buns. Too much slaw on the chili dog took away from what I desired but the dog still was very good. The Chicago dog was also a good try just not as authentic.

I was looking for a gourmet-style hotdog, and this place did not disappoint! I tried the new location on Moreland Ave. The hotdogs were cooked to order, and the fries are true potato fries. An added bonus was meeting and chatting with the owners. Real nice people!

Simply delicious! Weekday happy hour special with 3 mini dogs + 3 toppings each is the best deal in this food hall, and it really hit the spot. I’ll be back!

Just Dogs ATL really have some of the best hotdogs. The use all beef dogs, grill them, and fill them with the best topping selections. I had the Chili Cheese dog and the Chili Split.

I got the Hawaiian Dog and the Mac and Cheese bites. I've been hearing people talk about the Hawaiian Dog, and I really wanted to try it for myself. The hotdog itself is butterflied open, so it gets a lot more flavor than you would expect. It's piled high with bacon, some pineapples, and sautéed red onions that have just a bit of a well-balanced vinegar twang to them. They cut the sweetness of the BBQ sauce nicely. The overall balance of the flavors within the entree was exceptional. For the expertise in how these flavors were balanced and put together, I feel that $10 was a great price for this hotdog. This isn't just a ketchup, mustard, and onions type of experience. It is also pretty filling. The Mac and Cheese bites here are larger than the mac and cheese bites that you see in other places, and there are more of them than you can see in the picture. Several were burried underneath. They were large enough that I got the texture of the good mac and cheese on the inside with a pleasant crunch on the outside. For $5, I definitely feel that I got my money's worth. It was a really nice treat, and I will definitely order it again. I want to try some of their other offerings. I've eaten at several hotdog specific restaurants and never really felt the need to write a review about one of them, but this was exceptional. Someone is putting these flavors together with purpose, care, and training. It's a lot more than the haphazard pile of chili and cheese that they have at other restaurants. That said, now I'm curious what kind of chili cheese dog a chef with this level of training could make. I might need to find out.

Yelp
My new favorite hotdog spot in Atlanta! My fav is the chili cheese dog and the sweet potato fries. Definitely about to be a regular. IG @miss_mekad

Yelp
So I was here so I stopped in and got me a Coney. From the Midwest, Detroit, so Coney is a really big deal. So I wanted to see what it was about. It's in a food hall so where it's at you have free parking. It's a really nice building and it looks like it was a food hall building that won some awards for aesthetics so it's very nice to look at. You'll come in and there's nobody to greet you, but there are people walking around and people behind the stalls and you have plenty of options to pick from. And it's kind of a multi-room situation because one part of the establishment has a lot of the food hall stalls and the other part of it has a couple stalls, some rooms you can probably reserve, and a very large bar. They have plenty of specials on some signage screens so if you go in just be aware of that. They have events like happy hour and music being played on a live situation and some other thing so just keep that in mind. Anyway, specifically about the hot dog situation, I ordered and got a beeper when it was ready. I got it and it was okay. It seemed like it was more chilly than it was dog. And because I'm from Michigan, I'm very critical on what a Coney dog should be like. Do you want the hot dog to be covered but not drowned in the chili. So not that it's bad but as you can guess this got pretty messy LOL. I thought it was tasty. It's not like home but it was pretty good. When I try other hot dogs from there, I would actually. I definitely would. It was a pretty good experience because I got the wok and see what other places were there so that was nice. But I had to do the Coney because it reminded me a little bit of home LOL.
