Just Salad

I got a surprise bowl from Too Good to Go so I’m not exactly sure what they served me. It was a bowl with some kind of meat substitute and a whole bunch of veggies, plus a bowl of minestrone on the side. Honestly, it was pretty great - much better than I expected.

Thank you for lunch😘🥰 Always loved just salad. Was waiting for this location to open up. Lunch break crowd looks crazy and like a nightmare. Ordering to pick up is the way to go. I usually build my own salad. This Mediterranean warm bowl they had a few months ago was slammin. I don’t think they have it any more. It’s a little expensive. Inflation sucks amirite? And I feel like sometimes the workers don’t pay attention to the notes but I still love it here. Always healthy and will continue coming back.

Good salad but just extra crowded during lunch. Not much of a seating area. The layout is weird. Very few seats . They should reconfigure the space. It is uncomfortable to eat in here during lunch. During lunch hour there was probably 20 people in line.

This is my go-to salad spot! I work nearby and prefer it over the other salad spots. Even though there’s a long lunch crowd, I feel like it goes surprisingly fast. I care most that the food tastes fresh and facility looks clean. Love the options too. Stefanie always makes my salad perfect. Highly recommend. Will be back next week!

Feel bad for the workers here.. AC does not work and the Air Quality is aweful. Smells like burning plastic last few times I have been.. left due to the air quality.. Hot days the folks working here need better conditions.

Love coming to this location, its become a weekly routine. Every morning around 11am, I know I will get a good service. It's usually Justin A., who is very friendly and patient. There is sometimes a line but nothing too annoying. He remembers my name and order which is a cilantro lime bowl, so definitely recommend this place.

Usually come here at least twice a week cuz my office is close by. Food is always consistent, line moves fast even during rush times, and the staff is wonderful. Love the energy from Hope! The ladies at the register are always so nice :)

This is a just salad restaurant located in Manhattan, close to Central Park, it located on the 52nd street, close to 6th avenue. There is a TD bank close to it. The restaurant is spacious and quiet and it is similar to other Just Salad restaurants. The cauliflower bowl is quite delicious and also the salad, however the portion is quite small and not relying even half full after having that.

Service: service is pretty good and lines move fast. Note if you are coming in around 12-2, the lines will be long but move very quickly. Do not be afraid of the lines. Live dangerously and hop on. You'll be done before you know it. Ambiance: it is a pretty clean spot but to be honest, I've never sat down to eat here because it is so busy. There is a pick up station for online orders by the door. I wouldn't want to eat where there are so many people over your shoulders. That is just me though. Food: I always get the buffalo chicken sandwich and i'll add an egg and avocado. I go heavy on the sauce because you only live once. YOLO lol. The chicken is juicy and it is plate if filling. They do offer bread but I wouldn't even call it that. It's like a giant crouton due to size lol. So if you want to grab a salad that is tasty, check out the buffalo chicken salad. If you are counting calories, I'd skip it, but I'd tell you live a little.

The salads look ok, but the smoothies are foul. I got the PB protein smoothie which tasted like a bitter blend of soapy spinach and spoiled milk. Ten dollars down the drain for a half blended up leaf.

Pretty decent online ordering experience! Not easy to substitute items but no biggie. I didn't realize the Chicken Fajita bowl didn't have any greens but I'm very happy for the option instead of a salad. I never liked their salads but the chicken fajita bowl is super packed and delicious. There's an option to add Japanese furikake seasoning at the end for free! I had selected that I needed utensils which they forgot to include at pickup but I just asked the girl behind the counter.

I used to live on the UES and went to the location on 83rd street pretty regularly so was familiar with the menu. Today i happened to be in the area after a doctor appointment at the nearby hospital and stopped by. I'm pretty sure i was overcharged. I had an AMEX deal whereby i would get $5 off if i spent $15 or more so when i saw the "pick 2" option for $15.69, i figured that would cover it. The guy behind the counter told me i could order any salad i wanted or build my own and get another small item (like a soup) all for for the 15.69 deal (plus tax). So i opted to build my own salad and get the soup. They did not tell me that even though this pick 2 items included any medium salad including the protein, it apparently did NOT include building your own salad with protein as that was an extra charge. So somehow, with a 15.69 pick 2 deal and minimal items on the salad (i did have one kind of cheese) and the protein, i ended up paying over $22 with tax. I feel this was incredibly deceptive as I obviously would not have built my own salad (and prob wasn't even going to order the soup) if i knew it was going to cost so much.

A new place recently opened in Midtown. I went to check it out though it was for invited guests during the soft opening. I sort of forgot about it since there are so many options nearby. It was one of those days when I didn't feel like eating since it was so hot. While browsing through mealpal, I saw Just Salad as an option. The option was Backyard BBQ Salad which contains romaine, breaded chicken, charred corn, sharp white cheddar, crunchy onions and smokey BBQ ranch. Sounds good to me. The salad was ok since I was hungry in an hour. Why was I hungry? The salad contained a thinly sliced bread, mostly lettuce, small pieces of chicken, and healthy portion of corn, cheese and onions. So if you decide on this, you might get something to supplement your meal. This is a spacious area. The seats are in the front and the counter is in the back. If you buy a blue bowl and bring it back on your next visit, you will get a discount. Enjoy!

I got the roasted buffalo cauliflower salad. It was ok. The dressing was pretty good. If you're really in the mood for salad and this place is nearby, worth a stop. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it though.

Have been here a few times and the quality is good for the price. A little bit more affordable than Sweetgreen and offers to bring your own Just Salad bowl to get an extra topping for free and reduce waste. Had a mishap where cheese was added to the Chipotle Cowboy when on the menu it is not advertised as having cheese. Other than that the salads are good and convenient for work lunch. Nothing out of this world but definitely satiating.

Decent enough salads, but please don't serve your customers rotten avocado. Come on, guys.

I LOVE!! Just salads my favorite is the Buffalo Chicken Salad, OMG!! Plus I love what the CEO is doing for the community. I first discovered there salads by winning a gift card from them. I became addicted. The staff has been extremely Friendly except the one in Chelsea on 17th and 8ave. The manager was rude to the employee who was taking my order. Due to the pandemic. It was curbside and I told the guy can I pay cash he said yeah. Which they didn't take cash, and the Latino female manager was screaming at him "Why you taken cash, we don't take cash!". It was an honest he made. He kept apologizing. I said no problem and that I was sorry and James him a CC. Aside from that that it a great place.

Usually a fine place to eat but I don't know how if I'll go back after getting brown chicken

There are multiple salad chains in Rockefeller area. Just Salad has never been a god experience for me. I ordered Thai crunch salad through an app and my salad had nary anything but greens. I went back a few times but I'm swearing off Just Salad. I'd rather go to sweet greens or chopt.

I work around the corner and was quite happy to hear they were opening up near by. I started going pretty much everyday and enjoyed my salads. The last couple weeks they ran out of avocado or other ingredients and my salads kept dwindling on things that I liked to order. I eventually received a chicken salad that had two pieces of totally raw chicken thrown into them. Raw as in still slightly frozen and never hit the grill. I was obviously put off from ever returning. I do think everyone who works at this location works really hard and is very friendly but the quality of how fast they need to throw salads together does not make the food worth it.

I Like the salads but can the pieces of bread possibly be any smaller? With all due respect it's ridiculous. (Btw this was not a single occurrence but rather seems to be the reliable norm)

Today, as a result of little sleep and a stressful morning, I ordered my lunch salad to the wrong Just Salad (about a mile away). The manager was so kind and remade my salad on the spot. I go here nearly every day for lunch, but I was overwhelmed by their kindness when I had a rough day. Will continue to be a loyal customer.

Super fresh, super healthy, big portions. They have $1 reusable bowls that allow you two extra toppings each time you bring it back. So convenient during my lunch hour, and such a clean space. You can even order ahead to pick up through their app, and earn rewards if you pay through the app as well.

Found a dead fly in my buffalo chicken salad after eating most of the salad. Will never be returning again this is just disgusting

I love this place, even there is many other stores in the city but this is my favorite, the staff is so nice especially Gabriela who recommend me my fist salad and its my daily salad so far, and based on my first experience with her I eat there every day, also Francisca who solved a tiny issue with an amazing way. Shoutout and welcome to the neighborhood! Today was my first visit and I was shown love and amazing vibes from the time I entered till I left. Khadijah and Demetrius let me know my options and put together the most delicious salad (ask for the Cowboy Chipotle with everything, light dressing)! And Toni gave me the greatest customer service link ever! BUY THE BLUE BOWL Y'ALL! It pays to slay with Just Salad!

I've been this location a few times since they opened and I've been very happy with my overall experience here so far. The food is simple, tasty, healthy, and you're given the caloric value for all of their menu items which is great if you're counting calories or being health conscious, and it is a welcome change of pace from many of the other restaurants immediately accessible on this block. I've also been very impressed with the service staff. Just today a woman named Genesis made my salad and immediately asked for my name, then she inquired about my day, what I do, and all around made me feel very welcome and like she was happy to be helping me. She also prepared everything quickly and efficiently, all while chatting with me, and I don't feel like the quality of my food suffered in the slightest. What's great is that this has been my experience with every person I've interacted with at this location -- genuinely kind, attentive people who seem to enjoy what they do and relish in putting a smile on people's faces -- something that can be a bit hard to find in this part of the city. All in all, I'm very happy this location opened up so close to my place of work, and I will be going here frequently. If you're looking for a fast, healthy, tasty meal at a reasonable price with great staff, this is the place to go.

So glad this location opened recently near my office! I have enjoyed my experience each time I've stopped in - friendly greetings & customer service, it's clean (so important to me), well stocked, and I think it's a better value than Chop't, which is also close. I always observed when I went to Chop't how small the topping portions were (salads were mostly just lettuce), and it was more costly. Just Salad sources locally and fixins' are fresh - at a reasonable price! Will definitely be a return customer. Special shout out to the crew last night - Issa, Chass, & Genesis - so friendly and helpful. When I mentioned to them how much I appreciated their customer service, one of the ladies said, "We want to treat our customers the way we like to be treated when we go out for something to eat." Simple and true. Thanks ladies!! :) Re the post below - it's really unfortunate about the fly, but honestly, it could happen in any restaurant, especially in NYC. I'm sure management will do everything possible to avoid it happening again.

I go here nearly everyday for lunch (I work around the corner) and I probably look forward to seeing the employees just as much as I do eating the food. S/O to Genesis M. and Wendy - appreciate the consistency!

Phenomenal service top to bottom from the counter staff (Wendy, Toni, Miriam, Nina) to the manager (Bobby) everyone went above and beyond to get me in and out with what I wanted

FINALLY! A Just Salad I can get to & through quickly during my ten minutes between meetings. Fast & friendly service, and delicioussssss! Bought myself and my work-wife a reusable bowl ($1 EACH!!) so we can make this a regular spot.

Tried ordering a salad for delivery tonight. They accepted the order and took the money. A minute after it was supposed to be delivered they canceled the order and offered a refund with no explanation. Turns out they closed for the weekend early (earlier than 7 on a weekend) took the order that was placed. Frustrating when working in a job that you can't readily order from another venue due to a shift rotation. Make sure you call and see if they are open prior to ordering
