Great location, beautiful neighborhood, easy walk to many places and easy access to 2 underground stations. Bond street station has Elizabeth line that access Heathrow airport. Room is spacious with marble bathroom. Club Lounge is great for breakfast and evening drinks and snacks. Great way to start and end the day. Service is somewhat missing for a 5-star hotel. Staff kept a distance and not particularly friendly.

This is a great hotel. The staff is excellent. Housekeeping was top notch - serviced the room twice a day and were very thorough. If you are an elite Bonvoy member or book a lounge access room, you will not be disappointed. They have a good breakfast with lots of options, snacks throughout the day, tea and scones and cakes in the afternoon, and wine and appetizers in the evening until around 8. At the busiest times they even have a staff member at a desk for questions. The door men are also great and numerous. The room I was given was lovely and spacious and had excellent windows - so quiet for being in the city. The only negative I can say was that they really should have 2 people manning the concierge desk. It appears this hotel caters to some demanding guests that plan nothing in advance - as such one person can occupy their time for quite a while. Very frustrating when that is also the location where you retrieve your bags or submit them for storage. That being said, the gentleman that was at the desk was top notch and showed incredible patience with several people that were above and beyond rude to him - he never missed a beat. I will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The stay was excellent; the room was clean, the lobby was very nice and comfortable, and the hotel staff were cooperative. The service was consistent and responsive. The location is very convenient, close to a bus stop and Marble Arch underground station (just a few minutes away). Regarding the negatives: - The rooms are considered ordinary and not luxurious. - The water pressure in the bathroom is very poor. - I hope they provide a bidet like other hotels nowadays.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. Starting with Alina at the front desk - she was so warm and welcoming. She even had champagne delivered to our room since it was my daughter’s and I first visit to London to celebrate college graduation. We had access to the executive lounge during our 5 day stay and it was so convenient and delicious. I wish I could name all the staff that helped us but I didn’t write down their names, but just know that they were ALL so attentive. The doormen were my favorite - Sulumian in specific (forgive me if I spelled his name wrong) was the best! He remembered us as we came and went and gave us invaluable help with logistics. His smile and cheerful demeanor really made our stay a memorable one. I will review our Tea at the Park Room separately but wanted to also mention that it was truly a beautiful display of British elegance. Altay, our server was gracious, informative and wanted our experience to be perfect - which it was! He even gave us some cake to go. The staff truly is remarkable!||||The only drawbacks - and don't think they can do anything about them but worth mentioning - is the bathtub proved to be difficult to get in and out. Both myself and my 20 something daughter slipped and fell as we got out after bathing. The grab bar is not in a location that is easy to access when exiting the tub. Even when the non-slip mat is placed in the tub, it still doesn't facilitate an effective method to get out. Also the king bed was rather soft and taco like, but after as much walking as we did, we still slept just fine.

The location is central and wonderful to explore. Even though the hotel product was not what I expected in comparison to JW across the world, the room was comfortable, could have been more spacious. Had a meal at The Park Room, the food was average, however their service was very good and it did make up for the experience. The Executive Lounge was certainly the highlight, with amazing breakfast, snacks and service. Overall a good place to stay.

My room number is 142 and stated at the hotel for five nights; the hotel location, security & staff were top notch and super friendly and welcoming! I had few notes for the cleaning lady and she has attend to my notes fully and was super efficient. The gym on sight is well equipped too. Lobby is beautiful & had wonderful selection of pastry and tea to choose from. During 3 PM onward there is additional security service on site which made the hotel feel safer and much secure. It’s my first time staying here & definitely not the last time 😍 highly recommending it 🙏🏻

Luxurious hotel, great restaurant, centrally located, easy to walk places, pleasant, professional staff, well appointed rooms. Everything you want in a hotel…except the view from both my windows! See image below. Not just one window, but both had a view of the AC air handlers. Very disappointed, particularly, with the price point for that view. When I spoke with guest services they stated there were no available rooms for two days. By then, we’re well into our scheduled early morning excursions and would have had to change rooms extremely early or quite late in the day. The VIEW was my only disappointment.

Such a great location and the staff are absolutely lovely, they couldn't be more helpful and accomodating. Special thanks to the finest server Christian, who took such good care of us every morning in the beautiful dining area; he remembered everything we liked from day 1. He combined a professional approach with a relatable friendliness, effortlessly; he, along with other staff members, would truly would be the reason my group would return for another visit.

I could wax poetic about JW Marriott Grosvenor House London because our entire stay was amazing. Grosvenor House is located in the very posh Mayfair. Think gorgeous flowers on every gate and footman in full suits with top hats opening the doors. Once we checked in (no issues with getting a room that is far away from elevators due to the sheer size of the hotel), we dropped into the lounge to pick up a few extra waters. Our room was spotless. I struggle with allergies and it was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. It was carpeted and had furniture and I still had no issues whatsoever. The AC and filter worked perfectly. Our only small issue was that we called several times for ice to be delivered (there is no public ice machine at this hotel) - it never was. My recommendation is to go to the lounge and either grab it from their ice bucket or request it from them directly. The lounge itself serves a very inclusive breakfast as well as dinner and snacks. Part of the breakfast could be considered English - links, scrambled eggs, rolls - but it also includes items that could be considered a Turkish breakfast - cucumbers and boiled eggs. These in addition to cold cuts are available in the fridge. While there was also a taxi stand at the end of the Grosvenor House drive, we never had any issues getting an Uber, even though cell reception was iffy in the lobby and several cell networks were having issues during our trip. All in all, JW Marriott Grosvenor House London really cinched our brand loyalty to JWs and I would absolutely stay with them again in a heartbeat.

Checked in and purchase the day before so I could check in at 10am., the front desk staff was really slow not busy. Given a key 3 times that didn't work and told sorry after numerous reprogramming efforts. Ordered room service and couldn't get the cc machine to work after the waiter forgetting it the first time. Everyone had an expectation for high pay and fees but service was totally disregarded I don't mind spending money on a quality location but I truly feel the standards have gone down a tremendous amount. I will stay at a less expensive location next time Really disappointed

Of all the Marriott properties in the London area this is my favorite. The staff are incredibly accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The service is exceptional and the hotel is centrally located to everything. Fwiw I typically walk almost everywhere or take the tube from Bond Street station which is. 10-12 min walk away. Be wise and get a room with lounge access. The breakfast is amazing. Then throughout the day you have somewhere to get a coffee, snack or drink incudint a scone or dessert. The rooms are nice and spacious. My only complaint is the poor planning of outlets around the bed for charging phones etc. There is a charging pad on one side and nothing on the other, not even an outlet. The bathroom is big but the shower does have a large step up for those who may be unstable. This is a great hotel and I recommend it without hesitation.

The JW Marriott Grosvenour is a true Classic! All my interactions with the staff were so professional and helpful. I arrived way too early for my stay and was able to leave my luggage with the super friendly concierge. I received a call way earlier than expected about my room being available and my baggage was in the room before I walked in. Checking in and checking out was a breeze with the front desk, especially Tashin who was a incredibly helpful with my early checkin. Getting a cab on my day of departure was just as easy as just asking for one from the bellhop. My room was upgraded to an executive suite which was one of the largest rooms I've ever had in hotel. Everything in the room was neat and tidy, with hints of luxury. There were wireless charging stations for my iPhone by the night stand, large screen TVs in the living and bedroom, the towels and robes were comforting as was the sofas and chairs in the living area. The executive lounge was awesome. Breakfast each morning included fresh juices, soft scrambled eggs, bangers, vegetables, smoked salmon and bagels, fresh baked goodies like croissants and scones. Evenings were filled with candy and desserts. There were multiple coffee/cappuccino machines to keep the lines moving at peak times. Bottled soft drinks and juices were available all day. The location across from Hyde park was excellent. The surrounding area is a bit quieter but also close enough to area attractions I wanted to visit. There are some features of the hotel that show some age but that mixes in well with some of the modern aesthetics. I totally dig the old school elevators even if they are a little claustrophobic. I'd revisit again the next time I'm in London for sure.

Hotel Lobby - 5 stars King suite room - 5 stars JW Steakhouse - 3 Stars Coffee shop in lobby - 4 stars Was at the JW Grosvenor House London for a work event. The hotel is in a great location across from Hyde Park. Amazingly when inside the hotel lobby you dont hear the busy street outside. If you are checking in or out be sure to ask your cab/rideshare driver to go to the back of the building. My cab driver brought me to the front of the hotel which was uncomfortable in unloading my luggage directly on Park Lane. The King Suite room is pricey but after staying at the hotel for 5 nights I think the room is priced well. The King Suite room was huge with a king bed in the middle of the room. Nice spacious desk with power ports to get work done first thing in the morning while I had my coffee. Tons of closet space which is perfect for both my wife and I to unpack our luggage. The bathroom was clean and really liked the door separating the shower, toilet from the sink. And even though the room had a partial view to Park Lane I did not hear the traffic noise unless the window was open. JW Steakhouse - See my review on the JW Steakhouse for details. Coffeeshop in the lobby - Nice to have but was surprised that it was not open early in the morning or late at night, both of which are when I need coffee most. When traveling for work I have gotten used to getting my second cup in the morning at 6am on my way to the office or event space. And getting back to the hotel around 10 or 11pm sometimes a good Flat White is perfect to end the night.

Visited to meet a long-time acquaintance for a short business meeting while he as visiting the UK. Everything about the hotel, the location, the staff, the service and the food was absolutely top notch!

I love the Marriott, so I'm always partial. Over the years, whenever we go on a long vacation, I always book the last city at a Marriott. This way I know, the beds are comfy and there will be plenty of towels. The flight arrived early into London so when we arrived at the hotel, I was just planning to drop off the bags. The girl at the front desk was so nice and accommodating, she was able to check us in and give us our room early. I was upgraded to a suite, it was very nice, and made me free a little bougie, not just the 2 big rooms, but the high end Yoga mat was a nice touch and left me no excuse for not turning on the Peloton Yoga classes. The big windows had a beautiful view overlooking Hyde Park. The hotel is large, but you feel very welcome. Doormen are helpful and friendly so are the rest of the staff. My room was always spotless. This hotel still has turndown service, so not only do you get chocolates, but you get clean towels too. Location is perfect... you can walk everywhere. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

We were so weary upon arrival. Hayley checked us into 2 rooms in the time it usually takes someone to check in 1 person! Isabel greeted us with superb customer service in the Executive Lounge! We certainly appreciated everyone getting us settled for a fabulous stay. The hotel smelled like fresh floral fragrances as we entered the lobby. There was live piano playing at 5pm. It was so relaxing inside that I no longer had a desire to go outside to explore! I got refreshed in an all marble bathroom with heated towels. Lounged in the luxurios bathrobe and slippers provided. An embarked on a remarkable evening!

This hotel is centrally located in a lovely neighborhood (Mayfair/Hyde Park). Easily walkable to tons of shops on famed streets (Bond, Oxford & Regent), restaurants and the tube (direct line to Canary Wharf was a must for me). I do agree with previous reviews, the rooms are outdated and could use a refresh sooner than later. The JW Steakhouse was a surprise - dined here a few times and had an overall consistent and solid experience. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in London - I do recommend.

Great hotel! The housekeepers left chocolates on our pillows and the kids were overjoyed. Restaurant included is great. Nice view. Polite staff.

This might be...top 3 hotel I've ever stayed at. We kept pinching ourselves, like is this real life? Beautiful, beautiful hotel. Top notch service from the whole staff. The stay from beginning to end was seamless, and the location was unbeatable. Very walkable to prime attractions. If nothing else, I would encourage you to come there for dinner or high tea just to experience it.

THIS IS JUST FOR TEA I did not stay at this hotel as a guest or go to any other part of the hotel. I've been to London a few times prior, but I was usually by myself, so I didn't do high tea, as one would do as a tourist. I've done tea at plenty of other places in the US (in the LA area and in NYC). This time since my cousin was going to be traveling to London to join me, I decided this would be a great time to enjoy tea time while in London. I booked in advance and made reservations. Upon arrival though, we probably could have just shown up since no one was really in the area they did tea. It was just us, some business men clearly discussion business and not doing tea, and another group of women having just dessert. There was so much goodness for us to enjoy. We each got to pick a tea, but we got a whole pot of it. We couldn't stop laughing because we each kept forgetting to pour the tea with the strainer over the cup. Our server was great. Just a sweet guy helping us out. It was probably good that it wasn't busy, we definitely got enjoy our time doing tea and chit chatting with each other. Considering how long we were there, I did wish for the pot to get warmed up though.

Disclaimer: once you walk into this hotel, you will never want to stay anywhere ever again. I absolutely loved my stay at the Grovsenor House. It was a great location that was secluded from the traffic of London, but still really close to everything. I walked over to Hyde Park in a few minutes and strolled over to the rest of the touristy things of London without a hassle. The room was beautiful with the most amazing bed (if you have read my reviews in the past you know how I feel about JW beds! I love them). I was here only for 1 night as I extended my layover in London before heading over to India for business travel. But this was the perfect way to break apart the long trip. I spent so much time sitting in the lobby just in awe at how beautiful it was. They have a really cool ambiance with nice soothing music and you can really spend hours just looking at the intricacies of the artwork and decor. The staff is great as well which really makes a huge difference when you are paying $$$ to stay in a hotel. This place is not cheap, usually runs about 300 GBP/night but it's 100% worth it if you can swing it. Trust me, it's one of those hotels that you must experience. Can't wait to come back!

My daughter and I tried six (yes, six) different gluten free afternoon tea parlors in London and this is the overall favorite. Best gf scones, most variety for gf people. The service was excellent and the ambiance was refined and comfortable. I would highly recommend this afternoon tea to anyone, especially gluten free people.

My wife and I were excited to take vacation in London and stay at the JW. After a long flight and terribly long customs line, we were excited to go relax and sleep. First impression of the hotel is very nice, what you would expect at a JW. This is the reason they received 2 stars, otherwise it would only be 1. At first we had to wait 10min for someone to check us in at the counter, not sure why they don't have more than 2 people assisting customers (by the way JW I am a platinum member). I receive much better care and attention at a courtyard rather than here. Finally we get to our room, and the disappointment does not end. We booked the Delux room, and this was very sad. The room has a huge wall separating the bathroom and the bedroom, this makes everything feel extremely small and cramped. We Bailey had enough room to put our suitcases without tripping over them. You had about 2-3ft from the wall the the end of the bed and the tv in the corner "so bring a neck brace if you want to watch tv". The bed was the biggest complaint from us, it wasn't even a queen, it was a full sized bed, ooo yea and the floor would have been more comfortable. The bed was rock hard, not a comfortable hard, just pier hard. We were so tired we went to bed, but woke up with pain and even more tired than we were the night before. I went down to the lobby to talk with the manager and see what they can do. They kept saying "there are no rooms available". All their rooms were booked, besides their Royal Suit (which goes for 14,000 pounds a night) I know this was available because I looked. Sorry, but that means your not completely booked, I did not care what they had to do, but I was not staying in that room another night. They were not even trying to accommodate my unhappiness, and they kept saying "because you booked with points" acting as if I don't matter because of this. What is the point of using points if I get treated this way? I would have booked with cash at this time. I let them know I would not stay another night, and I was not lying. The shower, I wouldn't call it a full shower. If you put your feet together you will fit. When I booked the hotel online it showed completely different pictures. What you see online is not the real room. The manager kept saying "all of our delux rooms are the same as online". Well then they gave me the broom closet because mine is not the same (I have attached a screenshot of their delux room and what it actually looks like) I called Marriott direct and they were able to accommodate me and move to another hotel. My wife and I are extremely happy with our move (read my other review to see the hotel I transferred too). Enjoy London, but book somewhere else!

Excellent Hotel in every way. Located on Park Lane right in the center of London. The hotel has excellent accommodations and the staff is great. Dominik Feller who is the Assistant Director of Food Service is a credit to Grosvenor House Mr Feller went out of his way to make our stay fantastic. The hotel is within walking distance of Oxford Street , Buckingham Palace , Hyde Park and other places of interest. The Concierge desk was helpful in booking tours and pointing out interesting attractions.The rooms are very comfortable. Overall this hotel is 5 stars in every way.

This was my first stay at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London. It is well located right near Hyde Park and a whole host of other great attractions...and it's only about 45 minutes from Heathrow via taxi which is a plus. The property itself is upscale and quite nice. My room was quite spacious (which is not exactly common in London). Additionally, they have a wonderful executive lounge which is well appointed and has a number of services throughout the day including breakfast, tea and evening canapes which were quite substantial. Room service was also quite prompt and the food of high quality. While the JW is not convenient to Canary Wharf (for anyone doing business there) it is a great property from which to spend time in Central London. My only negative (and the reason for 4 stars vs 5) was the time it took to check out on the morning of my departure. It took more than 10 minutes as there were only two staff at reception. I hope this was a fluke event as I do plan to return

My wife and I were in London last week as the world changed due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. We cut our trip short as such, but our stay at the Grovesnor House was amazing! The entire staff at the Grovesnor House provided outstanding service...from their valets, bell desk, registration, concierge, security, housekeeping, and bar/restaurant staff...every single staff member was great! When we checked in, we were upgraded to a King Superior Room, which was very nice. Maybe this was because the hotel was half full, but regardless...they didn't have to give us an upgrade. The concierge staff were incredibly helpful in booking tours for us, restaurant staff gave us free muffins after our breakfast, and the hotel security helped us track down my wife's cell phone after she left it in a black cab! Finally, we had to check-out a day early due to the travel restrictions associated with the pandemic and the hotel did not charge us for the extra night that was part of our original reservation. On top of the wonderful service, the location is perfectly situated in Mayfair. It's a short walk to Oxford Street, Piccadilly, & Soho, and Marble Arch & Green Park tube stations also nearby. Our room was nicely appointed, but a bit small. However, it suited our needs, so it wasn't really a problem. We plan on returning to London next year and we're looking forward to staying at Grovesnor House again. The service alone is worth returning for!

Beautiful hotel! A friend and I stayed here on a recent weekend trip to London. The front drive is beautiful and made me feel extra fancy pulling up! The staff was incredibly nice and the location was perfect! It was within a short walking distance of great shops and restaurants. Next time I visit London I definitely hope to stay here again.

The rating may be harsh but I arrived at 1615 and my suite wasn't ready. Since I had a 1700 meeting I had to leave my bags and exit the hotel. The frustrating part is that I was already checked in electronically and had taken the time to let them know my arrival. Even with late checkout available a room should be cleaned and ready by 4 pm. I know they don't have a lot of suites but given the price the room should be ready! Additionally the WiFi is below average at best. It drops in certain parts of the hotel .

Stayed here back in 2011 after our 2 week cruise on the Baltic. ATMOSPHERE: You're greeted by a small courtyard lined with exotic cars, and hotel staff dressed in formal wear. A very nice touch to the beginning (or for us the ending) of your stay in a world class city. The lobby is a mix of old and modern decor & colors. ROOM 402: Even our standard room felt like a small suite. Very over-sized and spacious with high ceilings. The colors are bold and vibrant, almost medieval-like. No free Wi-Fi. The marble-clad bathroom is spacious with a shower/tub and one sink. PARK ROOM & LIBRARY: My partner wanted to have afternoon tea because after all, we were in London darling. He loved it. I liked it. We had a whole mix of small sandwiches, fruit salads, scones, and champagne. It was a nice ambiance but just too formal and uppity for me. SERVICE: We really didn't utilize much more than the concierge, who were all helpful and informative. OVERALL: Beautiful hotel, pricey and centrally located.

Beautiful hotel, I was very impressed. I was here for a breast cancer fundraiser. It was a black tie event and I had to wear a tux which is rare. It was a lovely evening, lot of fun and a lot of money was raised for a great cause.

This is my favorite hotel in London. On my last visit, I was upgraded to one of their Hyde Park Suites which has a huge living room (with the full view of Hyde Park), a bed room, 1.5 bathroom, and a hallway to the entrance - see the photos. I have elite status with Marriott, but I did not expect to see all the goodies - a bottle of nice red, full cheese plate, fruit basket, General Manager's hand-written welcome letter, bottles of water, chocolates, etc. - when I walked in the room late in the evening. All the employees I met were really nice. Their Executive Club Lounge serves full breakfast, snack throughout a day, evening appetizers/drinks. They even extended Lounge hours in the evening for us. ;p I cannot wait when they complete the whole renovation...

Spectacularly elegant. Classic. The food was average, so we found nearby breakfast places, and had dinner reservations elsewhere. Very comfortable, but room service small but it is old. Charming.

First impression... beautiful property Second impression...great customer service from the bags being grabbed by the bellman to a clear, smoothe and friendly check-in We have been at this hotel for the week. As a platinum elite member with Marriott I probably have a high expectation of the room, property and staff. This hotel exceeded expectations in every way closing with our final evening in a wonderful way! Chris Strom was the staff member in the executive club in the evening when I popped in. Earlier that day I was in the coffee shop and noticed the decadent cheesecake. I asked him about it, when and where I could get one if my husband and I decided to splurge. Chris was friendly and informative. With a knock on the door later our last night in London was perfection as we delighted in the decadence of a perfect cheesecake. Next time in London this is our first choice for hotel and I recommend it to all.

I loved everything about this hotel! The location (across from Hyde Park) the elegance of the lobby as you walked in and our room! This is by far one of my most favorite hotels in London! We were a few minutes walk from the famous Oxford Street and the shopping at Selfridges! The staff were very friendly and the Executive Lounge exceeded my expectations! Delicious assortment of food and drinks available all day!

Wow! I highly recommend this hotel. We are here celebrating a belated honeymoon (married last October) and could not have picked a better spot to start our trip. First off the hotel itself is impressive; lobby, our room, common areas you name it. The staff here is world class. The location is perfectly placed next to Hyde Park and only a .5 mile walk for a Tube ride. Also with status at Marriott we had access to the Executive Lounge which was a great perk. Additionally each morning we had complimentary breakfast at the JW Steakhouse, again a perk from status. Highly recommend.

If I disregarded the room we were assigned and all the trouble we had getting to and from it, this review would be five stars. If I only rated the Grosvenor House on the sleeping accommodations it would be no more than 2-stars. The hotel is an impressive 'pig' with beautiful 'lipstick'. A prestigious location with a highly professional staff that must attract a affluent class of guests since the rear entrance/courtyard was full of Lamborghini sports cars, Bentley and Rolls Royce coupes as well as the ever common Mercedes Benz AMG autos. The JW Steak restaurant was sampled for both breakfast and dinner and there was not a single aspect that could be criticized - short of we were induced to over eat the ample portions. The wait staff and servers were exceptional - in line with any fine dining establishment. All the above pomp and substance evaporates once you try to get to your room; because you may have to wait 10 minutes for an elevator to arrive at the lobby, and at least that long to get an elevator back down because of the lack of functioning lifts and the ones working usually being FULL. As for the room - I guess every hotel has their inward facing rooms that have an obstructed view of the air conditioning units, and someone has to stay there. Some guests who are not concerned about a view might overlook their bad luck. But when you point out to the front desk that a room that was booked months ago for two guests has a bed sized more for an individual than a couple and they cannot even accommodate a guest with another room with two twin beds for lack of a full size queen or king; you loose the joy. Also, with all the fine choices of toiletries to choose from in London, the Grosvenor House puts out Generics made in China... Have dinner at the JW Steak and then stay somewhere else. Unless your a preferred billionaire who they want to cater to instead of the common millionaire riff-raff who will be gone before the weekend.

This was our first time to stay at Grosvenor House. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. We are elite members of Marriott, but that doesn't mean that we are always treated elite. This hotel was extremely efficient and polite. They gave us an upgraded room straight away. The executive lounge is like no other. It is very nice sized and comfortable. The food is quite varied and the service is impeccable. I have never seen a lounge with shower facilities. This lounge has shower facilities for those guests who need them for whatever reason, be that they can't check in when they want or they wish to shower before they leave for their flight. It is located near the American Embassy and Hyde Park. I was most happy to stay here and would definitely consider this hotel again in the future.

We had a great stay at the Grosvenor House. The staff, room and accommodations were wonderful. I know it is pricey but it was a once in a life time splurge. The room service has a wide range of Indian options which was fantastic for me since my partner has a plain grilled cheese sandwich palette. The central location is perfect for traveling about in London and not the crazy flash mob scene on the Southern Bank. My understanding is the room size is large for London. Having been a frequent visitor to New York, New York this is quite true. The executive lounge has an extensive list and the drinks are enough to payoff the price of the additional fee charged. It was well worth it for us to have this option. I appreciate all the assistance the staff gave us and had a wonderful experience!

Hotel is very stunning; the interior design is remarkable, brilliant, rich and full of life! Love the green as the accent color; it flows nicely with the neighboring park. The staff has been great, especially the staff in the executive lounge!! Each staff member I met or witnessed had the upmost professionalism and kindness towards all their guests (even the rude guests that were tipsy from their one-too-many cocktails). To say the staff was patient is an understatement to what I witnessed on Sat night. Overall, the staff from every aspect of this hotel is great, always has a smile, a greeting with organic warmth, and kindness. Lastly, the food is fantastic here, In Room Dining too!

The Grosvenor House Hotel is the prime location were they always have the after-show party event during the BAFTA Film Awards weekend.

For travelers who prefer location over modern decor. Room decor is dated and bit run down, but the hotel is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. You can enjoy live music in the lobby while grabbing a drink or tea.

We got a corner room so it was huge! Way bigger than expected, especially for a room in Europe. The rooms have that wonderful traditional style, and everything is cozy. The bathroom was updated as much as possible, but still no bells and whistles since it's not a modern building. We did love the towel heater tho :) The executive lounge was great. One of the better ones I've been to. The breakfast spread was always full of good choices, and I was able to fill up to get me started on a full day of activities (and I eat a lot and often :)). We never made it back in time for the evening spread, but it sounded like they had good options that you could make it meal if you had to. The lobby was also very nice. Totally updated and felt transitionally modern. We did come after Ramadan ended, so the hotel will was filled (and I mean FILLED) with guests from Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Apparently, this hotel is a popular choice (makes sense bc of location and quality). This just meant that all of the public spaces were always busy and there wasn't really anywhere to go if you just wanted to chill. Just something to be wary of if you're looking for a quiet vacation, but it was fun to see the super rich in action tho :)

I loved my stay here and felt very "royal." That said, I must admit that I wasn't paying... We stayed on the "special" floor where there was an amazing lounge stocked with all the (complimentary) essentials at all times of day: cocktails, delicious fancy-ish appetizers, etc etc. We spent a lot of time here... Our room was GORGEOUS and we slept SO well here. The concierge was super helpful and helped us score great theater tickets for The Lion King (amazing!) and Chicago. I was also super impressed with the hotel gym. The pool and work-out rooms were gorgeous and convenient. I could over-indulge in the London fare and come home without too many extra kilo's...

As a long-time Marriott patron I must say that the JW Grosvenor House has set itself apart from the pack. I've been to Marriott brand properties across the world and I must say that after a thoroughly enjoyable four night stay, I will miss the hospitality and courtesy of the staff as well as the care that is taken with the facilities. Our trip to London was primarily geared towards sightseeing, and as a base of operations for those activities I feel this hotel served it's purpose well. From the clientele you can tell that this property tilts towards the business traveler, though you will not feel out of place at all if your primary purpose is for sightseeing. You may even catch some sights of interest within the lobby itself. For me, the highlights have included: The staff. They are professionals on all levels, friendly and courteous. Do not hesitate to ask them for your needs, You can tell that they will go out of their way to help you. The facilities. Top notch across the board. Everything is in its place and organized. You will appreciate every detail, down to the piano player in the lobby to the floral arrangements. The sum total creates a polished and yet comfortable experience. In this instance, they have created an excellent example of service design. I feel it is one to be repeated across other properties. The amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the concierge lounge, frankly after visiting several other Marriott properties over the past few months, this one has made them all pale in comparison. Kudos to the staff. They provide a top-notch environment. All-in-all, we chose this property to spend our points on, above others in the area, and we are very happy that we did.

The hotel was exquisite. They met our every need. Perfect location for visiting Hyde Park. Perfect way to Celebrate my 50th Birthday.

Easily one of my favorite hotels in the city. Close to the local stuff and easy to get to and from. Lounge is one of the best I've ever been to. Very helpful staff with a quick check in and out. Always look forward to returning.

We've stayed here a few times and this is one of our go to hotels in London. We landed early and went straight to the hotel. Unfortunately the room wasn't ready so we hung out in the lounge for a few hours. Annoyingly they refused to let us know a rough time as to when it would be ready. The lounge is fairly comfortable though but gets packed. Eventually, I went back to the desk and they were able to get us a room, still a while before check-in. Rooms are solid, though the shower only has half-doors which can be a bit messy. Great location. We love Mayfair.

Classic Luxury at this hotel with a great central location. The Grosvenor House offered large suites with all the best accommodations. The front desk staff is very friendly and offered help anytime I needed to make a reservation, order a taxi, or needed an ice bucket sent to my room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a luxurious stay in London.

We stayed a few days prior to our cruise. Hotel is not very good for persons with mobility issues. Hotel was very clean, staff very nice. We booked a room for three adults, but had to pay for a rollaway bed as there was only one bed. Hotel is in a great location, albeit each window had a view of a construction crane. No fault of the hotel, just disappointing.

The BEST hotel I have ever stayed at in London. Perfect location to get everywhere quickly. Walking access to a few tube stations, immediate taxi service and plenty to walk to. Both days I walked to the sites and only took a taxi to return home in the evening. Of particular notice are the doormen at this hotel, they were not only extremely prompt with anything we needed, they were SO friendly. Offering advice on places to go, and kindness on all sorts of little things. I was also very impressed with the size and offerings in the executive lounge. We were only able to attend cocktail hour and stop by for coffee, but both times it was impeccably clean, well organized and stocked. Outside of all of the perks, the room was HUGE, very comfortable and outfitted with everything we could possibly need for our stay. We were able to stay in one of the newly remodeled suites and you could tell that quite a lot of effort went in to the planning and decorating of all of the rooms. Of note, the hotel also had fresh flowers throughout the lobby, rooms and hallways, which in a big city such as London is quite the commodity. We will be back.

Service and location were unparalleled. The location is adjacent to Hyde park with access to all the major areas in London via Tube, bus or Taxi/Uber. Close to Knightsbridge, Carnaby and 15 minutes from the action of the London's Eye and Big Ben. Super clean, hotel. Excellent service. Highly recommend upgrading to obtain lounge access for breakfast, snacks, drinks, and dinner options. 45 minutes from The airport as well. There are 3 major restaurants In The Hotel. However, some of the top restaurants in London are a few minutes away by walking. They fitness room looked great (didn't take advantage of it). Only thing missing was the pool. Overall, great hotel. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

I would not recommend this hotel. Staff is incompetent amd rude. They are supposed to be a 5 star hotel yet all signs point to 2 star. It makes no sense that when you check in they dont have the reservation that you made amd give you a kids bed on a smoking floor. Who has smoking floors? I am very sad that marriot bought starwood. There goes good hotel experiences. Let me add to the fun. So they promise to switch rooms amd that when i return from work (btw being from cali) it makes for long days. I have a evening meeting and whats so awesome? No room. First they tell you its ready then make you sit around. They say they have challenges. I think the challenge is they dont know how to run a hotel.

This is the best place to stay in London and I have realized that after staying in all the big ones in and around Trafalgar square. The location is perfect with proximity to Trafalgar square, oxford and regent street (shopping) and personally for me its very close to all my offices. The service is impeccable. I am never staying anywhere else in London. One you have stayed here its hard to like any other hotel.

Really enjoyed this hotel. The lobby is covered in gorgeous flowers when you walk in. When we first checked in it was all purple orchids. After a couple of days it changed to yellow flowers. Love the feel! Room was spacious and nice. Two issues that caused me to give this only 4 stars were the bed and the bathroom. For this level of a hotel I expect a higher quality bed that was more comfortable. The bedding was fine it was just the bed. For the bathroom the towel heater was on and I learned about this by burning myself. And the drain in the shower was a little slow. Outside of that it was a very spacious bathroom. Concierge lounge was outstanding! We only used it for breakfast but they had a huge variety and the service was fantastic. Gym was great! Large space with plenty of cardio (bikes, treadmills, step masters and row machines), machines, weights, cables and even a smith machine. JW steakhouse sat at the bar for drinks and a small snack. Drinks and bartenders were great! Tortilla soup was okay. Sweet potato fries and bread were yummy. They have a good Starbucks on property and location of the hotel is perfect. It sits right on Hyde park. The concierge desk was also incredibly helpful. Overall great service and great hotel. Recommend this hotel and looking forward to coming back.

Experienced an old school British tea. Quiet and classy, and the staff was more than kind. Can't wait to drag my mates here for tea.
