I visited this place during a weekday lunch. I had high expectations due to the great reviews, and the taste did not disappoint. The chicken captured the best qualities of Korean fried chicken and was absolutely delicious. The surroundings were clean, and the space was spacious. However, there were a few downsides. The servers were very slow and not particularly friendly. They didn’t seem inclined to explain the menu or assist first-time visitors. If you’re visiting for the first time, I recommend studying the menu beforehand. Also, make sure to allow plenty of time, as the food takes quite a while to come out, and the staff is quite laid-back. That said, the food was so good that I still want to give this place a high rating.

Google
It’s hard to get five stars out of me but this restaurant deserves it. Staff is very friendly, clean restrooms, interesting interior and the food is fantastic! We had several variations of chicken - each unbelievable. Virtually no oil or grease on anything that is fried. Super fresh ingredients.

I stopped by for lunch and had a great experience! If you're a fan of Korean fried chicken, this is the place to be. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including wings, tenders, sandwiches, K-tacos, and rice bowls, all with an array of delicious sauces. They also offer a lunch special, which includes wings or tenders, fries, and a sweet pancake. I went with the wing special, topped with creamy onion sauce, and it was fantastic. Both the service and food were excellent, and I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in the area for lunch.

Google
Crispy and delicious Korean chicken just like I had in Seoul. They have a great variety of sauces as well as desserts. I loved their highball (traditional Korean cocktail drink) menu. The honey pancake was freshly made, and tasted akin to a “fried donut elephant ear.” Their chicken was crispy on the outside with a sweet honey soy sauce, yet the inside was juicy. The staff were very kind in explaining the menu. You really can’t go wrong with any of the sauces. Highly recommend for lunch or a casual date night with some drinks!

Opened while back and finally got to try K-Coop. Went back in July 2024. I started with spring & summer special shandy. Mango and Pineapple shandy were pretty good; it was a bit sweet, but did complement by meal. Service was mediocre; it wasn't busy visiting on a weeknight. Menu was quite overwhelming; there were too many options for an indecisive person like me, but for others who like options, there's a lot to choose from. Here's what I got. sweet onion creamy onion chicken: flavorful soy spicy: color is beautiful but I didn't like the flavor. I wish there was more spiciness or gochujang flavor soy honey gizzard: flavorful; texture and crispiness was good, but there was too much batter Would I go back..? Hmm... I'm not sure.

Google
Very fun place with a large menu of unique dishes. Loved the wings but can't wait to come back and try other things. Good prices and generous serving sizes.

This past April was my wife & I's very first time here and was a rather pleasant experience at a Korean chicken venue. In the vein of CM Chicken, K-COOP boasts a fine menu with the chicken being the highlight and is absolutely dee-lish! This was our first experience with Korean style chicken and we loved it. A new type of dining experience to add to our wknd routines. Not sure when the next time we'll be in being we were just leaving Old Orchard and wanted to explore restaurants away from the mall before heading home which is in far northern Beach Park in Lake County. Guessing this is a small local-owned business and I wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

Yelp
Best beef burger and chicken sandwich in town. We have been a loyal customer since opening. We had hard time finding juicy burger in north part of Chicago including north shore areas. K coop saved us

Yelp
Came on a whim after a Costco haul nearby and stumbled upon this gem. Vibes are 10/10. Interior reminds me of a pocha style in Korea. Warm lighting with tvs playing Korean dramas of Kpop songs. The food was great. Their menu is cool in that they have wings, chicken sandwiches and some burger options, tacos and some Korean snacks. The prices and proportions are great. We ordered 30 wings thinking these were gonna be small, but the wings have a lot of meat and crunchy breading, so little goes a long way. Food came out hot and fresh, full of flavor. Best part besides the food and vibes was the service. They have a bell on the table that you can press that notifies the server is needed. This is standard in most restaurants in Korea and love that they adapted that here. Servers were kind and efficient. Overall highly recommend for good food and vibes.

Yelp
Came here for an early lunch (11:30ish) on a weekend and KCoop already had several tables seated and eating. I'm not surprised as this place throws down when it comes to fried chicken. This small business is a casual spot that can seat about 40ish people indoors. I also noticed an outdoor patio which I'm sure is utilized during the summer. Service is great for an introvert, it's quick and convenient. Instead of having someone coming and going there is a magic button on each table that lets the staff know when their customers need something. Very smart! My fiance and I tried 5 wings tossed in the spicy rookie sauce and 5 classic wings with Korean bbq and creamy garlic sauces for dipping. The chicken is breaded and cooked perfectly. It was juicy and all the meat easily fell off the bone. As for the sauces I truly only cared for the creamy garlic. My fiance likes the spicy rookie out of the 3. I'll just have to come back to find which one I like best! Going forward I think I'll stick with ordering the classic wings and have the sauces on the side.

Yelp
Definitely good food especially the chicken fries. You can smell the garlic as you take it "to-go" while u are driving your car. The batter they use is exceptional and makes or keeps the chicken pieces tender. The flavors are really good . Worth coming back even if the prices are high !!

Schyler D.

Yelp
Was driving somewhere and the building caught our eye. We basically immediately turned around to try it. Wonderful decision. Menu is full of awesome Korean dishes. The hotdogs were tasty, the dumplings were crispy and so flavorful. Then our entrees came out. I got tenders, half spicy bbq and half soy garlic. Both flavors were unbelievably good. So rich and complex, yet immediately delicious. And the breading on them was perfect too. Light and almost disappears but extremely crisp and impactful. A must try for Korean wing/fastfood lovers!!!

Yelp
First time at actual restaurant vs a carryout. Food delicious & hot. Servers prompt and friendly. Could do without the multitude of screens, but that's the ambiance. We all loved the Korean chicken. We will be back; my granddaughters favorite restaurant!

Sandy N.

Yelp
Love to see more Korean fried chicken restaurants popping up. I got Take out on a Sunday night and took 20 minutes. I got the chicken wings, gizzards, pickled daikon, and the sauce on the side. I love the option to have multiple sauces on the side because I can never commit to just one flavor. My fried goodness was fresh fresh and piping hot. I like how the take out containers allows venting so your chicken doesn't get soggy. It's the little things. It was packaged nicely with everything I needed for take out which I appreciated. You get a ton of fried gizzards. Too much for 2 people so I recommend you share with a group. There was a bit too much breading for my liking. You can only eat so much of it. I'm interested in dining in next time and trying their French fries since all the reviews rave about they. Give this spot a try if you want crispy chicken!

Boyle W.

Yelp
We've done take out here a lot and it's always fun, but this is the first time I've dined in. The chicken is great, although I'm not always super familiar with their 16-pieces = a whole chicken cutting technique. I'm not saying it's wrong, but my brain is so dulled on KFC or Popeyes 8 piece cut up. The table has a little clicker which calls the staff when you're ready to order or need something or ready to pay. While the chicken is delicious, it's a lot of fried food overall. It's a complete meal, sure... but I wouldn't call it a balanced meal. The honey pancakes are a delicious way to cut through some of the fried and saucy of the chicken though. It's a little noisy, but not too bad. This is a spot to unwind with a drink and some fried foods after too much partying elsewhere.

Audrey L.

Yelp
Delicious spot for Korean fried chicken! There's a ton of different flavors and sauces to choose from, and the chicken comes out hot and fresh. Prices are reasonable too, considering how much chicken you get in an order! We got the classic chicken tenders with soy honey and kbbq sauces. The chicken came out hot and had a nice crunch. The sauces were good too, I liked them both! We also got cheese balls and I was surprised by how much I liked these! They are made with mochi flour so the texture is nice and chewy, and inside is filled with melty cheese. If you're considering an appetizer, I'd recommend trying these. Overall really enjoyed the food here! The only downside I had was that I wish they offered a smaller size chicken order on the menu, since we wanted some more chicken but didn't want to get the full 1lb.

Ann M.

Yelp
Friendly staff, large seating area, and from what I've tried so far, great food. I stopped in while out running errands, and grabbed a couple appetizers to go - the cheese balls and the calamari. The cheese balls were similar to a Hoosier fried biscuit, a little sweet, crispy on the outside, and soft and chewy inside. Unlike fried biscuits, though, these had a cheesy core. I would have liked a little sweet dipping sauce with them, like a fruit preserve similar to what's served with a Monte Christo, but they were pretty yummy on their own without this. The main reason I went in the first place was to try their calamari. Another Yelp review had pictures that made it look like they were rings only, which is completely my jam. I'm not a tentacles fan. When I ordered them, I asked to make sure that this was what they were, and she confirmed. They were thin rings, crispy and fresh, delicious, and plentiful. I'll definitely be back, and will bring my husband with me and try dine-in next time!

Nick P.

Yelp
Chicken is fully cooked and no stench. I'll get that out of the way. I don't trust reviews with a lot of grammar and spelling errors. They have a good amount of parking spaces. Service is good. Employees are welcoming. Prices are average. So, for a group of 3 or more, I would order 30 wings or more depending on the size. 20 would only be enough for two people. Chicken wings were pretty juicy not dry and chewy. -Screwberry 5/5 these are delicious drinks -Helomelo 5/5 -Fried calamari 3/5 these are good but wished the portion was more for $12. -Honey pancakes 5/5 -Cheese balls 3/5 these were okay -Tossed chicken wings - kbbq 5/5 -Classic chicken wings 5/5

Karyn M.

Yelp
Introvert like me? Here is a perfect lunch spot. Parking lot, small tables you can face away or towards the parking lot. Lunch special is Tuesday thru Friday for wings or tenders for 9.99 and includes fries, sauce and honey pancake. There's a "magic" button to ring when you want to order or request the check. At your table there are plenty of napkins, ketchup and a small trash receptacle. So basically you are pretty much undisturbed and you don't have to really talk to anyone if you don't want to. Just you and your crispy crunchy fried chicken and you and don't have to share with anyone! Enjoy and savor. The fries were better than I was expecting. I didn't care for the honey pancake -- it seemed like two hamburger buns pressed together with a thick paste. The chicken was excellent as always. I was finished in less than an hour. Perfect!

Aden C.

Yelp
The greatest restaurant I have every been the chicken is crispy the sauce is so good it healed my soul like omg best place to eat food ever ;)

Michelle L.

Yelp
1000000000/10 best Korean fried chicken place there is! Love the servers and owners with all my heart and they always make sure to take care of me and my family. My mom is in love with the cheese balls and the white onion chicken !! I have to constantly order from here to go when I visit her. And the ambiance is always clean, spacious and modern!

Joee G.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to have k-coop caterer at work last week. I was able to sample different chicken pieces with a large variety of sauces. Also had the waffles fries and coleslaw. The chicken is outstanding. SO crispy and crunchy and the meat is tender and juicy, even after sitting out for a little while. I even took some home and air fried the next day and it tasted just as good. I loved sampling different sauces and my favorite was soy spicy. Fries were fine but not the star of the show. And coleslaw was tasty- had a peppery kick to it.

Lan N.

Yelp
This is probably one of my favorite Korean fried chicken spots, hands down. Morton Grove is like an hour to my house during the week with traffic, but the chicken is still crunchy and crispy by the time I get home. I mean it's not piping hot, but still crunchy. Without the sauces, the chicken itself is still flavorful. They have so many sauce options and I personally like it on the side for dipping, but you can get it tossed too. My favorites are the spicy major and ancho chipotle. The creamy garlic and spicy KBBQ is up there too. I actually like all their fries options, but the curly fries are my favorite. Their pickled radish is really good too. I love, love, love the honey pancakes. I work really close to this, so their lunch options are really nice and decently priced for how much you get (5 wings/tenders, fries, and a honey pancake). I'm usually super stuffed after. I wanna try their corn dogs next time to see too, but I'm usually stuffed after the chicken haha

Frank T.

Yelp
Grabbed a wing lunch special. 5 crispy wings. 3 flats and 2 drumettes. These are large pieces. Not tiny parts. comes with honey pancake (yummm) which I never had before. I switched onion rings for the fries. Decent portion size for the rings. Crispy smooth batter rather than the craggy ones which I prefer. Good onion flavor. The chicken doesn't taste marinated. So the flavor comes mainly from the batter and sauce. I had the spicy soy which is very good. I just wished the chicken had a bit more flavor. It has a great crunch.

Michelle G.

Yelp
The korean fried chicken here is solid / decent, but there's definitely better korean fried chicken to be had in other parts of the city and Chicagoland area. They do have parking, which is convenient if you're someone with a car who prefers to drive easily and with parking. I tried their Korean corn dogs and their cheese balls. The fried cheese balls were fun, you can definitely taste the glutinous rice flower and it has some sweetness. My companion wasn't a fan of the sweet salty combo in the cheese balls, but I enjoyed it. I've had better Korean corn dogs (I would say the best I've had in this metro area is at Seoul Stick in the city).

Kevin Z.

Yelp
I get that not tossing the wings with the sauce keeps the wing crispier, but I still would have preferred them tossed over dipping them. Personal preference. Otherwise, the chicken is great--juicy and crispy.

Elaine M.

Yelp
@kcoopchicken has a Fall / Winter special - Chicken Ramen. Offered in either plain or mild. The mild was orange colored and pretty spicy. Mild" Chicken Ramen - Fall/Winter special only. Chicken breast, whole hard boiled egg, corn, and edamame with noodles in a rich chicken broth. In general, we prefer pork based ramen broth, which is not offered at this chicken spot. The soy garlic wings were crunchy, perfect sauced, and piping hot. Hits different than the carry out with sauce on the side that we usually get. Definitely recommend. We also love the snow onion chicken and the truffle aioli chicken. Honey pancakes finish off any meal perfectly. Included in the weekday lunch special or as an order of 3. KPop on the 3 tv's. Kpop music overhead doesn't seem to sync with any of the screens. The place still has a good vibe though.

Latiful A.

Yelp
Came by for lunch. Service was 5 stars, ambiance was fun/casual and food was above expectations. From the moment I walked in this place felt special. We were actually greeted at a non Michelin star establishment, and once seated the essentials were all brought without having to flag a server down. Chicken was cooked perfectly in my opinion. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Sides were really good as well. The jelly filled pancakes are highly recommended for those who enjoy sweet and savory at the same time. I got the creamy garlic dipping sauce and that was really satisfying. Certainly a repeat type of restaurant can't wait for my next trip.

Chendara L.

Yelp
One of my favorite Korean fried chicken places in this area. The first time I came here a few months back, I dined in. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. At that time, I ordered chicken wings and mozzarella sticks the wings were great. The mozzarella sticks were okay. Same as everywhere else. Today, I ordered the chicken tender lunch special. They had it ready within 15 minutes for me to pick up. I brought it back to the office to eat and it was still good. The lunch special came with chicken tenders with one sauce, fries, and a honey pancake. I added the pickled radish as well. It's hard for me to try to change my sauce once I find one I like. I always get the soy garlic sauce. The staff packed it with the sauce on the side, so it doesn't get drenched which is great. The honey pancake was delicious. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it is a perfect way to end the meal. I would recommend the soy garlic sauce. If you want something sweet, get an order of the honey pancakes. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Visited K-Coop my last night in Chicago with coworkers and we were all very impressed. We arrived just before 8:30pm on a Sunday and it was pretty empty. They set the mood with K-Pop jams the whole evening and two tvs dedicated to music videos. If K-Pop isn't your jam then definitely bring some headphones or earplugs. Lol For food, I got the tenders tossed in their spicy KBBQ sauce. Had just the right amount of spice to it and I paired that with their creamy peppers sauce. That wasn't spicy at all and complemented the kbbq sauce well. My friends each got different versions of their fried chicken and both really enjoyed their meals. Along with the entrees, I got a side of curly fries and we split a pitcher of Revolution Anti-hero which was 40% off for Sunday. All in all, I definitely plan on coming back to try different versions of their sauces and recommend others to check it out

Eva L.

Yelp
Ordered from here twice and fallen in love with it! The sweet onion fried chicken is the bomb. I was amazed that they were able to keep fresh and juicy after 45 mins on the road. Will definitely order from here again.

Khadijah H.

Yelp
Saw this place on Yelp as I was in the neighborhood one Saturday evening. We pulled up closed to closing time but they graciously allowed us to order. The staff was kind. What we thought to be a fast food order and go turned out to be a full restaurant. Decked out in your favorite Disney, anime and super hero's, the ambiance and vibe gives chill/ come as you are. I ordered a 10 piece wing meal in the flavor spicy k bbq. In about 15 minutes our order was ready and we chose to eat in the car to be respectful of their close time. Chileeeeeee them wings were so darn crispy, juicy, flavorable all through out, made me wanna jump up and down 10 times in the air. K-Coop really did something here with the wings. I wish I had a photo but the size of each party wing was perfect; not to big or too small. I'll definitely be returning for sure as this was a good investment in my funds.

Kelly L.

Yelp
Love love their calamari and is a must have everytime I come with anyone. The breading is the best with the lemon and their sauce. It's very light and perfectly bouncy and not chewy. Next favorite thing would be the sweet onion chicken! The combo is really nice and the sauce paired with the onion isn't overbearing. The green onion chicken can definitely be more oniony spicy to those who dont like the rawness of onions, but their chicken sauce flavors go well with it! The drinks were good and fun with the glitter and the popsicles. Each drink varied in how strong they came off in alcohol taste depending with the different mixers they came with, but truly really pretty :) Service is nice and convenient with the buttons they offer at each table!!

Jessy K.

Yelp
Korean fried chicken is my favorite! They have some of my favorite types here: the sweet onion chicken, the green onion chicken, and the chee-ken. The chicken was perfectly crisp and the sauces and toppings were flavorful. I have to come back and try the sweet onion chicken next! The service was quick and friendly, and the servers dont come and constantly ask you about the food which I really appreciate. Whenever you need to get their attention, you ring a bell on the table and they come right away. So much more preferred for me! The inside was nicely themed and I loved the vibes.

Gerry G.

Yelp
Fantastic Korean chicken by CM chicken defectors. Tried the half and half chicken so that I could try one sauce on each. The spicy major was about as spicy as I would want and amazing. Soy honey chicken was mild and delicious as well.

shin l.

Yelp
We ordered delivery so cannot comment on service or ambiance. The chicken wings were crunchy and juicy. I ordered a side of soy honey to go with it. My son enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. We will definitely order from here again.

Kesha B.

Yelp
The best KFC - Korean Fried Chicken in the North Shore! K-Coop is our family go to when we are craving chicken now a days! They offer a variety of styles from having it sauces, or plain with dipping sauce. My favorite sauces for the chicken are the rookie which tasted like a sweet chili sauce and has a light kick, and the honey soy which hits the sweeter side of the savory chicken. But my all time go to, is the truffle sauce with their fries! The fries come out fresh, and dipping it into the truffle sauce is out of this world! The K-Coop staff is always extremely friendly and patient when we are deciding what to order. They also make tons of great recommendations on sauces to try! Already can't wait to go back for more!

Jonathan P.

Yelp
We popped in for a late lunch on a weekend and are happy we did. 2 of us split a 10 piece tenders with spicy korean bbq sauce and curly fries. The chicken was crispy and fresh and this sauce was awesome! Subtle spicy with some sweetness to balance it out. We could not stop taking bites once it landed on the table. Super friendly staff, quick service and very reasonably priced. We live in the city but will definitely hope to be back! We

Darcy F.

Yelp
We love this local treasure. Although a bit loud and over stimulating at times, the delicious food & smart ordering system makes up for the volume & many televisions. My five year old is now a KPOP fan. we appreciate this business & spread the word to all our parent & non parent friends

Juice M.

Yelp
Chicken wings were hot and very tasty! Appetizers (cheese balls, dumplings) Super good! Service was great! Food came out fast! Def going back. Gonna try the other items next time!

Jhordin A.

Yelp
Yummy and unique spot! I have never tried Korean chicken before. I was lucky enough to win a giveaway on their instagram page and got to try out a ton of food. My favorite thing is all the sauce options. Next time I visit I think I'd try one of the pre flavored chickens, the ones we got were delicious but I felt I could have enjoyed more flavor! We got the sweet potato fries and onion rings too. It came with a ton. The fries were so thin and crispy so good! You order by pressing a button and the server will come to your table. Kind service, food was fresh. We went on a Friday night and it was very loud in there but they have a nice little dining area. I enjoyed my time here!

Sarah A.

Yelp
We've eaten here several times and the food is good. Chicken sandwiches and fries are our usual choices. Crispy hot chicken, crispy hot fries. After our experience today, I felt compelled to review only because the service needs work. A server brought out the fries, thinking they were an "appetizer" but at least took them back when we said we wanted them with our sandwich. Brought the wrong sauce. Didn't return during our meal to ask how everything was...they were not busy. Perhaps some staff was new, but the basics were missed. I'm writing this mainly to bring these matters to the attention to management. Bottom line, food worth it, but expect annoyance with potentially lame service.

Shemin L.

Yelp
great korean chicken and great staff:) i like how there's buttons on the table to get the servers attention which is so helpful. their snow onion chicken is my favorite with their creamy truffle sauce or their creamy garlic sauce. All the appetizers are really good. I have yet to try their cocktails but they do look like it would taste good. Interior is very nice I like the lights and there's also tvs that play music videos/games which is nice if you don't want to miss watching a game while eating

Zoe H.

Yelp
Great Korean style chicken. My whole family loves it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great quality chicken and good portions. Drinks were delicious as well, strawberry lemonade and peach lemonade. K-coop's chicken is so good! It's better than most chicken places even in Seoul, Korea. We had the spring onion chicken and jumbo shrimp! Great tasting food and high quality. Chicken strips in several different styles and many sauces to choose from! The burgers are very tasty as well! Definitely recommend anyone who haven't tried yet as a must! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back again.

Merna G.

Yelp
Delicious food. Great customer service. Clean environment. Love it, I would definitely come again!!

Rohan D.

Yelp
Best in the category of Korean fast food. Somehow this is supposed to be Korean Chicago chicken, but it is definitely good. It's a trend right our of Seoul, delicious fried chicken served up with some really odd sauces and...cheese? I avoided that. Although this tastes so good with white rice, they feature some pretty good French fries. I'm probably never going to try most of the crazy combinations, the place is often packed and everyone is enjoying themselves. K-Pop videos are on the screens, and K-Pop music is the soundtrack to your dining (you have to ask for chopsticks). What I recommend for my fellow Asian-American Boomers is the Griddle Chicken, it's almost a Hawai'ian local plate lunch (smaller, without the mayo mac salad, and this has a unique taste). The staff seems to be all Korean-American, they are really quick and efficient - you don't have to wait for them to notice you, each table has an electronic button to summon them. It's going to take me a while to work my way through the sauce choices, but I haven't had one yet that isn't very tasty and yet the chicken needs no sauce it is so good. Although I recommend this place to anyone, you'll especially enjoy yourself if, like me, you're into South Korean television and movies.

Stacey W.

Yelp
Too bad I didn't take any pictures of the food on my recent visit. We came in for dinner and the place was decently full. We ordered an order of cheese balls, calamari and a whole snow chicken. The cheese balls and calamari quite disappointed in them. We have eaten both of these items here before and were happily satisfied with them. This time both seemed way over fried and the calamari was tiny, tiny rings and no tentacles. It seemed as if they had fried freeze dried calamari rings. That's how dry they were. The cheese balls too were also quite over fried, the outside was too hard. Wish I had taken a picture of both as there was a noticeable difference as I look at the old pictures of those two dishes.

Jacob J.

Yelp
Fast food, Korean fried chicken and snacks. The restaurant setup is great for those seeking a fun, playful setting. Great for families or the bar crowd. If you didn't know this already or see similarities between theirs vs another nearby competitors. The two were once the same company. It's obvious in marketing, packing, etc. Choong man / CM. Menu options differ slightly and it's worth checking both if you enjoy K fried chicken. Between the two, I liked this one most. That was until recently when CM made some menu tweaks. Now I'm back to lovin' CM more! It's a see-saw, I go back and forth. Since foods are fried it's best to enjoy when it is piping hot. Chicken, onion rings, so many good good, yum yum items to enjoy. Though I haven't tried everything. Most visits are simply for chicken with differing sauces, a side and kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi).

Liza H.

Yelp
Yummy crunchy goodness. Hubby and I are huge fans of korean friend chicken. His favorite was Bonchon, mine was Choong Man Chicken. Well no more, this is our new favorite place. Their sauces are phenomenal, onion and garlic are to die for but beware of stinky breath after. Creamy truffle aioli and k-bbq are also fantastic. We got regular wings and strips. Both crunchy, fresh and juice. Wait a bit before eating like others reviews say because you will be fire dragon breathing from your burnt mouth. I clearly did not listen to everyone else. Will be back soon to try the dipped chicken and their soju drink with an ice cream in it

Brandon C.

Yelp
I've been here one time dine-in little bit after they had opened up. And then recently got a delivery order. I think from the first visit to this recent order, it has improved a lot. It's really cool inside, you get a mix of sports bar, Korean food, hang out spot. They do have solid options for beer and specials. Need to come back again with a group. Service from what I remember was good. Nothing crazy or poor. They have that electronic bell to call the waiter over which is typical at Korean spots. Besides that everything was fine Chicken wings I remember getting the sweet onion chicken and one of the spicy ones I believe the spicy major. However this recent order I did the spicy Korean bbq wings and the soy honey for gizzard. The sweet onion is good but you must eat it first because it gets cold from the cold onions and sauce. We did not know this since it was the first time ordering it but it was good. The spicy Korean bbq was very tangy and not that spicy for me. It had a slight kick but it was very good and the chicken was tender. The gizzard was nice and chewy but that soy honey was a perfect match I also had like a mango soft serve there. I don't know if they still have it but it was good but I know they have these popsicle cocktails. Overall solid option. They definitely beat Bonchon imo and they are rivaling Choongman. My only feedback is I wish they would put a small description for each sauce since it tends be a little confusing what the flavor is like.

Yelp
Quite delicious! They have a lunch special Tues-Fri wings or tenders, fries and a "honey pancake." I got the garlic ranch and Korean BBQ. But one sauce is more than enough. The Korean BBQ is REALLY sweet and thin. It's not bad but next time I'll stick to the garlic ranch. The breading on the tenders is very satisfyingly crunchy without being heavy. Same can be said for the fries. The atmosphere is nicer inside than I expected from the outside. I particularly like that each table has a doorbell for you to call your waiter when ready or in need, rather than them hovering or being unavailable when needed. I came on a Sunday afternoon. It was empty for the most part, but not quiet...they've got up eat KPop playing and sports on the big screen. This is really like the Korean version of Buffalo Wild Wings and I'm here for it!

Yelp
The place needs to be experienced ! However the novelty wears thin as far as healthy choices.

Yelp
Came on whim and was pleasantly surprised. I like the sit down bell so you only get service when you want and ready. I went at lunch and special is really good. Love all sauces and the little fried pancake thing, very sweet.

Yelp
What is Korean Fried Chicken? It's good! More specifically Korean fried chicken is fried chicken with kimchi onions and sauce. The chicken here is juicy and tender and the breading is crispy and light. The calamari is also pretty good even tho I miss traditional marinara sauce. This is a great place to bring a family or a friend and split a fried chicken, prices are a little steep for a solo meal but that didn't stop me, great place for sharing and take out is a great option. Everyone should give this place a try if they are in the neighborhood.

Yelp
My daughter tagged along while I attended an Elite event. She ordered a chicken sandwich with creamy garlic sauce and a side of fries. She enjoyed both her sandwich and fries. The chicken was crispy and juicy. There was too much sauce for her liking, but she still enjoyed her sandwich. The fries had a nice seasoning and was also crispy. I was able to sample a variety of their chicken and sides of sauces. Again, juicy and crispy. I can't remember exactly which flavors I sampled, but all of them were great! I also really enjoyed their fries. K-Coop is a full-service sit down restaurant which surprised us. Each table has a little garbage can to dispose of your bones, a napkin dispenser, and a whole pitcher of water. We will definitely be back since it's less than 15 min from our house. There is ample parking in it's parking lot.

Yelp
Good is good but when I got there 30 mins before closing, the staff said they stop seating. There's no mention of that in their website

Yelp
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the coop. Service was very prompt and friendly. I liked that whenever you were ready, they have an "assistance button" at the table. Convenient and new age-we likey! The food was great and relatively affordable. My first time trying a Korean corn dog and it actually exceeded my expectations and my taste buds were not disappointed. Their pitchers of Korean beer are extremely generous. I was mind blown that i wasn't overly full from the beer towards the end. I learned because korean beer is a lot lighter than to that of Dos Equis, let's say. Kudos ! Chicken was great. Got an traditional wing with spicy soy sauce flavor. TASTY. We were suicidal in the fact we were craving their hottest flavor for boneless. SUPER SPICY THEY DO NOT PLAY! We were very happy at the amount of food we got for a decent price. I'm starting to see 25% as a suggested tip on receipts. GULP!
