Family-run West Side spot serving tender beef bulgogi, spicy pork, and jumbo Korean fried chicken. Spotlighted by the Albuquerque Journal for bold flavors and house-made kimchi, it’s a friendly, neighborhood anchor for hearty Korean plates.

This restaurant smelled so good the moment we walked in ! We saw another tables food come out with giant pieces of fried chicken wings that immediately caught our interest. We ordered two 6 piece wing plates (yangyum and soy garlic sauce) and a plate of their spicy Bulgogi plate which both came out so delicious and fresh !! We are excited to return and try new items :) We had a great experience for our first time trying Korean style food and the price was very reasonable.

Google
Placed an order to go over the phone 30 minutes prior and when I got to the small dining room area was not cool super humid and sweaty.. Strike one. Strike two is when the food quality. Placed a Chicken fried rice to go and the rice was burnt not cool. The beef plate was great tasting but they skimped on the white rice. I hate tipping for orders to go and this is the reason poor quality food. Burnt fried rice and no white rice on the other entree…

Google
This Korean restaurant did serve some delicious bulgogi, however, the chicken fried rice was disappointing due to them using frozen mixed vegetables. The portions were generous; unfortunately, the customer service not so much. Once we were served, no one checked up on us for drink refills, take our empty plates, or even ask how our food was. I had to get up from our table and ask for the following things: first time was to ask for Sweet'n Low, second time for extra napkins, third and last time for takeout containers.

I came to K Style Kitchen for their $10 lunch special after calling ahead to confirm before placing my order. Over the phone, I asked what was on special and was told “everything,” just smaller portions. I ordered the spicy chicken plate and two orders of egg rolls. When I arrived (08/07/25 at 1:25 PM), I was told the spicy chicken is not on special. On top of that, the lunch special includes an egg roll, but I was still charged for the egg rolls I ordered. This should have been clarified over the phone — especially since I drove 30 minutes just for K Style. Food good ! Service TERRIBLE Instead, I ended up paying much more than advertised and still had to wait for my order to be made. A simple correction could have fixed the situation. Communication is key — if you’re answering the phone and taking orders, you should be able to clearly communicate menu details. Very frustrating experience.

Google
Ordered the beef bibimbap and the chicken fried rice. The bibimbap was delicious comfort food, with well marinated beef and traditionally prepped veggies that you can douse in as much gochujang sauce as you’d like. The fried rice was okay, personally I would’ve liked a more savory version with drier rice. Seating is pretty limited, takeout on a weekend night was about a 30 minute wait. I would come back at a less busy time for sure to try more items on the menu!

Google
Very delighted to have found this place. The food was delicious. The fried chicken was very tasty and tasted fresh. We also ordered the fried chicken rice and noddles and we absolutely liked it all. We will definitely be back.

Google
K Style Kitchen has some of the best Korean food in the ABQ metro but definitely has the BEST Korean style fried chicken in NM. I. Fact it’s some of the best I’ve had in the U.S. always perfectly crispy and hot, juicy, and the sauces are great. The service here is awesome and quick, only thing is I wish they had a bigger restaurant for more seating! Highly recommend

Google
I have been to this restaurant several times. I have eaten in the restaurant and have also gotten take out. Every time I have been to this restaurant, the food has been amazing. I am a huge fan of the bulgogi meal and sandwich, as well as the fried chicken sandwich. The customer service is excellent. All of the persons I have had the pleasure of communicating with have been so kind and nice. Anyone out there looking for great Korean food. Please try this restaurant.

Yelp
This is the best meal that I have had in a long time! I love Korean Food! I am so pleased and excited that I have a "go-to" for Korean! My former employer told me about K Style Kitchen. She and I have similar tastes. Partner and I got takeout immediately following her recommendation. The Spicy Chicken was amazing! It walks the line of very spicy but not too hot. The beef in the Bi Bim Bop is grilled to perfection! Rice is perfectly cooked. K Style Kitchen is the best meal that I've had thrice! I can't recommend K Style enough! Go to K Style Kitchen.

Yelp
Yum! I ordered delivery, and it arrived quickly and arranged neatly. My tofu bibimbap was so flavorful and fresh, just perfect. The egg rolls were delicious, crunchy and just the right size. The Tteokbokki was perfectly spiced; I was craving gochujang. Looking forward to ordering from K Style Kitchen again!

Yelp
Great, authentic Korean food in a friendly, relaxed environment. Their bip bim bop is amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
K Style Kitchen is in no way fancy or pretentious. Good food and very nice service at reasonable prices in a small strip mall storefront. $10 lunch specials were cooked to order and served up with a couple of house-made pickle (radish and spinach) lagniappes. The "spicy" bulgogi was not especially piquant to my taste (non NM folks might disagree) but was quite deliciously flavored, with a subtle sweetness underlying the garlicky heat. Not an overwhelming amount of food on the plate, but it was enough, and we were happy to linger undisturbed talking after we finished (with our server occasionally and graciously checking on us to see whether we might want more water or whatever). I confess the first thing I noticed on entry was an almost overpowering stench of cruciferous vegetables - while we're all for house-fermented side dishes, management might want to consider giving some thought to ventilation so as to not drive off folks with keen senses of smell and occidental sensibilities regarding which smells are appetizing. If any of those sensitive folks are reading, it's worth toughing it out - K Style Kitchen will send you on your way quite happy.

Yelp
A random find tonight. We got there in time as 2 couples, a party of 7 and then a party of 10 walked in. It's a small place. The two ladies working the front were very welcoming and friendly. They got really busy but still remained attentive as best as they could. We ordered the following: Kid's Chicken tenders & fries - chicken pieces were decently portioned. 7 yr old kid wished there was more fries. The fries were very good and crispy. We all liked it. Tteokbokki Was pretty good. Very very saucy and wish there was more meat and rice cake in it. We did request a side of rice to add onto and it was even better & filling. Soy Garlic wings was good. $16 for 10 wings and did the other half in Spicky 2k flavor. Wings were very crispy as we were hoping they would be. Only complaint is that there could've been more soy Garlic sauce as it was a bit dry as seen in the pictures. Spicy 2k wings was saucy, though, and it truly is spicy with a kick. Just beware. Jepchae - it didn't have enough bulgogi flavor with it and could use more meat in it. Still would recommend. Overall would return to this place. Glad to have found this place and looking forward to trying their other dishes. Spicy K2 & Soy Garlic chicken wings

Yelp
I like that K Style is a no frills restaurant. However, I think I ordered the wrong thing..and, therefore, that was reflected in my rating. In the future, I hope to increase the number of stars in my review to reflect such positive, raving reviews that others had about this place. I ordered tteokbokki (Korean spicy rice cake). Honestly I think the dish was passable. I felt the dish was not only very spicy..but the rice noodles were just swimming/soaking in a pool of spicy sauce. I wished the dish had more flavors than just pure spicy sauce...and even a lil bit of vegetables..other than onions. But, oh well, if I stopped by next time I would probably try bibimbap, bugolgi or just something less adventurous! Otherwise, it's a pretty chill, casual place to grab a meal if you are in the area.

Yelp
We really like this place! We have visited several times now. The bibimbap, fried chicken, and japchae are all excellent. Highly recommended!

Yelp
First let me point out that this place does not offer the free banchan (pickled snacks) some traditional Korean places offer... BUT they do sell multiple kimchi's, appetizers, etc. Also, I'll be honest, Albuquerque doesn't have much of a Korean food scene. That said, KStyle was DELICIOUS, plates were pretty, and service was friendly and great. And price for what you get was solid. I'll be back many times over. I ordered the cucumber kimchi, mandu (fried dumplings) and bulgogi plate (tender marinated beef with a side of rice and veggies). I also ordered some spicy yangyum sauce to dip my veggies in. All was excellent

Van B.

Yelp
I have never eaten kimchi this bad, I think they keep it for so long instead of making a new one, it's so sour, so bad

Yelp
It's been awhile since we've had Korean Food. But that's the decision today. So we decide to stop here. It's a really small place - 8 - 2 person tables. As luck would have it we got the last one. Small menu, easy to order from. Plus there's a large menu on the wall, complete With pics. Ordered the lunch special. Beef Bulgogi plate for me and the Chicken Fried Rice for my wife. While we were waiting we received a small bowl of kimchee - nice smooth, not overly spicy. Our lunches arrived, the Chicken Fried Rice was loaded with tender chicken, cabbage, egg, & green onions. You could taste the soy - not overwhelming but adding to the taste. The Bulgogi, ordered spicy came a bowl of rice with delicious thin sliced meat. It was tender and moist. Service was excellent, making sure we weren't missing anything. Great meal - sorry we waited so long to stop.

Yelp
First time here and it was fantastic It is a small place. I don't recommend for large groups but definitely worth picking up food to go. Our group was small and we shared a few dishes. Loved everything. Highly recommend

Yelp
5 stars!!! We were greeted warmly and seated right away. The staff are so on top of things as well as being kind and friendly. We ordered several dishes to try and they were all outstanding!! Fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned. We left there stuffed and oh so happy. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Moving from LA I miss Korean BBQ. The sweet, savory, charged component of their amazing cuisine. After months of looking, I found this spot and I feel in love. Yes, this is not a Korean BBQ joint but when I say this is the best Korean food in Albuquerque, I truly stand by it. Their Bulgogi sandwich is top their quality. Meat is perfectly cooked as well as seasoned, with the addition of cucumbers, and veggies on a soft roll. I've also had their Japchae and it did not disappoint. Their foods are seasoned perfectly, balanced well with veggies. and so flavorful. This place is a must try.

Yelp
Baby, you can find me under the lights... Diamonds under my eyes Turn the rhythm up, don't you wanna just... Come along for the ride? Ooh, my outfit so tight.. You can see my heartbeat tonight I can take the heat, baby, best believe That's the moment I shine... Shine we did, dining for lunch... K Style Kitchen...we shared. a large bowl of... "Japchae" of Glass Noodles w. stir fried Beef Bulgogoi and Mixed Vegetables, w. a side of Housemade Kimchi (Napa Cabbage tangy good and Cucumber sample sweet and juicy) This dish rang every sense bud to a perfect harmony. It was simply deli-shishhhh..:) Washed down w. Jasmine Ice Tea. A wonderful new local culinary haven. One recommendation to their staff, get a semblance of uniform clothing. It must of have been casual dress Friday..:) Watch me dance, dance the night away My heart could be burnin', but you won't see it on my face... Watch me dance, dance the night away (uh-huh) I'll still keep the party runnin', not one hair out of place... Best, Avram DooA LipA Jr.

Yelp
It was really good and the service was very helpful. I would totally go again but try something else. The food was delicious.

Happy K.

Yelp
Lunch special was a great bargain at $10. Pretty tasty, but I'd like to try the bulgogi. I wanted more sauce with my teriyaki. But it was at least a halfway nutritious balanced lunch with real food at a reasonable price. Where can you find that nowadays? Service is good, ambiance is typical for the location, which is a strip mall.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Very clean and simple restaurant with yummy food with fair prices. What more can you ask for? The service was also exceptionally thoughtful. Give this place a try for a Korean craving.

Yelp
Love that its on the Westside and not too far from our house. Grilled chicken with rice and vegetables is my fav!
google avatar

Lee Ann R.

Yelp
I'm so happy to have a Korean restaurant on the west side of town! I had a delicious beef bulgogi bowl (one of their lunch specials) a couple of days ago and was delighted with its deliciousness. The bulgogi and some lovely veggies topped perfectly cooked rice, and the three kinds of pickles - spicy cucumber, sweet/salty radish, and cabbage kimchi - complemented the bulgogi bowl as well as being tasty on their own. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their wings as well as their other options.

Yelp
This review is a little late as it's from a visit from a few months ago as I visit NM often from AZ since my girlfriend lives here. My girlfriend and I love Korean food. So anytime a Korean spot pops up we want to try it out, especially in the Albuquerque area. My girlfriend has been here before and wanted to show me another spot she found in the burqe. She was saying the kimchi is really good here. My first impression is that this place is mainly a takeout spot due to the very limited seating they have, even though there was a party 6 eating there when we got there. We ordered to go and got the beef stir fried noodles, chicken tenders, and cucumber kimchi. Do not expect any type of home cooked feel to the food. When I ate the noodles, I literally thought to myself that this is something I can make from packaged noodles from the Asian market. My girlfriend liked her chicken tenders, but she likes everything. I will say the kimchi cucumbers didn't disappoint and were good. When it comes to customer service, it was great. The man who was taking care of the party who was eating inside was super nice and treated us just as nice. The name of the restaurant does fit with the theme of the food, K Style... this is your quick in and quick out if you want a taste of something Korean, but don't expect to be wow'd and do not use this as a bar of what Korean food should be.
google avatar

Kirstin B.

Yelp
New Korean restaurant off of Coors and Montano! I got the spicy bulgogi platter (no rice). The spicy is the way to go! It's not overly hot, but it does have awesome flavor! (Someone else at my table got the regular bulgogi- trust us- go spicy!). Another in our group got the spicy chicken platter and enjoyed that as well. Egg rolls are a thumbs up! This is definitely a small group (4 people max) in person seating or take out place. Easy location for a quick pick up on the way home! I definitely have my eye on the fried chicken for next time!
google avatar

Heidi A.

Yelp
The service was wonderful, both ladies were very nice. The food was okay. I was expecting a little drier fried rice, this one seemed pretty wet. I'd go again if someone wanted to go there, but it's such a small space and the food was just okay. My Korean friend also said it was just okay.
google avatar

Lorelei P.

Yelp
I have dined here twice already and I like it here. The food and customer service is good as well. I had heard about this place from a friend that recommended it. She said she saw it on a TikTok video. I definitely had to find this place. As my family and I are always looking for places to dine at with a different flair other than hamburgers and pizza. This definitely is a good one! The first time my family & I came here, we had the tofu bibimbap, beef bulgogi sandwich and beef bibimbap. We also tried the soy garlic chicken wings... Oh yeah, that was palate pleasing. Definitely a must try on those wings! The beef bulgogi sandwich was really flavorful, but we all got to try each of these dishes. If I lived closer, I'd dine here more often. But for now, it's definitely a treat when I do make my way out here.
google avatar

Connie M.

Yelp
First time trying this place out as I was craving some Korean food after coming back from Seoul. I was a bit disappointed as the portion sizes were on the smaller side, especially the bibimbap despite ordering a large. The flavors were okay. I did enjoy the Napa kimchi but I had to purchase that for more than $5 for a small bowl. I was spoiled in Korea where Kim chi was unlimited and free. Service was good.
google avatar

Rok J.

Yelp
Most recent visit to K Style Kitchen garners the same rave comments from my initial visit. Food is strong on the flavor front & portions are generous. Prices totally reasonable, considering the quality & quantity of the food. Super friendly owner is still super friendly. A real gem of international eating on the westside.
google avatar

Myria M.

Yelp
We've been here twice so far and both dishes were soooo good! Excellent spicy food but non-spicy and vegetarian options available. Plus they're so sweet. Family owned and operated.
google avatar

Raquel H.

Yelp
Great food and great service. We shared several dishes including the mandu, cabbage kimchi, bulgolgi lunch special, japchae and wings with Yangyum sauce. Everything was delicious and I would recommend all of it. The staff was helpful and very friendly. We will definitely return.
google avatar

Yelp
Family-owned, Friendly, and with the utmost attention to detail, the restaurant serves fantastic food, and there are multiple items on the menu! You can go right with any item there, as it is served in traditional style Koren. I have had Korean food in Korean communities throughout the US. It's in a small location. You can also take advantage of this as a take-out order.

Jade L.

Yelp
Small hole in the wall place, food was good! I got the beef bulgogi plate and my mom got the bibimbap with chicken. Hers lacked a little bit of flavor but still good. The beef bulgogi was 10/10 ! They had a special for the bulgogi plate for only 10$ :) overall good spot to try.
google avatar

Haley A.

Yelp
Ok, Im going to give you all the positives first before I get into why I only gave this place three stars. First, very cozy restaurant that is clearly family owned and operated. The front of the house staff had a smile and were very kind. The cucumber kimchi also had an awesome flavor full of gochujang and a hint of spice which I would get again! And here's why its only three stars, despite the food tasting very good, the food was quite expensive. I ordered mandu (potstickers) which come in three and paid $4 for them. Thats over $1 a potsticker. I understand the rise in food cost, but there was nothing special about it that was worth over a dollar a potsticker. The boneless fried chicken (3 piece) was $10 which is also on the high side for three strips of chicken. I would like to see them do smaller pieces of boneless twice fried chicken instead of half a chicken breast. I was also missing the *cronch* of a twice fried chikky piece that Im used to from South Korea. Solid three stars. Will go back to get a gauge on their Bulolgi though.
google avatar

James J.

Yelp
Wonderful service in an inviting intimate atmosphere. This Korean food was very authentic and insanely affordable. Previous reviews saying it was "expensive" are purely inaccurate. The server was joyful and appreciative, making us feel familiar and at home. I hope everyone gives this place a chance and a reason to expand to a larger space! Can't wait to go back.

Taylor R.

Yelp
Love the bulgogi and cucumbers! Chicken wings have a sauce that is super spicy but overall the food was delicious

Yelp
What a difference a review (can) make. "I read your review, I appreciated your honesty, and it made me think, 'You know, he's right, it's not the same kimchi we make at home,' so we made it better. At least we think so, anyway." This is what Kyong's hubby told me as soon as I walked in the door the other day. I wanted to give the soy garlic wangs a go, and since he made an effort to update the kimchi, I decided to give that a shot, as well. Great bordering on excellent, both of 'em. As noted previously, the chicken cooked up in this kitchen is high quality and carefully prepared, and now the kimchi's legit, to boot. When business owners pay attention to their reviews and care enough to try harder, they absolutely earn my respect. This little Korean gem of an eatery is the real deal: scratch-made food, friendly service and a family run structure that cares about their customers. Again, I'm thrilled this place is in my backyard.
google avatar

Carlos O.

Yelp
Great customer service, quality food and ingredients! Loved the grilled chicken and rice dish, everything is made fresh on site and you can taste the difference. Highly recommend coming in and giving this place a try, you won't regret it!

Yelp
Stopped by KSK on our road trip through NM. It just recently opened. We met one of the owners who was nice, and let us know it's family owned and recipes are a mixture of family recipes along with their chefs :) We called in the order for pick-up and took about ~15 mins, but that includes us adding things once we got there. The inside is a decent size with seating inside if you want to eat it there and everything (including the bathroom lol) was clean. As usual we got a little bit of everything. - Spicy beef bulgogi was EXCELLENT. It was more on the mild side of spicy for me, but definitely seasoned. Came with mixed vegetables with cabbage, broccoli, and steamed carrots on the side which I've never had with bulgogi but it was good, and the rice was cooked well. The portion size was good for the price. - Dumplings. Had the right amount of feeling. Came with 3 for $4. - Cabbage kimchi. I wish the menu had said it was fresh kimchi. I'm more of a elderly stinky fermented kimchi girl. I like the aged kimchi, but for fresh it was good if you like fresh kimchi. Hubs had the chicken fried rice and beef bibimbap. I'm not a fan of bibimbap even though it's just a rice bowel, but it was okay. The chicken fried rice was good as well, maybe needs a smidge more seasoning. I would recommend if you're in the area or passing by to give them a try!

Athena N.

Yelp
Placed an order a couple of days ago and in the notes I wrote. Make it extra spicy, I want to die. They did not disappoint. 10/10 would recommend!
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
We went for lunch and shared the 6 piece jumbo wings and a regular beef bibimbap. Everything was very tasty and the staff were friendly. We're already planning to go back to try the jap chae. I wish they had pajeon or hotteok but the items on the menu we had were excellent. The restaurant is small, but clean and bright.
google avatar

Gwen G.

Yelp
I am OBSESSED with Korean food and was overjoyed to find K Style Kitchen. I ordered Beef Bulgogi, with stir fried veggies and white rice. Very good. I had Japchae, a divine dish made with Sweet Potato Noodles that are clear, with the same Beef Bulgogi meat and it certainly hit the spot. The secret ingredient is the fermented bell-pepper-paste called "Gochujqng" which is spicy hot with a slow burn. And last, the fried chicken wings smothered in Gochujqng, which I can't get enough of. There are delightful pickled sides: Kimchee, radish, cucumber... I love them all. I'm only 10 mins away so now I will be there weekly! Thank you, K, for your lovely takeout joint!!
google avatar

Tyrone W.

Yelp
First time here and it was very good and worth the wait. Friendly staff and clean establishment. Bigger size drinks would be a plus.
google avatar

Rebecca F.

Yelp
Of all the delicious items on the menu, I'd get the soy garlic wings over and over again. They're also the biggest wings I've ever seen, so definitely worth the price. The spicy chicken with rice cakes was the most disappointing since it only comes with 4 rice cakes, so that dish wasn't as worth it. We might've gone on an off day, and their AC wasn't on. Eating spicy Korean food in 100 degree weather was not the greatest experience, but the quality of the wings and friendliness of the owner made it more enjoyable.
google avatar

Tabitha Sarai B.

Yelp
Tonight was my first time eating at K style Kitchen, and the food was amazing. The owner's sister was very friendly, and she helped me with one of my twin babies. We don't live in Albuquerque, but my husband and I will stop by when we visit.
google avatar

Claire B.

Yelp
So good! We tried K Style for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint! We got the bulgogi plate, the chicken bibimbap, and an order of chicken wings and every bit of it was delicious. Our pick up order was ready right on time and the quality seemed really high. So glad to have this restaurant in the neighborhood, we will be back!

Lydia C.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late lunch and ordered a taro drink, fries, and japchae. Good food and good service. Will be coming back.
google avatar

Paula M.

Yelp
Great environment! Food was great as was the service. Hope they stay around! Love that they share their faith openly in their business.
google avatar

Yelp
We found this restaurant online. It was a bit far to get to but boy was it worth it. The food was hit, tasty and outstanding. The people that worked their were super friendly, very informative and helpful. They recommended some different options that were better then what we were going to get. We will be back
google avatar

Olivia B.

Yelp
Very flavorful and spicy! I got the japchae and tteokbokki and it was delicious. Tasted authentic. The inside was small and maybe seats 10-15 people. I ordered my food as pickup and it was ready and hot when I arrived.

Eric W.

Yelp
Nice change of pace from the usual Asian restaurant. Very nice and helpful Staff with great food.

Val B.

Yelp
This cozy kitchen serves an awesome bulgogi plate and delicious cucumber kimchi. You have to eat here!
