Kababish is known for their huge chicken kebab roll, with a tender chunk of meat, lettuce, and onions wrapped in a naan that eagerly soaks up all of the chicken’s juices. The exemplary roll sets a high bar, and the rest of their fresh, hot food easily meets it. Other favorites include velvety sutli kebab, crispy chicken 65 with a generous amount of green chilies, and flaky chicken patties. It’s not the cleanest restaurant in NYC but man, their food is top tier. I really love their butter chicken and I partner it with garlic naan. While waiting for my order, I usually get a cup of chai which only costs 1.50$ btw. I’ve tried their biryanis and they’re great too. But the butter chicken is on a another level. They’re open late so it’s perfect for munchies iykyk

I have a friend, Mr. Singh, who said he got kebabs from this place a while back, and apparently, his family got diarrhea from the kebabs. I was shocked—I couldn’t believe it. I mean, how can a whole family get diarrhea from kebabs? I’d never heard of such a thing. So, I suited up, kept my toilet ready, and went the following day to Kababish. I got kebabs for my whole family, and we all ate them. Guess what? Our stomachs were fine—no diarrhea, no stomach aches. In fact, I went to work the next day feeling perfectly fine. I have to say, these kebabs are tremendous and really the best in NYC. If you want kebabs, get them from this place. Also, Cobra Kai has been here before, which just proves my point about it being the best. And trust me, Cobra Kai has the worst stomach issues—he’s always in the bathroom in his movies! Overall the best in nyc

The place is super packed and busy most of the time, but compared to that the food is not up to the mark. I took beef shish kebab and kebab roll. Both of them felt like not fresh and the kebab roll was also cold. But their tea is the star of that place. I would highly recommend that.

The chicken kebobs and kebob rolls used to be so good. Over the past several years, the quality of the food has gone down substantially.

I have visited a number of times over the years and their prices seemed fair enough even though slightly overpriced compare to other places I have gone to either in the same hood or more expensive neighborhoods. Today was a totally different experience. I found the prices on their menu confusing and deceptive. Their food was way overpriced. When I questioned the server the response wasn't nice about it. I paid the full amount anyway. With that price I could have ate at a restaurant and pay less. They just lost another customer.

Ordered lamb and chicken shish kebab. They were both pre cooked and lightly grilled and hence not juicy at all. The spice level was a bit on the higher side. Come here if you want to eat cheap pre cooked food. Otherwise avoid.

What a terrible place to get food the from! Just for you information, these guys do not follow hygiene practices and they're overpriced. I ordered a qeema Naan and the guy came from outside and didn't care to wash his hands and proceeded with the qeema Naan when I asked him to wash hands only then he washed his hands. When he made the order, I went home there was literally no qeema inside the naan and they charge $8.00 for each Naan. And I'm someone who's been going there ever since this place came into existence. Will not go there ever again.
