Vegetarian Stuffed Grape Leaves Recipe: A Step-by-Step How-to | Eater

"A restaurant in Israel that focuses on Galilean cuisine and is co-owned by Habib and Minerva Daoud; their cooking and recipes served as the inspiration for the featured warak dawali (stuffed grape leaves) preparation." - Adam Sella

Palestinian Farmers in the West Bank Struggle to Keep a Vineyard Safe | Eater

"A Palestinian restaurant in Israel that emphasizes Galilean cuisine and the farming principle of baladi—small, closely tended plots that produce deeply flavored, seasonal fruit and vegetables. Owner-chef Habib Daoud sources from nearby Palestinian farms, citing a noticeable difference in taste between those products and many Israeli-grown items, and relies on tight local relationships and shared harvest traditions to preserve culinary quality." - Adam Sella

By far one of the best (if not the best!) restaurants in Israel we have been to. Second time we've eaten here and the food is absolutely amazing!!! Let's start with the beautiful location and surroundings, you can sit outside or inside and there's also a beautiful terrace overlooking the square. Then the restaurant itself is so welcoming and cosy, lovely atmosphere and excellent service by the owner and staff. To top all that - a wonderful, interesting and rich menu where anyone, including Vegetarians and Vegans (!) can find plenty to order. You can feel the love, care, talent and knowledge of their lovely chef/owner in every bite you eat. Cannot recommend enough! A must visit! Do not miss the Minerva cake, named after the chef! Wow!We shall definitely come back.

Celebrated an anniversary here and had a great time! The staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is good and the prices are very reasonable. The place is cozy, great view over the old city, close to everything.

The restaurant is located in the center of old Jaffa next to the zodiac fountain. The food is local and delicious. However, it could be noisy. That evening, there was a concert nearby. If you love that kind of atmosphere, this place is a great choice.

Very nice restaurant located near Jaffa port. Young and dedicated staff takes good care of you. Starters appeared quickly. Hummus with hot and fresh pita was very good. Izraeli style shrimps with a lot of garlic were well cooked and very tasty. Local vine sold on glasses was nice. Beer unfortunately industrial just Izraeli not local. Restaurant including toilets very clean. Prices considering Jaffa medium high.

Came in with a large group. The service seemed to struggle with being timely. On the positive side, the food is amazing. The Location is great. The vibe is cool. If you're not in a hurry, or willing to put up with a little slowness in the service, you will enjoy the meal immensely.

Favorite restaurant in TLV! Chef Minerva, her son and team have created a very welcoming, cozy and family like environment plus absolutely fresh and delicious food. I went there to celebrate my birthday as a group and then again alone and both times it was the best dining experience. On my second time I was lucky to have an outdoor concert playing right outside the restaurant. I highly recommend everything but my favorite dishes here are the Fattoush salad, Mahashe, Kibbeh bil Saniyeh and Labanieh and the eggplant on the grill. Can’t wait to be back!

Great location in Old Jaffa area in Tel Aviv. Family restaurant with traditional dishes. Hummus and fish with rice/potatoes are very good. Also highly recommend the eggplant and cauliflower as starters. Excellent choice for a casual dinner.
