A humble Pakistani/Indian-Mediterranean spot that moved from downtown years ago; Eater and Time Out have both highlighted it. Expect halal tikka, karahi, and pocket pitas near UNLV at wallet-friendly prices.

This spot is an open book. Straight forward atmosphere, service, and food. No frills, keep the price affordable, and quality options. Nothing more. I went twice this past week. Was offered free bottled water at each visit while I waited. First visit I got the $9.99 lamb gyro with fries and a can of soda. Extremely good value and the food was all really tasty! The gyro was absolutely fantastic to be honest. Second visit I got the chicken Tikka masala with naan. Extremely fresh (I waited over 20 minutes for them to prepare) hot naan and a zesty masala sauce that was a delight to my tastebuds! They even threw in a big serving of white rice with the $9.99 meal! Fine dining? No. But that isn't what they sell. They sell good homemade food for a price the guests can feel happy about. In this day, I appreciate getting my money's worth... and knowing it will taste great for a casual meal!

The food is really flavorful, got the veg biryani, it was kicking, with I think a mint/cilantro yogurt sauce. I had to force myself to stop eating, the portion was huge. Got handmade, stone oven garlic naan bread. And huge Greek salad. Very fresh, have enough left over from both for another meal. Other customers had food that smelled so good, marinated in the aromatic seasonings and super tender, yeah I asked. 😁 They also have the pots with dishes in it noticed at another table, who set up w. sauces ... Good for sharing and variety. Highly recommend. A hidden spot near UNLV. Nice decor, comfy chairs, pretty cultural artwork on the wall.

We came here for lunch before leaving Vegas, the place is very clean and has an authentic ambiance. The owner was so kind they gave us extra sodas on the house, he is a heartwarming man from karachi. Food was brought out quick and fresh authentic. If i come to Vegas again, this is the spot.

Kabob Korner is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Pakistani (South Asian) cuisine! I absolutely love their food, especially the Beef Bihari Kabob, Chicken Boti, and Chili Chicken—each dish is bursting with rich flavors and perfectly cooked to perfection. Their Mango Lassi is absolutely amazing—so refreshing and creamy, it’s the perfect complement to their flavorful dishes. A special shoutout to Chris, who is always so welcoming and ensures we have a great experience with his warm and friendly demeanor. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Pakistani food with a side of excellent hospitality!

Google
It was quick, fast and delicious! It’s a smaller place off the main strip so for out-of-towners looking for a quiet place with good food and good prices, this is it!

Google
Not awesome service, but passable. Seems they don't handle to go orders much. More of a sit down place. Sketchy area of town.. longer wait than expected for a gyro lunch. The man there seemed to be the only one there, serving and doing everything.. besides a cook?He had to go "next door" to get $9 in change from a $20. I ordeted the beef gyro and it was good..but meat was a bit crustier than expected. Will probably find another place closer to work that hopefully handles to go orders more frequently.

I ordered takeout in a rush to get home. The guy at the register was very nice and knew the menu well. I did not get his name. he helped me pick some delicious combo platters breads and salad. Everything was super fresh and delicious. I wasn't expecting this because the rating was low but the original restaurant I was trying for was closed. I'm glad I tried this place. I had my kid with me who was being very curious in the new place and hard to refocus. he helped me carry the takeout to my car. that was beyond expected. I didn't ask he offered. when you walk up, the outdoor signage makes it look like you are about to get mall food. I'm not expert in the specific quisine to know if the right spices were applied so if you are south Asian or mid eastern and looking for a specific taste from home I can't say weather this place will apply it...but I'm Midwestern from usa and I found it yummy. it was flavored well cooked well grilled to perfection, fresh and pretty and fast with a friendly staff.

Google
Unquestionably a five star restaurant—I adored everything about it! The restaurant has a really good, roomy, and attractive design. The young woman who assisted us was really kind and helpful. Excellent service; she made recommendations for us depending on our preferences. Everything we ate was so excellent that it was well worth the cost to sample. Will return!

Yelp
The food was amazing! The restaurant employees the weight staff all had a very relaxed vibe to them. The prices were very fair and for the portions I think it's a definite place to visit!

Yelp
My husband and I had just finished gym and the weather was great. It was raining and we craved chicken tikka. My husband knew just the right place for it :) I really liked the place, very cosy diner with good music. There was only one staff and he managed the place pretty well. I ordered the chicken tikka while my husband got the chilli chicken platter. Both the platters came with a side of rice, salad, pita bread and mint/ tamarind chutney! The presentation of the food was nice, but the taste was just fine although I expected a little more. The quantity of the chicken quarters were small too. I liked the taste of chicken tikka but on the other hand the chilli chicken didn't seem anything like chilli chicken!!! Salad was just basic and the rice was bland. Chutneys were really good though! Prices were pretty decent too. Overall it's good for a one time visit :)

Yelp
Food Amazing!! Service friendly. 100% halal. We are love this place. we will come back again.

Yelp
Had a long day at work and chose to ignore all the warning signs. No one was there to take my order, one of the guests had to yell towards the back that I was waiting. People were walking in from the street and hanging out behind the counter. I ordered beef tikka kabob, the server charged 17.99 and the screen said beef tikka kabob, then he took the menu from me to check and entered 19.99 instead and the screen said "custom item". Food was horrifyingly bad, I only tried to eat the one piece of meat and almost choked because it's like a dog toy. I don't have any reviews because I never thought I needed to review restaurants. If I can save just one person from eating here then I did a public service.

Yelp
Last couple time I was here service is ok food is ok this time worse they run out chicken and steak kabobs during day come on really I'm the only customer there my food come out tasted horhorrible I just told them and just walk away

Desiree S.

Yelp
My family and I went here due to the fast food spot nearby taking too long so we gave it a shot. I think it was the owner who was in the kitchen and took our order, mentioned the cook called off and honestly the wait was worth it. He was very sweet given the circumstances , and the tika misala was delicious, and the chicken gyro.

Yelp
I have to say this is a true hidden gem. If you're local there's a secret menu. The prices and specials are phenomenal. Service top notch and I have only single complaint. The tatziki sauce is trash the day I went. Honestly they shouldn't even call it that. Lol I'm not even sure what it was, it was just gross. Other than that absolutely check out this location.

Yelp
This restaurant is located near the Silver Suns where my husband and I stayed at. We decided on a Mediterranean late lunch before our big Sunday at EDC Las Vegas. We were the first people there around 1pm and it was hot inside. They didn't have lamb which is what we really wanted so opted for the chicken and beef kabob plates. The flavor of the meat and seasonings were good, I liked the way they cook/grill their chicken and it wasn't too dry. Rice was okay. The salad looked old and brown, upsetting because I always enjoy having salad before the actual meal. No lemons available for our water and they do not serve Coke only Pepsi. The girl server just said that she had been off for a few days so basically it's not her fault they were short on items. She was nice though. The place was not the cleanest but maybe they just had their lunch rush...I could see crumbs everywhere, Before we left the AC finally started to kick in. There is parking available right outside but I didn't like that there's a lot of hood people passing by in the front and drug deals going on in plain daylight. A twanker woman even came in to use the restroom and that's all, very gross, & no one was watching the front or maybe they just let her do her thing idk. I wouldn't come here again, nothing special and basically dirty. Overpriced for the quality.

Yelp
Just tried this place for the first time and will definitely be going back.., Service was great and the food was delicious! I ordered the Chicken Tikka , it came with rice and a small salad. The chicken was well seasoned and tender and the rice was really good too!... Cute little place, clean and family friendly. Our server was the nicest guy. If you're in the area it's a worth a try.

Yelp
- Lamb Curry: It was so delicious. - Tried their pita burger once. It didn't taste good. - Price is reasonable. - Service is good. People there are so polite. - Ambiance: okay-okay. UPDATE: 28th Nov 2023 There ownership has changed. There has been a lot improvement in their foods. They decorated the place beautifully. Tried two of their items after the ownership has changed. Item: Chicken Dum Biryani Taste: Was little bit spicy for me. But still I loved it. Pieces of meat were enough. Served with salad and raita. Price: 14.99+tax Amount: Good enough for one person. Cannot be shared between two people. Item: Philly Steak Taste: Good. Liked it. Worthy of price. Hard to finish at one time. Price: 8.99+ tax Highly recommended!!

Yelp
A Las Vegas hidden gem!!! Just a few blocks from the strip, was looking for a gyros sandwich and gave this place a try. Wow was I impressed! Not only with the quality and portion size, but the price was on the low! Just $10 for a super lamb gyro with feta! And if you order it for carry-out, you get gyros, fries and drink for $10

Yelp
The food is to die for here! The staff is kind and attentive. I really like the Ora and energy. It's calm and relaxing and before you know it you're so full you need to loosen a few buttons.

Yelp
Love the food here. Great taste and quantity. Good service too. Meat is very juicy and tender!!!!

Yelp
The food here was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. Since we were close to the museum, we decided to try Kabob Korner-a hidden gem we're so glad we discovered. I had the Fish Tikka Masala, and it was fantastic. Every dish we ordered was exceptional. Don't let its location fool you; the food, service, and ambience truly shine.

Yelp
Stopped here for a quick lunch. The gentleman working Chris had one of the best service Ive experienced in any dine in. Food & service were excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service and food! Will go back definitely, the gyros are amazing good for lunch on the go for work.
google avatar

Matt K.

Yelp
Although the name implies middle eastern kabobs the food has more of an Indian flair to it. We enjoyed the chicken chili dish and chicken kabob sandwich but it's more like minced chicken than kabobs. We liked them but they did need the side sauces to add flavor - a bit bland otherwise. The veggie samosa was very good. Prices are a tad high for the portions. The online ordering prices on their website are lower than in person but the system doesn't even work so may be old prices.
google avatar

Stephen C.

Yelp
Very fast service. Authentic menu. Place is being remodeled which affects the ambiance but it'll be great when finished. They are even adding a patio for outdoor eating. Food is plentiful and delicious. The lamb sharma (?) was amazingly good. Other stuff we had was all great. We took some home too. This is my second time eating here. Won't be my last.
google avatar

Yelp
Best halal hamburgers near the airport! The chicken kabob pita meal was a nice blend of spices and the moisture content was well balanced.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is great, service is fast. Tight spot for parking and the view is a bunch of people walking by but still nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Very filling portion size and well Priced Even for Vegas. There wasn't an awkward exchange with staff. You can eat here and have things explained
google avatar

Naveen W.

Yelp
we ordered; chicken tikka, bihari kabab, tandoori naan, tarka daal, chicken koyla karahi, chicken biryani, bun kabab, papdi chaat, chicken nuggets and fries. Out of everything I loved the bihari kabab, chicken tikka was flavorful but a little on the more charred side. Papdi chaat was really good, bun kabab wasn't really a bun kabab but a beef burger although it was good in flavor and the naans were so soft and perfect. Service was good. Will come back to try other items on the menu.
google avatar

Shannon P.

Yelp
Everything I've ever had there is perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. The staff is always kind and attentive. They recently remodelled too. Anything you order in the menu will be superb.

Yelp
Wth happened to this place? Terrible food, service and environment. This place use to be a gem in Vegas. My family always ate here when we would come visit. We just had dinner here and The food tasted old and uncooked. Not only was the food bad, but the management entirely has gone chaotic. We had the chili chicken, Bihari kebob, french fries, rice and naan. Everything tasted old. We told the server that the Bihari kabob was uncooked and he took it from us. From the looks of it, instead of making us a new one, they just cooked the uncooked Bihari kebob they gave us in the first place lmao! In addition, i asked for no seasoning on the fries. I returned the fries and they brought back the same basket of fries, just removing the top fries that had the seasoning on it lmao! The place is filthy and unmaintained. Right beside us was a table of cigarettes and deodorant. The glass for the table tops is larger than the tables, so the glass sticks out: a safety hazard for children! It feels like eating in cartoon garage. I am deeply saddened to see what has happened to this place. We have been coming here decades. They should just give up and sell this place. Its best to avoid this place. I say that with a heavy hear because I understand its post pandemic, but seriously you can eat somewhere else where your money will be well spent.

Yelp
Kabob Korner has some great food, wait times are a little longer due to making the food to order once placed. I got the Spicy Zinger Chicken Sandwich had a special sauce/ketchup with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions, side of fires and drink of your choice included. My uncle got the goat curry, he enjoyed it with the regular naan and they serve that with sides of green chilies, onions and lime. Smelled great. * he was almost finished with it, licking his fingers while he was eating it lol. * I had finished my sandwich so sorry no picture
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
In the east side of Vegas around Swenson there's no lack of Indian and Mediterranean restaurants. Kabob Korner is one of these. The inside is small, but it seems most people get takeout. It has the usual Indian and Mediterranean foods. There's good vegetarian options too. I like the falafel pita more than anything. It's about $7 for a pita. This comes with more than a few pieces of falafel, along with a sauce. It comes with tzatziki or yogurt sauce, but I don't do dairy so I get it without it. They don't have anything else but ketchup though. It would be cool to get tahini on it. That's the best sauce to put on falafel, but too bad they don't have this. Overall the food is good. It has a pretty large variety even though it's a small restaurant. The Mediterranean is my favorite but I also like the Indian stuff.
google avatar

Omer A.

Yelp
I ordered the zinger burger which was delicious and a perfect serving size. The fries are well seasoned and the service is excellent. The prices are very good, especially in today's climate, and you definitely get what you pay for. I also really like the decorations and the ambience with the music in the background.

Hammad M.

Yelp
The food here was amazing and the prices were very affordable. The customer service was excellent and the ambience was great with music.
google avatar

Christal H.

Yelp
What an awesome place! Excellent customer service!! Can't wait to try the hummus and tzatziki! I'll def be back to try more items on their menu!

A G.

Yelp
This place is really a hole in the wall. The floor and restaurant was filthy, and the food was flavorless. Its definitely not for a family environment since It was in a bad area and loitering. The best part was Chris the server. He was polite. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I am sure there are many other Kabob restaurants that are much better than this place.
google avatar

Bridget C.

Yelp
I ordered a gyro and tandoori garlic naan for delivery from here today. Both were supremely delicious and fresh. I had a craving for something fresh and savory and the gyro hut that spot. Loved the sauce, the meat was super flavorful, and the veggies were crunchy and cool. The naan could've used a bit more garlic but I'm a garlic lover and could eat it on its own. Next time I'll leave a note asking for more cause I'm sure most people prefer it as is, which is pretty darn tasty.
google avatar

Taylor B.

Yelp
I ordered from here during the pandemic a few times and its always good food. Sat and ate maybe once before this. Normally the fries are better but this time they needed longer to cook. The Gyro is #3 in the city to me. Philly cheesesteak still bomb. The shrimp basket was amazing, probably the best Ive had anywhere so theres that. Just your average little spot with above average food and fair prices. I definitely rcommend!

Keeta A.

Yelp
I'm from NY, let's start there. What taco trucks are out here in Vegas, Halal trucks are in NY. I absolutely love lamb and rice, so finding a spot that reminds my of home can be difficult. I live down the block and was craving lamb and rice. Some halal spots around here have the audacity to only sell BEEF! The horror!! I came to Halal Kabob Korner hoping they wouldn't fail me, and oh boy they didn't!! The lamb is fresh and dare I say better than the spots I'm use to at home. Shot out to Alexis, the staff overall are polite, approachable and friendly. Most importantly, professional. They know the menu really well. When my mom comes and visit I will be bringing her here.
google avatar

Diane J.

Yelp
This was the worst lunch I have ever had everything was cold and wet of burnt and it cost $44 definitely not worth it
google avatar

Mohammed N.

Yelp
I won't even give one star if I could. Worse food it's a joke with Pakistani food. The Koila Karahi is nothing like that. We told the manager/server not sure who he was but he didn't give a crap, no apologies nothing and just took the food away and when it came to paying, he had the guts to charge us for tip without even asking this place is horrible as hell. Shame on staff and shame on the owners it's "haram" to charge people for this kind of shit service and horrible tasting food ...you can't do this to future customers...DONT GO THERE!!
google avatar

Hager B.

Yelp
MashAllah! Such an amazing spot!! Great hospitality and service. The food was amazing!! I would definitely come back when I'm in town!!!

William R.

Yelp
I dined here (take-away) quite a few times over several months of back-to-back trips to Las Vegas. I just happened to find it online and am so happy that I did. That first night's meal was so fantastic that I ate there every time I was in town and I would dine there again next time. I always ordered the chicken boti shish. The portion size was enough that I had leftovers. The chicken was quite flavorful and tender. The price is quite good given there is more than I can eat in one meal. The ambiance is OK, though I never dined in but waited on site. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The online menu prices are off, but I called in my orders anyway. The location is a bit sketchy, though. This place is worth a try. I was hooked after my first time.
google avatar

Shannon P.

Yelp
Food was very good, service was so-so. The menu was very dark and hard to read. The biggest issue I have with this spot is the fact they force you to tip them 15% if you dine in. And even worse, you don't even know this until you are checking out. It's not on the door or menu. It's a little sign laid flat on the counter when you check out. I feel like I got rooked. I won't be back.

Munira A.

Yelp
Really bad experience here at kabob korner. Seems like staff is underpaid, overworked, tired. The behavior was so rude, I am not sure if I trust what I ate.
google avatar

Amir S.

Yelp
Called KABOB KORNER (on Flamingo Rd in Las Vegas, NV) and asked him about the LUNCH BUFFET advertised on the website for $11.99 (see attached image). Guy on the phone apologized saying it was discontinued. I said the website lists it for $11.99. He said I must have Google'd the wrong place and, thus, am probably calling the wrong place. I said the phone number I am calling was taken directly from the website (kabobkorner.net/home.html)! He said I must be mistaken. Then I asked if the buffet was recently discontinued (tried giving them the benefit of the doubt considering they may not have updated the website). The guy said it was discontinued TWO AND A HALF years ago! I said to him that why does the website continue to show a buffet discontinued 2.5 years ago??? He said he doesn't know what I was talking about - the psychopathic liar! I told him they are committing fraud misrepresenting something no longer in service and they should update their website. The guy flipped out and told me to not eat at the restaurant then. This verified that he knew the website showed a misrepresentation and I was myself was irate. How dare this jerk tell me I'm looking at the wrong site when the site is the same place I was calling????
google avatar

Nadir Z.

Yelp
The food was amazing the platter we ordered was only half a platter and it was extremely big to serve at least four people. The service was extraordinary the lady who were serving knew her menu recommended some good choices and some drinks we would definitely be going there every time we are in that area

john R.

Yelp
We didn't give this place a try because from the very beginning we did not feel welcomed. We were waiting at the counter for 10 minutes behind a couple when this old man comes out and starts scolding the customers about the front door being open and the AC. We didn't open the door. And that's definitely NOT how you greet a customer waiting to 10 minutes. We were more than patient waiting 10 minutes at the front counter with nobody there. I've learned over the years to NOT eat at a place you DO NOT immediately feel welcomed in.
google avatar

Amna N.

Yelp
Horrible Food, horrible service and on top of it they charged us auto tips. We ordered Chicken koyla karahi but got soupy tasteless watery chicken (cold) also ordered chicken tikka masala in which chicken pieces were burnt and had bitter taste the so called naan were half cooked with self rising flour. This place is a scam and when you complain to them about the food instead of apologizing the guy gave a dirty look! Driving all the way from Southern California we were extremely disappointed in this place!!!! This place isn't what is was 4 years ago when we came.
google avatar

Yelp
Shady hood Food ok but 3 stars Parking tight Place looks work down and not very clean Prices high for this food and area
google avatar

Enrique N.

Yelp
I've came here a couple times and they definitely have some delicious dishes! I've had the goat karahi with the tandoori naan bread. It is so good! Not really spicy (for me at least), but the explosive, savory flavors take over with this one. Goat was cooked nicely and the bread as well. Some of the best naan bread I've had actually. Last time I was there I tried the fish tikka massala and it was super good, too. The fish is marinated in lemon. I requested the entree extra spicy and they delivered. Still comfortable to eat, the curry was out-of-this-world delicious. Definitely a must try. I've gotten the sweet lassi twice and they've been consistent with this drink. It is great and a must have. I'm knocking them 1 star due to the unimpressive appetizers. I've got the beef samosa and hummus. Both were disappointing. They were bland and didn't taste fresh. Service is speedy, waiters were knowledgeable of the dishes and polite, and the place is clean. Parking can get tight. Prices are fair. Those great entrees are keeping me coming here.

Camille F.

Yelp
Great food! We asked for spicy and loved everything we received. From dinner to dessert, everything was revived fairly speedy. Minus forgetting our tea for a hot minute (totally understandable given the rush), it went perfect. The tea itself was delicious and tasted straight from Pakistan. Would absolutely recommend!

Yelp
This place has some great Mediterranean food! It is a really nice cozy spot. I came here at about 9:30 on a Saturday and it was really calm. Not too many people so the service is fast. The people were really nice.
