Spice Trade opens in fall 2019 in Greenwood Village | Eater Denver

"Debuting at the airport this summer, this will be the first retail shop from a roaster who already sells Ethiopian beans online. Located on the west side of the main terminal, the shop will feature light-roast Ethiopian coffee as its centerpiece, alongside local kombucha, fruit smoothies, pastries and grab-and-go items; the owner roasts about 15 pounds of coffee a day and currently operates a jewelry kiosk at the airport." - Susan Stapleton

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a blueberry scone, and after one bite I noticed it tasted off. Looking closer, there was visible mold on it. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, they denied it was mold and refused to do anything about it. Not only was the food quality concerning, but the way the situation was handled…. Unbelievable!!!!

Worst experience ever. Ordered 2 protein smoothies and 2 pastries—waited 25 mins, got only 1 smoothie. Had to get back in line and repay for the second one they forgot. Watched them make it—no protein, glass barely ¾ full. Told her to fix it, she just dumped ice in to fake it. Staff was rude, careless, and unprofessional. Never coming back.

Matcha latte is quite good. A little sweet. The only downside is the price but it's an airport so that's expected.

It is not appropriate to call this a specialty coffee roaster. They use a gas station machine styled automatic push and brew and it’s so weak I abandoned it to find real coffee. The food is at least two days old dead and dry (also threw out) basically this place is junk other that the kind folks working here.

The mgr who had a heavy accent I believe Spanish was extremely rude during the entire transaction. I asked for her name and she turned her badge around so I couldn’t see it. I said I would call her dist mgr she said she was the dist mgr laughing. I’m calling her corporate office. I was a retail store mgr for years and I always treated my customers with respect. She does not! I got a 15 doller salad and an oat milk. The oat milk was way sweeter than it should have been after taking 1 sip of it. I explained it wasn’t the oat milk I usually have. She reluctantly gave me my money back. As I walked away I returned and asked for my receipt that was never given and she said to stay out of her store and she’s going to call security. I saw security with her as I was leaving the airport. I went up to security and I told her what happened. Then I walked away. The rude Spanish lady was laughing the entire time. Apparently she’s not aware the camera at her place records everything. From what it seems I think she doesn’t like white American women. I have ordered smoothies before from there and she is always rude and standoffish. Today she was ruder then normal.

We ordered a cold brew and a cappuccino. They charge for milk substitute. Overall prices were double what they should be. The cold brew might be one of the worst coffees I've had along with the cappuccino quite flavorless. Don't be tempted by the average star review. All the recent reviews reflect the place quite accurately.

The customer service here was genuinely disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was clear the staff didn’t want to be there their energy and attitude said it all. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and was given an iced latte instead. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the cashier was not only unpleasant but actually argued with me about it, rather than simply correcting the order. It left a really bad impression. If you’re looking for a smooth experience or just trying to enjoy your day, I wouldn’t recommend this place. It did the opposite for me.

No real line, small space and found it was open early. Coffee was good, mocha was very sweet. Got 2 pastries, unfortunately they only partially warmed them. 30$ with tip was a bit spendy but its the airport. Over all it wasnt too bad.
