Kabuki Japanese Restaurant

I’m so glad I ordered ramen — it tastes great! From the waiter service, they all made us feel comfortable, till the delicious food was served.. Keep making your customers so happy 😊

I had high hopes for this restaurant because we used to like them for our japanese food. In my opinion this time the food was bland. We ordered the pork belly mini plate, garlic edamame, and ginseng ramen. The taste was a tad bit short. Plus the restaurant was hard to find from the parking lot.

The food is 5 star but there is no fun or Japanese ambiance….not even at the sushi bar where I sat. The chefs almost seemed like…”Why are you giving me your order?”. Service was VERY slow and we were served sushi but had to ask for wasabi and ginger): Anyway, the prices are fair and the food was GOOD!! I liked the way the cold saki was served.(:

Highly recommend! Super tasty and cheap. The fish is very fresh, you can see how the chef cuts it.

I was hoping this place would still be open after the last few years. It’s been a minute since the last time I ate here. The server was so sweet and helpful explaining what a few items were. Oh, and the Host was extremely welcoming, as well as the gentleman who played musical chairs with us about our seating preference 😆 The Japanese whiskey drink (can’t remember what it was called) was pretty satisfying and their Happy hour (3-6:00) made our last minute dining experience even better! The fish was VERY FRESH, I have to say.. everything was 👍🏻 🏆

Stephanie, Melanie and Ramos are the best. Happy hour is definitely worth it, but I wouldn't come during regular hours... Way too expensive. Recommend: Philadelphia roll - add avocado Spicy tuna roll Alaskan roll Spicy tuna salad Firecracker Mixed tempura Sesame chicken Calamari rings Lunch bentos are good and a good price for what you get.

This place only disappointed me once. I had an upset stomach the next day but, otherwise, this place is gold. I always order the California roll and spicy ramen noodle. It’s so good especially when it’s warm. One thing they should look into is actually calling your number once your food is ready. I’ve made mobile orders with my boyfriend on several occasions. They’d ask for our phone number to call when the food is ready and then won’t call. We’d have to go and grab it on a hunch just to have our food and ramen isn’t good when it’s cold. Luckily they don’t have a problem with re-heating. Their lemonade is really good. Update: 01/19/24 I came here with my fiancé last night just an hour before closing and did of take out order of two California sushi rolls, a strawberry lemonade, and spicy beef ramen for $36.35 just for them to not include one of our sushi rolls. They only messed up with us on one other occasion so we didn’t feel the need to check but now that I’m opening our order from last night (we didn’t end up eating all of it, only the ramen and lemonade), I see that we got charged for something that we didn’t receive so I don’t think we will be eating here for a while. Idk if they didn’t include our rolls because we came an hour before closing and they were tired or something but this is a huge disappointment. I even repeated the order to the girl on the phone and she repeated it back to me so I don’t see why this happened. This is such a huge disappointment since me and my fiancé have been coming here for years (since the start of our relationship) and now this place is going straight to down the crapper. We will be getting a refund and not returning.

Chain restaurant in the Howard Hughs mall. Bright. Cheery. Out server Bryan was attentive. Decent size menu with good choices. Not someplace I would bring a friend visiting from Japan. But rainbow roll, ikura and salmon was good. Miso soup on salty side.
