The 38 Best Restaurants in New Delhi, India | Eater

"Price Range: $ Kadimi excels at samosas and jalebis. The samosas stuffed with potatoes will be familiar to visitors from around the world, but the version with peas and dal is even lighter, crumblier, and more flavorful. Meanwhile, the jalebis are skinny, crisp, and syrupy with sugar, rose, and saffron. On a rainy day, you’ll see them vanish into paper bags within seconds. Vibe check: The shop has drawn throngs of locals for four decades." - Sharanya Deepak

As a food blogger, I'm always on the hunt for unique spots, and Kadimi Sweets in Jangpura is a genuine find! The first thing that impressed me was the value—you can get high-quality sweets like Kaju Katli and Dhodha Barfi at wholesale rates, which is a fantastic deal. But it's not just about the sweets. Their savory food is a game-changer. I was completely blown away by the taste of their dishes, especially because they are made with no onion and no garlic. The flavor is incredible and shows the true skill of their chefs. They also offer fantastic, well-curated thalis, which are perfect for corporate lunches or any large get-togethers. Whether you're planning a party or just have a sweet craving, this place has you covered. Highly recommend it to anyone in the Delhi area! You'll find them on Central Road, Bhogal, Jangpura. A must-visit! Rating: 5 Stars (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Kadimi Dukan: Rating: ★★★★★ One of the best places in town for a true desi food experience! Kadimi Dukan serves mouthwatering chole puri and bhature chole perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The namkeen is super fresh, and their jalebi is crispy, juicy, and served hot – just the way it should be! And don’t miss out on their lassi – thick, creamy, and refreshing. A perfect combo for a satisfying meal or snack. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic North Indian flavors!

They serve two types of poori, one is Bedmi Poori and second one is this big one , two different kind sabzi, one is with aloo and one with chole I had lassi- loved it My feed back or rather our family's feedback - We are not into Pooris ..Chole Bhature ..we eat very less as family ..Well recently i was in small town called Jagadhri/Yamuna Nagar ... i had eaten Poori Chole from Sunder Lal Puri Wale last Sunday …. It was amazing I feel I don’t have Pallet for Poori Cholle/ Cholle Bhature … I mean I didn’t like Petha Sabzi while our Cook liked it ( we got two plates packed for my her and my mother) I wanted to avoid QSR like Haldiram and Bikanerwala … Next I would try Anupama ( as I find them consistent ) and may be likes of sweetshops from bengali market Overall it was fine experience for me

Delicious all-vegetarian food at pretty good prices. Takeaway is offered, but they also have place to eat. You can either stand at the counter in front of the delivery counter, or (better) you can take your plate into the tiny but pretty clean seating area next door. The aloo-bedmi, puri-chana, and malpua with rabri are all excellent!

Probably the finest jalebi you will find in South Delhi. Situated in streets of Jangpura and the outlet is always crowded. The jalebis are pretty crispy and a true delight to eat with perfect sweetness and crunch. They are always made fresh and hence there is nothing better than eating warm crispy jalebis in winters of Delhi at Kadimi sweets. They accept both cash and upi. Overall a must visit place if you are a jalebi lover.
