This yummy spot is part of an Asian food hall. Multiple vendors putting out some delish fresh food. Had a Young Fried Rice and it’s was flavorful, not greasy or salty, just perfect. The turnip cake was crispy outside and soft inside, very tasty. The sesame balls were fried and filled with red bean perfectly. Service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend.

Luckily, there was a minimal line when I arrived for lunch. Food came out quickly and looked as advertised. The skin on the chicken was soft, and the bone-in cuts were a bit difficult to navigate with chop sticks, but I managed and enjoyed it. The char sui also tasted as expected. Both dishes were pretty good portion sizes. The line an hour later was long and parking somehow more awful. But the little indoor shopping area is pretty cute. I wish there was more seating or at least chairs available, though.

Google
Oh my goodness, this place is amazing; crowded but amazing. I had to find a parking spot across the street. After making my way across the street I entered a very busy market. The smell was wonderful. Ordered 2lbs of crispy pork to go. My ordered was filled fast and the checkout was easy. My food was handed to me hot. The pork melted in my mouth; it was heavily. I will be a regular customer!

Kai Kai BBQ & Dumplings is a hidden gem in Orlando! The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The dumplings are handmade, with perfectly chewy wrappers and delicious fillings—I highly recommend the pan-fried pork dumplings. Their roast duck and BBQ pork are also top-notch, juicy, and full of rich, smoky flavor. The service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Whether you’re dining in or taking food to go, it’s a fantastic spot for anyone who loves high-quality Chinese BBQ and dumplings. Definitely a must-visit for food lovers in Orlando!

Google
Massive lines usually mean something good's at the end of them. Kai kai is no exception. Got the "pick two rice bowl" with duck and crispy pork belly, plus an order of siu mai, and the $5 upgrade to their fried rice. The pork and duck were both excellent. Fried rice is not worth the money: a little bit of egg and some scant flecks of scallion throughout. Stay close to the counter after you order, it may be a 20-minute wait, because they don't always shout your order number loudly, nor do they necessarily repeat it. Again, I can't stand being asked for tips before you've even eaten the food or gotten a chance to determine what the service is like. The order was messed up as the char su barbecued pork was ordered but the crispy pork sent instead. It didn't matter because they were both excellent. On subsequent visits, the chasu pork proved just as delicious. This is a regular stop now. A+++

Google
This spot is a must-try, we ordered a combo platter, and it came loaded with tender, flavorful char siu (BBQ pork), crispy roast pork with a perfect crunchy skin, and juicy roast duck—all served on a bed of rice with a side of fresh bok choy. The portions were generous, and the quality was excellent, especially the balance of textures in each meat. The display of hanging roast ducks behind the fogged-up glass showcases just how fresh the offerings are. It’s a visual treat that matches the taste experience. The included sauces were rich and complemented the meal perfectly. I’d definitely come back for another round of these mouthwatering dishes!

Google
Let me start by saying go early and be ready to wait a bit!! Now let’s get to the good stuff… The honey bbq pork was phenomenal and the roasted pork is also a must. I have tried bbq pork in Toronto, New York and other cities and this has to be one of the best. The dumplings and Singapore noodles were also really good and great taste. I strongly suggest getting pick 3 rice box worth the money.

Google
Great service. However food today was a negative. Nothing against them. The noodles were little salty, the rice with pork was kinda hard. And the pork probably could have been cooked longer. The buns in the store section: dang they are pricey. Note to self to go down street ifresh for way less. BUT, ILL b back for the Snow sweets.

Yelp
This place in the new-ish Mills Market on 50 had the longest line at 11a on a Saturday and it just got busier and busier. They were still stocking the hanging meats but they looked more and more delicious. We weren't super hungry so a few samples were ordered. The bao buns were delicious and the spicy chicken dumplings had that Szechuan kick to them which was amazing. I think the "hot bar" is managed by them as well. There are a few choices at this location, but this one seemed like the most popular. I'd love to try those bright red ribs next time!!!! Yum!

Yelp
Lots to love, but a bit inconsistent. I've had Kai Kai several times -- once before they had a physical location while at a food festival and several times at their Mills Market location. Overall, I think Kai Kai has room for improvement, but I liked several of their dishes! First off, their homemade rice noodles are amazing. When you're able to get them, the texture is perfect, chewy, and has the perfect bite. However, it's a labor-intensive dish, so they tend to run out quickly and I'm not able to get my fix every time. There was one time where the Beef Chow Fun was a little salty, but it was just that one time. I also really enjoyed their whole Soy Sauce Chicken and their Singapore Rice Noodles! The value of the Soy Sauce Chicken can't be beat! It's huge and cooked perfectly every time. The only thing that I have mixed feelings about with Kai Kai is their roast duck. I LOVE roast duck, but I don't think I'd get it here. It's a staple in Cantonese-style cuisine, but I find that their ducks are why too boney and the skin isn't as crispy as I'd like. I think I'd prefer to get a duck at Tasty Wok across the street. Service is efficient and friendly! They're always super nice and give us extra chili oil when we ask. It does take a little while for food to come out, but they make the dim sum and noodle dishes fresh! We usually wait for about 10-15 minutes for our food -- this isn't the place to go if you're looking for food that's ready to go under a warmer. Overall, I'd recommend them as a chill lunch or hangout spot, especially if you're checking out some of the other places nearby too.

Yelp
I can't really recommend to here unfortunately. The menu looks so delicious and classic, but it was a bit disappointing. I got the soy chicken and pork, and both were room temperature. The pork tasted ok but was chewy, and the chicken was quite greasy but also lacked flavor. The chive dip saved the bland chicken if the skin were able to retain a crispy texture it would've been much better. Overall I wouldn't recommend even to try as there's much better versions of meat and rice elsewhere ):

Yelp
I've seen so much about this place on social media. I was very much excited to try this place especially since how much they boast about their crispy skin on their food. Sadly, I was left unimpressed and pretty disappointed by the meal. I did come here with another Yelp friend whose experience was much better than mine but I was surprised at the stark difference of quality in food. I got the soy chicken was to be frank tasted awful. It was flavored but pretty bland and cut in an awkward way so I was struggling to eat it somewhat gracefully (and not like a baby's first time with utensils). It was full of bones and impossible to enjoy. The rice was a plain as possible. I was shocked at how plain this rice was. The boy choy was nice but like everything else missing seasoning. There was some sort of oyster sauce mixed with soy sauce which was the only way I was able to enjoy the food. The only reason this gets three stars is because my friend who got a duck fried rice and their cucumber salad. The duck fried rice was out of this world. It was a top tier fried rice and full of mouthwatering flavors. I was definitely regretting my safe dish. I also don't eat pork so I was limited on my options. The cucumber salad was fresh, crunch and so so good. They definitely have good options here and the duck fried rice is it! But when you get a not so good option, it definitely falls flat sadly. Like all my reviews as I don't live near this area, I do consider is this worth the drive. If I was in a fried rice mood and had time to spare, yes absolutely. But otherwise coming specifically to Kai Kai, would not be a drive I recommend if you are out of Orlando as you can definitely find other spots with similar concepts most likely closer to you. But I do recommend coming to the Mills Market area as it does have options worth the drive in my opinion. If you have been eyeing coming to Mills Market, definitely make the drive and try ONE thing from here if the line isn't too busy (which I recommend duck fried rice or cucumber salad).

Yelp
We came for dinner on a busy Saturday night, and while it was crowded, navigating through the space was pretty easy. We decided to go with the honey BBQ chicken rice box ($9.95) with a fried rice upgrade ($5), chicken dumplings ($7.95), and honey BBQ pork baos ($6.95). The rice box was tasty, but the chicken is bone-in (which isn't mentioned on the menu) so it was hard to eat as a bowl with a fork and knife. I personally prefer boneless and would not get that again. The fried rice was outstanding though- definitely a must-try. The chicken dumplings were also really tasty, and the baos? Those were my favorite. I highly recommend getting them! I honestly give them the 5 start for only the appetizers and fried rice! Service was friendly, and our food came out quickly. If you're planning to eat inside the market, seating can be a bit limited, with most options being standing tables. Next time, I'll probably opt for a to-go order to make things easier. Kai Kai BBQ is a good, authentic spot that I'll definitely try again.

Yelp
This spot is one of the many restaurants located inside of the Mills Market located off of Mills and Colonial Dr. that replaced the previous Asian market there. There were so many places to choose from but I decided to start with Kai Kai BBQ! There was a bit of a line but the person up at the register was quick to get through the line! I ordered the pork Bao and the duck Bao to go since I had to run back to work and then I also ordered the mango drink with pulp which was SO good! The buns themselves were okay but nothing super impressive. I had a hard time peeling the paper off the bottom of the buns themselves when it was time to eat, but they might've stuck in transit from the restaurant to my office. It might be something that's better enjoyed fresh and in the moment so perhaps next time I'll make sure I'll have time to stay and eat. Kai Kai has a decent sized menu so I'd like to try some of their noodles or rice boxes next time!

Yelp
For a small market type place, this has some serious roast duck and roast pork. I had the garlic rice as an added option and this could seriously be my last meal on earth, besides my mom's cooking. Serious food in a small enviornment...a must visit for anyone looking to indulge in rich savory chinese bbq!

Natalia L.

Yelp
First time here, area was busy for lunar new year festivities. Inside looked clean and similar to outdoor street markets in theme, employees were nice and answered any questions or recommendations about their menu. Forgot to take a picture but I got the duck bao and it was delicious! Would come here again to try more of their menu.

Rocky M.

Yelp
I love getting rice boxes here! Comes with a protein, rice and bok choy -- making it a well rounded plate. I tried the bbq char siu and roasted duck and really enjoyed both of them. The wait can take a while but the staff is fantastic and it's nice to be able to watch them prepare your food with the open kitchen. Parking can be a bit difficult to snag but once you get it, Kai Kai and other places in Mills Market are definitely worth a visit.

Kathryn P.

Yelp
Mills market is about to be a weekly stop for me!!! What a great new addition. As it was our first time to the market and to Kai Kai we got the 3 protein option rice box to get to try a lot and find out our favorite. All of them were soooo good!!! The pork was definitely a stand out and would have to make this a staple every time we go. Everything was so delicious, fresh, and flavorful with the sauces that came on the side. Also gave so much rice! Ordering was quick and efficient and I can see how they sell out. The dumplings were also sooo good the filling was divine and the crispy outside was fried perfect. I can't wait to come back and try more, next on my list is definitely their hand made noodles!

Crystal R.

Yelp
One of the many vendors selling food here. Kai Kai Had the longest line as they are she most popular here. I got their gyoza there fried buns and fried shrimp. These were all good I will say the fried shrimp can become a lot as it does not come with a sauce. There are not a lot of seating options here for how many people come. It's best if you are ordering to go.

Kalvin K.

Yelp
So my social media has been bombarded by recommendations for this place and I finally stopped in. A good test of these types of spots is their roast pork. Being Cantonese and from New York, I'm pretty judgmental about Cantonese/Hong Kong food, the crispy roast pork here is probably the worst I've ever had. It's salty and the skin is poorly prepared. Definitely will not be returning.

Sadie O.

Yelp
Finally tried Kai Kai, Orlando's hottest spot serving fresh cooked duck, chicken, and pork dishes. My partner has been highly anticipating this spot so we had to stop by saturday afternoon for a bite. It was incredibly crowded which was to be expected for a spot housing 4 of the most popular businesses in the Mills area. Service was quick, the line went fast which was great. I got the vietnamese iced coffee which tends to be my go-to when it's in the menu and my partner got a rice bowl and beef chow fun. I'll let her leave her food review below. : I liked how foods like roast duck and crispy pork can be easily accessible. Usually for me, roast duck and crispy pork can get very expensive and I don't usually want just the entire duck by itself so it's nice that you can get it as a meal with rice and bok choy. Leaving my home and family in Maryland and moving to Orlando, I'd never thought I would be able to get meals like this again so it's refreshing to find a place like this. The flavors were on par and the portions are filling. I'll definitely be back again!

Michelle L.

Yelp
The food is very delicious and authentic! Some of the dim sum prices are a little high and same with the noodles, but everything is tasty. The best deal are the meats, everything is flavorful and it's great amount for sharing. Come early so they don't run out of meats to buy which is a mistake we made on our first visit. The seating is limited so come early, around opening to get some seats.

Heather V.

Yelp
Just like the rest of Orlando, I had to see if the Kai Kai hype is real or not. And sadly for us it was 'ehh'. At least the food. It was good, don't get me wrong. Just not one hour standing in line waiting good. We tried a bit of everything; crispy pork, beef chow fun, honey bbq chicken, and dumplings. I was a bit bummed they were out of the pan fried dumplings. Out of everything we tried, we enjoyed the dumplings and beef chow fun the most. And the skin on the crispy pork. For obvious reasons. The staff themselves on the other hand deserve five stars alone. It is family run with everything made from scratch. Having an open kitchen allows us guests with an inside look into their operation, which I always find cool. Be prepared to wait. And pending on the day and time you visit, prepare to wait quite a bit. We waited over one hour but also visited around 1pm on a Saturday. Don't make the same mistake we did. Which also won't help your chances of snagging parking either. Kai Kai deserves to be tried at least once, at the least.

Anna L.

Yelp
I recently stopped into Mills Market for lunch and decided to give Kai Kai a try. We ordered the pick 2 rice box which comes with your choice of 2 proteins, steamed rice and a seasonal veggie. For our two meats, we went with the roasted duck and the bbq pork char siu. We wanted to try the crispy pork, but they were out of it. Ultimately, I was not very impressed by this meal. The meats were tough, full of bones and really just hard to eat. I was most looking forward to the crispy skin on the duck but even that was chewy and soggy. My husband ended up eating the majority of it. Maybe I need to try some other things on the menu next time. It also didn't help that it was uncomfortably hot inside the market that day. I know they're still making updates to the space and I hope that the A/C situation is something they will address. Luckily, there are other vendors inside the market, so I was still able to find something else I did enjoy.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Initially walking in from the back of the Tien Hung Market entrance where there is a parking lot, it appeared to be a lot. Bc the line was so long. Kai Kai had the longest line. Banh Mi Boy line was not bad, and I don't think Unigirl was open when I went. Since it seemed like forever waiting in line, I talked to people around me and looked at pics of what to order. Definitely be patient and have someone else in your group find a spot to sit. Mostly high chairs and two or three low tables. I hate that bc I'm short and it's a pain to climb on those high chairs. I ordered the 3 meat rice bowl to share which I chose roast duck, sweet soy chicken, and char siu pork. They were out of rib and I didn't want the crispy crackling pork. Those are the five options for meat. It came with rice and Chinese broccoli or some type of veggie. These were very good especially with the hoisin sauce which you can ask for extra sauce. Also We ordered The beef chow fun noodles which was our fave along with the char siu pork with hoisin sauce. Everyone who worked there was super nice and friendly. *Its a bit hot inside. Not the worse but bc of the cooking going on.

Julie D.

Yelp
I was looking forward to trying Kai Kai since it opened. It's located inside the Mills Market alongside other vendors. The line wasn't too bad on a Thursday afternoon but I've heard it can get busier on the weekend. We parked in back which can be pretty difficult to find but worth it or you can try street parking. I went with the duck fried rice and garlic cucumber and I wasn't disappointed, the rice was amazing (star of the show) and the cucumbers were very tasty and refreshing. It was hard to find a table to sit or stand but we got lucky waiting for someone to leave. The ambiance is nice and you have a lot of options within the same market. The service was quick and I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes.

Anna L.

Yelp
Meh food wasn't that great. They are charging 60 dollars for a roasted duck which is insanely expensive and it doesn't taste like a 60 dollar roasted duck. The pork cha shu was so red and pretty sweet. Not a good either. The crispy pork wasn't even crispy. They soy sauce chicken was decent. Overall, not worth the money.

Jalim A.

Yelp
Go Big or Go Home. ... Lunch for 2 $65.00.... I have been looking forward to trying this location! Let's talk Food; #1.Porkbelly was bland, crispy but bland #2.Fried Shrimp Balls very greasy #3 Pork Char Sui and sausage fried rice were the saving grace of it all. Maybe choosing a saturday to visit a new location is not a good Idea.

Shay M.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place as I've seen it mentioned online several times. I finally made time to stop to check it out. It is inside of the Mills Market which is a quaint food hall style location. I ordered from the Kai Kai BBQ counter and the server was very nice despite it being very busy. I ordered the BBQ chicken and duck plate to go and it took about 20 mins to get. The food was ok. It wasn't hot and the duck was very soggy and fatty. I plan to try again and maybe eat there to get the full experience.

Allan D.

Yelp
Quick run through on this review: Beef Chow Fun was bland; not enough salt surprisingly. Young Chow Fried Rice was okay; nothing to brag about. Chinese Sausage Fried Rice was better than the rest of our entrees. The Sesame Balls weren't red bean inside but mung bean which were pretty dry. Last but not least, the Soy Chicken was BLAND. The seasoning was practically missing.

Jensine C.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food here at Kai Kai, located in the Mills Market. I came for lunch and it was a bit busy but the team is clearly hard at work getting everyone's meals fresh and ready. The market is small but they are located in the corner stall. I loved my shrimp dumplings with that sweet and salty sauce, perfect bite size portions. My rice box with char siu pork was doused in a savory sauce with that delicious garlicky Bok choy. I would totally come back again since there were other menu items I've wanted to try.

Stephanie I.

Yelp
People are losing their mind trying to eat here but the food is just okay. It's no better than other Cantonese places imo. I don't think the price is worth it for how little food you get. If you go to Tasty Wok or YHseafood you get a larger portion for the same price.

Andrea S.

Yelp
Kai Kai BBQ is one of the newest additions to the Mills Market Bringing you authentic Cantonese cuisine from roast duck and an assortment of dim sum. I would go with the PICK 2-3 rice box options and get to try a few options!

Elfrida R.

Yelp
Kai Kai BBQ is located in the Tien Hung Market Oriental Food Center on East Colonial Dr. There are 2 other places in there. The crispy pork was bomb, and my coworker loved her food, also in the pictures. Service was fast and super nice and helpful. They have great music playing. We ate standing up at a high table, no big deal to us. I was happy, cuz I got to eat and dance at the same time. I will be coming back to try other dishes.

Mike N.

Yelp
What a great addition to the Mills50 lineup! Kai Kai is in Mills Market along with a few other vendors selling southeast asian staples. They offer some great options of grilled meat entrees, combos with rice and dim sum. The food was amazing! Every bite was delicious, to the point where I've been dying to go back even tho i was there just a couple days ago. The Beef Chow Fun was my wife's favorite. She said it has made her top comfort foods list, so we'll be going back when we need a big dose of carb happiness. The pork rice box was my favorite! It enough food for two to split. Honestly I'm amazed at the quantity and quality! Seating was one of the only things that could be improved -- since it's a market, there are only a handful of tables and chairs available so keep that in mind if you're going with a large group or at busy times. Parking can be tough on mills or colonial, but thankfully there is parking lot behind the market with plenty of spaces and lots of parallel spots on side streets. All that to say, this is on our Orlando favorites list and we recommend checking it out!

C B.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots to get dumplings and cucumber salad. The cucumber salad is fresh and simple and the dumplings are juicy and always filled. I do recommend both! The staff working are always nice and food comes out pretty fast. This place shares the space with other restaurants so there may not always be seating when it gets busy. It is worth stopping by and trying!

Michelle A.

Yelp
The food was great! I especially loved the crispy pork and the shumai. I just wish the food was warmer when it was served. We got our food in about 20 mins after placing our order in person

Elle S.

Yelp
Hands down the best dumplings that I've ever had-wow! We ordered the Pick Two plate with BBQ chicken and ribs, as well as the shrimp steamed dumplings and fried pork dumplings. Whatever you do, don't skip the fried dumplings--they might just be my favorite bite of 2024. I recommend going around 3 PM when the crowd dies down. We went twice around 2 PM, and the line took about 45 minutes. If you visit at other times, you'll likely have to wait, but trust me, it's worth it. Everything is incredibly fresh and made with care--it really shows in the flavor. The market it's located in is super cute, but it can get crowded, and parking is tricky during peak hours. For an easier experience, aim for a less busy time. This spot is a gem, and I'll definitely be back!

Carlos R.

Yelp
Good food, duck and Ribs were good and on point, sausage fried-rice was really good... not to make such a big line but it's ok. Be aware there's not enough or assigned place to eat. It's a fast food setting, you place the order and wait to be called while standing around, no sitting. If you are lucky you might get a place that has been just left by someone..... this place is to be visited one time.

Joy J.

Yelp
UPDATE: PRICE INCREASED ALREADY!! The lady said the original prices are ONLY FROM SOFT OPENING Expect higher prices from less than a week ago. So I noticed when you buy the rice plates versus PER POUND The meats are way better on the rice plates. Theres more fat on the Char Siu which makes it more juicier and tastier than all lean meat which you get if you by per pound etc. The Crispy Pork was not bad on the per pound basis however I did notice they chop it way smaller than when it is ordered on a rice plate. So my advice is speak up on how you want the meats before they ring you up.

Laura R.

Yelp
I had seen their videos on social media and knew I had to try! I am not a big duck or pork fan, so I was relieved to have the option of a chicken dish. I LOVED the sauce on the chicken, but it being on the bone, when chopped the bone broke and there was small pieces that made the experience a little less enjoyable. But the flavors were amazing and I hope to come back and try other items!

Cizza R.

Yelp
This place popped up on my Instagram and decided to check them out. HUWOW! The food tasted like we were in NYC's Chinatown! We ordered shumai and fried shrimp balls to share as well as ordering the two meat with rice combo - roast pork and bbq pork. OMG!!! We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. They are in a large food-hall type facility so LOTS of people standing around after placing their orders. There were only two tables for seating and we got lucky to get one of those tables! The food is prepared as you order but they have the typical Chinese hot stand where the cooked meats are hanging off hooks. The young man taking orders spoke English very well and answered questions about food orders. Being in that type of facility also let's you have other options too - like getting Vietnamese coffee at the stall next door or sushi too on the other side. There's also a mini mart/grocery towards the back so if you need anything oriental...oh and there was a jewelry store in the back?

Earl C.

Yelp
We tried Kai Kai today for the first time. We parked on the street right in front. Parking can be difficult ... There is a parking lot in the back but it was full. We were there about 11:10 am just after they opened. We ordered the Char Siu Rice Box, Honey BBQ Rice Box, and the Char Siu Lo Mein. We waited about 10 minutes or so for our order. The char siu is a bit dry but not bad. The chicken was good. Lo Mein has thin noodles and there were only small slices of char siu. I thought they could have added more meat to that. Since my daughter makes her own Char Siu from scratch, my standard is now high and I would much rather have hers than any restaurant. Overall, not bad at Kai Kai. Atmosphere inside is nice but not that much room. Other businesses inside the area as well.

Ajade N.

Yelp
I think some companies need to understand that people look forward to trying a new restaurant especially one that trends on social media. That being said, customer service matters. It's not anyone's job to make someone feel less than or awkward when they're trying to order and pay for their food. The person made a choice to support that particular business. Isn't that the whole point of why they're in business? For support? They should treat all customers with respect if respect is given. Not based on preference. I asked a question about if I could order the soy chicken in quarter legs and not the whole chicken. I had never been to this place before so I have questions. The guy was just kind of rude for no reason and ignored me. I understand if he was busy but he could've said, let me attend to these orders and I will get right with you to answer your questions or something, anything but just ignore me and then start calling numbers it was very rude. He did indeed hear me because he said he did later in the convo when I had to ask him if I was in the wrong area to order because wth? SMH. He was just very dismissive, as if he wanted to humble me or he thought that I had too much confidence or some thing without even knowing anything about me. Lol. I don't know but it's besides the point. I was just trying to order food. As far as the actual food. It was mediocre and I'm disappointed that I spent money on it. Everything came out cold so now I have to go home and re-cook everything and probably season it and add rice vinegar to the pork because it didn't taste clean. I heard the suggestion of trying more authentic dishes by them, but the fact that my food was cold and the pork did not taste of good quality or clean. I don't think I'd be back to try anything else. I will come back to try the other stores there though. There's just too many other options with better customer service and quality. I also suggest them pluck the hair off the duck a little bit more. I know it may be tedious but try. Lol. That's all that's my review. It just seems like another trendy social media restaurant who wants the hype but doesn't want to do the true work to keep customers. They got me once, not again.

Yelp
The food is absolutely. NY Cantonese style with the hanging duck, chicken and crispy pork. I had the beef chow fun noodles, delicious and you can taste the 'wok hei' with sprinkles of bean sprout. My hubby had the rice with the 3 choice- with the 3 meats I mentioned before. All tasty although my hub said the Crispy pork pieces, some pieces weren't crispyyy... There was about 1 hour waiting between standing in line to order, and waiting to pick up the order. Since this is a new place with lots of hype from foodie reviews, the wait was expected. There's a few other stalls here. All w/ equally long wait (Build your own Bahn mi, Summer rolls, Boba tea, and Japanese rice onigiri) but we didn't try those. Next time!

Yelp
Duck fried rice was FANTASTIC! Can't wait to try more options at this awesome location.

Yelp
Stopped by the market to get onigiris but they were sold out. We needed dinner so decided to go with Kai Kai bbq. We didn't order any of the meats but a few dim sums. The ran out of rice. We were going to do the Chinese sausage fried rice. I ordered the Singapore noodles, bbq pork buns and fried shrimp balls. The service was great though. There was 2 guys managing the front. The food was not too great. I grew up in New York. Orlando doesn't have great dim sum to begin with. Just ok dim sum. The food was overpriced for the size and portion. The bun part of the steam bbq pork buns tasted funny. They were also very small and dried inside. Better off going to a restaurant having them. If I came back to Kai Kai it might be to try the meats.

Yelp
1stv time and probably won't be the last. Place was crowded but veryyyyy well worth it, waited about 10 minutes for our food. Yummmeee is all I cam say. Crispy pork, duck and ribs a must have.

Yelp
Kai Kai BBQ was very good! The duck skin was crispy and the soy sauce chicken was juicy. Love the ginger scallion sauce it comes with. In my opinion, it was a bit pricy at ~$20 for a rice bowl, but still delicious!

Yelp
I ordered the Siu Mai and Pork dumplings and they were absolutely delicious! Full of flavor for such a small bite. Maybe waited around 10-15mins. The shared venue layout makes it easy to walk around or to just watch as they prepare your food. Do plan to drive a little bit to find open parking, as this area tends to be heavily congested with traffic. My only regret is not taking a picture of the food before eating it and not ordering more.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for duck and crispy pork in Orlando. Authentic Chinese cuisine!

Yelp
Food is amazing and affordable. The duck was divine and the shrimp dumplings hit the spot. There are good amount of options for a food counter so definitely worth a visit. Service was fast and it's pretty casual ambiance here. I'll be back again!

Yelp
So after I saw a reel Video of this place I wanted to try out the much hyped beef chao fun. All hyped , little substance. The portion is smaller than normal Chinese take out for 16.99 . The taste was average . I would give it a 4.9 out of 10. The beef was tender but over all it was a little greasy and salty for my taste . It should be only worth 11.99 instead of 16.99 . The wait for the food was over 20 minutes. I will definitely not return

Yelp
The soy sauce chicken was a letdown, might because just came back from Vancouver. The traffic around mills50 is uhh, and it's a fast-food-style spot with a high price. Waiting 30 minutes in line was disappointing when the chicken turned out to be cold, bland, and a bit greasy

Yelp
Finally gave it a try since being recommended by a few people on IG. We ordered shrimp dumplings, xiumai, beef chowfun & rice box w/ bbq pork, charsiu & soy chicken. Dumplings & xiumai was just good enough to not complaint tbh. Beef chowfun. The portion came out pretty nice, great job on the wok; however, to my taste, it needs a bit of sweetness to balance everything. I do appreciate the noodles, very fresh. Rice box was saving the day. Just delicious!!! 100% come back for it. I liked bbq pork & charsiu better than soy chicken, will try the duck next time. Staff were friendly and nice!!!

Yelp
This new restaurant is in an old Asian supermarket that's been renovated to include 3 smaller food hall type restaurants. It is very warm with no air conditioning in there. A few tables and seating are available if you want to dine in. I only tried the appetisers and based on the three I ordered, they are not very impressive. The shrimp dumpling skin was very soft that when I tried to pick it up with my chopsticks it just broke off. Honestly there's nothing wow or different to getting a frozen bag from the supermarket and cooking it yourself. It took around 20 minutes to get this on a Saturday afternoon.

Yelp
This appears to be an attempt for three separate entities to share space with what would very loosely be called a grocery store, but in truth, and in fact is an eclectic environment for fast food served on takeout plastic. The barbecue was good, but the portions were myopic. I had the duck and pork entrée. It was not exceptional, but good. Unfortunately, I had to go home and have dinner. I truly believe for the same price I could've had plated service with silverware and certainly greater portions. Also the complete absence of any type diet drink was a negative. But, the person behind the counter, Elvis, was most accommodating and did arrange for a Diet Coke to be provided. He is definitely the diamond in the operation. I am a great fan of the multitude of small individual owned restaurants in the mills colonial area, and truly hope they find their niche and continue.
