Where To Eat Outside In Venice & Marina Del Rey Today

Stark’s Review - Marina Del Rey - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Taking over the shopping-center spot that used to be home to Jerry’s Famous Deli in Marina del Rey, Stark’s serves American fare in a space that’s approximately the size of the contiguous United States. Both the menu - featuring everything from deviled eggs and skillet corn cakes to Impossible burgers and California snapper - and the interior (which includes a cafe, a booze bar, a raw bar, a fireplace, a patio, and booths so large you can literally nap in them) could use an edit, but the cocktails are solid, the space is comfortable, and the corned-beef-and-Swiss sandwich (a holdover from the Jerry’s days) is a fitting tribute to the former tenant." - James Montgomery

This place had cool vibes. I have there like salmon sushi rolls which was really good. I also got the mango salmon salad which was very tasty and cooked to my liking. The service was okay that atmosphere was decent I love that they're late nights so I'll probably be back.

Google
Although the food was good, the service was lacking. Our server was not very attentive, probably due to two large parties arriving after we ordered. The wait for food wasn't too long. Tacos are not their specialty, but the enchiladas are good.

Went here for the first time last week for Cinco de Mayo, and it was a vibe. I love the glow-in-the-dark wall painting and the dimly lit, chill atmosphere. Food, drinks, and service were excellent. I will definitely be back, especially for the pineapple margaritas 🍹

Google
The service started out good but quickly declined. Our server spilled drinks on two people in our party (it happens) but offered no remedy for his mistake. One of our friends was soaked and we had to ask for towels. The food was mediocre.. we could tell the sauces were canned. After the spilled drink incident the server must’ve been nervous because he rarely checked on our table. The manager never came by to check on the table or apologize for the incident. BTW it wasn’t busy and he could’ve easily stopped by. I used to be a restaurant manager and you’re supposed to touch every table to ensure guest satisfaction but instead he was chatting with the host the entire time. Finally, the server brings the bill and there is no discount or comp for spilling drinks on us. We ask the server for some remedy and the manager again never came over but discounted $10 on a $420 bill that included gratuity. There are more authentic places, especially in LA with better service and better management. Avoid them.

Google
Kalaveras in Marina Del Rey offers a big selection of food, with plenty of options to choose from. The tacos were a bit small and just okay for the price, but the overall experience was good. The service started out amazing, but towards the end, we didn’t see our waiter for almost 20 minutes at a time, which was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, their Monday margaritas were fantastic. The location is convenient, close to the MDR hotel and many shopping areas. All in all, it was a good spot, but the service could have been more consistent.

Google
Chain restaurant with a kitschy Mexican flair. The dining room is dark large and open that is split in two by the central bar area. Lot's of neon, and bright decor surrounding the darkness of the space. We came in for the Taco Tuesday lunch. It's a great deal, and at this particular location, you tell the server that you want the Taco Tuesday deal, and they will give you 'coupons' that you take over to the taco bar. I think the barbacoa was the best of the three protein choices. Overall, for me the lunch deal was the best part of the dining experience.

Google
When me and my family arrived we were a bit confused if we had to wait for the host to seat us or if we just pick our seats because I did not see any host. Saw a couple employees chatting and so we asked and they sat us down. The place was pretty empty when we came during dinner time. Not sure if it was slow or if that is how it is most of the time. We tried the wet burrito, some of their nachos, enchiladas, and a couple drinks. Service was okay, our waitress was kind. Food came out pretty quick, which was nice but unfortunately the food was cold. The wet burrito and plate were hot on the outside but cold on the inside. Enchiladas were okay but the chicken was kind of cold as well.Nachos were not worth the price, very little meat on them. Margarita flight was a cool little experience but it's also a bit pricey because they were small. Overall I did not enjoy my experience here. It gives off a club vibe and the restaurant looks cool but the food was not it.

Google
Great location in Marina Del Rey, spacious dining area atmosphere reminds me of something you would see in Miami. Food was ok, happy Hour menu was large and the margaritas were delicious. If you are looking for a quick bite and want something fast with nice drinks check this place out.

Yelp
Thank you much for your service!! First time coming here and i felt in love with the vibe my waitress Adriana she is the best and made my night. The food and the drinks are 100 the vibe is the best, so lit just a perfect get to eat and have a good time

Yelp
Just want to say thank you to Adriana for the A1 service, food was good, drinks were good, everything was perfect. Service was great. Definitely going to come back again!

Yelp
Amazing time Christian was a great server very enjoyable conversation came to check on on us every few minutes gave great recommendations. Would definitely recommend him as a server

Yelp
I'm actually disturbed by how delicious the tacos Gobernador were! The crazy part is I removed the cheese and the chipotle sauce, yet they were immaculate...it's puzzling honestly. These weren't on the happy hour or taco Tuesday menu, but I will be back (despite it being twenty two dollars for three tacos...well worth it) I also ordered one salmon taco, which was okay. I was so happy with the shrimp tacos that I honestly didn't pay any attention to the salmon one, so it's probably not a fair assessment. The vibe inside feels very much like a Mexican arcade--lots of colors, lights and excitement. The service was great as well, and the waitress kept checking on us, even after we finished our food and stayed for hours talking lol

Yelp
Reservation was at 7:30. Most of us didn't get our food until 9-9:30. Extremely unprofessional, I won't be back. I'm done

Yelp
I've patronized several different Kalaveras. Five to be exact. I've only been to them for their taco Tuesday. The one in Rancho Cucamonga has the best layout and tastiest food. The presentation at this location looks nice, and they have a variety of salsas and toppings. I found the meats to be flavorless, and it would've been great if there was a little more seasoning. The asada had too much fat. My friend and I picked over it. I've seen other locations have cotija cheese, marinated cucumbers, and chicharron. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I just wasn't impressed with the food.
google avatar

Jordon C.

Yelp
These tiny tacos have a magnitude of flavor! Taco Tuesday is something to taco bout. $1.49 each. Best of all, they have so many absolutely delicious meats and salsas to share atop their delicate and scrumptious tortillas! I recommend their carnitas, lengua, and barbacoa. The asada left something to be desired. The habanero salsa is perfect if you have a spicy tongue, but they do offer others if you're not a fan (or would need a fan, because it is genuinely hot). A bit strange that the lighting is purple. It makes the food look unappealing, yet the dishes were very much a-peel-ing, like their fresh lemon slices. Overly sweetened flight of margaritas. Flavors were great though - guava, cucumber, hibiscus, etc. Just too sweet to drink, but on that note, the staff were just as sweet! See you next Tuesday - and not in the rude sense of that saying!

Yelp
We went for lunch and it was a light crowd with average service. The cocktail seemed to be missing the liquor and the food was just okay. I prefer Sharkey's down the way for freshness, flavor and variety.

Yelp
I was on my way to get gas & I saw the sign for taco Tuesday, and thought why not. Great price on street tacos! I got pollo & papas tacos with a Modelo. Service is simple. I ate at the bar. Niko at the bar was chill. This is great spot to bring friends, catch up on life and enjoy some tacos.

Yelp
I cannot believe I've driven past this place so many times over the years and just now trying it. The food was good, the happy hour is WORTH IT. My waitress was a little slow but that strong Adios I consumed bought her some time and my patience. There is so much space, tons of sitting and parking. YES YES YES. Give this place a try. Don't order the cheesecake. It's gross. It tastes spoiled
google avatar

Yelp
This is a great place to go for happy hour. Eight dollar margaritas! Super amount of flavors and it's not blended! I had the guava and my friend had the pineapple. The guava came with a Chamoy rim and the pineapple with pineapple. we like them so much we had seconds. For snacks, the starting chips and salsa were delicious. Especially we like that the salsa was puréed but not too much, there were a lot of chunks, and it had just the right amount of not much heat. Then we had the queso fundido, which came with chorizo and mushrooms and was absolutely fantastic. We also shared the three taco plate with shredded beef and birria dipping sauce. The price was quite reasonable on these items, too. The Service was very helpful, warm and friendly, and the place looked absolutely beautiful. It was our first time but we're looking forward to going back again soon and making this a regular happy hour stop .

Yelp
HORRIBLE SERVICE Been here multiple times with such high hopes and all 3 times we had to beg to get service. The food IS good though. But the lack of attention for such high entree prices is just not justified. Could be such a great spot but just straight up mismanaged. There was literally one lady serving 10 tables. No bueno! Also the decor is like 2007 vibes - lil cheesy.

Yelp
I've been to multiple Kalaveras locations and have always had great experiences. Yesterday, I had a bad experience. Me and my group decided to come here last minute as we were on the waitlist for another restaurant but ended up changing our minds. Once we got here, we were seated immediately and got chips right away. They did let us know last call was coming soon, I want to say they said 9:20pm but I wasn't sure. Anyway, we sat down and were pressured to order despite it still being around 8:40-9pm. Our server came by 3x within 7 minutes to ask if we were ready. Once we finally ordered, she didn't really come back. We got our food after a bit of a wait, which was fine. Once we got our food, our server checked in one us 1x. She never came back to inform us of last call or anything. Neither did anyone else. At one point, I started raising my hand and no one saw and if they saw, they ignored. After about 5 minutes, I put my hand down. I later raised it again, still no one. We gave up on trying to order again. It took forever for our server to come back too to check in or see if we needed the check or boxes. Of course once we told her we needed the check, she was fast. Overall, I won't come back to this location. Sure the food is good, but the service was terrible. Super inattentive.

Yelp
Went for the first time not so long ago and was pleasantly surprised by the albóndigas! A little heat, very tasty, hearty just wonderful! The guacamole was good as well! The staff are very professional and attentive

Yelp
On a crowded taco Tuesday, which happened to be my birthday, me and my large party were able to be accommodated in a seemingly private area in a timely manner, and I appreciated that very much. Especially considering they don't do reservations on Tuesday's. The server was very kind and helpful. The service was fairly quick, and the food and drinks were good. Special deals on tacos for taco Tuesday and happy hour weekly from 3-7pm I liked the strawberry margarita and their adios. Their birria tacos and tacos are good. Thank you!

Yelp
Came here for happy hour . I love the decor and music . Drinks were delicious but could have used an extra shot or two , I could not taste any alcohol . I did the taco Tuesday special $1 tacos . You pre-order than once your given a receipt you go to the buffet line and get your tacos . - you have a choice of Al pastor , carnitas , carna asada , chicken , barbacoa, and potato. Service was decent . Bathrooms were clean only thing I didn't care for was they started cleaning the vents over the buffet which I thought was strange and unsanitary! Lots of great pic opportunities! It does get loud and stays busy so get there early or you might be waiting for a table for awhile or you will stand around . Large parking lot . Fun place !!!

Yelp
Highly appreciated the best service and hospitality thank you Adriana for everything Highly recommended! 5 star vibes

Yelp
Dang for real $1.50 tacos? Bro. In LA. It's true it's true. It's like a taco buffet where you order how many you want and then you add toppings. I got the basics, asada, barbacoa, chicken, and carnitas. Awesome. They're small so you can try all of them there's eight flavors I think. Two vegan blech. But a nice way to celebrate by myself since I happened to have two huge interviews today. Chips and salsa were alright but those tacos. They fry the tortilla too. This place is both popular and authentic which is rare. Good service and prompt seating. Don't be intimidated by the wait time it's probably not that long. I used to be a hostess and it's better to err on too long of an estimate but I got seated in like 10-15min.

Yelp
3rd Star for the SERVICE- Here is my story. I've watched establishments come and go in the space now occupied by Kalaveras in the MdR. The space is large. The decor while "neon" bright in certain areas seem rather dim. But, there is light enough to see the menu and food. The menu is your "A" typical Mex-Tex list as with the mocktails and the cocktails. I ordered their lunch special which was some type of burrito which had french fries wrapped in it with the carne asada. Well, the carne asada tasted good but I should have studied the menu more carefully as I could have done without the fries. Oh well... Live, eat and learn! We ordered the guacamole and chips and YUP. I LOVED the guacamole which by the way is made FRESH on order. They have weekend brunch. They have Taco Tuesday, They have Thirsty Thursday so if you're going to stop in, check their website for anything they may have going. Might go back as I'm usually in the MdR area before or after I arrive at LAX.

Yelp
Checked out Kalaveras on their Taco Tuesday night, what's better than affordable tacos on a Tuesday! We didn't expect it to be a taco buffet bar, which was such a great surprise. The tortillas tasted fresh and were heated up before being stuffed with one of at least 8 different options. Then top off with a selection of veggies and salsas. The birria was definitely the stand out, but all the different meats were delicious. Being Taco Tuesday night, and we went on National Taco Day, it was a little busy. They said about 25 minutes, but it took less than 15 which was great. While we waited we sat in their outdoor patio. The only reason I took a star away is because the table we sat at felt like it was an odd table in the lobby. It was the only one on the other side of a pillar from the rest of the dining area. Also, the AC was blasting down on this table, which since it was kind of in the lobby, makes sense it would have vents there. The vent was evening dripping on one of the chairs. Overall would definitely go back for Taco Tuesday night, but hope would get to sit at a better table.

Yelp
Wow! They had the best meat nachos we've ever had! The barbacoa was tender and juicy, it was super cheesy with guac. However, the strangest thing, no sour cream!? So we ordered a side of it. Anyhow, the dish was plentiful for the wife and I. The atmosphere was a vibe, kinda like a club and a sports bar with club lights and music. Pretty cool. They also have an area where you could take photos or selfies with a creative, colorful background. The ladies love it.
google avatar

Richard L.

Yelp
I've been to Kalaveras twice lately and what I've been going for is the tacos which are quite tasty. The best part is when they have the tacos being cooked. You can do your own toppings which include avocado sauce. A couple sauces pickledonions and coleslaw. I'm not sure if they have this other days but I've always came on Tuesdays . My favorite are the Carnitas tacos. I wasn't as thrilled with the meat for the Carne Asada because it had gristle in it. Bottom line is I'll be back.
google avatar

Colleen R.

Yelp
Good vibes, good food, and good music! What more can you ask for. Kalaveras is a fun spot for any event including birthdays, happy hour, and get togethers! They have friendly staff and a very extensive menu with an array of options. If you are in need of a drink, they do have a full bar as well. To eat, I usually have the shrimp enchiladas with rice and beans - so good! I crave that specific dish all the time lol.

Kay K.

Yelp
The service was bad. The food was cold and items were not as good as they Long Beach or Silverlake location. The Ambiance is boring and the restauarant is not lit up and fun like the other locations. Staff seem to be in another world. Nobody seemed to have energy for their job. It was a disappointment considering we went for a birthday in Marina Del Rey. The drink I got was pretty.
google avatar

Yelp
First time here and I gotta say it was a great experience. Walking in the environment is great they got Spanish music playing with music videos on the tvs they got some blue lighting or something but it makes the designs they have painted pop out more. They also have a nice bar section. The service was quick in the beginning we got seated right away and started our order with the margarita flight which comes with four little cups the flavors are guava which was my favorite, mango, cucumber, and Jamaica all were incredible amazing flavor. For the food we ordered the ceviche which was good not the best I've had but it had lots of shrimp so made up for it we also ordered two asada tacos and the tacos gobernador. The asada tacos were good but the tacos gobernador were my favorite out of everything we picked it came with 3 tacos filled with shrimp pepper jack mango avocado and side of pickled onions, chipotle and pickled carrots. Overall for my first time my experience was great the price not so much but I kinda get it seafood usually expensive. Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Price 6/10

Yelp
We came to enjoy their Sunday brunch. We got prompt seating, table was clean, bathrooms were tiddy and the service was great with prompt pickup of our dishes. Our waiter Juanito was friendly and on point with our mimosa refills. The baristas at the buffet were great and made the most delicious omelet and pasta. I ate bacon, sausage, chicken soup, shrimp cocktail alllll were so yummy. Definitely one of the better locations. Ill most likely come back.
google avatar

Yelp
My first time going after recommendation from a friend. Went for a friend's birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the buffet brunch. It had everything you could want: all the Mexican food staples, but also a waffle station, fruit station, and a taco station. My favorite was the chilaquiles bar where they made them to order based on your customization, in front of you & cooked your egg just how you like it to go on top. Various salsas, amazing. Fun ambiance, cute for photo opps. Great food, service, and experience for only $40. Perfect for groups. FREE PARKING.

Yelp
Loved it. We had the taquitos half chicken/potatoes and the red sauce chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. My strawberry margarita was delicious and the chips and salas were fire. Our server was great I don't remember her name long black hair who worked last Saturday 11/23 around 3:15. The atmosphere was perfect since it was the early afternoon but definitely want to try this place again.

Yelp
I came to on a Friday. It was Valentine's Day, and it was very nice. Food was great that sushi with the jalapeño and the salmon was fine. The service was bomb. The drinks was bomb. The ambience was Avi Hopper. I will be back for brunch on Sunday. I have the wet burrito with steak and shrimp. It was really good. You got to pictures.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday. $1 Tacos. More on the tacos later. First - parking. Don't know the shopping plaza's name but it was packed. I didn't just pull into a spot - maybe it was all the holiday shoppers but I wouldn't say I had to do laps hoping and praying for a spot to open up. Walked in. Greeted by a host and had a choice of seating. The bar. In the bar area with a big screen TV. Or the dining area. Another dining area was closed off for what looked to be a private party. Service was great to begin with. It was when the private party kicked into gear that service began to wane a bit. Almost got to the point of annoyance but gladly management stepped up and stepped in. I say management because the person who helped us wasn't wearing a uniform and was both apologetic and helpful. As for the food - can't go wrong with $1 Tacos. Little on the dry side for my liking. A little more seasoning too. DIY condiments. Wished the salsas had a little more kick in the "heat" department but on that topic, I'm a broken record. Hard to find something hot when I eat fire for fun. Question - would I come back. It's a coin flip for me. Both of my experiences weren't bad, but not mind blowing either. So, yes but probably because someone picked the spot to meet up at.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
Came here for margaritas and was not disappointed. Also enjoyed the taquitos. While light, they provided an adequate snack. It was a slower money, but that was to be expected as it was slight after 3 pm. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Would come back! Check the video for ambiance!

Yelp
Me and my family came here for an early dinner on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't too crowded and we got seated immediately. Kalaveras gives me that upscale sports bar vibe. There's a big tv screen featuring sports and music videos. As soon as you enter, you see the bar and a little neon lit angel wing wall off to the side for your social media snaps. The food was tasty. I ordered the enchilada verde, empanadas, and a modelo michelada. One thing that bothered me was the empanadas weren't fully baked and had a spot on the surface that was raw. We ordered this as an appetizer but did not receive it until our main dishes came because they said they it took several minutes to defrost. I didn't want to create a big fuss so I just cut around the raw dough part and ate the rest. The enchilada verde was good. The sauce was a bit tart. I didn't mind it since I love tart flavors. The chicken filling was well stuffed and it came with rice and beans. The modelo michelada was probably the best I've had at any restaurant. Spicy, savory, Clamato taste with that modelo flavor in the background and with a chimoy and tajin rim- it was the perfect michelada in my opinion. The staff were friendly but hard to grab their attention when you needed something. I ordered a water from another waitress because ours was out of sight and I didn't receive my water until the end of our service from our assigned waitress. When it comes to customers asking for water, it should be served by any waiter/waitress that's on the floor, not just the one that is assigned to your table. Pricing is moderate here $$. They have a happy hour here Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 6pm and a Sunday Brunch from 11am that I am looking forward to trying out.
google avatar

Francesca J.

Yelp
I had a family member visiting who asked to have tacos for lunch. I searched for best tacos and Kalaveras was one of the restaurants that came up. I wanted a place that also had ambiance. Kalaveras was the perfect selection. The service was great. The lunch special for tacos was perfect, 2 tacos with rice and beans or a salad. She had rice and beans, I had the salad. Everything was quite delicious. And the price was even better. I will definitely return for lunch soon.
google avatar

Niecy S.

Yelp
We went during happy hour (3-7pm) every thing on the menu was 8$ except the watermelon slushy was 10$. They were playing music and videos on the tv. It was crowded we got their at 4 and stayed until almost 6. The waiter was polite and attentive refilling our drinks before we even asked and answered our questions with no hesitation. The Slushy was amazing with the perfect amount of alcohol ( you definitely can feel it ) . We all agreed our food was yummy. Wish there was more seafood options on the happy hour menu but definitely doesn't take away from our great experience. The bathrooms were fresh and clean. There is also a outside patio and great for large groups. Definitely going back.

Yelp
Came here with my friends for a bottomless Saturday brunch! We sat inside and it was pretty empty until later lunch. Almost all of us got the bottomless mimosas for only $20 which is a killer deal. The mimosas were good and our waiter was pretty good at filling them up, but once it started getting busy we did start to be forgotten. We had hopped to have more by the time our check came, as it wasn't as bottomless as we had hoped but also realize it's hard for them to check on us when there are more people. For the food we all tried different meals. I got the breakfast burrito with sausage which was pretty good. The outside cheese layer was yummy but really greasy and hard to eat with my hands. I liked that it came with fruit. The pieces of eggs and potatoes and sausage were pretty large and fell out a lot, may have been easier to eat if they were chopped smaller so they wouldn't tumble out of the burrito. My friends got the breakfast tacos which they liked but there wasn't any potato in either of them which were supposed to be there. The food was pretty good for the price, but my friends were disappointed by the tacos as it didn't come with everything listed. Our waiter was friendly and the food service was quick. Only had wish we could have more mimosas before our time was up! We want to come back!

Yelp
Quality has been on a decline at this place since it opened. My gf ordered the Barbacoa plate and it came out cold. would recommend the pico location over this one.
google avatar

Mher M.

Yelp
They have buffet brunch on Sundays with bottomless mimosas. There was plenty of food to choose from. One lady was in the middle of the buffet area and said "I'm lost" - LOL! I think that's how everybody felt at first when deciding which table to go to. If you're on a diet, don't go here! They have a chocolate fountain and all kinds of desserts - yum! One caveat: lighting is a little dark during the day, it must be more difficult to see inside at night.

Yelp
This was our first visit to Kalaveras, and we were thoroughly impressed. Our server, Jose, provided exceptional customer service and was very attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. I enjoyed a wet carne asada burrito, while my wife had three asada tacos. We both had strawberry margaritas, and they were fantastic. We will definitely return! This is what was left over of this burrito

Went to Kalaveras to watch Game 5 of the 2024 World Series between the Yankees and Dodgers on a Wednesday night. They had an excellent set up on a larger screen to watch it. I don't know if I would technically call it a sports bar per se, as there are not a plethora of TVs to take in a game, but there's enough, and they are curated well enough where you can see sporting events relatively easily wherever you're sitting in the restaurant. Speaking of said restaurant, it is very spacious. There's a patio as well if you're tired of being cooped inside all day. I haven't been, nor do I know if they offer it, but the area lends itself to dancing & parties if they were open to it. As a matter of fact, there was a birthday party taking place at the same time as the game. The food was good. Very flavorful. I enjoyed the taquitos dorados in chicken and potato. They came with a sauce that had some kick. I also had an Guavaberra drink, which essentially was whisky and guava, which I'd rate at probably a 6/10 and an Adios, which was a crazy concoction of various different spirits that I'd rate at probably the same. The drinks were good but nothing I'd speak at length about. The service was great. Other than my server doubting a Dodgers victory based on the theory they'd want to win in LA, she was attentive, nice and helped me sound out certain words in Spanish vernacular that I didn't know how to say so she was a sweetheart. I would definitely come here again to have a party or grab something to eat but not particularly to just watch sporting events. The crowd doesn't lend itself to that but overall, congratulations to the Dodgers and if you're in the area, check this place out!

Yelp
Adriana was awesome. Wonderful service and very attentive! There's plenty places to sit and I love the fact that there are a lot of TVs around for watching DODGERS!

Yelp
Heard about the Taco Tuesday at Kalaveras so ai had to check it out. The tacos were cafeteria style and $1 a piece. There are 6 different protein toppings to choose from along with additional toppings to dress your tacos up. We missed the happy hour so the margaritas were $8. They were more sweet than strong but they were refreshing so I have no complaints. The service was quick and efficient even in the rush of $1tacos and cheap drinks. We had a long seating wait but once we sat down the service was rolling.

Yelp
The servers are nice but not all that attentive. Like I had to flag down someone for chips and salsa. My drink was basic and came out that. I ordered a plain margarita and there was no wow factor. Came out way after my food. As for my food, I got the Dragon Roll and ordered empanadas. The roll was delicious and filling so I really didn't eat the empanadas but the salsa served with it was good. This is a place to take photos for the gram and celebrate birthdays. Not really a date night spot because the music is very loud.

Yelp
1st time coming here. Went for brunch. Had the chilaquiles w/ carnitas. Food was semi cold and the carnitas were kinda dry. Not spicy at all. Loved the mango michelada though. I know this place is known for their drinks so if I ever go back will probably be for just drinks and appetizers. Service was okay. Chill place looks pretty cool inside.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place more. Super convenient location. The ambience and setting are cool and hip. The service was good. The food, unfortunately, was just okay. Overall, just too many sauces and lots of conflicting flavors that don't work great together. I had the nachos and the wet burrito. I would rate both a 3, but probably liked the nachos a bit more.
