Kale Me Crazy

Ordered an overpriced small $22 Salmon avocado wrap. So dry inside the wrap. Barely had any Salmon in it. Couldn’t find the avocado. Most of my bites consist of lettuce and Quinoa. Waste of money. Would never buy from there again.

food is expensive. service is not good- me and wife came here and i ordered her a 17$ wrap,,,,, then the cashier took the person after us order, then proceeded to go and make their order first and give it to them, then make ours.

Omg!, this healthy restaurant has a public health score of 78! 🤢It’s posted on a side wall so I didn’t see it until I was leaving. Food was okay, I have eaten at other locations that were much better.

20 minutes for a smoothie seems excessive. Health score of 78. The staff was more interested in talking with their friends who were in there than helping us.

I come here and the Virginia Highlands location frequently. I ordered two smoothies at the vi-hi location because I was on my way to the hospital with my mom. The smoothies tasted awful like nothing like the description. When I asked for assistance they said because I purchased them at a different store they could do anything. I have worked in CS for much of my life. That’s not how to keep customers. I will take my money elsewhere.

I love the kale me crazy franchise. I have ordered from 3 of the Atlanta locations: West Village, North Druid Hills, and Decatur. Neither of these locations disappointed me. The Recovery, Go Getter and Tropical Tripping smoothies are my top 3.

Why have coffee at a regular coffee shop when you can have amazing unique organic coffees, iced or hot at Kale Me Crazy!

So I go in this morning , the young lady appeared with no greeting , just asked what would I like , when I was explaining she made it seem as if I was bothering her and then the order comes out and she just hands me the bowl no bag , I had to ask and she didn’t bag it she just put it on the counter … never have I ever had this happen.. maybe she was having a rough morning but always show up and show out in customer service… the experience was a FLOP!!

Great place to get a protein smoothie pre or post workout. They have tonne of lunch options too. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This location is within the Toco hills plaza and cannot be seen from regular traffic. They have ample of parking space here.

I love KMC, so much that I'm writing a second review on this particular location. I visited on a Thursday morning and actually didn't plan on coming here at all. I stopped in at the coffee shop next door and had planned to work from there for a while until I didn't see any outlets. So I got out of line and scoped out KMC and alas, an outlet. I've only ever had the juices for purposes of cleaning and almost grabbed one of the juices on this visit, but I glanced at the specialty drinks and went for Matcha Latte. The girl behind the counter suggested the Matcha Rose Latte, so I decided to get that instead! I sure am glad I did. It was good! As for my working experience, it was amazing. The music was on point and it was just a lovely ambiance.

I arrived at 9am this morning when the store just opened. I was greeted immediately by the staff. Ordered the warrior on the smoothie menu - it's a lot sweeter than I expected. Later I checked the nutrition menu and realized that it contains quite a bit of sugar. Should have checked before I ordered! But the drink itself tasted awesome, and the ambience was good. Service was quick and staff was friendly.

I love a good smoothie when it is hot outside. I got the tropical one which didn't contain any almond milk or nut products. The straw is not plastic it says it's made of chlorella and is compostable. The smoothie was not too sweet. Tastes like all the fruits. Prices seem fair.

The açaí bowls are what bring me here. Absolutely delicious. They are fast and friendly.

I came in today and got a Power House smoothie without cashews and it was just okay. I would like to try another item on the menu because this place is super cute. You can add and subtract things from smoothies which was really cool. I'll be back

Visited Toco Hills Town Center and needed a quick "pick me up" and found this cute spot. They had a couple drink options, but this one stuck out because of the maple syrup and cinnamon! The good: it was DELICIOUS and I'm not weighed down. The bad: I finished it in 3 sips. The cup was basically full of ice. Womp womp. Maybe I'll visit again and get some food and try another drink!

Can't leave Kale Me Crazy without my Wellness and Painkiller shots. These are are must during cold and flu season. Hope the Toco location brings the immunity booster pack back!

I went to Kale Me Crazy to buy a salad and spent close to $20. I like their salads, so I was a returning customer. When I received my order, I noticed the salad dressing portion was quite small for the size salad given, so I asked for one extra dressing. They said, we'll have to charge you $1.08 for it and proceeded to ring it up on the register. My response was, but I spend nearly $20 for this salad and the amount of dressing you've given me isn't enough for the portion. The guy's response was, "Take it up with management." Needless to say, I just took my salad and left. I really think that could have been handled better. To request I go to management over a salad dressing is silly. I won't be returning there.

It was pure & fresh. Made with frozen fruits . It was okay , not what I accepted. I will come back to try an bowl

Okay, so I am very happy that before I wrote this review I decided to visit a second time to try different items on their menu. Kale me Crazy is just a tad bit over rated BUT it is a quick, simple and easy healthy meal to grab for lunch. The first time I went I had a half smoked salmon salad and half kale Caesar salad along with a vegan wrap. Now the salads were great. I was not expecting the salmon to be pretty much raw but I still enjoyed it. The vegan wrap was very basic and I could've made something better at home but I did enjoy it with the sauce they provided. Now my second time coming I decided to try the chicken wrap on grilled whole wheat and had avocado added... this wrap was AMAZING. The flavor hit me so hard I literally almost moaned out loud in straight food satisfaction! Definitely can't wait to go back and try out some smoothies and other wraps.

I'm a big fan of Kale My Crazy for lunch! The turkey wrap is awesome, I'm usually not a huge turkey fan but their's is so flavorful. The only thing I'd note is things aren't always consistent. On one visit my wrap will be nice and neat and the next it will be not wrapped at all and a bit messy. I recently ordered a combo and didn't want onion on the salad but wanted pickled onions on the wrap (which I specified) and the wrap was missing the pickled onions. The time before the wrap was missing the hummus. But still, the wrap is just so flavorful. I am also a big fan of their lattes. They are made with cinnamon, cocoa, and maple syrup, and they are super tasty. The Greek salad is also great and full of tasty things like chick peas, peppers, and feta cheese. The price point is high, for a half wrap, half salad and coffee it was $19. This side of Cameron Village can be a bit tricky to park in, but if you do a loop or two you can find a spot as long as it is not the holidays.

This place had a intimate, yet clean and bright interior. It's the kind of place you get smoothies or food to go. The lady who took my order was helpful and pointed out a few good options. I landed on pink splash and added a protien in -hemp seed. I also got a shot of turmeric, lemon, and honey. Both items were yummy. I'd say the price was a tad steep, but not bad for a treat every now and then. It matches the pricing of the area. I wouldn't mind coming back a second time to try one of their other menu items.

Little juice/smoothie/food place in Cameron village, down the ways from the Village tavern. The shop is clean and very bright, with a good amount of seating for the shop size. I ordered the recharge smoothie ($9) and it was delicious! Prices are reasonable, of course you pay for what you get (in this case yummy, healthy smoothies). The service was a little weird. The employees seemed new or disconnected, I'm not sure, but no biggie. I will be back to try açaí bowls/poke bowls/wraps!

The Kale will make you Crazy! Seriously some of the best smoothies I have ever had. My friend gave me a gift card which led me to trying for the first time. These are fresh, think and healthy! There is seating inside if you would like to stay and enjoy or take to go. I've never been when they are truly busy so things go pretty quick. It's hip and trendy! I recommend the Power House ($10) and so worth it.

I love it here! The service is always very nice and efficient, along with friendly. I would not consider getting my açaí bowls anywhere else! They rock!!!

Love how this shop doesn't use extra sugar in the smoothies!! I ordered the super matcha ($8), so good it has green tea, bananas, blueberries, spinach, chia, agave, and almond milk. It tasted so organic (especially without all that added sugar)! I mainly tasted the banana and green tea which is a great mix of you ask me. The staff was very friendly and informative. There is a bar you can sit at and tables inside. They also sell acai bowls, poke, salads, wraps, and wellness shots. Parking is a pain when you go to Cameron village. The only complaint I have about this place.

I was doing a Doordash order(s) today around noon/one. I just want to say the level of disrespect I received was beyond me. I am assuming since I looked different I came off as incompetent or stupid ... The cashier/associate talked down when picking up the order as if I could not tell the difference between a C and T... I would give it a zero for customer service because on top of getting a lesson on my ABC's (as a senior in college) I was then ignored and the last to leave even after others came in mins after. After stopping herself to pack the orders she acknowledged two other gentlemen and gave them their orders with no hesitation. I have never in my life dealt with someone like this in customer service. Despite me doing Doordash it was uncalled for and an assumption on my level of knowledge as well as appearance. I left speechless because I was unaware of what was going on. I ended up having a mini attack as if I was in the wrong and I did nothing. I will let DoorDash know as well, but enjoy this information. RALEIGH LOCATION

This was my first visit to kale me crazy and I must say I'm very impressed from the customer service and knowledge of the staff to the amazing taste of my very first poke bowl. The way the food danced with my taste buds I can I will be back, yes danced you needed the visual of how how amazing my first experience was. You should really try it the smoothies are also fresh which is amazing it's not full of sugar ontop of healthy ingredients that simply defeat the whole point of a healthy smoothie. I cant wait to try something new i even grab a to go menu to help me with my choices.

I've been here once and it was pretty good but not super impressive. 1) The portions are HUGE!!! I was only able to finish about half of my meal. 2) I got a spinach and arugula salad with shredded beets, walnuts, cucumbers, sunflower seeds, and hemp seeds. It was good but definitely something I could have made myself. Looking back, I'm not sure why I ordered this because it was a very simple salad. The shredded beets were cool though. 3) My mom ordered the poke bowl and enjoyed it. She said that the tuna was excellent - not too fishy tasting. She also really liked the vegan mayonnaise sauce. 4) Prices were a bit steep, but I guess this is something to expect for healthy food. 5) Presentation is great. Very clean and aesthetic looking. Staff is very friendly and helpful, as well, and the food came out very quickly. Not sure if I'll be back, but if I do, I'll definitely order something different. I think I definitely made a mistake ordering something too basic. Their other salads definitely look better, as do their smoothies/juices.

I am giving this store a one star because of Fabiola's POOR customer service. My sister and I are from out of town and purchased 3 smoothies and a poke bowl. It was our first time visiting. My sister didn't like her smoothie so she asked to exchange it. Fabiola gave her such a hard time like she wanted to steal. She asked her for the other smoothie back as if she wanted to keep it during a pandemic. She started to lie about the stores policies of taking back food during a pandemic. She needs a lot of training! She started to speak Spanish like I didn't understand her. The young man at the front desk apologized for her. She can learn from him and she shouldn't be left in charge when the owners aren't around.

I'm a first timer and I could honestly say this spot was pretty good! I got the Chicken Caesar Wrap with grilled chicken, kale, tomatoes, parmesan, and caesar dressing wrapped in a spinach tortilla. The wrap was a decent size! I also go a side Caesar salad (I'm in love with Caesar, if you can't tell). Both were amazing! The Toco Hills location was super clean and efficient. Due to all the changes with COVID-19, I expected to see the employees in the back with masks on. For some reason only the young lady at the register had one on. Outside of that my first time was great! I enjoyed my lunch and can say I'll definitely be a returning customer.

This was my first visit; and I didn't know what to expect. I have several food allergies, which make it a difficult task to dine out. I knew that I wanted something clean,fresh,and appetizing. Someone reccomended this place, to my husband,and he thought that it couldn't hurt to try it. Since it was a beautiful day to be out,we choose the Cameron Village location . After walking around,we found it tucked at the end of some quaint shops. It was a really small space; I'm glad that we came after lunch,when it wasn't busy. The board on the wall showed all of the smoothies, raw juice shots, salads, bowels, wraps,ext... I was not sure what to choose,so I asked for help. Due to my allergies,I had to be careful. I decided to get the acai bowel. I didn't know what that even was,but I was open to trying it. I really was surprised that something so healthy could be so enjoyable to eat. It was more of a dessert than a meal. It filled me up and satisfied all of my senses. I will try something different next time,but I really liked what I ordered. Definitely give it a shot! I cant wait to try their smoothies!

I am miffed I just discovered this place! Kale Me Crazy is an excellent choice for satisfying any thirst or hunger pains in the healthiest way. My mom and I each got a smoothie. They came out perfect- not extra sweet like most everywhere else, real ingredients with an edge for health (like oats, avocado, matcha powder, chia seeds, maca to name a few), and very tasty. Both almond milk and coconut yogurt are some options for the folks who limit their dairy. The store also offers juices, tea, coffee, shots (think ginger turmeric and honey ahh!) and a range of grub that all sounded good and I'll definitely come back for: acai bowls, toasts (salmon toast oooooo!), salads, wraps (chicken pesto, anyone?), poke bowl, and light snacks for take away. They cater too.. not that I'm likely to be in that situation but maybe you will!

Not happy because they advertise gluten free on the board and when I asked to double check, the lady went back to ask and came back to me saying it's not gluten free. That is not safe for people with celiac or gluten sensitivity. I have eaten this many times thinking it was gluten free since it says it is. False advertisement and is not safe. That is not okay.

Love their smoothies here! Perfect for a quick snack after a workout at flywheel I love the recovery and refresh smoothies!

Kale me crazy is a welcome healthy addition to Cameron Village! I grabbed a poke bowl after my manicure this week and was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu. The bowl itself was good, not great. But it was fresh and healthy and quick when you need a fast dinner that is healthy! The staff was quick and friendly, I will be back!

I come here all the time and literally get the same thing. Deluxe Açaí bowl. I know the cost etc. so a younger girl brings out the regular bowl. I informed her that isn't what I ordered. Then she basically tried to tell me what I ordered and paid for. I had to pull up my bank account to show the employee I paid for a deluxe which was a $2 difference. Then all they did was went to the back added toppings that were missing. I didn't feel like going back so I dealt with it. But This isn't okay because of allergens. What if I was allergic to the different ingredients between to the two? That could have been a serious problem. I'm still going to give this location a good review because I've never had issues until today but this needed to be known. I should never have to argue and go back and forth for what I paid for and then was told "oh we will fix it... you don't have to pay". GIRL I already paid for it ... no accountability was taken and I just wanted that to be known! Idk who was working on Sunday Oct 31st but they need to be held accountable. I love this location but I wasn't feeling the laziness and bad customer service today. It would have been fine if she would have just said I'm sorry we made a mistake instead it was "you didn't pay for that". I didn't like that at all.

Came here at around 3:30p on a Friday and it wasn't crowded at all. Someone greeted me right away and took my order to go. At first I thought it was just a smoothie place, but then I realized they had food options as well. I had to try the Salmon toast and see how it compared to the Nova Lox that I've had at Bruegger's and Einstein Bros. The radish slices were an interesting addition that gave the toast a nice crunch and nice color presentation. I really liked the dill leaf garnishing which just brings all the flavors of the salmon, pickled red onion, and cream cheese together. Light spread of cream cheese on toasted whole grain (ezekiel) bread gave the overall experience a nice satisfying finish without the overstuffed feeling that I've had when the base carb was a bagel. With that in mind, I would say that the double, which is two slices, would be better if you wanted to make it more of a post-workout snack. But for a light mid-afternoon snack, it was perfect. The $15 for a double is definitely more of a splurge for the amount of salmon that you get. But for the quality of the overall flavor and presentation, it's a nice treat. Would recommend.

Yup, you can Kale Me Crazy any day of the week. I made my first stop here last week for a post sweat-sesh breakfast refuel and I am so happy to have this in the neighborhood! The recovery smoothie was exactly what I needed and I am in love with the Ezekiel salmon toast option. If you are looking for a healthy option that's loaded with fresh ingredients, service with a smile and a punch of protein - look no further. I didn't see it, but I hope they have a loyalty card soon!

I have visited the Cary location several times and was so happy to find out a location in Cameron Village had opened! I was able to pop in after my gym session on Saturday and was so happy to get my smoothie of choice, the Grounded! I think all will appreciate the quality of ingredients and selection of juices, smoothies, wellness shots and food. The location is great, parking is a breeze and zero guilt about food choices. I see myself frequenting this location often.

Kale Me Crazy is clean, fresh, + simplistic goodness. This refreshing healthier restaurant is refreshing among all the fast-food options. Whether you're on the go or meeting someone, if you want a flavorful and beneficial breakfast, lunch, juice, smoothie this is a great spot! I ordered the Poke Bowl. The flavor was great! It's about 450 calories but I left satisfied! I recommend the Tropical Trippin' smoothie for a quick meal replacement option (I prefer tangy over sweet smoothies). I do wish the price was a little more affordable. Expect to spend about $10-15 per item on menu. The options are various and you really can't go wrong with any order!

I truly enjoyed this delightful addition to Cameron Village! It's perfect for both the health conscious person on-the-go as well as those looking for a fun spot to grab organic coffee and a quick bite. The space is lively and the service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend the Painkiller shot and Pink Splash smoothie!

Great place in Cameron Village. Super clean and staff friendly. I popped in after buying glasses and was so pleasantly surprised to find such. Great place. So vegan friendly I love that! Also other options. Super fresh and delicious! Try it!

Normally have a good experience at this location and I do love kale me crazy and have been to various locations with usually good results but today was a real disappointment. I ordered a smoothie and waited and waited and waited. After realizing it seemed like I was waiting an abnormally long time and I heard no blenders going for at least 5 -10 mins or more...and watched employees chatting with each other and sipping on their own smoothies in the back I finally looked over to the girl who took my order as she had been chatting and sipping in the back as well and when I caught her eye she non chalantly grabbed a smoothie off a counter in the back and laid it on the counter in front of me without hardly saying anything like maybe 'sorry for the wait'... as I'm pretty sure she made it shortly after she took my order about 10 mins prior. Again no blenders had been running for easily about 5 mins + so this had been done and just sitting there. Seriously? Was I forgotten that quickly?? I could understand if they were busy but they were not. At all. It was quiet. I should have asked for a new one. So disappointed.

I ordered online and they were so busy I waited 30mins for my food. BUT it was worth the wait! I love the gluten free wrap options! Chicken pesto wrap was amazing and so were the acai bowls!!!! Def good food, prepare to wait as there are only 2 people on staff at a time.

So excited about the new location! I love the new space and customer service was top notch. The smoothie was so good and filled me up. I can't wait to go back so many options to choose from.

Update: The manager did get back to me a couple days after posting my review, willing to correct the situation. If I were local to Raleigh, I'd take them up in it and I appreciate the outreach.

Definitely a good restaurant with tasty selections. Prices are up there, but they are right along with other trendy spots like this. They DO offer military discount, so kudos to them for that.

My friend and I waited almost 40 minutes for 2 smoothie bowls! It also took them 30 minutes to produce 5 smoothies for other customers. Will not be coming back until the workers learn how to efficiently and quickly make a smoothie!

The juice is tasty, the food is delicious and the staff is wonderful! Loved the Waverly location, but SO glad to have this gem ITB!

Just passing through, so glad we tried this place for breakfast! The recharge smoothie is the best green smoothie I've ever had I also had the kale salad, which was like a Thai peanut salad. I loved that it didn't come with a ridiculous amount of dressing (like most places), keeping it healthy and so delicious! The owner was a really nice guy as well.

Very friendly courteous staff. Great place to grab healthy food or smoothie to go. Not a ton of choices, but everything I've tried has been good.

Finally..... Cameron Village has a juice shop that offers a much healthier alternative to the "Smoothie" joints around town. Jeff and his team focus on fresh, organic ingredients without all the sugar and preservatives that go into the standard juices and smoothies, while also featuring an array of healthy salads, bowls and wraps! A great addition to our community, where its main focus is to create healthy eating habits for its patrons!
