Kale Me Crazy Opens in Grant Park - Eater Atlanta

"Organic juice bar and health food chain Kale Me Crazy is now open in Grant Park, offering organic, fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, salads, and wraps. The Grant Park location is the seventh in-town shop since the first Kale Me Crazy opened in Inman Park five years ago." - Beth McKibben

Google
Kale Me Crazy has easily become one of my favorite spots. The Recovery smoothie is my go-to every single time — refreshing, delicious, and always hits the spot. I also love how convenient the location is. It’s right in the plaza next to my nail shop, my cleaners, and the Grant Park Market, so it’s the perfect stop during my errands. Clean, quick, and consistently good — you really can’t go wrong.

Google
Love the brand, but the menu is stagnant, and this franchise location was a painful experience not really representing the brand in a good way. Too bad there aren’t many options like this to fuel competition. No greeting No order of customers Did not bring food, forced to pick up at the counter when I’ve been waiting for 10 min Was served after of the person that came after me Dead pan expressions and minimal communication No one checking the front, new people kept coming in and just waiting around, some leave Food is good which makes it hard to share when a business falls short with the service. Too bad.

Google
I usually don't leave reviews, but my experience ordering from this particular Kale Me Crazy location today was not good. I ordered an Acai bowl and it was completely melted.

Ashley Sailor

Google
This location gives out extremely small portions of food compared to other KMC locations who give you a nice fulfilling amount for your $$$. Not to mention they have rude customer service. I ordered 3 tuna wraps for myself and my family and was highly dissatisfied with the food portions and bad customer service I received. This is not what a $14 wrap should look like. And I did not received the extra sriracha sauce as requested.

I stopped here on my way home after running few errands. Parking was quick and free. Once I decided on my meal, I sat on the lobby where there was plenty of seating and also shaded tables outside too. Once my food was made, I noticed the salad only came with one small salad dressing. So I asked the employee for an extra one, she then informed me its $1. I stated that to pay for an extra one was ridiculous for such a large salad that already cost $16.50. After constantly asking, she eventually gave me an extra one with no charge. Overall, the salad was great, the service was okay, and I'd visit again in the future.

Google
Employees see people walk in and don’t greet them. I’ve been to this location 4 times this week and at first I was like okay but literally every time I’ve come it’s been the same. They take forever to come out the back and take your order. Customer service is the worst at this location. I am not a person that does google reviews but this is ridiculous. This is a reflection of pisspoor leadership

Google
So disappointing. Ordered the kale salad. Half of the ingredients are missing. I asked for chicken on the salad and it was chopped deli meat. Just don’t bother. You would get a comparable salad at a fast food restaurant. The owners of this place need to visit a sweet green or chopt. I really wanted this to be good. If they improved their menu and ingredients we would try again.

One More Bite

Google
Best Açaí bowl I’ve had in Atlanta yet (having moved from LA recently I very much miss the cold pressed juice bars/raw foods cafes that are everywhere there). It’s got nice heft while well balanced with bananas, blueberries, goji berries, granola for crunch, and hemp seeds, chia seeds for healthy boosts while offering additional textural variety. Also love their Go Green cold pressed bottled juice with cucumber celery spinach kale and chard, and that they’re not afraid to offer a blend that is less sweet than the ones with more sugary fruits like apple and pineapple. Also, they have counter seating with power outlets underneath!

Yelp
Sooooo I thought I'd try this place out. Prices on the website are not the prices in the restaurant. Salads are big but one small dressing is absolutely absurd. And then the chicken. I got grilled chicken on my Greek salad and you cannot tell me that they grill the chicken themselves. That chicken came straight from a bag of grilled chicken in the refrigerated meat section at your local grocery store (see photo). This is a textbook case of paying for convenience. Do better. Service was good though. Not worth the price of the food but good nonetheless.

Yelp
Amazing smoothies, lovely customer service. A little pricey but I would go back if given the chance.

Yelp
Love the juice. Watermelon juice is so good. Customer service is also good. Will come here again!

Yelp
Place an order online. Pulled up and went in to retrieve my order. A quick pick me up after a long flight. COVID quick in and out. The power house had avocado so went with that. It was actually delicious.

Yelp
Service is terrible at this location. I just paid 14 dollars a piece for two smoothies that were literally coconut milk with powder in it. disgusting.
google avatar

Yelp
Against my better judgment, I went back... its just so convenient because my nail salon is right there... got my smoothie right "go getter," and my food came fast... I got home and opened it - wrong order!!! ‍ Done with this location.

Yelp
I was craving a nice healthy meal with Kale I know, crazy right? I was not in the mood to stand in line at my usual place so did a quick check and found this newer location in Atlanta. I decided to have a "Combo": -gluten free vegan wrap -black bean soup Delicious and it hit the spot! The only challenge is the portions were very small. I understand it's fresh food but, they may want to reconsider the portions due to the prices. Glad to see this location in this part of town. Tip: If you're coming off 85 North the location is a bit tricky because the parking entrance is in the rear of the shopping center. It's better to use I-20.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Kale Me Crazy and have been for years. However, my experience at this location hasn't been what I'm accustomed to. Today I ordered a single avocado toast and sat inside while I waited. I had been waiting for over 20 minutes when I finally decided to inquire about my food. It had been ready and sitting behind the counter for a while. No one bothered to give it to me. Also, every other location that I've visited has sriracha available on the counters. This location does not. I will probably give them one more opportunity to provide better service before I decide not to visit again.

Yelp
I love Kale Me Crazy, but this location is bad. There is one guy there that is consistently patient and friendly. However, most of the other employees lack basic customer service skills. During my most recent visit, the female cashier was talking to someone through her AirPods. She was so concerned with her convo that she told me the wrong amount and I was waiting forever for my card to be authorized because she didn't initiate the transaction. All she said was "my bad". I got the chicken pesto wrap, and it was as good as it is at any other location. They seemed to be out of napkins and I didn't know where to put my tray when I was finished. Again, the nice guy from earlier came and took it. If you need a Kale Me Crazy fix, sure, stop in. However, if you can help it, go to another location.

Yelp
I went to try this place after my workout and got the acaì bowl. It wasn't very thick and kind of soupy, lacked flavor so not my favorite. Definitely not worth the price unfortunately.

Ashley D.

Yelp
I have visited this location at least 2-3 times a week for over a year. The service is always excellent - the newest AM shift lead?, Virginia, is super nice and helpful. I also have good experiences on the weekends and afternoons. My kids love their smoothies and açaí bowls. I usually order on the app ahead - I typically order the avocado toast and customize my kale salad. They are always on point. I have rarely ever had any mistakes on my order here and love the consistency!!!

Ella D.

Yelp
This Kale Me Crazy has THE WORST service of any food establishment in Atlanta. I have ordered from this specific Kale Me Crazy 6 times now, and EVERY TIME my order is either not made, or incorrectly made. There is always only 1 person working, and almost every time that person is extremely rude. The Kale Me Crazy restaurants in Midtown and Buckhead are so well managed, whoever manages this one really needs to get it together- you're making a terrible name for the brand. Don't go here. Seriously. You'll leave in a bad mood. Complete waste of time and money. Check out Grant Park Market right next door instead.

Yelp
Was underwhelmed for the price. Sorry. Even the juices aren't priced because when they rang up it was over $10 each for a small prepackaged bottle

Yelp
I first visited and reviewed Kale Me Crazy shortly after I moved to Atlanta about three and a half years ago, and haven't returned since until the other day. I gave my first experience at KMC two stars due to the very mediocre food and terrible value, but I was really hoping I'd have better things to say about it this time. Sadly, my opinion remains the same! I ordered the Greek Salad, which was $11. Mind you, this is $11 for a salad with no meat on it, which I thought was absurd, but I went for it anyway. The description on the menu sounded great, so I had high hopes. However, I can without a doubt say that it was the most underwhelming salad I've ever had. It was basically a giant to-go box of lettuce with a couple toppings sprinkled on very sparingly. The only protein on the salad was garbanzo beans, and I counted only about ten of them on there. The same went for all of the other ingredients and the dressing. Why so stingy? This place earns two stars from me again, as the restaurant itself is very cute, the location is convenient and in a nice development, and the staff were very friendly. However, with all of the wonderful healthy restaurants in Atlanta that are a good value and worth the price, I don't intend on wasting my money at Kale Me Crazy again.

Yelp
Really nice place to grab a toast, sandwich, salad or juice. Every time I come here the staff treats me respectfully and in a professional way. (Specially Hispanic staff). I've been a customer for over 2 years and I'm really satisfied with the service. Virginia is always smiling and she always makes my day better. - Juan Carlos

Yelp
My first time trying Kale Me Crazy was at this Grant Park location, and I'm currently obsessed! Since then, I've also had the Roswell location a few times. Food: GET THE TUNA WRAP GRILLED WITH MOZZARELLA! So far, this is my favorite item on the menu. I've also had the chicken pesto wrap. It's okay. It would be better as grilled chicken chunks instead of deli meat. They have plenty of healthy juices and smoothies, protein bars, and even cleanse packages. If I'm in a juice mood, I get the Beet-l-Juice. Atmosphere: Clean, airy, not many tables inside, but there's patio seating. Service: No issues Other: A little pricey for what you get. However, that's kind of normal for the hipster "healthy food" places of this kind. You can get fresh pressed juice for almost half the price at Sprouts. Tip: Download the App and order before you go. Overall: I'm excited to have Kale Me Crazy in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Always love a good local juice bar when traveling in Atlanta. Great service and a variety of flavors to choose from. A little pricey but you get what you pay for!

Yelp
UNSANITARY with a shot of TERRIBLE Customer Service I ordered a deluxe smoothie bowl and as I was waiting on my order to come up I was observing the employees working in the back. One of the male employees (light complexion tall guy) drops a banana on the ground. Picks it up with his gloves on that he's wearing to peel all the bananas and proceeds to peel the dropped fruit as well as the rest in the batch. He did not change gloves. He did not throw the dropped banana away....he just carried on as if it was normal. This isn't even where it stops. I attempted to get an employees attention by just saying "excuse me ma'am". What I received in response was a death stare from who I'd later learn was the manager. She literally stared at me instead of acknowledging a customer with a question. At that point, I asked to speak to the lady who rung me up because she was very nice. Her response was "I'm the manager, what's wrong?" It was then that I knew the whole operation is screwed. I asked for a refund. The manager is completely rude and they support unsanitary food preparation practices in the back where people cannot see. I would NEVER eat or drink anything from this location. They have nice people facing the customers but the folks in the back cannot be trusted.

Yelp
Great first experience at Kale Me Crazy! Visited this location in Grant Park on Grand Opening Day! I got there at the right time as the line was starting to form. Of course, free smoothies will attract a multitude. I tried the Tropical Trippin' smoothie. It was made with orange, mango, pineapple, coconut yogurt, and coconut milk. I thought it was a cool and refreshing treat, not too sweet but definitely well balanced. I didn't feel guilty eating a days worth of food and then having this smoothie. The employees were nice and on top of the smoothie making with the large crowd. I waited maybe 5 minutes and they were calling me up to pick up my order. I will definitely visit again for a cool, guilt-free treat!
google avatar

Yelp
To my surprise this Grant Park location of Kale Me Crazy opened up right next to one of my favorite workout spots (Vibe Ride)!!! I came in during the grand opening so you should already guess it was very busy. Although they did have a huge line the service was very fast and the smoothies and food were amazing. I had the "Power House" smoothie and it was great. I also decided to try their avacado toast which was good as well ( Avocado Lover Here). I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. Fulfilling and Healty.

Boobelove T.

Yelp
Parking lot and location was clean. Customer service was not bad but not the best. My friend and I order 2 açaí bowls I asked for mangos and he told me that the mangos were frozen so they didn't offer them inside the bowl. My friend who is a true vegan ordered and asked for mangos and chose to take them frozen. Point is he just didn't want to include them. He put maybe 6 mangos in her bowl not enough.. she gave me hers... bowls were refreshing. She also ordered a smoothie. I would expect this place to be a lot more friendly considering the neighborhood. As we was about to sit down to enjoy our bowls inside we were told they were closing early. Wow! Sadly we had to eat in the car. Better luck next time.

Yelp
So when the Grant Park market opened we were excited and then came Kale Me Crazy. I'd never visited any of the other location and figured since it was up the street I'd give it a go. What I order was: Quinoa, carrots, cucumber, feta, avocado, green peppers, NO tomatoes, scallion, mint, cilantro, serrano pepper, garbanzo beans, (with lemon vinaigrette or peanut dressing). What I got was quinoa, refrigerated smelling carrots (old) cucumbers, speckles of feta, bigger than my finger green peppers, NO scallions (which are my favorite), NO mint (at least none I can see or taste), NO cilantro, NO serrano peppers (which I love), about 10 garbanzo beans, and lemon dressing after I specified peanut, oh and it had kale in it (didn't want that) Then after I realized the dressing was wrong the attendant took it to the back and I believe he just ADDED the peanut dressing. I'm too tired to go back... so I write Employees were just ok... I believe someone was high (not knocking at all!)

Yelp
Their payment system is stealing from people. I was charged 38 dollars before tax for two salads ( faro salad 11$ + 4$ chicken add on , make that 2 orders). My bill came out to 41+ ( before tip) , I added tip and I paid but asked for the receipt bc I thought the math was wrong. On the receipt it was clear they had charged me 38$ for two 15$ salads, so I kindly showed the person . He pulled off his calculator and got to the same number I did, but then insisted the system is correct and 41+ dollars makes sense with tax. So ... either they have people who can't do basic math AND their system is programmed wrong or they are just playing dumb and hoping ppl won't notice while they take more money. He then refunded me the charge minus tip ... great. I just left angry bc I thought we'd all learned how to count in second grade. Gosh I wish he gave me the receipt back to post it
google avatar

George F.

Yelp
Used to the Buckhead location which has usually been reliable, unfortunately this one is not. Save yourself the headache and go to Grant Park Market next door.
google avatar

Lucy S.

Yelp
This place sucks. I had high hopes for some fresh made juice, but when I got here (noon on a Wednesday) they only had three juices left. When I asked if they could make me a fresh one, he said they don't make the juice, it's made at a corporate headquarters and they are all out of shipment. i bought one of the remaining three juices, but the people behind me in line didn't get any. I ordered a salad to go, with hummus on the side, and had to wait over 25 minutes for them to prepare it. The person working was also rude, and unfriendly. Will NOT be wasting my short lunch breaks here again.

T B.

Yelp
I love this place. My favorite treat is the recovery drink. Very tasty. Their Açaí bowls are delicious. I was in fact disappointed today when I was told I couldn't order the açaí bowl because it was almost time for them to close. So I order a smoothie and it was rushed. The banana wasn't fully blend into the smoothie.
google avatar

Jamie G.

Yelp
We were looking for a quick bite after flying back in from out of town. We have eaten at various locations before so we have had some experience with it. The food was quick and delicious. People complain about the price but I had no issue with it at all. Fresh, non processed, sushi grade food costs money. I would eat here 5 days a week for lunch if it was near me.
google avatar

John A.

Yelp
I was excited to have a place to get some healthy options from in the neighborhood, but alas my excitement has turned to disappointment and a sense of dismay. A little dramatic, yes, but this place barely made that 2nd star. Almost an hour wait for 2 salads and a sandwich in an empty restaurant that had one person waiting for food in front of us. On top of that it was $40 before tax for 2 salads and a sandwich. Salads were mediocre, in other words, they weren't bad, but for a higher price and long wait you really need to deliver in the flavor category. Might be back if I need a smoothie, but will need to remember that I might have to clear my calendar for that afternoon.
google avatar

Sam H.

Yelp
I love this Kale me Crazy. Everyone is so nice and remember you when you come in. It's part of my Monday morning routine and it puts me in the right place to start my week. Thanks for everything you all do! If you haven't tried a shot (I suggest the wellness) I highly recommend. It has helped ward off some major daycare colds that my child tried to pass onto me!
google avatar

TayLar A.

Yelp
It's ok. Not what I expected. I got the smoked salmon salad and I expected the salmon to actually be smoked but it was more on the raw side and cold.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Probably the worst smoothie I have ever had. I've never had baby formula but have to imagine if you left it out in the sun for 8 hours it would taste almost as bad as the smoothie I got from this place. 10$...small.. and just plain disgusting.
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
This is the new location in Grant Park in a new shopping center. Grant Park is up and coming! There's plenty of parking. A few tables inside and a few outside. The Power House and Super Matcha smoothies are my favorite!
google avatar

Kyndall S.

Yelp
Come here when you want poor service, overpriced and under quality food. The last time I went into Kale Me Crazy I informed them of my allergies and asked if I could substitute almond milk, which I do at many other locations. Instead the guy working tells me, "No you should get something else you can eat exactly how the recipe says" . He didn't have to say anything after that, I went to eat elsewhere.
google avatar

Tangi B.

Yelp
I absolutely love this KMC location!!! The owner is incredibly friendly and the staff is literally comprised of the most attentive and engaging people you will want to meet! Between a dose of tasty healthy food, and a shining example of true customer service, you will not be disappointed!
google avatar

Heidi L.

Yelp
It took 25 minutes to get a smoothie. There was one smoothie ahead of mine. The guy making the smoothies didn't put any liquid in, and then seemed confused why it wouldn't blend. Maybe he was new, but still not great service, and the smoothie was not drinkable. He also didn't have enough to fill the cup.
google avatar

Jamie L.

Yelp
Loving me some Kale Me Crazy! Nothing like fresh squeezed juice and pain killer shot, to start out the day! Friendly staff, great prices, and plenty of parking!

Lilly T.

Yelp
Ordered the acai bowl, poke bowl, and smoothie and got sick immediately afterwords. Staff was rude
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Extremely poor service. It looks like there are about 5 employees just walking around doing everything but helping customers...bummer! Was hoping for better service because I love having a healthy option in the neighborhood. However I probably won't return due to the amount of time it took to make one smoothie and employees not being helpful.
google avatar

Bart P.

Yelp
I come here often. I enjoy the food, smoothies and shots. It's pricey for what you get, but I'm ok with it. What I don't care for is some of their staff out front, specifically one girl who always has a sour attitude. Overall staff is somewhat humdrum.
google avatar

Glen T.

Yelp
I am excited to have you in our neighborhood. However, you need more staff in the morning. Sometimes I call up to 30 minutes in advance, I arrive there and my food is still being prepared; there is one person working the entire restaurant and up to four people waiting to place orders. I'm not sure if there is a staffing issue, but please fix this issue.
google avatar

Payton W.

Yelp
Loved the Tropical Trippin' smoothie with spinach added! I also ordered the almond butter bread and it was delightful. This area in Grant Park is very neat and there's plenty of parking!
google avatar

Taylor M.

Yelp
I got the Apple Pear Salad, Tuna Wrap, and Warrior Smoothie. Each were incredibly delicious -- really great flavor combinations. We'd been scouring the area for some good health food spots and I'm SO HAPPY my husband found this spot!
google avatar

Ash B.

Yelp
2 stars for the location. Zero stars for food and beverage. I had a chicken wrap it had 98% kale and 2% chicken. It was horrible and the recovery drink awful. Nothing good to say about this establishment, I would not return. I did see the cashier answer the phone and then prepare food without switching gloves, that is not sanitary .
google avatar

Brandon C.

Yelp
I want to give it 5 stars, but I've only been once. I'm always on the lookout for delicious and healthy options and this place did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled tuna wrap with provolone. Go ahead and splurge for the heat/cheese. It was seasoned to perfection. I'll definitely be back to try the other options. Service was fast and friendly.

Hannah H.

Yelp
Normally I love going to KMC for smoothies and wraps but I doubt I will be returning. The new staff is not great but the main reason is that on the last smoothie I got the lid was covered in this off sticky material and had little pieces of fuzz or hair in it. I got most of it off and then figured I should take a picture. The location is definitely downgrading.
google avatar

Cecile L.

Yelp
We come every day when on business trip in Atlanta for recovery smoothies for the all team. It is amazing to fill us up for a long day of work, particularly when we do not have time for lunch. The staff is friendly and quick to prepare the smoothies. I really recommend the place and encourage you to try the Recovery Smoothie!
google avatar

Tanbug D.

Yelp
I literally have tried to give this KMC a ton of chances. I can't anymore. This location has got to be the slowest in the nation. I even ordered online and my order wasn't ready and she thought it was for here. They can never get anything right. I'm going back to the highlands. I literally live 2 min away and now i have to go back to driving. Ridiculous
google avatar

Andrea A.

Yelp
Omg worst experience possible. I was charge for times for four wrong orders and all the lady could keep doing was saying I'm sorry instead of giving me anything for free or fixing anything right just I'm sorry I have to re-charge your card I'm sorry I have to re-charge your card I got a refund and left with the attitude! oh and she's the manager! Made a poke bowl when I order a deluxe Acia then made a reg acia when I orders a deluxe. Is it this hard????? Now
