"During trips to Chicago, Tabitha Brown fell in love with vegan restaurant, Kale My Name—so much so, that the actress approached the owner and brought it to Encino. You can now find fun, plant-based dishes, like “brunchpanadas” filled with cream cheese and guava, jackfruit lox, oyster mushroom wraps, cauliflower wings and waffles, plus sweets from Southern Girl Desserts. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

The new LA outlet will be located in a strip mall at 18000 Ventura Boulevard near White Oak Avenue. The original Kale My Name in Chicago offers a menu that includes salads, jackfruit and Beyond Meat tacos, vegan cheesecake, fried mac and cheese balls, and Balkan dishes." - Mona Holmes

My sister and I traveled all the way from Atlanta to taste Tab’s vegan food. And we were not disappointed! The food was hot, fresh, and plentiful. We ordered as many dishes as we could so we could try a little of everything. The service was phenomenal as well, especially our server, Boba. And the icing on the entire experience was Tabitha showing up at the very end. Meeting her in person was definitely a dream come true! She has such a pure and humble spirit. She seemed just as excited to meet us as we were to meet her😆 And Tab graciously autographed my sister’s book. I left Kale My Name on such a high that will last a lifetime #VeganQueen

As always, the food was outstanding. We ordered the potato and veggie empanadas, jackfruit wrap, lavender lemonade, oyster mushrooms and waffles. I will always be a fan! Even if you're not a vegan you must try it! I know you'll love it.

Great food. We came from MD on vacation and it didn't disappoint the crowd. I was the only vegetarian in the group but everyone was pleased. I had the cauliflower and waffles and the tequenos as an appetizer. I also had the triple berry cheesecake for dessert. The portion sizes are big so I had to take some of my food to go. The cauliflower still tasted good cold. We had a great server, Rob, who was very attentive and very helpful. To top off the meal Tabitha herself came into the restaurant. She was the nicest, down to earth person. Hope she brings a "Kale My Name" to the DC Metro area.

The food was delicious. I'm not a vegan but love watching Tabitha Brown videos and trying them. The empanadas(not pictured) were my favorite. The cauliflower wings were my 2nd favorite. Now that cheesecake and lavender lemonade was on point.. OK. Everything I ordered I liked. Will try to get back to LA again for more!

It was so great! The staff was amazing. So hospitable and welcoming. The vibe is intentionally inviting. The wrap with the Chipotle ailoli will have you singing to the Heavens chile. The Bellini will take you on a 5 sec trip to Bora Bora and the Lavender lemonade made me feel like I was in the Garden of Eden on a cool sunny summer morning. 10 out of 10 will highly recommend. BOOM! (insert mic drop)

Dear Jesus, thank you for blessing me with being alive the same time Tabatha Brown is, placing me in close enough proximity to try Kale My Name but most importantly, thank you for her berry cheesecake. So damn mesmerizing and delicious I forgot to take a picture of it! Everything I tried was delicious, worth the 1.5 hour drive and I'll make it again soon.
