Seattle’s Only Burmese Restaurant Quietly Opened Last Year - Eater Seattle

"Kamino Sushi and More has been serving a few Burmese dishes along with sushi, pho, and teriyaki since October. Burmese food makes up one segment of the 'more' in Kamino Sushi and More, which took over the old Pho Viet Anh space on Roy Street, but it is the native cuisine of chef Myat Feil. The menu includes a mix of Vietnamese and Thai noodle dishes and appetizers, poke, teriyaki, and, of course, sushi. They recently added panini to the menu too, because it worked well for corporate lunch business. But for those Seattleites with experience at the Burmese restaurants of Daly City, California, at Top Burmese in Portland, or even traveling in Myanmar itself, Kamino holds promise in the dishes that represent Myat’s heritage." - Naomi Tomky

This place just opened up and had to give it a try. What I like about this place is that they have so many menu items to choose from. I suppose the name says it all. You can get more than sushi. You can experience some of the unique ethnic foods from Myanmar. The ingredients are fresh. For me, sushi has to be fresh, especially the fish. The rice wrap has to be soft, not cold and hard. The customer service was amazing.

Excellent service. Pho was delicious. Hit the spot after a cold wet morning in Seattle. The sushi was well prepared and fresh. The music calms the soul. Lovely little place.

Teriyaki beef, chef’s special, summer roll all together about $30. Food quality was great and staff were friendly. Prices is awesome. We definitely go next time again.

Sushi, poke bowls, pho, egg rolls, there's something for everyone here 😍 I tried the Ohno Khao soi and it was perfect for a chilly day, creamy and delicious. My partner enjoyed his sushi roll. We split some nice egg rolls. We'll be back soon!

Came across this little “hole in the wall” place while visiting Seattle. We came in on a whim, and we’re glad we did. I tried their Tonkotsu Ramen and it was excellent! Flavor was great and authentic, chicken was perfectly sliced and tender. Staff was nice and even offered to take our picture while we were there. Would 100% come again if in the area!

Delicious food and super affordable. I got the kamino special roll and egg rolls. Those egg rolls are delicious.🤤 Definitely a good mix of food choices and a cute spot.

Did only tried the sushi and it was definitely fresh, but it seems like the knives used on it were also used in the kitchen? The salmon and avocado in it had a strong onion flavor (the roll did not have any); the flavors and quality are good to medium. I would like to recommend to be more strict with separating the areas and avoiding cross “contamination” of the ingredients. The place is a little old but lovingly decorate and kept. Will return in the future in any case.
