Kampo by Chef Julio Pereira

I would say that this one is the best restaurant from Chef Julio. We ordered meat, vegetables, bread, a lot of starters and dessert. Service were the best and very fast and everything was delicious I really want to come back

Kampo exceeded all our expectations! We opted for the set menu for two and were blown away by the creativity and flavors of each dish. Sitting at the food bar was an experience in itself, as we got to watch the chefs in action, bringing their passion and precision to every plate. The ambiance was vibrant yet intimate, making the entire evening unforgettable. The attention to detail and quality of the food truly set Kampo apart. A must-visit for anyone seeking a unique and flavorful dining experience in Madeira!

The atmosphere was amazing. If it's your first time, I recommend sitting near the open kitchen. The food was fabulous, and the staff were even better

Starting from the very first step you take inside you will feel well taken care of. The waitress, the chefs, everyone pays attention to you and to detail. We were offered seat at the bar and therefore had an opportunity to see our meals being prepared in front of our eyes. I was taken aback by how much love into cooking all of these people have. And the quality, every bite was like heaven in my mouth, the beef tartare - absolutely stunning, apple pancetta - excellent, lamb - tender and full of flavour. I would come again next time I’m in Madeira and I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely fantastic. Unable to fault anything. We sat around the starter prep area and watched the staff work with such finesse and attention to detail. The steaks were the best we’ve had. Highly recommend the oxtail ravioli.

One of the best part in the trip. I don’t really drink alcohol (like twice a year) but Madeira wine is kinda addictive 😂 fortunately also sadly, I’m just a tourist. Miss the chance to be a happy alcoholic forever 😇

Not worth it at all, service is bellow average, problems with payment, portion size is Michelin way but far from it taste vise. The food is good though, can’t complain on that, but for Madeira they think too much of themselves… better enjoy local restaurants with much better service and same quality of dishes

The experience was absolutely INCREDIBLE and the food was EXQUISITE!!! If you get the chance sit at the bar for dinner & a show! The chef and waiters were incredible. Special thank you to Angela for making this birthday girl feel special! Will be going back!
