Master Kin was amazing. The art to his sushi skills is out of this world. Best omakase I've ever had in my life and the price is something you can't beat. Very local, and very personal. It's definitely a hidden gem. 15 pieces of deliciously.

We were driving around trying to find a place for dinner. Drove by here and decided to try it out. There’s a small parking lot for the shopping center. The restaurant sushi bar was busy but a table was available immediately. It was good service and server courteous. There’s push button service there but the server was attentive and we didn’t use it.

A definite “pay for what you get” here. If your a sushi connoisseur, don’t miss out you will not be disappointed. The fish is real fresh and all made by hand right in front of you. You’re not getting teriyaki chicken at Kanpachi, it’s all sushi all the time.

Kanpachi is HANDS DOWN the Best Sushi I have ever had. Chef Brian is a genius. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Try the Sazea and ask for the special oysters. I make sure I go EVERY TIME I am in town.

This is a solid sushi place. The ima sale is really good for the price. No frills. No fancy extra - just good quality fish and rice.

Price is not match with food quality

When I go there, they only offer take-out. I brought my own lunch box so I asked them to put food in my box. The quality was overall good, given this price. However, the lotus root and tree fungus are too sweet for me. The chief is a nice Japanese person. Good service and I felt peaceful from him.

The restaurant is very clean. The Sushi Omakas is a good value $49.00 with 14 variety of piece of sushi, including chawanmushi and ice cream desert.

$54 for a 14 piece omakase of great quality! In LA where there's a lot of overpriced sushi you definitely can't beat it. The chef's and staff are all great and it feels very local, don't expect anything fancy but the fish is all of great quality. And the chawamushi and miso soup with prawn are flavorful as well. Make sure to sit at the bar if you're able to do you get the full experience.

Kanpachi has been my go-to spot for Omakase in Gardena. $54 for a 14-piece omakase.. you simply can't beat it! My wife and I at first just ordered ala carte but now we always get the omakase and just get ala carte for whatever extra we are craving that night. Sit at the bar for an outstanding experience! All the chefs are great. Brian is awesome! Top off your meal with a bottle of sake or beer! The staff is outstanding. Oh, there is also a private area you can rent in the back. Great for birthday parties!

My friend took me here and I was so obsessed I came back the next day with my bf. The chirashi bowl is SO fresh and delicious. I was so impressed with the prices and the quality of the meat. I love that they put uni in their chirashi bowl. They have amazing pink flakes in it that I've never tried before but now I'm hooked on the flavor of them. I love a dish that introduces me to new things while also serving my favorite flavors. This place is authentic Japanese sushi for sure. I'll always crave the chirashi bowl here and I'll be returning for more! I also tried their omakase and it was so delicious. The service is good and it's clean and cozy inside.

It was good to see the gang after beating the Mets and our Dodgers are on a roll I had never tried the Omakase and decided to get it and I'm telling you, ya just gotta do it. I don't think I'll ever do anything else ever again. So good. Arrigato Briansan

Made a reservation 10 days in advance for the omakase and let them know that I have an allergy to mushrooms. The omakase special included miso soup, the 14 piece pictured, chawanmushi, and a dessert. They did not find a work around for my allergy even with 10 day advanced notice and gave me the smallest bowl of cold edamame but did not give me the chawanmushi or the miso soup. The fish was fresh, but nothing amazing. The fish to rice ratio wasn't good, and their service was lacking. I even ordered extra nigiri because it wasn't filling. If they were just going to omit things from my special, I should at least have it discounted.

This hidden gem just became my new favorite spot for a casual omakase. I love their affordable price, quality of the fish, and overall great service and vibes! I came on a Friday night and waited about 10-15 mins for the bar seating. The two of us each ordered the omakase set and a sake. We got to watch and interact with the chef who made our sushi in front of us. The chef was really fun and friendly and even joined us for a shot of sake. Their omakase nigiri set is $49 and includes 14 pieces of fish, chawanmushi, miso soup, and a scoop of red bean or black sesame. The fish here is so fresh and my favorite nigiri was the toro and the uni. The chef threw in a bowl of cooked tuna and it was amazingly tender. For dessert, we tried their red bean and black sesame ice cream and I enjoyed the black sesame because the flavor was strong but not too sweet. Everything here was so good and I would definitely come back. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the mood for sushi. They also have traditional Japanese rooms where you sit on the floor behind the sliding doors, so a nice spot for groups as well.

I think I just found my favorite Omakase sushi spot in the South Bay. I had the omakase nigiri set which came with miso soup with shrimp head (blew my mind, the umami from the shrimp head was delicious!), steamed egg, and a Black Sesame ice cream for dessert. I always order Monkfish liver, and boy was it unforgettable; this sealed the deal for me. My son ordered cut rolls: salmon skin, and two spider rolls. We love salmon so we ordered more salmon nigiri. Everything was fresh, and satisfyingly delicious. Ambiance was your typical Japanese sushi restaurant. However, I believe they had traditional Japanese rooms behind sliding wooden doors. I will be back very soon and often!

ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE MONEY!! ThIs hidden gem is amazing quality. The 14-piece omakase was a little over $50 and it comes with a miso soup, steamed egg, and dessert. It was a great experience. Reservations are recommended! I also always add a yellowtail scallion hand roll no matter how full I am--it's amazing!

Took my family here so they can try it. We got the platter which was good and filling. I also got the sweet shrimp for myself which was excellent. Keep up the good work!

Kanpachi is a local authentic Japanese sushi spot that I've been interested in trying for some time now. We finally made a visit here on a Sunday for dinner. There were people seated at tables and at the sushi bar, but luckily it wasn't too crowded so we were seated right away at a table (we had a party of 3). It seemed like a lot of the customers are regulars as they were talking with the sushi chefs and staff about family, etc. The menu is simple and straighforward. Sushi, chirashi, sashimi, a few grilled or fried appetizers, and an extensive alcohol menu with various sake, shochu, beer, and wine options. // FOOD // Omakase Nigiri Combo: Miso soup, 14 piece sushi, chawanmsuhi (steamed egg), scoop of ice cream (they had either red bean or black sesame). The sushi was fresh and delicious. Very flavorful and a nice mix of textures with each fish. We all agreed that it would have been nice to have a hotate (scallop) as one off the 14 pieces of sushi since that is our favorite, but other than that it was a nice variety of fish and included uni as well. $49 Overall, I thought the sushi was great! The miso soup was very flavorful and the chawanmushi had an earthy aspect to it due to the mushrooms. I will definitely come back again as I enjoyed the meal and will most likely try some of the appetizers and some individual sushis off the sushi/sashimi list.

A very authentically Japanese sushi restaurant (not a spicy Mayo and crazy roll-type establishment, to set your expectations). Warm service, sit and the bar if you like that chef attention. Many folks were chatting and sharing drinks with the chef -- it was a nice environment. Also very reasonably priced for the quality, which is increasingly rare these days. I got the omakase and my bf got the 2 layer chirashi. Both delicious, tho personally I would get the regular chirashi next time. Can't wait to come back!

I used to go when they were on artesia blvd. It's still small sushi joint but delicious. Everything, every where, prices went up so much! I love their chirashi and their price went up too but not too bad compare to other places. We really enjoyed out chirashi for lunch on the day we went.

Looking for a sushi spot in Gardena, we noticed this resteraunt located in a strip mall off of Western. There was a slight wait around 7pm on a Friday. Once our name was called, we were seated in the main dining room across from the sushi bar and the vibe was loud and lively. There were additional booths in the adjacent room, which appeared to be a bit more private. Our server approached us immediately and took our drink order. We ordered the calamari to start and it tasted fresh and perfectly fried. The calamari was placed on top of dressed salad and it paired perfectly. A lemon and sauce was also given on the side. We ordered rolls off of the paper menu and tried the Rainbow Roll, Catapillar Roll and the the Spider Roll. All pretty good and fresh. Maybe lacking a bit in flavor for me. I have to add that the ginger on the side was the freshest we've had. Service was fast and friendly. I'll be back to try a bit more of the menu.

Real japanese stule sushi. None of those drenched in sauce and toppings type. Sushi style is simple but with quality ingredients. Price is high. Spent an arm just for 2 people lol. Overall its good. Restaurant is small and space is limited though.

Ordered the regular nigiri with 8 pieces of sushi and 1 roll. The fish was pretty fresh but just okay for the price. Wasn't blown away by this place like some of the reviews I've read. Compared to other spots in the South Bay I think you can find better quality sushi. Hate to say I'd even go for a less authentic chain experience like sugarfish compared to this.

I recently dined at Kanpachi restaurant in and had the omakase. It was an absolute delight, with pieces of sushi arriving consecutively, each one a treat for the taste buds. The chef was a joy, warmly interacting with customers and accepting drinks, cheering happily with them. I especially loved the uni--it was exceptional. After the omakase, the chef offered me another piece of sushi, which wasn't on the house, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Never been to this place but heard a lot of good reviews from Japanese friends, so I gave it a try. Glad I did! It is authentic Edomae sushi with very fresh fish and perfect amount of rice. I cannot find this grade of sushi with such reasonable price any where in LA now. Salmon skin salad also was delicious. I was even impressed how carefully sushi were packed with wasabi, ginger etc. Will definitely go back to eat in! My new favorite sushi place

I enjoyed lunch here, and the fish was wonderfully fresh. Their lunch menu offers a selection of bowls like chirashi and toro, along with a variety of sushi, all served with a delicious bowl of miso soup. The attentive service and traditional Japanese atmosphere enhanced the experience. The lunch experience was about $60 for two people, providing just the right amount of food to satisfy our appetites. We will come back again.

Randomly picked this restaurant because I was in the area and wanted sushi and it was a hit! They have a super simple menu and if you dont like the menu, you can order al a carte. My boyfriend ordered the special nigiri, and i ordered al a carte. Special nigiri is a real good deal, it is $36 and comes with 11 pieces, a roll, and a miso soup. I ordered al a carte, 4 pieces of toro($8/piece), 1 piece of tuna ($5), yellowtail ($4) yellowtail belly ($5), and a tempura roll. Our total came to around $120 without tip. The service was great, friendly servers, and fun chefs. I would definitely come back to try more.

Fantastic sushi restaurant! I had the omakase set which comes with 14 pieces of sushi, steamed egg, miso and your choice of icecream. I still had room in my stomach and was feeing adventurous so i also ordered the Sazae, which was some sort of conch. The omakase was amazing. Each fish was a quality piece and fresh. The mackeral was a stand out for me, has somewhat of a tart flavor distinct from all the other pieces. The squid had a bit of a plum paste on it which was a nice touch too. Steamed egg was done spot on and i thought that the mushroom flavor permeated well into the rest of the dish The sazae was a spur of moment decision. I had no clue what to expect. It was served on the conch shell which was wild to look at. Upon the first bite i was hit by a strong bitter taste. Very surprising, and honestly not pleasant. I can see why it comes with sake. Pairing it together does make it a better. The texture was also a bit chewier than i liked. It would have been nice if it were served in smaller slices but it was quartered into four large piece (with the gut of the animal still in the back, i think thats where the bitterness is coming from) and that didnt help. Besides the sazae though, loved everything esle

I was searching for an omakase restaurant near my school and came across Kanpachi. For their omakase you get 14 pieces of nigiri, chawan mushi, miso soup with shrimp head, and a scoop of either red bean or black sesame ice cream for $49. That's definitely an awesome deal for great sushi! My top favorites would have to be the negitoro and uni. It was very fresh and tasted soooo yummy! I usually don't get full after an omakase but I was so full after eating at Kanpachi. A good bang for your buck here. The restaurant is small and I recommend making a reservation if you want to get a seat at the sushi bar because it gets quite busy. I love the decor! It was a traditional Japanese style design which gave a cozy and warm atmosphere.

I have been invited to this restaurant a couple of times for my birthday. We got excellent service and best quality sushi if and only if a friend of mine takes me there. She knows the owner and she gets really good service. When I ordered take out on an early weekend, it was good. However, when our family ordered on a week night after 7pm, we were told our food would not be ready until 8:15pm. We were okay with it, but after we brought it home, the sushi rolls were tiny, shrimp tempura and salmon skin rolls were over fried and dry, the yellow tail and salmon sushi were not the best cut. All the cooked items seemed like leftover food. I was shocked and disappointed! I don't think I'll ever go there on a busy night or take out. The ambiance is minimal. You can reserve a private room if you pay extra.

This is my first-ever 1-star review as an F&B enthusiast and investor for the past decade. I visited this place twice, drawn by its positive reviews, hoping for an exceptional local sushi experience. Unfortunately, both visits left me disappointed. The first visit with my mother involved a Chirashi dish that lacked freshness. The service felt dismissive, perhaps due to our non-regular status, but I chose not to dwell on it at the time. My second visit revealed more. Despite several open seats at the sushi bar, the welcome was cold. I understand that the sushi bar is reserved for Omakase or à la carte, and I ensured my check average was a solidly above their average cover spend before tip, but the sushi chef's attitude was needlessly condescending. Despite my ordering in standard Japanese, i.e. saba nigiri, sake sashimi, I was repeatedly corrected in English and scoffed at, while he chuckled it up with the Japanese couple next to me. The quality of the sushi was notably subpar. The Saba was tough on both occasions and not properly cured, and the Uni nigiri was watery and couldn't maintain its shape, creating an unappetizing experience. After stating that I did not want the uni anymore, I was dismayed to be offered the same dish. Meanwhile, regulars at the bar received cheers and house specials, clearly showing where the priorities lay. When I addressed these issues with the owner, the response was dismissive and curt: 'Well, sorry they're regulars and sucks for you.' A great restaurant should make every guest feel welcomed and valued, irrespective of their status as regulars, particularly when they show respect to the staff. Sadly, this was not my experience. I hope the restaurant reevaluates its approach to hospitality, as relying solely on a specific group of regulars may not be sustainable for fostering a diverse and inclusive clientele.

Came in with a reservation for a Friday lunch. The restaurant is cozy, but there were plenty of bar spots open. Service is fast and friendly - perfect for a midday work lunch. And the prices are relatively friendly too: $20-25 for most lunch sets. The omakase lunch was $49. I appreciated the fish pairings (with lemon, spicy sauce, etc. on top). It also seemed like they were more careful/detailed with the omakase cuts of fish; the $20 sashimi plate with rice had cuts of fish that were more on the stringy side. But with that price and the freshness, it was reasonable. Each lunch set also comes with miso soup, and the omakase also comes with steamed egg and a small scoop of red bean or seasame ice cream.

Wow! We've been coming to this location for years, including previous owners. Our recent meal here was probably THE BEST one yet! House salad was gigantic, edamame was super fresh, miso soup was next level with vegetables galore. Then there was the sushi....OMG! Really fresh and delectable. We were happy to see the crowd, which we haven't seen recently here. I recommend reservations, which we did not have. It would be nice to have a waiting area inside. The energy in the restaurant was upbeat and fun. Highly recommend this place and commend whatever more recent changes were made in food selection and prep. Well done!!!

I strongly suspect I got food poisoning after having lunch here with my husband. The reason I say this is because lunch at Kanpachi was my first and only meal of the day. My husband ordered the chirashi lunch special and I ordered from the a la carte sushi menu. Around 7 pm I started having severe stomach pain and food poisoning symptoms which lasted throughout the night. My husband, however, was fine. This morning, I am still having food poisoning symptoms. I strongly suspect it is the sushi I ate because of the timing, and the fact that I had no food before or after lunch. It is not always possible for customers to know for sure whether or not their food is safe to eat, so I feel it's up to the restaurant to take all the necessary preventative measures to ensure food safety. This becomes even more important when serving raw foods like sushi and sashimi. I don't know what exactly made me sick. Maybe I got a bad piece of fish that was old or handled improperly. Nevertheless, one little mistake can cause big damage. Food preparers, therefore, must never be complacent or take short cuts when it comes to food preparation. This is the first time in my life getting sick after eating at a sushi restaurant. I am greatly disappointed because I've always thought of Kanpachi as a first class establishment, and I supported their business during the pandemic. After this experience we lost trust and will never be back.

Kanpachi has been around for awhile. The sure reason it's been in existence and survived Covid is due to loyal followers. They have a great array of lunch choices of sushi plates for about 20 dollars for lunch that comes with soup. You can also order one offs of sushi and sashimi. It's been awhile since I've been here. I must say I feel the place has slipped a bit. Some of the sushi was spot on: fresh and tender while others seem tough or off on taste. The miso soup is still good. Note place is small so get here when it opens for lunch if you don't want to wait.

I like how Kanpachi makes it very simple to order for people who do not know sushi. If you know your sushi, it's also fine, but if you know nothing, this is a wonderful place to get you started on your sushi adventure. Most sushi places have a large selection that you need a picture to see in order to understand what you're getting. Kanpachi has a short menu with combos that already have a selection of sushi for you. Their a photos of their food. It's clean. Easy to understand. And prices are good for this quality level.

This has been our go to sushi place for the past year. Usually a very good omakase. So much so that I have been raving about this place to all of my friends. Took several extended family members for the omakase for a birthday celebration and unfortunately it disappointed. Fish was not as fresh as usual and several pieces were subpar. Nonetheless, the sushi chefs are friendly.

Wow... what a hidden gem for affordable omakase! The omakase comes with 14 pieces, chawanmushi, miso soup, and dessert (choice of either green tea, red bean, or black sesame ice cream) for only $49. It is my new favorite place to get fresh and absolutely delicious sushi at inflation friendly prices. The quality of the fish is better than some of the more expensive omakase options I've tried. My favorite pieces were the toro, uni, ikura, and Spanish mackerel. The plum wine was nice and refreshing and was an excellent choice with my meal. Although I'm not the biggest fan of sake, Hakkaisan was the smoothest sake I've ever tried. It's a fairly cozy restaurant with seating at the sushi bar, tables, or private room in the back which you can reserve for $20 surcharge. Parking is shared with businesses in the strip mall. Highly recommend making a reservation, especially for bigger parties as there was a wait for dinner on a Wednesday night. Cheers!

So so so so so disappointed. I like to come to a spot more than once before giving a review, few exceptions apply and this is not one of them. The quality of the fish was not up to par. Felt like they gave us shitty cuts of fish thinking we wouldn't know?? Toro should melt in your mouth and Salmon Belly should be butteryyyy. Especially for how pricey they can be. Even the Uni was bleah, and it was what I was looking forward to most! The service at most sushi spots is whatever and this spot is no exception. Probably won't be back, the last experience left such a poor taste in my mouth. Literally and figuratively.

My wife and I each ordered the regular chirashi. The uni was good, but most other pieces of fish were overly dry and bland, as if they had been sitting out for too long. Overall, the food was subpar. But what really left a bad taste in our mouths was the poor customer service. First of all, this is the rare restaurant that doesn't offer highchairs. When we ordered our food, we asked the waitress whether it was okay to feed our daughter food we brought from home and she obliged. Our daughter is 1 year old and is on a particular diet. Well, halfway through our meal when we were feeding our daughter some fruit, the manager comes over and says there's no outside food allowed. I tried to explain that we already asked the waitress and she said it was okay. The manager cut me off and repeated there was no outside food allowed and quickly turned away. She was being curt with me when it was her own staff member who didn't understand the policy. (And does the no outside food policy really have to extend to 1 year olds?!) We were left struggling with a hungry kid for the rest of our meal. Showing no sympathy for our situation, we were presented with the check before my wife was even done eating. Below average food + mistreatment of customer = 1 star

I've been to the original Kanpachi location on Artesia few years back, so decided to give this one a try. It appears the original location has changed to more of a take-out place, and this is the full restaurant. It's located next to Bonjour French Pastry. The food was just as good as I remember from the original location, although price is higher now (obviously). It was pretty packed on a Sunday night, even though we got here just shortly after it opened. My wife and I both went with Special Nigiri (11 pieces sushi & 1 roll). Although most of the pieces were standard items, they were excellent quality. Uni was especially good with slight sweetness. Price seems reasonable for today's standard. Would definitely come back to try its omakase next time. It seems very reasonable at $47 for 14 pieces of sushi, steamed egg, and dessert. Only reason we didn't try omakase on our recent visit is because we weren't sure if we could eat this much.

I am absolutely blown away! This is my go to omakase spot now. The sushi was good quality and the ambience was so fun. The staff was so kind and funny. Keep an eye out for Koji! For $54 especially, I am awestruck! Will be taking all my friends here

The best and freshest sushi I've ever had. Really affordable and great priced omakase! (14 course with dessert) The chef and everyone was super awesome and legit. I would def recommend Kanpachi and I would come back in the future for their omakase and other items from their menu!

Gorgeous place with a spacious parking lot! Came here during a week night and was immediately blown away by the delicious smells. The service was quick and attentive. Had the omasake which had the perfect amount of food for my very hungry self. Everything was so yummy! The restroom is clean and BONUS, they use the good toilet paper.

Kanpachi is my go-to omakase sushi restaurant! I always bring my friends here. Brian-san is chill and friendly, Koji-san is an amazing sushi chef, and Kin-san is very innovative with his creation. I like all their fresh sushi, Ankimo, Negitoro Roll, and Spider Roll. Some of my favorite omakase sushi are Fatty Toro, Shima Aji, Engawa, Uni, Sweet Shrimp, and Squid. Occasionally, they will have Shirako when it's in season. Their Sazae Conch is fun to order - they give you hot sake to drink with the conch soup after you finish the meat. They are reasonably priced. Their lunch specials are great with amazing price too! I love their #2 Chirashi lunch special, which is only $22 with 11 pieces of sashimi over sushi rice: Tuna, Albacore, Salmon, Yellowtail, Mackerel, Surf Clam, Shrimp, Squid, Uni, Salmon Roe, and Egg! I recommend making reservations on the phone at least a day in advance, because they don't accept same day reservation. Free parking in lot.

If Kanpachi wants to be a local authentic Japanese sushi go-to spot, they have some work to do. Food was OK+, so 3 stars based on what we got compared to Sugarfish. Kind of expensive for sushi and rolls are way too small. Service was very good.

One of many good authentic sushi places in Torrance! They recently changed locations, and their dining room is nice with lots of tables. What I really like about this place is that the service is good, and the food came out within 5 min! I ordered a tuna bowl with negitoro, and it came with miso soup. The quality of the fish was fresh and not fishy. The miso soup also wasn't too salty, and it had carrots and seaweed inside. I also recommend the salmon and ikura bowl. Def reasonably priced with the great quality you get, and I like how that I'm in and out of the restaurant within 30 minutes! 10/10

I don't know why this place has such good reviews. Their food is fine, but overpriced, nothing impressive. Their service is extremely slow, never answer the call for reservations.

Was excited about this place but truly disappointed both times. Food was not fresh, service was tailored to a specific type of clientele if you know what I mean (see other reviews), and the chefs were unprofessional. See my full review in the other account. This one was linked to my work phone which I did not realize when I posted b/c it was that bad. But in reality, 2x one star reviews seem appropriate for the experiences I had.

As a mom, I don't want other family to go through the experience we had and I'd like to recommend people stay away from this restaurant if you have kids. They don't offer highchairs or make you feel welcome as a family. My husband and I were visiting and went to Kanpachi with our one year old for an early dinner at 5pm on a Saturday. They were NOT busy at all and there were only 2 people at the bar and us at a regular table. While we were waiting for our food we asked if we could feed our 1 year old yogurt and fruit we drought and the staff said yes. We let our daughter pick up and eat her own blueberries after our food arrived. Another woman staff suddenly interrupted and came to the front of my 1 year old daughter's face and said they didn't allow outside food. I was in shock but still took my daughters blueberries away. I immediately regretted it because I didn't consider my daughter's feeling and she got fussy when I took it away. (My daughter has allergies and can only eat certain food but it should not be that we need to share this info to get permission.) I decided to take out the blueberries and continue to let my daughter enjoy her food. The staff then decided to present us check while I was still eating. The woman who dared to come to my daughter's face telling her "the no outside food rule" made sure to check our tip amount immediately when she got our bill. It is sad and disgusting how this restaurant prioritizes rules for profit over humanity and common sense. We frequently dine out in all sorts of restaurants, high end or casual, and our daughter is always welcome (she is not a messy eater but no parents should need to worry about that). This restaurant not only offers mediocre fish but also the worst service we had so far.

I am a little disappointed with the omakase after reading a few good reviews. It is true $45 is cheap, and maybe I shouldn't have expected the fish would be too special in this price range. If you have tried omakase at $100 range, their omakase will be a little basic. The plum wine and house sake were also just okay. Nothing quite impressive with the rolls and grilled item we tried. We also tried to reserve a private room, but I was told it was fully booked. But when I was there I didn't see any rooms being in used.

Outstanding or Horrific, I won't waste our time reviewing average. That being said, I think I have found my favorite lunch spot! Kanpachi is located about 45 mins from me, but I will make it out here every chance I get. They have a special lunch menu, and the Toro Bowl is AMAZING!!! I have come back many times just for this dish, and to be honest I can't get enough, literally. It small enough where I can probably eat 3 comfortably, but my better 1/3 would kill me. The fish is always fresh, and the food is always tasty. I haven't been back for dinner, but I plan to soon. The service is always quick and courteous, so overall Kanpachi is a win! This is my favorite spot for lunch if I can choose anything. Highly Recommended!
