BRUNCH deal is really good. It has Sports Bar type energy, but lots of $22 bottomless drink options (no espresso martinis)!! The food is average, very clean environment, we had a nice seat right by the open patio, wait staff was great + friendly, I recommend the Bellinis! <3 I had steak with eggs - not that good. Bestie had wings which were ok. I didn’t love the chocolate chip pancake because it was just a lot for me. And these fries were ok.

while the food and atmosphere had potential, the behavior of the owner, Rosie, left much to be desired. It’s clear that Rosie believes her position as owner gives her immunity from basic courtesy and professionalism. Rosie seemed to exude an air of superiority. Customer service seemed secondary to her, as she appeared far more interested in asserting her own sense of importance than ensuring patrons had a pleasant experience. While I won’t speak to the talents of the kitchen staff, I can say with certainty that the atmosphere, tainted by Rosie’s demeanor, made it impossible to feel comfortable or valued as a customer. In summary, Katch may have potential, but until the atmosphere improves—and the owner adopts a more respectful attitude toward guests—it’s unlikely me or my group of 10 will ever be returning.

The service was really good the staff is attentive. However, the food left a lot to the imagination.

Visited here on 8/12 after seeing it on IG/TikTok with 2 others for a 12:30 reservation and it was empty when we arrived. We were seated outside and given 2 menus and the waitress said she’d bring another but never did but fine. We all did the $22 bottomless drinks ordered 1 appetizer and 3 entrees. The drinks came out (pineapple marg, Bellini, rum punch) and they were good but we waited a while before the 2nd round we ordered came out. The waitress brought out the appetizer (spam eggs Benedict) but with no utensils no plates and walked away. By the time she returned, still no drinks, the app was cold so we sent it back for a fresh one and asked for the plates and utensils. When the fresh app came out we finally had utensils but no sharing plates we had to use napkins. When our entrees finally came out (Banana flambé pancakes w/crispy bacon for myself; 2 steak and eggs one with grits one with fries) one order was wrong (both steaks had fries) and one item from an order was missing (crispy bacon) but by then we had enough of the poor service and requested the manager. The restaurant was still empty so we were confused as to why the service wasn’t better than what we were getting. Although one order was wrong the manager suggested he take all of our orders (instead of correcting the wrong one) and bring us out fresh ones. Once we placed the orders again the waitress returned to our table with the NASTIEST ATTITUDE, trying to insinuate we placed our orders incorrectly meanwhile as the manager was taking our complaint she arrived at our table with an item no one on our group ordered. Not once did she apologize or seem apologetic. When the orders came out they were finally correct but looked DISGUSTING and 2/3 of them were COLD. The 2nd order of pancakes they brought out didn’t even look like the same thing as the first time they brought it out. We had given up on them altogether and decided to go elsewhere after we finished the round of drinks that were supposed to come out when someone who identified herself as the manager (different than the 1st we spoke with) brought out our drinks. She was wearing rubber gloves but for some reason she dipped her finger in one of our drinks (idk what that was about) and we complained once again and she decided (we didn’t suggest) that we’d just pay for the drinks and the food would be taken off. We were finishing our drinks and she returned and said she wouldn’t be charging for the drinks either but we didn’t bother finishing those and just left.

Comunidad Latinx held a board meeting at Katch, utilizing the lovely courtyard for our gathering. The space was beautifully decorated by La Bomboniera, Elizabet Flores, board member of Comunidad Latinx. We enjoyed the Katch Salad, which was absolutely delicious. Our server, Paul, was the BEST, he was incredibly attentive and made us feel special throughout our visit. Katch is the ideal venue for both large and small events or meetings like ours.

Had brunch here, and it was great! Issac our waiter kept the drinks flowing and was attentive. The drinks were spot on( shout out to the bartender). The food was good and the vice was chill. Definitely going back.

Atmosphere:: location is well decorated. And it has enough light to help set the mood. It's spacious. And, serviceable seating arrangement. Nothing is worn or broken. Well maintained. The food portions are nice for one but you can share (i didn't) the staff is welcoming. They are friendly, polite, and provide service with a positive attitude

Went here for a local social gathering and it was quite fun--but, too loud. There could have been more space, and the bar seemed a slightly slow for the number of people there. Regardless -- the drinks were pretty good, an amertto sour and mocktails too. However, the ice they put in is big enough where if you're a slow drinker, you'll be drinking water before you know it. I would come back here to try the food as a one-off in the future!

I've seen this place all across social media so decided to finally check it out. The location itself is pretty prime and there's plenty of seating inside. The overall restaurant was pretty dim lighting wise, not sure if it was the day that we were there. Service was good and friendly and food came out pretty quickly. We ordered a variety of dishes across the menu. Overall, the menu is pretty high - the food is packed with flavor but not light on the calories. There drinks are big sized too so it makes it great for ordering drinks. I heard you can sit outside during the summer so I'll definitely want to check that out when it's ready!

We used this space in back for a small gathering. It was good. Food was decent, service was ok.

We decided to have our after-work-party here and the food tasted like something I would make because I don't know how to cook haha. $50 for a drink and a small plate of Parm Chicken w/h Pasta. The sauce was water-down and the chicken was very small portion. Like one chicken used per two plates. Sorry but If I had known, I would've gladly spent my 50$ elsewhere. Dead a$$ went to another restaurant after because I was still hungry. I dislike the fact that as a group, we gathered so much money beforehand for this place and this is the service we got. The place only had two medium size party. But either way, the serving size could be bigger? It was like a kid's meal. Alright, I'll stop. But my coworkers felt the same way as well. Word of advice, please use better ingredients and don't cheap out when a big party comes around because that's how you lose business. Lastly, the music was wayyyyyy way too loud even if there was another party on the other side. None of us could hear each other and we were already screaming to each other.

Katch is really a great sports bar!! So many TVs with multiple games going so your eyes can go from screen to screen while you sip and snack on their menu selections. I dined with my cousins and our sever Miguel was on point with everything. He knew the menu, the specials, didn't have to repeat what we ordered or guess what we needed. The food arrived on time and the drinks kept on coming. Rosanne also came on by and gave us complimentary shots. When we finished we joined the dance party as a live Brazilian band played in their outdoor area. I will definitely be back!

Great place to watch games! TV's everywhere, so definitely would recommend this place for major games and Dani's service was amazing!

Food was ok, drinks were good. The place was an ice box. Seems the manager or whoever Downton Abbey was walking around felt it was ok for the customers and staff were ok to work and dine in 50 degrees. Guessing business not too good if they cut the heat and Dc'd the hot water from the sinks. The hand dryers in the bathroom blow cold air too. It's a one and done for that place. So much potential too.

It was not crowded due to the Monday holiday so it was enjoyable. The food, drinks and service was excellent!

Outside patio wonderful. Came to watch a UFC Fight, truly enjoyed myself. The staff was very accommodating with the outside heating, as well as the service. The was very little wait time for drinks and food. Our bill was average as compared to a regular date night. My real joy is the happy hour on Friday 3-7 is pretty good. Great to come after work with a few friends and enjoy some food and cocktails.

I've been here 3x with my girlfriends and with each time we keep coming back, the experience has been... meh. So we're done. Which is so unfortunate because the themed nights are so promising!! The first time: We came for their Halloween bash on a Tuesday night and didn't realize that it was hosted by a singles meet up organization--which was totally fine! Katch's IG post said if you arrived at 7pm, you'd get a free shot. We arrived earlier and I guess they weren't prepared, because into the party, they were handing out the shots, and the server handing out the shots asked us where our wristbands were (which we didn't get because they distributed those after we came in), and only gave it to us because she remembered that we were the first ones to arrive. The bartenders explained to us their happy hour and then suddenly two drink menus were given to us and we were confused which ones were discounted and which ones weren't and only found out once we got the drinks and had to pay immediately (they weren't opening tabs) that the ones we ordered were not the discounted ones. Sigh. We eventually left because their drinks were ok (specifically the cider mojito -- there is no cider taste at all lol) and the party itself wasn't that fun. Come on, how do y'all mess up a singles party? The second time: We first saw on IG that they updated their brunch menu -- specifically the giant Margarita -- and we KNEW we had to have it. It's HUGE!! It's a lot of alcohol and so much fun to share and drink with your girlfriends. You have to share it with like 3 girls -- we were only 2, but again, it is a lot. To pair with my giant margarita, I wanted to order something omelette-y (I really hate Benedict's, tbh I think they're overrated, and this menu was full of Benny's), and the only omelette they had on the menu was a MASSIVE omelette!! Uhhh, it's also a lot, which I kind of wish I knew? Like the portion could feed 2 people!! But the omelette was fine, nothing to really run back for. The servers/managers were funny because I asked for toast with my omelette, and people kept coming back how we found our meal and I just kept asking for toast and everyone kept responding, " Toast? Uh... ok." It was like 3 people who kept responding as if they hadn't heard of toast before. Eventually they gave me buttered toast and charged me for biscuits. Ok, sure. My friends enjoyed their steak and eggs and corned beef hash Benedict. It's eerie that the restaurant was so dead during prime brunch time 1pm, and it was also tacky that the staff was taking down the Halloween decorations during operating hours... The third time: We came back for the Girls Night Out experience, because to be quite honest, you can't get that in NYC!! However, the experience less than ideal: - The event was scheduled from 5-6:30pm, and what time did it start? 6:30pm. No announcement, no heads up, nothing. The advertisement even said that doors would open at 4pm, so I really felt bad for those who came at 4, if any! - The disorganization was crazy, too -- we sat at a table, then was kicked out of the table because we didn't order food, and yet we saw another pair who didn't order food sitting at a table. - The stage was so small for the dancers that they barely had any room and the location of the stage just wasn't ideal at all. There's beams everywhere in the restaurant blocking your view unless you're at the front, front. - I felt bad for a group of older women who sat at a nice booth, but then had to strain their necks to see anything on the stage. - They had drinks specials that weren't that special -- their lychee mojito tasted nothing of lychee!! The performers were amazing, though, and did their very best to give a great show! The emcee was not great: he didn't scan anyone's tickets, he gave wristbands out so late, and didn't do a very good job emcee'ing. I also didn't enjoy that even though you paid for the event, people who were just coming to the bar/restaurant on a whim pretty much got to see the event for free since the event wasn't blocked off from the public. TLDR: I wanted to love this place, but I also get why no one is inside: unorganized, lack of communication, the restaurant needs a whole renovation because the placement of where everything is like a DJ set up or a stage are not good locations!

Just had my work party here in December and we had an absolutely wonderful time! This is such a perfect space for an event like this -- huge bar, gorgeous heated backyard area, and of course, those pass around apps! The dinner spread was curated perfectly, I don't think I could have done it better myself! Chicken Marsala, Steak, Grilled Shrimp and a nice little pasta dish to top it off! Definitely gonna come back for dinner to Katch soon and may just book my next family event with their catering brand Grand Affaire

Best sports bar loads of TVs indoor and covered outdoor area . Friendly staff I had the chicken wings very good. The owners are as nice as can be very accommodating. They do need menus instead of the QR codes.

You are ridiculous. I tried to spend New year's eve there this year (for the 3rd time) I had my 12 grapes because it's tradition for us Hispanics to eat 12 grapes at midnight, and you guys didn't let me in because of that. How ridiculous is that. Your mom (I believe is your mom) the owner, asked me a bunch of questions if I was going to be by myself and where? Which I responded I'm by myself! And she gave me a weird judgemental look. Wake up lady, it's almost 2025, and women go out by themselves. I spent last New years' Eve at your bar and the year before, and guess what I had grapes with me, and I didn't have an issue.Be culturally aware and "consistent" with your so called rules. I have 10+ years carrying grapes with me and I've never had a problem before. I guess you guys are swimming in money now and not begging for people to go to your bar anymore after the pandemic? I'm a local, and you should be embarrassed of treating a local who always supports your bar like that. I hope this is the year you go bankrupt Shame on you. You need to do better

I debated on whether or not I should write this review but felt it was needed. Just coming from a relaxing massage and looking to break the fast with some drinks and a comfort meal, we came here. The establishment opened at 12, and we got there right upon opening. The restaurant is mostly bar seating, so if you have lumbar issues, you won't be comfortable. The hostess couldn't be nicer - it was probably our favorite part of this entire experience. We ordered the unlimited brunch drinks. I asked for a passion fruit margarita with salt on the rim, and my companions ordered a regular margarita, one with salt, one without salt. The drinks arrived. The passion margarita came without salt. The other 2 plain margaritas came with salt IN then and on the rim. The drinks tasted like rubbing alcohol and sea water. My cup had a massive crack in it. We asked our waiter if we could change our drinks. He said we could, and this time, we asked for 2 red sangrias and 1 prosecco. He came back with 3 red sangrias. We didn't want to start anything, so we left the order as is. The sangria was also not great- it came out of a box. We ordered an appetizer of mac and cheese bites, a cheeseburger with fries, corn beef hash with eggs and hollandaise, and Hennessy ribs over cheesy grits and eggs. The mac and cheese bites looked more like wedges arrived still frozen in the middle. We contemplated canceling our order and leaving but decided to give them some grace. They re-fired the mac and cheese, and guess what... not frozen this time, but it was definitely cold in the middle. The entrees were absolutely terrible. The burger, which was asked for medium rare, came well done. The fries were stale. The corned beef hash tasted like it was cooked in old oil or the cast iron skillet it was served in was not fully cleaned - it did not taste good. The eggs and hollandaise were rubbery. The Hennessy ribs were decent but advertised as 4 ribs... I got 3 baby back ribs. There's a difference. The grits were dry and shaped like a brick. They were void of any seasoning and were very unpleasant. I ate the eggs as they were the only palatable thing on the plate - and 1 baby back rib. We were absolutely put off and asked for the manager who took a long time to arrive as she was mopping the floors in the back of the restaurant. She was just as unpleasant as the food. When we shared how our experience had been thus far, she argued that it was simply a matter of our preference because she hadn't received any other complaints... mind you, the restaurant was literally opened for 45 mins. I'm sure there were more complaints later in the day. She offered us more food, which we declined, she also offered us more drinks, which we also declined. She offered to comp our appetizer, and we asked her to comp our meals. She did so begrudgingly. Despite declining, she still arrived with more drinks even tho we didn't touch the ones we currently had. We agreed to pay for our unlimited drinks, but she swiped our card and said,'You can leave now'. She took our complaints personally and needed to take it up with her chef, not us. We understand that fried food and cheap drinks definitely has its audience but this was inedible and careless. Department of Health needs to pay this establishment a visit. Their manager is absolutely rude, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this place on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Terrible food. Terrible drinks. And terrible customer service.

Came to have brunch with siblings and friends on a rainy day. There was barely anyone there when we arrived probably due to the bad weather. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted very well and give a seat. The place smelled a bit like moldy mop and Clorox which was a bit off putting. I ordered bottomless brunch mimosas and chicken and waffle sandwich for my entree. As an appetizer, we ordered jalapeños poppers. It was a waste of $14; they were extremely spicy and did not have the (I like spicy but I have had jalapeños poppers that are not spicy to that extent.) The chicken and waffle sandwich was just ok, the waffles were not crispy and were soggy and flavorless. The chicken had a good flavor to it and the fries were decent. Our server was very friendly and attentive but the way the food was served was a bit odd; only one person at the table received their food and then 10 minutes later the rest of the table received their food. I would probably visit this bar again to watch a sports event and have a drink but not for their food unfortunately.

This place is truly the perfect Catch !!! I was hooked on the food !! Such perfect bites especially the wings !! The Mac and cheese is super creamy !! A great place to hang out and have a cold beer the vibe is super laid Back which is great and the staff is friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back in the summer and enjoy

Honestly I came here to watch the Colombia vs Uruguay game from far and I had the most worse experience ever. To keep things short and simple I understand that the restaurant was busy that day but service and management was so poor I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Our waitress was HORRIBLE and worse beyond her was the MANAGER. SHORT HAIRED LADY was very RUDE. Refused to listen to our complaints or work with us and tried to Force us to pay for expired beer. I never write a review but this experience was so BAD I pray people read this review and avoid this restaurant at all cost. FOOD: was 1/10 BEER: -5/10 STAFF: 0/10 OVERALL SERVICE: -100/10 And I left a complaint on their instagram and they blocked me and deleted my comments lol

This place was such a disappointment! We should have known the second we walked in the place was completely empty. So it was a party of three , the waitress included on the pics was all over the place keep in mind the restaurant was empty ! She bring our first set of BOTTOMLESS drinks and we ordered an appetizer, she brings it with no plates or utensils 15 min pass she shows up we have to ask her to refill our BOTTOMLESS glasses and ask her for utensils and to take back our appetizer because it was now cold since we had no forks or plates . She disappears for another 15 min again our cups are just empty - finally our appetizer comes Out as again ask her to refill our cups - then our meal comes out I had steak and eggs and as you can see in the picture included it was absolutely disgusting and not appetizing looked like vomit on a plate . The other plate of banana pancakes looked like a soup and the other dish was incorrect she ordered grits and got fries . It was a complete mess - and then on top of that the waitress had a nasty Bronx attitude she needs to not be working there and maybe try her hand at McDonald's . Never again ! Don't go here !!!!!!

Walked into this bar/ restaurant early and they provided a lot that other bars or restaurants didn't. Consistency, good service and patience. The workers and servers made our day with their great personalities and we hope we made their day as well!

Amazing customer service here! Arrived early and they served us right away. The happy hour is amazing as well. I hope this business continues to strive with its wonderful workers

This catering was referred by my hotel when I booked their ballroom for event. When they contacted me, they just keep ask me to sign the contract and pay, however, I don't even know what food and service they can provide. After I ask for previous events pictures so I can share with my team for discussion, they can only send one or two pictures. I try to ask for more pictures they just said that's all they have and keep ask me to sign contract again? I really don't know why the hotel will refer them, feel like they had done very very limited events. Also, from the pic, the food and decorations looks very very plain and not worth the cost. They quoted me $1000 for coffee table only. However, I can order from Starbucks coffee to feed 100 people for $300 and use another $200 to buy nice hot beverage dispenser and decorations. That's why I say it doesn't worth the cost.

Absolutely horrible. We booked a boozy brunch reservation for my sis bday 2 wks prior. When we arrived it's a sports bar .. sports were playing no dj. No brunch. On sports days they play only sports could not accommodate us at all..at least tell us that instead of booking us and showing up to find out otherwise. Or call us to let us know prior. Some of us drove 3 hours to get there.

An amazing restaurant wouldn't be successful without an amazing server and that wouldn't have been possible without the help of my server Dayanara. She was very attentive and sweet and made sure my family and I had a great time and not one attitude was given whenever I had her going back and forth, very patient! As far as the food, I had the salmon bowl and it was far beyond than I expected!! Spectacular! Recommend this a place and would definitely come back again

Love, a place where I can feel right at home rooting for the Mets and get a great deal on drinks and dinner. Happy hour specials here off the charts, and the cocktails are worth every penny. Solid sliders and nachos to pair with a delicious Blue Hawaiian. This is a great place to watch the game and to receive excellent service from Constantina and Roseanne! Definitely try the churros a la mode for dessert as well.

I came for brunch with a friend. No menus, only QR codes (does anyone like that?!) and the website menu is unusually difficult to navigate on a phone. Strange sound system that seemed to be piping in what was happening at a party somewhere in the restaurant into the main dining area, which was very annoying. Food was not good, meat was tough in my ribs thing. Good beer selection though, I'll give them that. I think this is really more of an event space than a restaurant. Maybe it's a good event space.

We have been using Katch Astoria as a partner with the QueensBaseballConvention.com for years now. First as a venue and now as well with their Grand Affaire Catering offsite. The owners care about their customers and will go out of their way to try to make your event whether in house or off site as awesome as possible. The food is really good and they have a wide selection of beer on tap. The outdoor area of Katch is a great addition to the restaurant and a great place to hold an event.

I like to thank the owner an her lovely staff for a great experience at Katch the food was really great a there hospitality was amazing. thank you for a great time brunch.

Went here to see a comedian I follow. Paid $55 to sit in a tent and freeze. We were not told at the time of purchase that it would be outdoors. Then the owner acts like she did us a favor in moving some of us indoors to a table. And the only reason she did that was because no one had purchased seats for the $35 extra she wanted. This is a sports bar, you had to be eating at least $35 worth of food (according to Roseanne, the owner) to be able to sit indoors at a table. Totally ridiculous since I'm sure the owner made out great off of the show. The extra drinks she sold, the extra food she sold which I hear is not that great either and the valet parking not to mention whatever cut she got from the ticket sales also. The show was great but I would not recommend this place.

We came here for an F&F brunch because this place was billed as "family-friendly" and we had a couple of people bring their kids. We were seated inside and the place was sweltering and unbearably hot. When we went to the restrooms towards the back, they had outdoor seating which was way cooler. From the get-go, our waiter was this slowest and unresponsive person known to mankind. It was like it was his first day there. He didn't bring half of the things we wanted and almost never checked in until we flagged him down. We had to ask for napkins/utensils, water, and even plates to eat. We had to find someone to get the bill and he left it without coming back for it. We tried ordering some slushies or frozen drinks but, were told that they don't have any. I am surprised since they had a line of blenders sitting near the bar that looked clean and ready to go. One person ordered a froze and said it was flat like it was old wine. We ordered a few appetizers to share in addition to ordering brunch. I ordered the trashcan nachos and they came after I finished my entree. I am not sure how that happened when we waited more than an hour after ordering to get any food. The nachos were a huge disappointment and waste of money. All the toppings and cheese were on the bottom and when flipped it's on the top. However, the layers and layers of chips underneath had no cheese, sauce, or topping. The chicken that we added on was dry and pretty much tasteless. My cousin ordered fries and said they were okay. For my entree, I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle and chicken were both dry and weren't very flavorful. I definitely had better. The menu said jalapeno butter but, it didn't have any heat at all. It tasted like regular butter. One of us got the hangover special, which was okay. He got pita bread instead of English muffins and the guacamole was brown and tasted sour. A few of us got a combination of steak and eggs. Almost everyone agreed that the steak wasn't cooked like they asked and it was dry. And as per the photo, some of the plates got meager portions. The eggs benedict was served with a teaspoon worth of potatoes. Overall, the food looked good but, it had poor execution and not cooked per request with meager portions. What's the point of asking how do you want your steak done if you are not going to do it?

Katch is a great sports bar. Having lived in both Miami and Vegas, we know sports bars and this one checks all the boxes. They have all the games, music during commercial breaks, and the ability to see every game from anywhere in the bar. The food is great. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, the wings are a must try and they come with blue cheese. Buffalonians know what I'm talking about. This is a a family owned and operated establishment, so show them some love and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Came here for my sister's brunch and ordered a round of shots. Food and service FROM OUR WAITRESS was well. However, when ordering our first round the manager Rosanne decided to come to our table. She was very disrespectful when telling us the price for our round. We were well aware of the price beforehand, and the way she went about it the rude. After letting her know we were well aware, she proceeded to tell us "You aren't understanding". We aren't sure what her purpose was have to reassure us multiple times that we knew the price. I don't want to assume anything but we did feel targeted. Won't be coming back because she ruined a good time. Otherwise, our waitress was very nice and took care of us well.

Absolutely wonderful! We had brunch here last month and had such and awesome experience that we also booked our wedding. Amazing event, amazing staff & service and amazing food. CHOOSE KATCH!

I came here with a group of 9 people. Wow their service was horrendous. I wasn't impressed. It took awhile before we got our glasses of water. They have qr codes instead of paper menus which is fine, but the waitress never came by to have us scan it. Anyways, when we finally got to scan the menu, we wanted to do the boozy brunch, but apparently that Sunday since it was a game day they didn't offer it. That's fine. For the table we ordered Buffalo Chicken Macaroni & Cheese which was good. I ordered a pancake shot (it came with cripsy bacon on the side, orange juice, and Jameson) for myself which was just eh and ordered the spicy Mexican (it has tequila, fresh jalapeño, lime, and ginger beer) which was refreshing. We also ordered the 30 wings for the table too which were all assorted. The mambo combo French fry platter (French Fries Trio: truffle fries, garlic parmesan fries, and cheese & bacon fries) was ordered too. All in all, I'm debating on going back especially with the mediocre service.

Theres only Street parking around here and depending on what time you arrive or what event you come here for it will be very difficult to find a spot, so I would say, just take a taxi here or take the train it is just a block away from the bar. The place is pretty spacious and they have a back yard with plenty of seats and TVs as well. The service is pretty friendly and the staff is pretty lively. They currently have a brunch menu and a bottomless deal for a good price and you get to drink as much as u can for 2 hours. The only problem we had is that during the pandemic they have very limited amounts of staff so they got pretty busy, but they tried their best! We almost didnt get enough drinks during our brunch hours but the owners were super nice and made sure to extend our brunch as they were short staffed! and the wait staff was super nice to move our sitting when we were getting cold sitting outside. HANGOVER BURGER- I had they burger and I must say this was a pretty good burger! I would have it again in a heartbeat! perfect taste and fresh ingredients! there isn't much I can say about burgers as we all know what they should look and taste like but I can safely say this was a pretty nice burger that I would definitely come here to have it again. Overall we started the day kind of frustrated with the staff being so busy and our drinks taking so long but in the end of the day the staff was awesome and the owners made sure to make it right by us! I would definitely come back and recommend the place to my friends.

Rough experience. The wait staff are awesome, super kind and attentive, however the food is not great. It's hard to mess up a quesadilla, but the cheese was still cold inside a floppy tortilla. I've also had some questionable chicken here. I would love for this place to be great because it's a huge space with great music. However, management should not scold their staff in front of customers - discussing how they are using party food for lunch the next day. The conflicting music between inside and the party was also a whole lot. I hope they turn it around!

Food is bad, service is bad and the drinks are bad. You can taste that they are made with cheap alcohol. I had dinner here with my friends and I got the lemon chicken dish. It was like a rubber band and very bland. The back room is cold and crappy. Water on the floor. Very dangerous. Im surprised this place is still open. Will never come here again.

Beware if you are booking Katch Astoria for an event! We booked the outside patio for a group event, after being assured it would be private if we reserved it and ordered off the catering menu. The catering menu was more expensive but we paid it because we knew we were paying increased prices to account for using the space. Fast forward to the day of the event..it was during a heat wave so the catering manager called the day of to ask if we would want to move inside to a semi-private space because of the heat (even though it said online they had air conditioners and fans to account for the heat on the patio). We agreed to move inside but when we arrived, we weren't in a semi-private area at all - just a high top table at the back of the restaurant. The music was very loud, the seating wasn't ideal for talking and having a group program, so they offered to move us outside, but they had already seated a group on the back patio who they said would be there for a very long time and were being very loud. We were told that even if we were to be using the back patio, it was fit for 200 people and since we only had 25 (even though we reserved it and ordered through the catering menu), they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't be used by others. To top it all off, it took forever to get our food, the steak was overdone, the ceasar salad was a bed of lettuce with hardly any dressing, and the manager keep turning up the music louder. We were very disappointed that Katch didn't uphold their end of the bargain per our agreement and what they advertise and guarantee. If you are wanting to use their space for a group event, it would be worth double checking you are getting a private space before you pay more than you would to order off the regular menu. And even then, the food wasn't good so I wouldn't pay their catering prices or eat there in general.

Came here on a recommendation of a friend of a friend. Now my point of the night was to grab drinks. I just wanted to chill and catch up with a friend. So why we walk into the loudest place of all time??? There was a $20 cover charge because some sporting event that I wasn't aware of was going on. And the lady in the front put mine on so tight the blood circulation stopped for right hand. We sat down and we had a waiter that was being trained. The place itself was very much a dive bar for sports fanatics. The staff was nice but the service was off. These top notch drinks were serves in 16oz plastic cups. My friend ordered food which looked just ok. It wasn't the best vibe honestly. I couldn't hear myself let alone my friend. I don't think I would come back here honestly. Just not for me.

Went to a birthday brunch here with a table of 20. While the waitresses were nice, the food wasn't too appetizing and the drinks weren't strong. The brunch was advertised as boozy brunch but "according to the managers rules, you can't have more than 4 pitchers at a table". Each pitcher is halfway filled with ice so you could only get 4 glasses maybe... leaving others to not have a drink towards the end of boozy brunch. Makes no sense. I ordered steak and eggs and fries, a pretty easy dish to make. At first, the dish came out with home fries so i sent it back. Then it came back with fries but with scrambled eggs, and finally the owner brought me out the correct dish but the steak was way over cooked by then.... The owner was nice to bring over birthday shots for the table but the "tequila" shots were 75% water and 25% tequila. I would skip this place and find another boozy brunch alternative. Plenty of places in Astoria / the city.

The staff is sweet but they really cut down their food menu to basically nothing and I was starving so I ordered the wings. When they came out.. I took one bit and looked at my friend and said "hell nah" like it was horrrrrrrrid. I can't believe this place and it's menu got so bad. Don't bother to go here for food (sadly people come for sporting events and there literally nothing to order) Never again sadly.

Food is not that great for the price. It reminds me of the belaire diner on 21st and Broadway. Food just as bad as well. Gordan ramsay should straighten this place.out too. The staff is very nice but I feel bad for some of the girls they look miserable at times. The owners probably not taking care of them right. They do not look happy such a shame. Would not recommend this place to even someone I didn't like. I would rate this place -5 but since this site won't allow it.

Honestly don't understand why this place has so many bad reviews. I went there saturday night to watch a fight and overall everything was good. We only ordered nachos and it was pretty decent food. Service was great, we requested the prelims and they put it on the tv right away, server was super friendly. the big tower (128 oz) with lagunitas was 68$ also not a bad price. Ambiance was awesome, the atmosphere during the ufc ppv was really good so if you like fights this is the place to go..

We were coming to support a local event for brunch and this will be our first and last time at this restaurant. 1) they were so short staffed, it was hard to flag down a waiter to even get us utensils for our food (I was gonna bite into our raw steaks with my hands). 2) the steak frites and OVERPRICED Mac n cheese we got as part of our lunch was terrible. THE Mac n cheese easily tasted like low grade velveeta and the steak was so raw (I asked for a medium rare) and under seasoned, that I swear I could hear it moo. That steak was so red and bloody; the fat wasn't even rendered (the fat was still white). If you don't want food poisoning, stay away. 3) The serving sizes was also so underwhelming, it made me wonder what I was paying for.
