Overall the food was AMAZING! 🤩 This was my first time ever trying Indian cuisine and my god it was so tasty! They don’t skimp on the portions at all! I paid around $37 and they gave me enough food to feed a family of 3! lol 😝 Honesty I recommend this place. If I knew this hidden jem existed before I would’ve reviewed this place earlier lol

I though it just looked ugly but it tasted nasty as well. The delivery order looked like someone took a bite out of it. They should definitely not have this in their go menu if they can’t cook it dry. It was bland and no Indian flavor in it. Also, fries I ordered looked cooked from freezer and no freshness in it.

The wrap or paratha or whatever was so leathery, and the flavor was terrible too. On top of that, we had to drive around in circles looking for the place, and when we called we found out the place is inside Kapoor’s akbar. Never coming here again.

Chicken Tikka Kati Roll had good flavor. Also enjoyed the Aloo Gobi Naan. I think the Aloo Gobi should have been in a Kati roll because the naan is thick. Overall pretty good, I’d come back if i was in the area.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very good and charming. Amazing food, I had Paneer Tandoori Frankie, and more, great recommendations.

This business appears to be permanently closed. I ordered through Clorder, which charged me and gave me a pickup time in 30 minutes. I went down for a pickup, and the restaurant was shut down. I couldn't tell if it was just for the evening or permanent. I caleld the Kati Roll phone number and it was out of service. I called Clorder, waited on hold for 10 minutes, and finally left a message with my phone number and issue. I've not received any return call. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. It's a shame because I have really enjoyed the food from Kati Roll on previous occasions. Call first, I guess.

This place is my new favorite go-to for when I'm craving Indian -- it's delicious, affordable and you can taste the care and attention they put into their food. The chicken tikka, tikka masala and paneer kati rolls are all incredible -- I got mine with the makhani sauce and a side of cheese naan, made for delicious leftovers at lunch the next day. The naan is the best I've had and the texture and flavor of the kati rolls is perfection. Size is wholesome and hearty without being too much and the paneer/chicken inside is generous for price. I'm excited to check out the bowls next -- they're a deal compared to what I am used to paying for Indian food in Silver Lake. They also packed everything with care so it was piping hot when it arrived home (individually in foil, then in a box with the naan wrapped inside on top of Kati rolls inside box too to provide extra insulation and warmth) -- really thoughtful. Not sure why they have mixed reviews -- guessing it's clout-chasing Yelpers being obnoxious, because this place is a true gem. Will be back soon!

First off, I am Indian so I know the difference between good and bad Indian food. This place is horrifically BAD! I was looking forward to trying this place after a seeing it on social media. I went in and ordered two vegetarian Frankies and the cheese naan. I was told the wait was 30 mins so I left and came back 40 mins later. As soon as I walked in they immediately announced they were out of the aloo gobi Frankie and asked what I wanted to do. Sigh... so I look at the incredibly limited vegetarian menu and order the channa masala with paneer (not actually on the menu). Then I wait another 10-15 mins while the chef Kapoor breaths allllll over my food b/c apparently masks aren't a thing for him. (See photos). I get home after almost an hour, and open the cheese naan. First of all it was grossly undercooked. Second, the naan is filled with cheddar and CREAM CHEESE. What in the world? Raw dough, uncooked cheese, and cream cheese? (See photos) Absolutely horrific. I then attempt the Frankie only to find chicken in it!!! At this point I'm livid and I call them. The lady listens and then tells chef Kapoor what happened. She forgot to put me on mute and I hear him say "she's lying! She just doesn't want to pay for her food! I cooked it myself!" I listen to him rant for about ten mins, while the lady enthusiastically agrees and hangs up on me afterwards. I call back and she laughs and says they offer me a refund, which I'm pretty sure wont happen. Check out the photos I've uploaded and avoid this place at all cost! It's not worth the time, money, and blatant disrespect of customers and public health measures. Oh and chef Kapoor, don't call your customers liars and thieves.

We are craving rolls after dodger game. The rolls are very fresh and damm good taste The fish and chicken tikka masala are my favorite. Over all, the location is great casual stop for high quality food

Ordered all vegetarian food as my friends are vegetarian and they get uncomfortable when there is meat around them. Got 2 paneer and instead of vegetable Kati roll, I got chicken. Other than that the vegetarian rolls were good. Had to throw away the chicken roll after my friend accidentally took a bite of it.

Like I noted in the tips, this place is located in the same restaurant as Kapoor's Akbar Indian restaurant. I got lost trying to find the place since there was no directions or signs to let you know this is in the same place. I was doing a gig for the School of Visual and Performing Arts and my crew was hungry. We agreed on Indian for lunch and this was easily within walking distance. My less adventurous crew all ordered the chicken tikka masala bowls and I ordered the chicken tikka masala Frankie. I also ordered the cheese naan and plain roti to ensure we had enough to eat. The bowls were a decent portion and the sauce was too spicy for one of my crew members (he doesn't like any spice) but I personally found the levels to be perfect - you can feel the heat but it doesn't deter from the flavor. The sauce seemed more traditional, not loaded with heavy cream like the American/English versions. The Frankie was good - the bread (I'm can't remember if it was naan or roti) was soft and the filling was yummy. My only complaint is that there wasn't much meat and it was mostly vegetables. I can't really comment on the plain roti since they had run out of dough and had to quickly make more for my order. As a baker, I could tell the texture wasn't right due to it being rushed and the gluten not having proper time to develop. The star of the show, in my opinion, was the cheese naan. It was amazing and I would come back just for this. I'm not sure what exactly they use, but there is something creamy and tangy (maybe yogurt?) they have mixed in with the cheese that makes these things stupid addicting. I will definitely be coming back to try some other items on their menu.

If I could give 0 I would. I ordered pickup and was told it was ready. The location was not open. The owner answered and put me on hold for 20 minutes then hung up. I called 10 more times to no answer. Wasted over an hour on Christmas Eve trying to get a dinner that never existed. Thank you for wasting my time.

The chicken tikka masala frankie was damm good. It is first time ordered indian street food after few friends recommendation I hope they will keep same consistent food

Recently came across with this wonderful and amazing Kati roll co . It was a weekend so feeling lazy to go out at restaurant so chose to place order from Kati roll co . It was delivered within 15-20 minutes and great packaging. Before delivery I got a call for directions to warm up my Kati rolls so that I experience the restaurant feeling of fresh and hot. I followed all the directions for warming up and I was really amazed with the texture of paneer and softness of bread, really great taste. Great customer service I personally feel this is the best Kati roll I had in Los Angeles. I am definitely ordering for my next party . Go for this one this is THE BEST.

It's a CRIME that this place isn't more highly rated. I adore their sit down restaurant, but this ghost kitchen is just the place to get convenient and delicious take out sandwiches. Their sauces are incredible and do not sleep on the pistachio lassi. I am always happily satisfied after getting a meal here. Go try it and leave this great family joint a review!

I am always on a lookout for good Indian food. This one was really good. You get near to authentic flavors and side items like Lassi is tasty too.

I tried chicken tikka Kati roll and my boyfriend had paneer tikka naan roll. We are Indian's and this roll was not even close to KATI roll concept which is more like burrito. Roti roll was all messy. I had to eat the roti separate from gravy/chicken. With paneer roll, it was very dry, no gravy only marinated paneer. Taste 6/10.

In my recent visit to LA, I tried this place based on my friend's recommendation and the food was very good.I will come back here again!

It's a shame I have to give this place 1 star, because their food is delicious. Everything else though - terrible. When you click on Place an order via Google Maps, there's options for DoorDash or Clorder. Their restaurant doesn't load on DoorDash, so we went to Clorder. I put in my whole order and selected delivery, and only at the end did it say delivery not possible. Then, I ordered for pickup - no issues there. We get to the restaurant 30 minutes later (which is INSIDE Kapoor's by the way, no signs indicating the actual location), when they tell us they never received our order. Apparently this is a recurring issue, where orders submitted on Clorder don't go through to them. So now we've already paid Clorder, and have to re-order and pay at Kati Roll in person, and wait another 40 minutes. (We had to separately contact Clorder to get a refund.) Though our receipt was correct, when we got home we saw that all of the KATI ROLLS we ordered were their Frankie sandwiches instead. Disappointed in the terrible ordering and overall experience when the food is quite tasty. Hope they fix their system soon and sign up properly DoorDash or Postmates.

Was so excited to find this Indian street food favorite I haven't seen in LA. The service that is responsive and friendly started off the experience on a positive note. All the dishes are between $9 and $13 and are more than enough for one meal. The Kati roll, on a soft paratha is a favorite of my friends from Kolkata. It's more doughy than a naan so it feels more of a meal than any old kind of a "wrap." The stuffing still has everything in it that you want from a sandwich with an variety of assorted veggies, cheese, meat, paneer or cheese and soy. The menu has Chicken Tikka Kati Roll, Fried Chicken, Crispy Fish, Paneer Makhani Kati Roll, Tofu Makhani Kati Roll. The lingering taste of the spices (coriander makes it taste familiar and exotic at the same time), have just enough spiciness for heat and are not prickly in your mouth. We shared and tried the frankies made with wheat roti and wrapped in tin foil like the Indian street versions. We shared the Chicken Tikka Masala, Crispy Fish, Paneer Tandoori, Aloo Gobi. We loved that the Kati rolls are packed in paper, like they are in India. Lassis are off the charts. Had to try one of each strawberry, blueberry, mixed berry and the pistachio in addition to the regular mango. It's a simple drink with milk, fruit and yogurt but not easy to get right and here it is done right in terms of quality and the right proportions that don't take short cuts.

Good Indian street style food. This is basically an Indian dish wrapped around a warm naan or parantha. Each bite gets a good mixture of bread and curry.
