Where to Order Takeout for Super Bowl Sunday in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"With multiple locations around the city and surrounding areas, the popular fast-casual chain serves a slew of panko-breaded, deep-fried meats for its burgers. While beef, chicken, and even tofu are options, pork is the classic way to go, fantastic with mayo and tonkatsu sauce. Add nori fries and green tea milkshakes to wash it all down. All outposts feature takeout." - Gabe Guarente

Google
Hands down, 💯 the best burger I ever had. Juicy, fresh, and tasted like heaven. The food shows that have been here, can not describe the incredible taste of the burgers! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Google
I got what's apparently the Umami Wagyu burger from this place, which is a katsu-breaded wagyu patty, swiss cheese, bacon, onions, and a few other toppings This burger was giving me a weird taste until about halfway through - until I realized the tomatoes & the tonkatsu sauce were combining for a weirdly sour and not attractive combination. I removed the tomatoes from the burger at this point, and it started to taste a lot better It started to taste better at this point The patty is just ok - the breading is light, and the patty is pretty overcooked. The bacon is also missing for the most part, and I wouldn't call it crispy. However, the rest of the toppings are quite good There's a lot of mayo, which adds a ton of flavor to each bite. The cheese is also melted well - but I especially liked the cabbage and onions, specifically the amount that they were on this burger. It was pretty nice to get such a variety of different flavors with each bite The spicy mayo-like sauce provided on the side is also a great addition to the burger The fries here are decent, seasoned well, but not very crisp on the outside nor soft on the inside This burger is really big. Like it was huge - not height wise, but definitely width-wise. Even though it cost about $20, which is a ton for a burger, I think it's big enough that you can kind of justify the price Overall, it's a pretty solid burger, but I definitely would get the tomatoes removed next time, and also probably a different meat. 7.25/10

Google
Hark, mortals! I, a conjurer of considerable renown and possessor of a palate accustomed to ambrosia and the subtle flavors of starlight, have deigned to sample the fare at this establishment known as "Katsu Burger." The concept, as it were, appears to be a mundane sandwich – a "burger," they call it – wherein a slab of fried… something… is inserted between halves of a commonplace bun. The menu, a scroll of limited enchantment, offers various permutations of this base concept, often adorned with peculiar sauces and accompanied by fried tubers. While the establishment's history reveals a more promising genesis – founded, as it was, by a culinary artisan of some repute, a James Beard award recipient by the name of Hajime Soto – alas, it seems the alchemical spark has long since been extinguished with his departure. The current custodians appear to have allowed the magic to dissipate into the mundane. However… (and it pains my refined sensibilities to admit a positive attribute to such an unassuming establishment) their concoction known as the Kinako & Black Sesame Shake possesses a certain… intriguing quality. The flavors, a curious blend of nutty earthiness and subtle sweetness, did, I confess, momentarily pique my interest. A fleeting spark of the original enchantment, perhaps? Alas, the Chicken Tokyo Classic proved a dismal affair. The poultry itself was of questionable origin, tasting as though it had been summoned from a rather bleak dimension. The accompanying sauce was a substandard concoction, lacking any discernible magical essence. Indeed, the most palatable element was the humble sliced onion, a testament to the overall mediocrity. Therefore, heed my arcane pronouncements! While its origins hinted at culinary sorcery, the current state of Katsu Burger suggests that the enchantment has faded. Unless your desires are solely fixated upon a surprisingly palatable milkshake – a ghost of the former glory, perhaps – I would steer your earthly vessels clear. The remainder of their offerings are unlikely to enchant even the most undiscerning of palates. You have been warned.

Google
We got the pork katsu burger, the pork katsu ninja, and a side of curry fries, and it was all absolutely fantastic. Spent around $34 for two of us which seems about normal for lunch at a restaurant these days, unfortunately. But the staff was helpful and the restaurant was fun and interesting. Would go back.

Google
Horrible, as if it were high levels of humidity, I ran out with the food but all of it had that disgusting smell, a city inspector should check this out, the allergy in my lungs was immediate, better to order online if you dare you will receive a burger with a musty smell! High price for its quality

Google
It is a Japanese fusion burger. Huge portion, taste is ok/ average. I will recommend if you closed by

Google
Absolutely love Katsu burger, this one out of all their locations also has better pricing! The meal deal is always great and you get a ton of food! The staff here is also awesome! Small parking lot but always seem to find a spot!

Google
Excellent people, Excellent burgers, prepare for and alternate ultimate dimensional shift into flavor town. Forever and always not to be missed. Dont forget the sauces and try the green tea and chai milkshakes.

Yelp
Stopped in for first time , What i had, was far better than i expected . Stopped at neighboring teriyaki joint and whist waiting for order i went into Katsu Burger I don't remember what it was because i just "whatever" not expecting much. got down road and was delighted with size and taste. Will definitely eat at this place again.

Yelp
Unique and delicious menu. The burgers were amazing, the sesame milkshake, and the curry fries were a great side. This location had a lot of cool Japanese art that added to the ambiance.

Yelp
Very unique and filling burgers. I was pleasantly surprised! The young lady taking our order was a little slow in taking the order and we had to repeat a few times, but she was sweet and apologetic and even wrote on ticket my change, but unfortunately they got my husband's and son's wrong. But my husband's was a quick fix and I pulled out what my son didn't want with no issue.

Yelp
Over a year since my first review and still fantastic. In this day and age, as businesses, sadly, come and go -- all too often retro trendy spots that have been around for a long time - then it's something to say that the quality of the experience at a restaurant is still 5 stars. Got the katsu tofu burger with an egg added (recommend - add the egg, makes everything come together) and the 12-spice fries. My family member who was craving a burger got the chicken katsu and added pineapple and ginger. Yum. Add to this friendly service (they have added order kiosks since I last came - I'm fine with that!). I loved seeing the range of customers who come in here on a weekday. Folks that work nearby in hands-on labor jobs. Folks who live or work farther afield yet still stop by for a good sandwich and a memorable meal. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Amazing flavor and nori fries are on point. They have a great selection of ways to make your burger or chicken sandwich

Yelp
Super delicious spot. If I could give it a 4.5 I would. Service was super fast and food was so good. The vibe was chill. I think the Godzilla burger was really good but the only downside is that it wasn't spicy at all. Other than that, super great.

Yelp
Burgers are diff than your traditional burgers. Very very delicious, juicy and flavorful. I'd recommend this place to anyone! The fries were so good too with their wasabi sauce!

Yelp
Prepare to ascend to burger heaven with the Tokyo Tower burger at Katsu Burger! This culinary masterpiece reaches new heights with layers of succulent katsu beef, gooey cheese, fresh lettuce, onions, tomato's and a variety of sauces, all nestled between two fluffy buns. I love wasabi so if you do too I'd recommend the wasabi mayo (on the burger and with the fries) Each bite is a symphony of flavors and textures, leaving your taste buds in awe. And let's not forget the ambience--a cozy, homey vibe that adds an extra layer of comfort to your dining experience. Don't just eat a burger, embark on a flavor-filled adventure with the Tower burger at Katsu Burger! I'd also recommend the fries with 12 spices... perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service was SENSATIONAL to say the least.

Yelp
Amazing HUGE Burgers! You can order for yourself on a big screen, in house, with many different options to choose from. Or you can order from an employee. They even have a free drink offer for First Responders! We ordered the Ninja Chicken Burger and it was ginormous. I had to figure out how to eat it and get a little of everything in one bite. So many toppings! I couldn't even finish it! But I was sure excited to eat the rest later. Extremely crispy chicken patty. And the slaw on top was a great addition when I was kinda uncertain about it at first. 10/10 The coleslaw was also great! 7.5/10. Better coleslaw than most BbQ places. The curry seasoned fries were ok! Definitely had a curry taste but it was kinda overpowering. Probably should have opted for just plain salted fries because I was excited to try the honey mustard. (Which I never actually tried because I was too full from my burger and two curry fries taste test.) Godzilla attack burger was also phenomenal. My brother said it went down nicely with a tasty vanilla shake. He's eaten here before many times so he must love the burgers. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

Yelp
Looking for something CRISPY and TENDER? This is the place for you! Paired with veggies, this well rounded burger is perfect for those who love Katsu! It's not too greasy and not too hard. The atmosphere of the restaurant is unique and gives a unique sense of place. I recommend coming here for a quick bite to eat, or for the experience!
google avatar

Yelp
It's definitely grubbin', but geez, how big do you think my mouth is? And relatedly, how many napkins do you expect me to use as the sauce drips down my arm because I'm desperately trying to shove this thing in my mouth?

Yelp
I'm surprised and disappointed. I ordered the Ohayou Gozaimasu burger with a side of their 12 pepper seasoned fries and a strawberry milkshake. The burger was a major disappointment; a dry, fairly bland katsu beef patty with an overcooked egg and mediocre bacon. The sandwich as a whole came across as dry despite the coleslaw being quite moist. The fries were over cooked and dry, and the seasoning wasn't particularly impressive. They're just basic shoestring fries - nothing special even if they weren't over cooked. The milkshake was the highlight of the meal, with good flavor and texture, and a sprinkle of graham cracker cookie on top that makes a nice finish to the drink. The restaurant's ambiance was nice - well laid out with attractive furnishings and reasonably clean. The table does not have additional condiments or seasoning, so be sure to ask for whatever you need when you order/pickup. The ordering experience was impersonal - placing your order on a giant touch-screen monitor. I had to poke around for a while to learn what everything was, as their big display menu boards weren't working. When you check out, the payment kiosk suggests tip amounts ranging from 15% to 25%. Note that you order yourself, pickup the order from the counter when the call your number, and bus your own table when you finish. Maybe I'm old school at my ripe old age of 41, but I always understood tipping to be for some sort of personal service - server, concierge, etc. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yelp
Easy, self-service menu upon entering. Very quick turnaround every time I've been there. The spices and options on the fries are 10/10!! An awesome, fast-food alternative burger joint that's still fast but also flavorful.

Yelp
We landed in Seattle on a Friday evening and were pretty hungry. Our first stop: Katsu Burger! We hopped out of our Uber and walked in, suitcases and all. The ordering process was super simple on the kiosks up front. We ordered a ninja deluxe chicken burger, a Tokyo classic beef burger and sea salt fries with miso honey mustard. Our order came out quick and piping hot. Everything was amazing! The ninja deluxe chicken burger was my favorite! The chicken katsu was so delicious! Juicy, flavorful chicken with that crunchy katsu breading, yum! The bacon, cheddar cheese and red onion were all great additions. The katsu beef burger was tender and very delicious! Hubby really loved this one. I thought the idea of a beef burger made katsu style was genius. Great idea and execution. The sea salt fries were fresh and crispy. Paired very well with the miso honey mustard. I loved how we were able to customize the burgers and choose between chicken, beef and pork. They also have a vegetarian option. Unique menu and delicious food. I'm jealous there isn't a location close to me. Until next time Katsu Burger!

Yelp
I think this place is a must try if you're visiting Seattle because it's definitely a memorable bite for me. I had the ohayou burger and it was fantastic. These burgers are massive! The Katsu was pretty perfect-fried well and tasted delicious. Tonkatsu and Japanese mayo were a perfect condiment to the burger. The curry fries are fantastic! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Local Californians visiting Washington for the first time and we searched the best fast food restaurant in Washington and this was on the list and on our route so we took the chance, and I'm glad we did! This little place isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside is a hard working family that makes great one of a kind food. The Tokyo tower burger was a "big boy burger" with delicious Japanese Mayo and satisfied my fiancés need for a burger. They have a great video running on the TV with promotional videos for their food and it's so impressive! They show how the burgers are made from scratch from quality ingredients and have some funny commercials showing people running to the restaurant for a burger. This place is unique, clean, the family is kind and hardworking, and the food is delicious!

Yelp
I happen to find this spot on the way to The Museum of Flight and so glad I did! Wish we got more food because it was delicious. The place is huge with lots of seating as well as outdoor seating under umbrellas. The menu has a great variety and also offer plant based versions of Katsu. You can pick from many sauces, side dishes and drinks too. We enjoyed all the flavors of the Beef Katsu Burger, Chicken Katsu Burger, Curry Fries abs Nori Fries. I had to get the curry and the Nori mayo sauce to top it all off! You won't be let down. Order anything from the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
The Godzilla attack burger is my favorite item on the menu. It's a huge meal so don't always need fries, but you can't go wrong with any of the sauces. I try a different one each time I enter

Yelp
The thickest, juiciest, fattest, katsu burgers I've had in my life. The burgers you get here are massive, and the katsu is cooked super nicely. The star of the burger was definitely the golden and crispy katsu, but it paired nicely with the thinly sliced cabbage, tomatoes, pickles, red onion, and pickles. The nori fries were delicious and flavorful, and paired really well with the sharpness of the wasabi mayonnaise. My friends and I all ordered different burgers and we all loved it. They use a kiosk to place orders, but I still thought that the service here was really amazing. The girl who served us our food was really kind and energetic. There is also a parking lot and ample space to sit. Highly highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Katsu Burger, ohhhhhh yeahhhhhh! Loved this. Take a hamburger patty, bread it, then deep fry it like a Japanese katsu, put it between two brioche buns, add shredded cabbage, tomato, red onions, and pickles with Japanese mayo and tonkatsu sauce and you have heaven. Oishiii desu you! Sugoku! That's the Tokyo Classic. I also had the Katsu Curry. Natural pork katsu, American cheese, curry mayo, cabbage, tomato, onion, pickle, tonkatsu sauce. Honto ni oishii desu yo! Really good! I took a bite of the hamburger katsu and the pork katsu alone just to test it. They are both legit katsu's. They could stand on their own. Of course, the Japanese do not have a hamburger katsu. But the pork katsu was breaded nicely, a good crunch, and moist and tender inside. A legit katsu. The Tokyo Classic was superb. I loved the textures involved with the crunch of the hamburger katsu and the shredded cabbage. The flavors all worked in tandem. The Katsu Curry was excellent, too. Not too much curry flavor to overwhelm, just enough to add to the flavor. My son-in-law says they have excellent shakes, too, so I'm going to have to try them and other menu items. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Yelp
Service sucks. You literally have a fantastic product but 0 for experience. No one is there to take your order just a stupid computer. Please, for the love of God, have a face, a human being to interact with. More let's figure out how to get a better space. R

Yelp
First off, I wanna let everyone know that I usually don't like burgers because of the bread to fixing ratio. I prefer more meat than bread. I actually ended up really liking this burger spot. The Ohayou Gozaimasu burger was so good and too big for me to eat alone. I was able to eat half of it and call it good! That being said, I'm sure their giant Mt. Fuji burger can feed 4 of me! Nori vs 12 spice fries. 12 spice fries tasted way better. They were more flavorful! Their sesame shake or green tea shake are a must to get here! So delicious! You can also order ahead and order through their website. Oh yes, definitely come here hungry!
google avatar

Riley P.

Yelp
The top three recommended were Godzilla, Tokyo, and Ninja! We grabbed a Godzilla and Ninja which were both gigantic and delicious. Katsu style means fried in bread crumbs which adds that perfect crunch. Another addition that elevates the burger is cabbage! It's the perfect ratio between meat, crunch, and bun. You can change the meat between pork, beef, chicken or tofu. I tried the pork to experience the original and it was delicious. However, next time I want to try the chicken because everyone who changed to it LOVED their meal even more! Favorite sauce of the night was the miso honey as a dipping sauce for the Nori fries. It was unique and tasted homemade. Love! I probably won't come here weekly because it is a new favorite. Heads up: Takeout and Delivery only! We ordered in the front and only waited 10 minutes for a Saturday afternoon!

Yelp
Deeeeellllliiiisshhhh burgers!!! Kind and gracious order taker. Such a surprising find on this little industrial area. The kid got the pork-chicken nuggets and ate them all. Tasted just like my mama used to make. Thank you Katsu Burger!!! Will definitely return!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is amazing and I like the atmosphere inside. The parking is a little scarce but there are plenty of options nearby if you don't mind a little stroll. Definitely check out this place if you are in the area.
google avatar

Jo L.

Yelp
12 spice fries + curry mayo combo was soooooo good Nori fries were also good. Burgers were big. I didn't have one but the rest of the group said they really enjoyed theirs.
google avatar

Charlotte G.

Yelp
Katsu burger is a little unassuming spot that serves a delicious spin on burgers. I got my burger for pickup and ordered the Tokyo classic burger with a side of fries. The burger comes with beef katsu, Japanese mayo, and tonkatsu sauce. I got my fries with a nori seasoning too. I loved the difference that the katsu makes on the burger! It doesn't feel as heavy as a regular beef patty and the flavor is unique and delicious. Katsu Burger also offers plant based options for any vegetarian or vegans looking to enjoy a burger. They have a lot of options for toppings as well. I'm looking forward to coming here again!

Yelp
I ate here once before, maybe a yr. or two ago, and loved it. The guy making the food was very friendly. This time I tried the teriyaki chicken. I ordered it for the pineapple and the bacon. I brought it home to share with my kid because yes, they are large and half of one fills me up. I noticed the bacon was missing and so was the wasabi that I asked for on the side. The pineapple was very small and only noticeable in a few bites. I did call back to ask about the bacon missing and I did not mention the wasabi. He said the teriyaki chicken does not have bacon, only the ninja. I was reading from the menu that it did include bacon. He said it did not and he would try to change it. I went to another menu online and it showed the same thing. So, that was a bit disappointing. My daughter and I did not care for it much. We also ordered the sea salt fries and the Tokyo burger. The fries were cold by the time I got them home, but that is how it goes. I had 6 mn. to drive. The other burger looks great but we are too full to try it. Teriyaki Chicken Natural chicken katsu, bacon, pineapple, wasabi mayo, tonkatsu sauce, complete with cabbage, tomatoes, red onions, and pickles.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing ninja burger(chop sandwich.) Nori fries are outstanding! Ninja Burger is a full meal experience.

Mark U.

Yelp
The burgers are fine, but wait a minute...you order from their tablet menu, saving them the cost of order takers and bussers, and they charge you for the kiosk transaction, AND ask for a 30% tip? Nope.

Joseph W.

Yelp
Good solid burgers I wish I had one close so I could go down the menu and try everything the pork nugget are great

Peng Hui C.

Yelp
They have great burgers and fries. But they always forget to give me the soda of my meal combo.
google avatar

Wendi K.

Yelp
Ordered takeout and ate it 30 minutes after it was picked up so I'm keeping that in mind while writing this. Tried the Teriyaki Chicken Burger ($12.45) and Korroke ($7.25 potato and corn croquettes). Also ordered a couple sides of fries ($4.50 each) which came with 3 different dipping sauces (spicy mayo, wasabi mayo, katsu sauce). The Korroke was crispy and amazing dipped in the katsu side sauce. The sweet corn and the creamy potato filling worked together so well. I found the Teriyaki Chicken Burger itself to be sort of flavor-less - the size was massive which is a good thing. Pineapple rings were nice and juicy, and the burger was piled high with lettuce and lots of mayo on a giant fluffy brioche bun. The fries were thin and crispy and speckled with seasonings.
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
My normal sandwich shop was closed, so i decided to check out Katsu since it was bookmarked on my list to try. Best i can say is that it's fast food quality, but with in-dining prices. For $20, I got a burger, fries, and a milkshake. I'm not super into fast food, so now that I've been here i have no need to come again. The burger was interestingly bland, even though it was stacked high with meat and toppings. I enjoyed the crispness, but the meat was underseasoned and flavorless. The slaw was more like shredded lettuce, but maybe that's what people on the West Coast consider slaw? The fries were simultaneously burned (and tasted that way) and limp/soggy, somehow. I liked that the staff were wearing gloves while handling food, and they are still wearing masks in July. But as people came and went, tables weren't cleaned, so masks seem kind of moot at this point. Overall, it was over-priced, underseasoned, and just not that impressive of an experience. But hey, it may not be my cup of tea, but of you're into fast food you might enjoy it.

Yelp
Just finished my meal from here. As a vegetarian, I ordered the Honey Miso Tofu burger. When I arrived at Katsu Burger, I was a little bummed out to see that the Impossible Burger was listed on the menu, whereas it wasn't listed online (you could sub an Impossible patty, but there wasn't a dedicated burger). I got home and I tried the tofu burger, and WOW. This may be the best veggie burger I have ever eaten in my life. It tasted AMAZING with the honey miso sauce. I also bought some nori french fries, and those were amazing as well. I'm glad I tried the tofu burger instead of the Impossible burger, although I'd like to try that as well. Not only that, but the burger was massive, and I couldn't finish it all at once. I felt like I definitely got my money's worth. So Katsu Burger has both quality *and* quantity going for it. I noticed one reviewer saying that Katsu Burger fried its vegetarian burgers in a different fryer than the meat ones. If that's true, thank you so much, Katsu Burger. It's much appreciated. Katsu Burger is *fantastic*, and I definitely plan on coming back.

Yelp
ya know, i don't think i've had a bad experience yet going to this specific katsu burger. i forgot to take photos of the food but i'm sure there are plenty in the other reviews but i did get the menu. every staff there (that's helped me) are very patient and really nice so don't fret if you have anxiety asking questions about recommendations. the establishment is nice and chill, they have booths and regular tables so i can pick and choose which area you like better if it's not busy inside. no patio seating or anything so it's either inside or take out. if it's one thing to try, i would recommend the godzilla attack. the korroke and the banzai bites are great too! personally, my favorite shake is the kinako and black sesame shake so if you haven't tried, give it a go!

Yelp
Delicious!!! The perfect combo of American burgers/fried food mixed with glorious Asian sauces and flavor.

Yelp
During a recent visit to Seattle, we were in the need of something quick and filling. After watering the construction-ridden streets, we spotted the sign for "burgers" so imagine our surprise when it was not JUST burgers, but Katsu burgers? We were not sure what to expect, but it was lovely. Two of us had the pork katsu burger and one the tofu. I LOVED the pork katsu with the crunchy and fatty striking a great balance. My kiddo was not impressed with the tofu burger. The overall vibe was homey, but with a post-pandemic feeling. You can eat inside, but all orders are bagged to go. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. If we find ourselves in that part of Seattle again, we would def hit it up again.

Yelp
I give this a solid 4! We have come a couple of different times ordering the Tokyo Classic, Ohayougozaimasu Burger, Katsu curry burger, nori fries with spicy mayo, Jones Soda and a vanilla shake. Good flavor, with good textures. The burgers are quite large so sharing fires amongst three of us worked out great!
google avatar

Nicole Z.

Yelp
Walking in, there was no seating. Covid took that away so it's a grab and go situation. I got a Teriyaki Chicken with katsu, pineapple, japanese mayo, teriyaki sauce. Definitely needed more sauce. The bread soaked it up. The curry fries were amazing! Needed more sauce for that too! I even dipped my sandwich in the curry sauce! Pretty good place but I wish seating was available. We end up eating in the car and got sauce all over us lol.

Yelp
My first time at this location. The service was fast and courteous. I had a hard time deciding my order. The staff was very patient and also gave me a great suggestion. Their food was great. I had Ohayo Berger because I wanted to have an egg. Curry French fry was just as expected. They are environmentally conscious. Everything is compostable. I will be back to eat more yummy Berger. Side note. The bathrooms are clean! Parking available.

Yelp
I sought out Katsu Burger during my trip to Seattle in an effort to discover hole in the wall restaurants showcasing the Japanese influence in Seattle. It's the perfect marriage of something as American as a hamburger with the Japanese katsu, or fried meat. I got the Tokyo Classic, which is the fried beef patty with mayo, nori, and tonkatsu sauce. I thought the bun and the toppings all went well together. The patty may have been closer to the side of being overfried, which meant the burger patty is well done and the fried portion is a little past golden brown. But I think overall I really enjoyed the meal. I love also how (and this may be the tourist in me talking) that they have a good selection of Jones sodas. Before this visit I had not had one in maybe a decade and the Berry Lemonade is still as great tasting as I remember it to be. Definitely check this place out.

Yelp
I've never been to a Katsu Burger in WA until now. The only one I've been to was in LA. The fries were bomb. Nice, crispy, and fresh tasting especially with the nori flakes. Order: Katsu Curry Burger sub Chick instead of Pork and nori fries Overall it was a good burger. The taste was not bad, the curry taste was there. It would've been cool to maybe have the chicken a little seasoned. The Katsu kept sliding around which made it messy. I do appreciate how it's wrapped with the paper, however it was a little messy. I do love me some Katsu and I like it as is instead of burger. I would come here again to take someone if they were visiting or never been. Next time I visit, I'll try a milkshake.

Yelp
W My family loves chicken katsu and I was elated to see an entire restaurant dedicated to it. Service is wonderful, very helpful and efficient. Great selection, loved both the katsu and fries. Chicken was much better than the pork which was pretty fatty and not the best quality. Loved fries were great, so is their sauce selection. Prices are kind of high, but you are paying for the novelty and uniqueness of their items. Worth checking out.

Yelp
Yum! Excellent food. The burgers were big, and it was appetizing! I'm glad we went to this location. Apparently, it's the original location. There's a big sign inside that says Katsu Burger too... so perfect photo op! There were three of us that went. We each got different burgers, so I can't speak for whatever my friends chose. However, I tried the Godzilla burger because I love spicy foods, and my, my, my! It's so worth it... especially if you're a jalapeño kind of person! It wasn't SO spicy that it becomes difficult to taste everything else; it was the perfect amount of spicy level for me. I also love the shredded cabbage in the burger. It's truly Japanese that way! I also highly recommend the nori fries with different dipping sauces! We really liked the nori ranch the most. The miso honey mustard is a close second. Will definitely be back and try a different location to see the consistency of this place.

Yelp
Had the ohayo gozaimasu burger and damn that was a good burger. Asked them to put extra Japanese mayo on mine. Wanted to make sure it wasn't dry and then combined with the nori fries with mayo. You can't go wrong. A little difficult to get into the parking lot. Definitely recommend ordering it before you get there. But I will absolutely be back to try out all the other katsu burgers they have. Oh I forgot to mention they offer a discount for Military and first responders. So I'll be supporting them.

Yelp
Enjoyed a Ninja Deluxe and Ohayu Gozaimasu burger with side of fries with nori and curry mayo. Delicious! We asked for the burgers to be cut in half so we could share and they did not disappoint. The Ohayu is a beef katsu burger with egg and bacon and tonkatsu sauce and it's juicy, crunchy, savory, rich, but the pickles in the burger help to cut through the richness so you can savor the next bite. The Ninja is a pork katsu with tonkatsu sauce. Also great, we also dipped that burger in the curry mayo and it reminded of the delicious tonkatsu in Japan. Highly recommend you try one of the different locations.

Yelp
Katsu Burger takes an American classic and puts a Japanese spin on it, as the name implies. It's a pretty well-known place in Seattle with almost cult-like status, and for good reason. I had the Tokyo Classic- their original. It's a handful but it's super good! It's breaded and fried to a perfect golden crisp; lightly lathered with tonkatsu sauce and mayo- plenty of appeal and savory deliciousness. There's a good balance of bun, shredded cabbage, and patty, so it's not falling apart in your hands as you wolf it down. It's a simple formula, but sometimes plain and simple is the way to go. I had the Chicken Teriyaki too and that's also a winner winner chicken dinner. I know breast isn't the most appealing piece of chicken, but they cook it up so that it's still succulent and tender, and that sweet pineapple thrown into the mix just elevates it. These pictures don't do it justice! The location is pretty casual and has the look and feel of a fast food restaurant- it's a burger joint, after all. Georgetown seems to be on the upswing in terms of being a popular place for bars and restaurants, but it still has more down-to-earth and local vibe compared to some other more gentrified/gluten-free Seattle neighborhoods. Due to popular demand, Katsu Burger has branched into Capitol Hill, Bellevue, and Lynnwood, but the original Georgetown location would still seem to be the best bet. Anyways, if you're craving burgers, give this place a go!

Yelp
Got Katsu burger through Uber Eats, and I was not impressed. The burgers were very greasy and heavy without having great flavor. I might try it again in person some day to see if it's better fresh, but definitely won't be ordering delivery again.
