"This patio bar is situated towards the southern end of the jogger-friendly Katy Trail, so you can stop for frosty schooners of cold beer and half-pound cheeseburgers at shaded picnic tables without even unlacing. Or you could just skip the jogging altogether and get straight to the drinking." - kevin gray

"Being the most popular isn’t the same as being the best, but Katy Trail Ice House is too popular to ignore. It’s a well known pit stop for folks walking the trail and beer lovers, who all congregate in the outdoor seating with buckets of suds, burgers, queso and chips, and hot dogs. It’s highly social, so expect to share your table and most likely meet all kinds of new people. There is parking available nearby, but it’s a short walk to get to this spot." - Rachel Pinn
"This spot is one of the places in Dallas. The beer is beer and the frozen margs are always flowing — it’s nothing special, drink-wise. The magic is in the crowd. Folks flock here during and after walks along the trail, or just for a drink. It’s a great place to meet people, bump into folks you already know, and have a Dallas-y time." - Courtney E.
