Katy's Corner Cafe is a cozy, delicious, and welcoming local cafe. The sandwiches we got were top notch - not fancy, but super hearty and hit the spot. Drinks were similarly good, service was kind, and space inside (while tiny) did have a table available for us. For sure recommend a visit!

Google
Yay - Summer hours, open to 5 PM on weekends including Friday. The Sesame Bagel with cream cheese and onions way better than homemade. Quiche with veggies and black beans was immaculate. Accompanied with perfectly balanced coffee for a Sunday afternoon. Do yourself a favor.

Google
Love Katy’s. This is one of the best parts of the neighborhood. I’ve been coming for a little over 4 years now. The service is always warm and friendly. The ingredients are top notch and always taste fresh. Guaranteed cheese pull with every sandwich! I love the little cafe tables outside as well. A walk to Katy’s is essential for a magical sunday.

Google
Enjoyable breakfast! Slightly on the pricier side! Definitely go with time to wait for a table or take to go!! With trying!

Google
Katy's Breakfast bagels are perfect, the coffee was great, the smoothies, not so much. I ordered a peach smoothie and they made it with too much orange juice and there was very little peach flavor. I know they put peaches in it, because I watched, but the amount of OJ surprised me. I would recommend Katy's to anyone not looking for a smoothie.

I am so glad I walked into Katys last week, I got to meet the owner and it was some of the best coffee I've had in Seattle in the past decade. The line was super long, and the wait was awhile for my sandwich and mocha, but as soon as I saw someone come in to help out the one barista and one cook, I went up to say something. The person I spoke to ended up being Katy, the owner, and she is super sweet and genuine-She was very understanding and didn't hesitate to accommodate me. I told them I'd be back and I plan to go there again this weekend. The atmosphere is wonderful as well, lots of cute doggos and cute people 🩷 Also, don't sleep on the day old pastries, they taste fresh and delicious!! Only $1.10 + tax

Google
Walked In, thought the space looked cute, they were really busy. I work in the industry and gave them the take your time but they were definitely in the weeds. Good luck sorry I’ll try again some other time

Google

Yelp
Sometimes you win the cookie lottery. Today was that day!! We walked in here to grab breakfast bagels and they just took a batch of lemon white chocolate chip cookies out of the oven that smelled like heaven. Before we could even order our breakfast we grabbed two cookies. They were the most magically delicious cookies I've ever eaten!! But moving on to breakfast. We both ordered the famous breakfast bagel on an everything bagel. It has eggs, ham, melted cheddar and is scrumptious!! Possibly the best bagel breakfast sandwich I've had. I'm got a cold brew coffee and they made me a little simple syrup so it could mix in!! So nice!! My husband also got a cinnamon egg nog latte and is in holiday sipping happiness mode now! I can't say enough about how friendly and amazing the staff and baker were. What an incredible find!!

Yelp
Amazing sandwiches and coffee! The spicy chai is very nice. Order the turkey cranberry sandwich if you can!!!

Yelp
We ordered a breakfast sandwich and a smoothie at Katy's. They don't really have a kitchen, it's more like a coffee house with a small food/snack menu. They offer bagel sandwiches but the bagels are store bought and the bacon/egg isn't made to order. Not a huge deal, just not what I want for an $11 breakfast sandwich. The bagels they use (Blazin' Bagels) are dense and chalky and the smoothie was just okay, it wasn't very creamy. The inside of Katy's has a cute vibe (we loved the wall of mug shots!) but the space is incredibly small, so if you go on a weekend, you'll most likely be sitting or standing shoulder to shoulder with other customers because they only have 3 tables and no separate space to wait for take-out. If anyone is speaking out loud, you're almost certainly going to hear their entire conversation. The service is always lovely, they have very kind & helpful people working behind the counter. I would come back for coffee!

Yelp
Stopped in for a coffee and bagel sandwich. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The drip coffee was really good. I don't say that lightly as most drip coffee is just okay but this was really tasty. The sandwich was good and the ingredients were fresh and delicious.

Yelp
Average overpriced breakfast sandwich. Waited half an hour outside in the freezing cold. Shiver me timbers!

Yelp
Driving by, I came across Katy's corner. Well, it is a hidden jewel. Really good coffee and great sandwiches! We got the breakfast bagel and it was delicious! Just keep in mind there is only one person preparing the sandwiches, so depending on how many orders they have ahead of you, you might end up waiting around 30 minutes. But for us it was worth it. The place is really small so most likely it will have to be a take out order. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed with the coffee nor sandwiches!

Yelp
This place is amazing. Coffee, service, food, vibe... all incredible. Bagel breakfast sandwich was perfect. 100% coming back here.

Magdalene M.

Yelp
This place is a cute and cozy neighborhood joint. I ordered a latte with almond milk, which was disappointing and burnt, but their bagel breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious! Slightly slow service, so don't come here if you're in a hurry. Also, they offer a cash discount. Hoping they can improve their "good" King County food safety rating!

Yelp
Katy is super friendly, and the food is superb. Local shop with a great atmosphere and good food and coffee.

Yelp
Place was super convenient to stop by for food and drinks. Although it seemed like we were the only ones ordering, our food took a while to be prepared. My boyfriend noticed they even got his order wrong, put ham instead of bacon, which was okay because we haven't left yet so he went back and they gladly changed it. But it just seemed like they weren't paying attention. Drinks were sooo good though, highly recommend the chai tea (spicy or vanilla!).

Yelp
I love this spot. Katy is one of the kindest people. She hires good people who are safe to show up as they are. The staff are friendly and caring; not necessarily conventional or impersonal. The smiles are sincere. You might walk into a candid conversation about frustrations about one thing or another or that the pace may not get more hurried just because you walked in. The staff and customers get to know each other and are always welcoming if you want to join in on a conversation. The sandwiches are great. The treats hit the spot. And the canine love is abundant! If you're in a hurry, you'll definitely get helped, but don't be in a hurry.

Yelp
Katy's is a gem of a coffee shop to locals here! I walked in and saw freshly baked chocolate chip cookies which I couldn't resist to get. I had one of those and probably one of the best hemp milk lattes of my life to pair with it. When I like to think of local coffee shop gems, I definitely think of Katy's.

Anna Lee H.

Yelp
Food is so-so in a pinch, I've had the breakfast bagel and a lunch sandwich. The "signature" breakfast bagel is slabs of like warm ham on a bagel that has been burned on the edges but cold everywhere else, a bit of cream cheese, with cheese and a scrambled egg that had shell pieces in it. It's conveniently located, but I prefer Golden Wheat down on Cherry- their breakfast sandwiches are a notch above this and are slightly cheaper at $9 vs $12
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
I live close by to Katy's and had always seen the lines in the morning for people to get their coffee but I wanted to try their food! I ordered the Turkey Cran and it's honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Just a massive amount of sliced Turkey piled with cranberry and pesto on a delicious sliced bread. So simple yet so absolutely delicious. I have ordered it twice now and I'm resisting the urge to order it everyday. Everything tastes so fresh and refreshing and they're so sweet. I will keep coming back!

Yelp
I stopped by for breakfast here because it seems like a favourite neighborhood spot! I was incredibly impressed. This cafe is incredibly welcoming and the staff are extremely friendly. I got the spiced chai! It tastes nothing like a chai but it was absolutely delicious for what it was! I would describe it as a hot spiced milk with foamed milk on top, perfect for a cold fall day! It tastes incredibly homey. I also got the breakfast bagel, it was delicious. And for the price of $9 it was a really big sandwich. The prices at this cafe are super reasonable, for my bagel and drink I payed the same price I would pay for one Bagel sandwich at Westmans!

Yelp
We swung by Katie's Cafe for a takeout coffee. Currently they are offering takeout through their window. We tried the seasonal eggnog latte which was one of the best eggnog lattes I've had in a long time!

Lincoln W.

Yelp
Fun people helping me with my morning coffee and a great breakfast bagel! Thank you for making me feel welcome! And my dog too!
google avatar

Yelp
Weekend morning breakfast is always from Katy's and it's a short walk. Great service, great vibe, and the most amazing bagels.

Yelp
This is a cute little spot right on the corner of union street. When you go to order, you order through a window as their indoor area is closed due to covid. Overall the place follows covid guidelines very well. If you pay with Apple Pay they grab your phone with a clean glove to minimize contact and then discard that glove. I appreciate seeing a place being so conscious and clean especially during summer when a lot of people forget that we're still in a pandemic. I ordered the breakfast bagel. It was not anything special, I definitely could have made the exact thing at home. The ham had an odd taste to it, it didn't taste like ham and actually had no taste at all. I ordered mine with an everything bagel which had fennel seeds in it so it gave it an odd minty flavor. Probably won't be going back, I just did not enjoy the taste. Otherwise the people are kind and they're following covid guidelines well!

Yelp
Food: 4 Order and accuracy: 2 My friend and I ordered takeaway from here last week. They seemed popular and had a steady stream of people taking out... We ordered online through Postmates. The order took twice as long as the time we were given. Also, I ordered a (seemingly) simple Tuna melt, adding tomato and lettuce, and when we returned to our destination to eat, there was not lettuce or tomato on my melt. The melt was very good, just not with my enhanced additions, also which cost me $.50 plus tax, and the fact that I didn't receive my extras. So, as with many other current experiences ordering takeaway these days, a failed order that you don't obviously realize until you open it up to eat, wherever that may be, is not awesome. I guess I will have to just stay away from takeaway from now on, since most places don't seem to get it right anymore.

Yelp
Katy hustles like hell in this cafe - she's super busy making food and drinks for everyone. Good place for basic breakfast if you're in the area.

Victoria B.

Yelp
This place was good nothing fancy just a good solid reasonably priced turkey cranberry sandwich. The staff was nice too

Kiersten O.

Yelp
I love everything about Katy's AND Katy! Always friendly service, great lattes, and a great local business to support :) the fresh baked goods are always delicious! She's done a great job

Yelp
Amazing service, super pet and kid friendly, free WiFi and amazing vibes. Loved their cucumber with hummus! First time in Seattle and this is such an amazing way to see the neighborhood! :)

Yelp
Just a quick little review to give this little spot the credit it deserves. I stopped by this morning for a quick Chai & breakfast bagel sandwich -- I love how homey the cafe feels, the friendly atmosphere, and the art. The baristas were both very friendly and welcoming, their Vanilla Chai is heavenly, and their breakfast bagel was delicious as well. Overall, the vibe is just good here, and I look forward to coming back. :-)

Andrew M.

Yelp
They water down the cold brew, paid $6 after tip for a 16 oz and didn't get me caffeinated... won't be coming back and don't recommend
google avatar

Joseph A.

Yelp
This rating is just a reflection of poor signage. I was scolded for not having a mask. I was trying to be polite and waiting outside I thought they would be able to charge me outside for my drinks. This ended up being the instruction. I'm not an anti-masker but this was very rude.

Yelp
As an outsider just stumbling in, this coffee shop had the most decent prices I've ever seen for a drip coffee here in Seattle and the coffee was amazing. I sat and read a book but also listened to how Katy interacted with all the regulars, she was sweet and badass and joking in all the right places and I think I fell in love with everything she embodies. On a side note, the breakfast sandwiches she makes (I saw her make a few) looked enormous and I definitely have to try one out. She handmakes all her pastries (saw her pop cookies in the oven a couple times) and I found out that she handwrites her logo on all the cups- a tiny detail that's touching in every way. It's clear that Katy cares about her customers (her friends I would call them!) and her coffee. 10/10

Mark W.

Yelp
Good people serving good coffee and tasty sandwiches! Try the everything bagel breakfast sandwich it will satisfy and keep you full for the day!

Yelp
I went to check out a pop-up next door at Magpie and decided to stop in and check out Katy's Corner Café in Seattle's Central District. Standouts - neighborhood anchor, friendly counter and barista staff, and mighty fine iced mocha on this 80F-plus morning. Loved to see that they're also had an iced lemonade stand outside. Just be careful trying to cross the street at 20th and E Union - you can get mowed down because clearly pedestrians don't get the right of way on this 'speedway'.

Yelp
This is a wonderful neighborhood stop. Corner shops are also always more cozy, charming and comfortable, IMO. The gal working that afternoon was very pleasant and laid-back. I got myself a nice vanilla latte and the banana bread with chocolate chips (and walnut?). Great stuff! I had the BB on a plate with fork. It's a bit clunky/messy to eat but no big. The place has a nice feel and air; perhaps the cracked open sliding window helped that out, too. A small thing I didn't like was the bright afternoon sun shining inside; even more-so when you're next/over to the metal steel-top table. Perhaps she/we just forgot to ask to roll down the blinds... The handwritten cups are very well done, too - icing on the cake! I never judge a place by these extra touches but the rare times they are done, it's really awesome. The only other place that does writings on their cups, that I know of, is Phoenix Cafe downtown. If others exist out there, sweet!

Yelp
3.5 stars is appropriated stopped in here as it was one of the only places in the neighborhood that had breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was solid, nothing spectacular, I got an iced red eye. My sandwich was a ham egg and cheese in an ET bagel. It too was standard. Think small Einstein's bagel quality.
google avatar

Katrina R.

Yelp
I happened upon this place when I was at a work function that didn't serve a vegetarian lunch option. The atmosphere is fun. I liked the artwork they had on display (for sale), and the "mugshots" of local dogs. The server was very nice, and my food was excellent. The 4 stars are simply because it took about 15 minutes for the fellow to make me one sandwich. I was the only customer in the shop until the last 3 minutes or so, so it seemed a bit excessive. So, great place-- unless you're in a hurry. ;)
google avatar

Colene C.

Yelp
Lovely corner cafe with friendly staff, tasty food and great coffee. Even better, they're dog friendly! We saw a few doggies lounging inside and outside, giving this place an even friendlier vibe than it already had. We shared their famous breakfast bagel: egg, cheese, your choice of bagel. It is made to order so you have to be patient but it's worth it.

Madison L.

Yelp
Yesssssss!!!! A cute neighborhood gem of a coffee shop. I've been here twice. First time I got a red tea(?) I think it was. Unreal. It was so good. The use loose leaf and you can tell the difference. Super high quality. The second time I came here I decided to sit and stay for a bit. Con: there is very limited seating and most of it is bar seating, which I'm not a fan of because it kills my back. I got a vanilla chai. THE BEST DRINK MY LIPS HAVE EVER TASTED. I'm a big fan of chai tea and this my friends, is the best one I've ever had. Perfectly rich but not too sweet. Ugh I can't rave about it enough. I wanted to order another. I also got this delicious spinach cheddar muffin. It was fresh, moist, and hit the spot. They have a very good food variety: sandwiches, sweet and savory pastries, nuts, granola bars, etc. Katy's.... you have my heart.
google avatar

Yelp
Super friendly people work here! I used to come here a lot more often but slowed down after COVID. I stopped by today and am glad to hear that they are staying busy! They have super delicious baked goods especially espresso cake. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Great hot sandwiches and breakfast bagels, and delicious lattes! Always friendly staff. I love coming here!

Yelp
I'm on vacation.. It's early.. I'm grumpy. I'm the first one up so why not make the morning coffee run. This was the closest shop with the best reviews, so I made the stumble over. Greeted with a warm welcome and smile, my frown turned upside down. Great java selection to choose from to fit just about everyone's taste buds. This quickly went from a " grab and go" to a " grab and chill". Before I knew it everyone in my party met me there to grab their own cup. Relaxing environment, definitely on my list for great coffee spots in Seattle.
google avatar

Tori G.

Yelp
Just had a bagel sandwich and oat milk latte. Both were great! The bagel sandwich was large and filling - they didn't skimp on the fillings. The latte was strong and tasty. They'll keep me fueled for hours as I tackle some spring cleaning projects!

Sarah R.

Yelp
Katy's Corner is the best! Great portions /prices by Seattle standards. Also, the employees are always so nice. Never change!
google avatar

Simon V.

Yelp
The club was great! Super fast service. The guy who works there is also super cute. Will defiantly go back for my morning coffee.
google avatar

Kristin K.

Yelp
Great local cafe!! Coffee and wonderful and good is good too!! Friendly people who love dogs too!! They allow them inside and have treats

Cherise A.

Yelp
The cookies are delicious and they have treats for your fur friend! If you become a regular then they learn your usual order. The longer I go here the more I enjoy it.
google avatar

Christopher M.

Yelp
I've been doing the plumbing here for about a year now the people on this block our most generous that being said. I got this cookie it was like two dollars for $.25 from this little joint here thinking this better be good and she reassured me ,"oh yeah they are. It a little crumbly is that ok?" I said certainly my partner got a chocolate chip I got a peanut butter and I almost could not give him the half of my peanut butter that I told him I would share because of how delicious it was. OMG we bought 3 more. I'm trying to eat it slow but I can't help myself
google avatar

Jo M.

Yelp
We just walked to the closest place to our Airbnb, & we got some solidly good coffee- but also a big smile & a great attitude. In a city of coffee hipsters, this lady seems to just love making good coffee for peeps. Thanks for breaking the ice on the Seattle Freeze!

Lucy W.

Yelp
Just an awesome spot, really glad they're open right now. I'd walked and driven by a thousand times and wanted to stop in, and seriously - it's well worth it. Lovely people, very tasty fresh-baked goods (my banana bread was still warm when I got it this morning!) and even though I usually don't like sweet drinks, their vanilla chai is absolutely incredible. SO, so good. I've also heard their breakfast sandwiches are great, so I'll have to try those soon!
google avatar

Jackson K.

Yelp
Love it! Met Katy this morning and she is extremely friendly! Katy makes all sandwiches and baked goods by hand. She was making some quiche like items while I was there. She also handmade my breakfast sandwiches in don't if me. The process takes a little longer, but is totally worth it. Best breakfast sandwich I've had in a while. We also bought a piece of her blueberry banana bread - super moist and delicious! Go here for a quick bite and some solid coffee!
google avatar

Julia T.

Yelp
This is what I love about neighborhood coffee shops, the staff is friendly, the food is fresh and the coffee isn't overdone. You can grab a latte to go or sit and snack on your breakfast bagel sandwich. If you're a regular, the staff knows your name and your "usual". I had the macchiato (2 shots of espresso and foam), rich and strong. I also got to try the cold brew which I would also recommend. And the breakfast bagel has cheese and cream cheese (along with egg and ham or whatever meat you want)... YASSS!
google avatar

Teresita C.

Yelp
A lovely neighborhood gem, you might miss it if you blink, but don't blink because it's worth a stop. Stellar service and delicious coffees, haven't had the pleasure of eating here, but I am going to next time I'm here.
