Highly recommended sushi spot in the heart ot Charlotte Street. Generous portions and great chef's specials on the menu (unagi roll with grilled eel was our favourite and must to try). Paired with good selection of wines! Lovely staff and quiet environment with dimmed lights created a very peaceful & enjoyable atmoshpere.

It is hard come by a good Japanese restaurant in London, and when you do, you definitely want to bookmark it. This is what Kazu is, authentic with amazing sushi, sashimi and rolls alongside other cooked preparations like their famous cod. I came by Kazu by accident, strolling down Charlotte street in the Fitzrovia neighbourhood and could not be any happier that I did. I had lunch and went down the rolls and chirashi (selection of various sashimi on a bed of sushi rise) route, and was not disappointed. The fish was very fresh, incredibly tasty and well proportioned. The meal would not have been complete without a decent sake, which is available by the glass, carafe or bottle. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed the dinning experience in a elegant and simple setting. Kazu is on the pricey side, but you know why in particular when you have the fatty tuna, a pure delight. Definitely going back to try some of the other recommended items in the menu, and for sure this is a place where I will return to

Hidden gem in Fitzrovia, went past this place a few times and finally decided to try - and we are not disappointed. On the paper, it’s on a pricier side but it’s honestly worth every penny. We both got a set lunch and every course was done to perfection. The tempura particularly was impressive, fried at order, not too much dough, generous portion, light and crispy. Service was attentive, atmosphere was simply quaint and relaxing. Will definitely return, one of the best Japanese boutique restaurants in London!

We had a lovely family dinner at Kazu today. The best Japanese food in the area. Better than Roka. Food was amazing!! You must try Age Dashi Dofu, Yakiton, black cod. We also had soft shell crab, spice Californian roll. Service was amazing. Memorable evening.

We absolutely loved this restaurant. We ended up going both days we were in London. We were supposed to try several restaurants and more places but the quality and atmosphere were immaculate. I think about it even a year later. It is the best food I have ever had in my life. Worth all 500 pound

We’ve been to this restaurant many times. Never disappointed. Every dish we had was fantastic. The sushi/sashimi was super fresh, the soft shelled crab and tempura were light and not oily. Everything was perfect!

Kazu Sushi on Charlotte Street is fantastic. The food is excellent, with really fresh fish Everything tastes clean, well made, and high quality. The staff are lovely and make the place feel relaxed and welcoming. It’s easily one of the best sushi spots in London, especially for the price. Great quality without being expensive, which is rare. A real go to.

What an absolute pleasure this place was I was greeted immediately by staff, seated and order placed within minutes. Everyone was very kind and attentive. The food was absolutely great and would highly recommend you give it a try! Their lunch specials are great value and fish quality was very good!

I may have ordered wrong but the eel roll was mediocre at best. Service was fine and had a surprisingly good eggplant broiled. In all, wouldn't go out of my way. Seemed like more expensive than it should be given the quality.

Had lunch with my husband and son. Absolutely delicious sushi and sashimi. Fabulous service. Attentive but not over the top. The set lunch is a pretty good deal although with a teenage boy who is constantly hungry we had to supplement a bit.

Food and service were amazing. The restaurant played gentle jazz and had dim lighting, which added to the ambiance. I highly recommend the octopus and yellowtail sashimis, both were phenomenal. The Charlotte roll was exquisite, unlike anything I had ever tried before, and I consider myself somewhat of a sushi connoisseur. The food came out promptly and was presented beautifully. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Absolutely incredible quality of fish at this restaurant. I've been to sushi places all around the world and this place definitely made it to the top 50. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting London or living there if they want sushi. Dishes I would recommend include their fatty tuna nigiri and their scallop nigiri. To be fair I've only just tried this place once but I don't imagine that their fish quality can vary so much. Thank you to the waitresses and amazing chefs. Looking forward to another visit in a few months!
