Went here in september with my wife and baby son. To say the least, it was incredible. Favorite restaurant/food/drink experience Ive had in all of Canada. Cornish Hen was possibly the best poultry Ive ever eaten. Steak frites also some of the best Ive ever had. The filet was tender and as flavorful as a more marbled type of cut, which was unbelievable. The rye, mint, chartreuse cocktail also, I kid you not, was one of the best cocktails Ive ever had. I know, this all sounds unbelievable BUT believe it!! The service was top notch as well, we had a gentleman with a mustache and glasses as our server and he basically recommended everything we ended up ordering. Atmosphere felt lively and homey at the same time. Thank you again. This place was 11/10. Believe it!

Stopped in without a reservation on a Saturday and grabbed a seat at the bar. Staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. Ordered the octopus off the regular menu and the baked scallops on special. Was all perfectly cooked and the meal was paced well for a solo guest. Would definitely recommend and will visit again on my next trip to Montreal

Our family of 4 was looking for a high quality establishment without being “fancy”. This place was perfect. Food was spot on. Service was excellent. Every person working the front of the house visited our table at least once to take orders, deliver food, clean table, etc. Highly recommend.

It’s a low key restaurant with live performance when we were there. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was great. We had the rigatoni special, chicken with verde sauce, side Caesar side and grill shrimp appetizer. My friend said the shrimp was the best he ever had. The side salad was delicious and the portion was huge. The rigatoni and the chicken were both great.

Celery root and St. Louis Ribs in appetizers are the best. I asked how were the ribs cooked to perfection , and the waitor said by sous vide.

Visited here tonight whilst on a short trip to Montreal and we were blown away by how good the food was. We had scallops and the peri bread to start which were superb. We both had the steak for mains. The steak was cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious. The service was so friendly and welcoming. We had 2 limoncello shots to end which were also delicious. Definitely deserved 5 ⭐️ review from us. Thank you!

First time but definitely not the last! The restaurant has a Joe Beef vibe and the service as well as the food goes with it. Very friendly staff. We had octopus, salmon tartare and oysters at 1$. We had a blast! And the best, chocolate mousse maison, served from the bucket, with fleur de sel on the top... divine! The portions were generous. I asked and it seems the chef worked at Beba, one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. It soeaks for itself. The room is large enough for griyos but try to book in advance in that case. In the Summer there's outdoor seating in Atateken street. Will be back for sure!

We had the pleasure to dine in the magical place yesterday and everything was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We are definitely coming back to this restaurant when we visit Montreal again.

This has to be my new favourite restaurant in all of Montreal! Not only do they have delicious food, but they also have $1 oysters on Tuesdays! The service is great - highly recommend booking just in case for Tuesdays especially because of the deal for oysters. It's often bustling with a lot of people. Ambiance is great, nice and chill atmosphere. My go to dishes definitely include the octopus (perfectly cooked!), the celeriac dish (it's very unique in the best way possible!) and the steak. But so far everything I've eaten at this restaurant has been phenomenal.

Best meal I've had in years. If you told me last week said best meal would involve a flatbread and some croquettes I would have laughed. But this is serious food. The depth of flavor, the nuance, complex sauces on simple but perfected food. Welcoming ambience, service was above and beyond, friendly and attentive -- despite being almost hilariously understaffed that evening. I went there once, and now I miss it. The experience was that good.

Our favourite local restaurant in Montreal!! Staff are incredible, kitchen is always on point and the tables are well-spaced. Beautiful, artisanal wood-fired flatbreads; handsome, fully-stocked cocktail bar w/expert mixology for solo travelers; absolute first-rate experience. All the food is fantastic, esp. burrata broccolini; celery root carpaccio--specials are always delish. For meat eaters & veggies alike.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in montreal! (Maybe the world!!!) I had the burrata salad which I will now dream about forever. I also tried the celery heart and it is truly a melange of love in my mouth. I wish I took more pics but I loved this spot more than fat kids love cake and devoured it before taking pics.

Discovered this little place in the Village recently and wow..we were impressed. Chef is ex-Lucille's and you can tell that they know what they're doing. We had the fennel salad with grated cheese. As the waitress described it.. it's the weirdest thing but in the best way. I couldn't agree more. It was such an explosion of delicate flavours... this is the type of dish you think about for days after. 5/5 We also shared the shrimp. Very good. Fresh. Sell balanced. 4/5 because I can't remember exactly what was special about it. But it was good. Lastly, we had the burger. That was one of the best burgers I've had, all elements were just perfect. A gourmet burger for sure. 5/5. Will definitely be going back so that I can taste the shrimp again and update my review :)

Tartare is good but don't forget to order their breads. Simply amazing. Babagogoosh

Fantastic tapa style dish. Can't miss on the bone in lamb chops and cabbage carpacio. A gem in Montreal and will definitely come back again.

Great place! Great food! Great ambiance and the vibe is fun and lively. The staff are very personable and so friendly. They made me and all my friends feel welcomed and belonged. Tonight is my second night (in a row) here at Keela and I had the roasted fish both nights. It's that good. Strongly recommend this place! Will come back again for sure!

Really great spot- incredible cocktails and the food was excellent. the celeriac root is a must, also had the octopus and beef tartare and they were both great as well. my reservation didn't go through online so they had no record of it but they made room for us anyhow, really friendly wait staff, good ~vibe~, great food and really reasonable prices.

Wonderful dinner and fantastic atmosphere it is a favourite of locals and the food was great!!

The food was a notch better than what is generally available in The Village, though a shade pricey ($25 for two small tentacles in the grilled octopus appetizer, for example). Some of the dishes I and my friends ordered seemed to be missing an adequate side of vegetables (I had the Cornish hen, which would have benefited a side of green vegetables or carrots to round it out). But the main issue, the reason I will not return was the noise level. It should be clear to anyone who works there that diners are hoping to converse with friends or romantic partners, NOT to shout over loud club music or, worse, a live musician who seems to believe they're in a concert hall. The night I was there, the singer/guitarist refused to notice that he was too loud and that diners were leaning over their tables to hear each other. And any table of four or more people was forced to break into conversational pairs. Why DO restaurants play music so loud when conversation is the among the top-two reasons their customers are there (the other is good food).

Best food ever ! The best food I have ever tested in Canada . The salmon tartare was really tasty, the ribs were amazing and the octopus was supreme. We had two round of the litte pizza with Buffalo mozzarella and arugula that was a real gem. The atmosphere is very homie. They take care of the details and I loved the old stile ceramic which reminded me home and my "nonna" cousine. The staff and the chef are super friendly and welcome . The prices are fair and they do have vegetarian options that are really tasty as well. The chocolate mousse was perfect to finish such an amazing dinner. Folks "life it to short for eat and drink bed " you must go to Keela you won't be disappointed! Ciao !

Love this place! Food is simply delicious and the vibes are cozy and fun. The live music on Fridays definitely adds a cool dinner setting. You must try the celery root carpaccio you'll thank me later.
