"Keg South is a dark dive bar in Pinecrest with dollar bills stapled to the walls, sports playing on TVs, and grilled wings in their simplest form. These wings are served naked, with nothing but char marks and ranch or blue cheese. And they prove that a perfectly grilled wing doesn’t really need anything else. Each bite is like getting gently slapped with a smoking piece of charcoal (in the best way possible). These are the wings every parent manning a backyard grill aspires to make." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

"Keg South is a fine place to have a beer and watch sports, but they also make some of the best wings in Miami. If you’re coming here and not getting those with a side of blue cheese, you’re doing an injustice to Keg South." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

"Ask any Miamian raised in South Dade County where their favorite burger is, and they will almost immediately answer: Keg South. While it may only have a handful of seats, an entrance only accessible through a back alleyway, and no signage, it has built a reputation for itself for serving one of the best burgers in town. The secret? The bar’s grill has been around since the 1960s, cooking up perfectly charred and simply topped burgers." - Juliana Accioly, Olee Fowler

Google
Keg South in Pinecrest is hands down one of my favorite spots to catch a game and grab some amazing wings. The place has that laid-back, neighborhood bar feel that makes you want to stay for hours. The wings here are next-level—crispy, flavorful, and always cooked perfectly. Plus, there’s a great beer selection and plenty of TVs so you don’t miss a second of the action. Whether you’re catching a game with friends or just want some killer wings, Keg South is the place to go.

Google
All I will say is the wings , the fries , and the burger is a must try . You will not be disappointed believe me the wing taste like no other place , the burger can’t explain it and the fries just hit different don’t take my word go and give them a try

Google
Excellent service and the food is absolutely amazing ( and I've been to many sports bar grills). This is a little place, a literal hole in the wall. Absolutely packed on Saturdays and sundays, but you don't have to worry about waiting, the staff is highly attentive to your needs. They even have an outdoor seating area, that very few people know about. So inquire about it, if it's a nice night or day and you want to sit outside! The beer is especially cold, since they bought a new Chiller a couple months ago. They are known for their chicken wings, hands down the best. It even beats Sports Bar grill in Kendall. I also see families here, not too often, but it's nice to see families hear with with their children. They have a huge pool table, and many people come here to play pool, and they also the Jukebox that you can pay to play what music you want to hear. Overall, the atmosphere is very friendly, it's in a very good and safe location, the food is great, the drinks are great, five stars all the way 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Google
Oh yeah!!! Forget the fancy burgers joints!!! Keg South knows how to do it right!! Jamie did an amazing job. Making my Keg Burger, mideum rare, just like I asked! Nailed it. The fries are hand cut, per order, then perfectly golden and served hot!! Carter was great. Made sure to take my order quickly and served me a wonderfully cold beer. And even with the places hopping, he managed to give me personal service. I never had to ask for anything twice!! Great job guys. Keg South has never disappointed me. I'm just sorry I don't get to visit often. I'm glad I was in the neighborhood today and had a chance to stop by!

Google
Five-star dive bar. Went in for a late lunch and a few beers with friends. Fun, laid-back place with good eats and a pool table. They also have a little patio area in the back with benches and tables. The service was great and the wings are worth it. If you're on the fence about anything, ask the staff, they're happy to help with recommendations. Try the poppers!

Google
Picked up my order of 10 wings (and that’s it) didn’t give me the total over the phone, but I was dumbfounded at the $20 price tag. I don’t care how good the wings are, that is a complete rip off. Pretty sure that’s how much the Homestead location charges for 20 wings. Never again.

Google
Keg South is a hidden treasure for those who live in Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay area. The menu is about 12 items deep but you can't go wrong with anything. Wings are off the charts, burgers are Juicy and tasty, fries are cut fresh, and everything is char-grilled to perfection. Prepare to wait if you go during Happy Hours and game nights. Locals are lively and loud. Welcome to Miamj.

Google
This place is hidden, you really have to know where you're going, but I recommend you take that time to get there. Their original wings are some of the best wings I've ever had. I don't even know how to describe the sauce to do it justice. Also grilling them really enhances the flavor. On top of this the staff was really friendly. The locals too. I'll be coming back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I only been here once before but my boyfriend surprised me with lunch today. It was so delicious. I had the backyard bbq chicken sandwich with potato chips and he ordered a 10 piece chicken wings with French fries. The service was pretty good considering it wasn't busy. The ambiance was fine for a sports bar atmosphere. I told him the next time we come I will try something new. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the Pincrest area. Two thumbs up

Yelp
The Summary: Parking is hell, and when it's full it gets claustrophobic, but if you're there on slow days or get there early enough, they have very nice wings, the staff is an example of friendliness and the ambiance is very cozy for a sports bar. The Experience: you get there and they literally have 7 regular parking spots and one for the Handicap. on a Thursday or Friday night that means that you have to fight for one of the street spots. Once in, the location is really one of the smallest Keg Souths I've visited, but it makes it up by also being the one with the most efficient and organized staff. Even at its most packed the orders come out in order and it seems like every staff member can update you on the status of yours and give you a good estimate of how long it will take, which is very accurate. The wings are cooked nicely, with the perfect crispiness on the outside and very juicy on the inside... as far as I know they have only one flavor sauce, which is very, very standard, but it's not bad. The burgers look great, I just wish I remembered to order one before ordering the wings, instead of my usual mistake of just sitting to wait for my order to come out and then get my mouth watery watching a burger pass me by to go to the next table (of course it's being carried by a server, burgers here don't walk). They have a small but good variety of beers, and they are served perfectly chilled, though if there are enough of you, then agree on which beer you all like and go for a pitcher. I'd go more often if it weren't for the hassle of the parking.

Maddy B.

Yelp
You will never know this place is here if you didn't seek it out, but it's such an awesome dive bar definitely deserves recognition. When you walk in there's a pool table and dollar bills all over the walls. There's a small bar and TVs everywhere. The kitchen is behind the bar with only one man working it so the food did take a long time but it was worth it. Really fresh bar food , I had a burger that was delicious and cooked perfectly medium. The fries were awesome and the wings were fire. They have a pretty decent beer selection as well and even do pitchers. We played a lot of pool while we waited which pays in quarters. They're also seem to be a backyard garden, but I didn't have a chance to check that out. The service was great and will definitely be back to watch another game!

Katelin K.

Yelp
Loved Keg South. It's the true definition of a dive bar. Freezing cold beer, nice bartenders, and delicious wings. There isn't much more you can ask for.

Karina A.

Yelp
By far best wings in Miami! This hole in the wall bar & restaurant will really surprise you with their fantastic food! My go to order is the special grilled wings & a half order of hand cut fries! You can never go wrong with this order, but if you're craving a burger that's another great option! The best time to stop by is during the week for lunch, you're sure to get a table.

Gary N.

Yelp
I've been going to the Keg for over 20 years. I hope this was a one time deal but last time we went the chicken wings were just OK, but the fries were HORRIBLE. They were brown from what I believe was using old frying oil. Tasted terrible! No quality control. Probably no manager oversight. I hope they read this review and step up their game to what it used to be a great place to eat and drink.

Anna M.

Yelp
I've always been told the wings are good so I was excited to try them finally. They're really juicy and not dry at all. The place is great for games and just hangouts with friends. I will say that as I got towards the end of the wings it was getting really salty but I'm also not a big fan of salty food, that's just my preference. Next time I come I'll be trying the burger because I also hear great things about it. Service: The staff is super nice and attentive even when it's packed for game days.

Joseph T.

Yelp
What an incredible place. Such a low key joint. This place has Classic dive bar feel. I was the 1st one thru the door today. Greeted by Max, she was working the bar, and Jamie, he was working the grill. The beer is ice cold and the food is outrageous. Fresh cut French fries, amazing wings, and burgers that you can write home about. I went with a burger and beers today. Keep up the great job Keg South. I am a HUGE fan.

Kevin S.

Yelp
Dropped in for a pint with my brother. Beer was super cold and crisp! Guy behind the grill didn't even look our way. Basically.... If you are into being around old fat white dudes with camo trump hats, this is the place for you. Place was definitely forgettable.

Bonny C.

Yelp
Service and food sucked. Rather go to the shell right next door. You'd get better service there from the clerks

Gary L.

Yelp
I've been coming here since I was in high school and I'm 38 now still have the best wings Homestead.. So sad to find out they were bought out and going be closing their doors soon. Had some great nights here and unforgettable memories as well.

Zane P.

Yelp
I went to Keg South this weekend on my hunt for the best burgers in Miami. This little hole in the wall feels like a little slice of rural america in Latin dominated Miami. Too be fair they only had one guy on grill and one bartender in a pretty sprawling dive bar(they were very friendly). So I ordered a half pound burger and fries. The fries are fresh cut and well seasoned but the burger was the wrong size and left something to be desired, so the ratios felt off too me. I give keg South a 6.9/10.

Pablo O.

Yelp
Very poor customer service- waited at the table for about 20 minutes unnoticed to be told that the kitchen closes at 10:30... it is 10:42 as I write this lol. Do better. Bad smell.

Barry W.

Yelp
So, have lived in the area for 55 years; never here before. Tonight I scratched it off of my bucket list. Sorry it took so long. A true treasure. Classic. How has Michelin missed it? Delightful. Hamburgers, wings, fries; perfect to the scene. Delicious. You could call it a dive; nah. Sort of a poor man's Cheers bar except of the five cars outside, you had a BMW, a Mercedes, and a Lexus. And Natalie and Carter took good care of us. Oh, although they have a great on tap beer selection, of which I did partake, when I asked for a Coke, I got a REAL FOUNTAIN COKE. Worth the visit alone.

Alexa C.

Yelp
There's something so comforting about an old wooden wrap around bar with a retro flair reminiscent of the old Miami we originally all fell in love with. If you do it right, there's a pitcher of beer and crunchy grilled wings perfectly seasoned and ready to relish all the glory of a tavern in its true form. The service here comes from the heart and you can taste it. The outdoor seating area promotes afternoons of leisure with simple yet well-made dishes with some cold ones to quench your thirst. Some might call it a hole in the wall, but to me it's the main attraction. This is what the true Miami is all about. I'm here for this & I support it.

Eddie S.

Yelp
Awesome service amazing food. Bartenders ( K and Max) very engaging and welcoming had a blast during lunch time...... definitely a spot to check out during lunch in the Kendall / pine crest area

Christina O.

Yelp
Was super hesitant about this place based on its location and parking, but wow so glad we stuck through. This is a dive bar for sure. We were pleasantly surprised by their amazing food. Their wings were great and I think this is the best burger I have had in a while!

Casey S.

Yelp
Went here on a Monday night around 8:00 PM for beer and a burger. Place wasn't too crowded despite a football game being on. Will behind the bar was super friendly, the burger was excellent (definitely get the 1/2-pounder), and the beer was cold. Great neighborhood spot for a casual bite. We accidentally stayed a few minutes past closing time and weren't rushed at all to clear out. Will visit again!

Juan M.

Yelp
Best food in the world those wings and burger are bussing. I love coming here every week the service is awesome I don't even come here to drink just for the food

John S.

Yelp
I never would have found this place had I not been specifically looking for it! To say it's tucked away is even an understatement, as it is not only not visible from the main road on the front, but it's not even visible from the side facing the gas station nor the side facing the adjacent businesses - it is only labeled from the back where the (small) parking lot is! And yet, in spite of that, the burger that I came for was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the divey vibe was cool. Prices are reasonable as well, which is nice. Looking forward to trying more of their beer as well as their wings next time!

Michelle M.

Yelp
Excellent wings and fries. Bar staff is great. But it's kind of a dive, so don't take a date you'd like to impress. :)

Jessica B.

Yelp
I love this place! The food is great, the beers are cold, and the staff is amazing. K and Carter keep the drinks coming and the conversation flowing. Jamie makes the BEST wings!

Luis R.

Yelp
Hidden treasure for fantastic chicken wings and hamburgers. Small selection of IPAs, but good nevertheless.

Becky B.

Yelp
Enjoyed the place . Little old looking but the food was good and the beers (craft ) were nice . The bar service was perfect. Thank you Tyler.

Karen M.

Yelp
Burger was very good and good value for $. Fries were greasy (old oil) , overdone, and arrived after we finished out burgers..... they comped us on the fries. It was a dive, but thats a given; its a place for guys to watch football. Service was extremely slow but in all fairness them were got there just after they opened on a Sunday and cook was way backordered with to go orders. They told us there would be a wait. Good value but dont bother with the fries.

Jorge V.

Yelp
Best location hands down. Best food best vibes. South Florida classic. Great for a game or a simple night out.

Alexandra G.

Yelp
This place is a legitimate hole in the wall. I think the only way to access this restaurant is through the back alley behind the shell. It looks like a blue house! When you see it, that's how you know you are there. What amazed me about this place is that it looks completely out of place in Miami: dark, small, dollar bills hanging out every where. I don't know why I was so taken aback by this. Anyway I sat at the bar and you could see the extend of the kitchen: just a small grill and a fryer. We came on a Sunday night around 9 pm and the place was medium filled. Parking was ok, I was able to find one, but I would imagine on days that it gets packed it would be harder. So since this place is a dive hole in the wall, you get dive/hole in the wall kind of service, which is fine! It is NOT fine dining, but instead a cool spot to hang out. What I really appreciated was their beer selection. Not only did they have the typical Bud, miller, and Yuengling, they also had some of the towns best local breweries on draft, including Veza Sur, the Tank, and Goose Island. Tank's Freedom Tower is one of my favorites, so I ordered that and it cost $5.50, which I believe is cheaper than the price you can get at the actual brewery itself in Doral. The only food I ordered is chicken wings because I would consider myself a chicken wing fanatic. Regardless, their menu is fairly limited. They only have on style that they call special grilled which is kind of like a bbq style spicy. They are NOT buffalo wings, but I can't complain because they were great! If you've ever had Sports Grill's special grilled, they are similar here, but better! I wish I'd gotten the sweet potato fries because someone else ordered them and they looked soooo delicious. Overall, this place is great if you're looking for a casual place away from all the glitz and glam of Miami. Don't miss out on their wings and beer!

Kelli K.

Yelp
Wings are great. Burgers are great. It's easy. Go here for a quick bite, takeout, to see a game, etc. :)

Kathleen B.

Yelp
It's been a while since I had come to have a burger here. Let me say it did not disappoint. The burger was for just right medium rare, yummy. The fires were not that great all though I was warned they were working on wing s. Service was good staff very friendly. Looking for a no frills good food place this is a must!

N D.

Yelp
Dive bar for college kids and cigarette smokers Burger is 3.5/5 But Their chicken wings are 4.75/5 They baste them with butter while they are grilling Overall fun time and good vibe

Ricardo B.

Yelp
If you haven't checked this place out it's a must especially if you enjoy some amazing chicken wings. Food is always delicious and service is great.

Mike H.

Yelp
Another great visit to the Keg today. Sloan was great and the burger and beers were fantastic.

Orlando P.

Yelp
The food is by far the best bar food iv ever had. Chicken wings here are amazing. And they're fries have the best homemade taste to them. The only reason for leaving a 3 star review is due to the bald headed man taking the orders. When our group arrived. We seated ourselves. We were told to order at the bar and once the food was done to come back and pick it up. No big deal. Once we left we paid our bill individually. The bartender yelled out to one of our group members and asked him if his food was good because he tipped terribly. Speaking so loud everyone in the place heard him. He tipped him $4 on a $18 bill. He made it clear to him that he works for tip and that if he were to return to remember it. If your inclined to go because the food is good. Just be aware you'll have this guy barking at you.

Andres J.

Yelp
Great service and great bar food. I've come in close to the kitchen closing, and have been assured that I can put an order of food in.

Phil D.

Yelp
Best chicken wings i have ever had. By far. Great bartenders. I will definitely come back here.

Eduardo G.

Yelp
Went for some beer and wings and to watch a baseball game and chill. The wing are Great the burgers are juicy and cooked perfectly, and the beer is plenty full. It's a hidden gem in Pinecrest definitely a place to go.

Shawn H.

Yelp
Truly embarrassed it took me so long to get here. What a hidden gem. Great burger, wings and fries. Welcoming and friendly bartender and cook. Laid back crowd, small divey atmosphere(refreshing in Miami where everything has to be new and shiny). They don't have a liquor license so spirits aren't available. Parking is very limited but you can always park in the alleyway.

Victoria D.

Yelp
I love coming to the Keg when K is working with Jamie. They make the best team! The food is always amazing and the service even better!

John C.

Yelp
Food is pretty decent. Solid Burger and staff is somewhat friendly. The 3 times I've been here I've noticed that there's a lot of regulars and they get better attention. Bathrooms are pretty clean.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Tried this spot out and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious, wings, fries, burger, you name it. This place gets packed so be patient, there are two men trying to make sure everyone is taken care of. Will definitely be back

Brooks M.

Yelp
If you're looking for a great burger this is your place. Great fries too. Numerous beers on tap. No outside eating.

Douglas J W.

Yelp
Better burgers then any fast food place, they just serve the best burger in the area. Keg South for lunch any day for a burger and chips with a cold brew, you can't lose. Don't know much about the rest of the menu though!

Alexandra A.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. Done with work? Come to keg. Fresh out a wedding? Come to keg. Finished brunch? Come to keg. Whether you're hungry or not, you'll love the wings. Keg South has been there for our family through hurricanes, brutal bike rides, and now pandemics. The staff will be your friend without you asking--walk in and you're part of the family (unless you're an asshole) Here's to good old reliable long live the keg

Katie F.

Yelp
I've been a long time customer of this Keg South which is a hidden gem that can be hard to find tucked away in the back alley behind the Shell gas station on 104th and US1. I love the burgers here that are always made to order and simple but this past visit I came for their to die for wings. Everything about them was perfect-----the cook and flavor on point. I love that they come at 10 or higher which makes them easy to share with friends! I did notice that they were a little different from the past in that they looked a little smaller and don't include the wing part (which I love) but even despite this they were delicious! Also, this is the spot for great beer pitcher specials and is a local community spot with great characters. Go for a good time, maybe some sports, cold beer, and awesome bar food! IG:@KFitzEats

Anthony S.

Yelp
Great place for wings and bar food. Friendly service, cold beer. What's not to like? I had the seasoned grilled wings and they were HUGE. Nice place, good prices. I'll be back.

Odanys V.

Yelp
Keg South is an institution for everyone who flies and works out of Tamiami Airport. First and foremost it is a small, but clean (!) dive bar. I have probably been going on and off to Keg for the last four years and I have never had a bad experience. For the most part everyone who comes here is pretty chill and will leave you alone. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and happy to help you choose something out of their extensive food menu. Everything on the menu is made fresh, and the conch fritters taste just like-if not better than the ones you can get out of the keys. They have their usual beer offerings- but be warned they do not have a hard liquors license, so go ahead and indulge in that beer. The environment is lowkey, they even have a jukebox for you to pick out songs and annoy your friends and play pool. As said in other reviews this is a small place, there is some outdoor seating if you want to smoke and enjoy outside. Be warned that on a busy night parking is nonexistent- but if your in the area you should definitely go ahead and give it a try.

Carolina B.

Yelp
chicken sandwich is delicious! the guys that run the keg keep it a fun and local spot. love coming back here throughout the years!

Carlos V.

Yelp
Best fries and burger Fresh cut and fresh beef. Locals love it K's special tacos on Tuesday are

Claudia A.

Yelp
My favorite wings overall. I come here at least once a week. Service is great and fast. It's a hidden gem in Pinecrest. If you like Flannigans wings, you'll love these wings. Their burger is good too. They have a range of different beers. I love it.
