The 10 Best Restaurants In Atlantic City - Atlantic City - The Infatuation

"There’s almost always ‘90s R&B music playing in Kelsey’s, and that’s only one of the reasons to come to this laid-back comfort food restaurant. The soul food options you’ll find at weekend brunch, like shrimp and grits or chicken and waffles, will revive you after a long night of partying—plus fuel you up to persevere through whatever else Atlantic City throws your way. Kelsey’s is also the type of place that’s filled with energy on a Sunday morning, but low-key enough to bring a date for dinner. Just make sure to reserve ahead of time, as tables can be tough to come by." - anne cruz

15 Best Restaurants in Atlantic City at the Jersey Shore | Eater Philly

"There’s always a line around the corner to get into this AC jazz bar, and for good reason. Besides amazing vocalists and three-piece bands, the menu of soul food favorites, like big plates of catfish nuggets, shrimp and grits, black-eyed peas and more, is so warm and welcoming that you are guaranteed to become family with the tables around you before you finish your Sex at the Seawall drink. The cornbread is a brunch classic, and if you can’t get a reservation, try to grab a seat at the bar or visit sister location Kelsey & Kim’s a few minutes away." - Annemarie Dooling

Atlantic City Bars & Restaurants For When You're Not Trying To Party Party - Atlantic City - The Infatuation

"Whether your evening ended with late-night discussions of how the TikTok algorithm knows you better than your significant other or a sensible 11pm nightcap and face mask, you’ll want to make your way to Kelsey’s for the soul food brunch buffet in the morning. Tap into the party spirit once more and vibe to ‘90s R&B or whatever the DJ is spinning with a mimosa in hand. While some people will be dancing at their tables or in the aisles, you’ll see others feasting on shrimp and grits with the gusto of a kid let loose in a candy shop—we support both journeys. Grab some chicken and waffles and prepare yourself for whatever else Atlantic City throws your way, whether you plan to drive home or stay another night to catch an Earth, Wind & Fire concert." - anne cruz

First time at Kelsey's and it didn't disappoint. I had no idea they had bagpipers coming and they were awesome. I tried to compare the burnt pizza to Newtown Cafe. Kelsey's has a sweeter taste to it. We started with the Crabby fries and Maria Caesar salad with shrimp. Everything was absolutely delicious.

Was here for a funeral dinner today. The staff is polite and helpful. You don't have to wait very long for someone to ask you if you want anything. The food was very good. Their chicken and beef entrees are delicious. Pasta was good. The salad was fresh and the dressing choices were good. the hot vegetables were not over cooked. I would return for another meal.

First time at Kelsey's after being recommended by a friend. Don't let the exterior fool you - it's half restaurant and half bar. We were seated in the bar area and it was super warm (temperature.) I'm always cold and I was comfortable but my guest was sweating. We ordered wings and a side of fries. Everything came out cooked well. I got the red garlic which I assumed would be a tomato based sauce but it was more like a thick vinaigrette with garlic. It was good but not what I expected. The up charged celery was four very small pieces, I'd recommend skipping it. Service was good and the fellow diners were par for the course in NEPA. I would go back for the wings again.

I went for takeout on a late Saturday afternoon (around 5:30 p.m.). I called and was addressed by someone who told me it would be about a 25 minute wait. Upon my arrival, the establishment wasn't crowded. There were a few patrons on the outside deck, which looked clean and inviting. Inside, Kelsey's bar greets you as soon as you walk in, which was also neat and tidy. There is also a dining area. A server immediately addressed me and went to retrieve my order, and returned about 2 minutes later. I paid for my order and walked out. The entire process was very efficient. The pizza was good. The crust was crisp, and the cheese very creamy. What I liked about the meal was the four piece square pie, which conveniently satisfied my appetite. Although nothing really stood out about the pizza, it was still very tasty. Kelsey's would appeal to those who want to enjoy a night out, enjoy some pizza and beer, with what appears to be friendly service.

Nice casual place with good, reasonably priced food, good beer (large variety) and excellent service.

Quaint pub with comforting food. Seafood Haluski was delicious. The silly silly pickle tray was way too rich and creamy but the crust was cooked perfectly and the dill pickles were good.

I ordered catfish. It tasted murky. (If you know, then you know) I was told I could order something else from the menu but I had to pay for it. I didn’t trust the cooking so, I didn’t want anything else. I payed. The manager and server got an attitude and didn’t deserve the tip that was added to our bill. Horrible food and horrible service.
