Kermit's Key Lime Pie Shop - DeLand

20231206 I wanted some keylime pies from FL since I read so much about keyline pies in FL. This is the only keylime pie shop that was on my route. I'm so glad that it was because I had a great shopping experience. Tina was great. She was so helpful and yet left me alone while I shop, which I preferred. Tina answered all my questions, and if she happened to have an open bag of something I asked about, she gave me a sample. I didn't know this is an outlet store, which means discounted prices! 🥳 I got a bag of keyline snaps, a bag of white chocolate chip keyline cookies that has a nice keyline aroma with a mild keyline flavor, 2 boxes of keyline taffy, 1 chocolate covered keyline pie that was amazing!!, a slice of keylime pie and a slice of coconut keyline pie. The outlet prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend stopping here if you are looking for keyline items... sauces, jam, candy, peanuts, cookies, salsa, soap, lipbalm, honey, etc... the keyline peanuts were a bit too salty for me. This shop is so clean, and they even have restrooms for customers. Thanks, Tina!!!

At 4:00 pm on a Friday, I went on line searching for a Key West Key Lime Pie to take to a party the next day, for the hosts, who told me Keylime Pie is their favorite. I was pleasantly surprised to discover Kermit’s Key Lime Shop located in DeLand approximately 45 minutes from my home. Their closing time was 5:00 pm, one hour later. I called and spoke with Tina, who was so kind and helpful. She explained their wide variety of Keylime Products, and told me she would not lock the doors prior to my arrival, even if I ran late. I made it to the shop very close to closing time. Tina did not rush me out and waited on me with patience. I purchased 2 Keylime Pies, and 2 other Keylime products. The Hosts were surprised I actually showed up at their party with authentic Key West Key Lime Pies. Everyone at the party who ate a slice commented on what a great tasting Key Lime pie it was. I will definitely be back for more in the future.

It’s not WHAT you say but the WAY you say it! I live in Key West (the source lol) and had placed an order through the online store in Deland that was headed to my mom in NC. I would just like to take a moment and say that one of their managers, Tina Moore, exemplified QUALITY customer service skills! My original order went MIA ($#!+ happens- FedEx🤪) I digress… I called in the hopes of just receiving a refund. (This was our ‘trial run’ for trying to send an order overnight and I was honestly just DONE when it didn’t arrive!) Tina went above and beyond, exceeding all expectations that I may have had! Her response and handling of what could have been the end of a customer…. somehow magically actually turned me into a customer for life! Not only was my refund handled and credited, BUT unbeknownst to me, she actually went that extra step and had a brand NEW Key Lime Pie at Mom’s door the next morning!!!! ❤️ Who does that!?! Out of the way but definitely worth the trip. Lots of key lime items to choose from and some to taste as well. The chocolate dipped key lime cheesecake is to due for.....rich and so worth every calorie!!!

It was awesome, loved the chocolate dipped slices, went crazy, got a whole pie, cookies, key lime juice and Mango dressing. Can't wait to try them all. Put this on your to go spot for real key lime pie.

We’re so grateful for the incredible service that helped make our dad’s 70th birthday extra special! Diego went above and beyond to ensure we made the FedEx cutoff so our pie would arrive on time, and Tina was wonderfully responsive throughout the entire process. THE place to get your key lime 'fix'. Everything key lime from taffy, cheesecake, pound cake,nuts, crackers, cookies, ice cream, and more. Even have pet items. Staff is wonderful. The more you purchase, the more you save with their offered discounts.

Order to key lime pie to be sent to my friend in Georgia.. For some reason, it appears that it never made it to my friends location. Spoke with tina at their facility and Deland and she was so helpful quickly resolved my issue and is sending another pie out for my friend. Not only are there pies excellent tasting, but their customer service is exceptionally very good. Thank you Tina, for taking care of everything for me. It is greatly appreciated.

If you can't make it to the Florida Keys for the best (as reported by many) key lime pie, their factory is tucked away amongst other small warehouses and factories in DeLand, FL. The cost of the items are cheaper than those sold in the Keys. My husband and I have intended to visit Kermit's sooner, but when we had family coming to town, we thought it would be the perfect place to purchase "Florida" themed gifts....and because I'd been wanting to try chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick. The store front is pretty small and is not a cafe like their location in the Keys. The lone employee that was by present was not very friendly (I felt almost like we were intruding) nor helpful, so my husband and I wandered around trying to figure out what some of the items and sauces were. We decided to buy our family some key lime flavored cooking sauces and key lime flavored peanuts and of course a key lime pie. For ourselves, we bought white chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick. My husband loved the key lime pie, but it was a little too tart for me (and I normally love key lime pie), so I suggest tasting it for yourself and be the tiebreaker!

I have been to Kermit several times and I gave them last year's Christmas gifts. They have so many varieties of candies and nuts and all of them are like Keylime pie specialties flavors. They have mints that are Keylime pie flavored too. That are awesome and of course they have Keylime pies and they have Keylime pie on a stick, it's amazing the amount of products they have here you should love all my family that I gave them to as gifts

The pies are good. Their staff are rude. I will buy next time in Publix if I want anything with lime.

If you want authentic key lime pie this is the place. Their retail shop has many other lime flavored goodies, but you won't find a better key lime pie!

My co-worker and I took a little field trip to Kermit's Key Lime Shoppe. We did come out with a lot of goodies! From sauce for wings to Key Lime Pie covered in dark chocolate on a stick! For a small shop in DeLand, this place had a lot of products to offer. They had dog treats, soap, lip balm, dressing (I personally would love to see more salad dressing choices), cookies, candies and so much more. The number one thing you shouldn't leave without is some key lime pie! They sell slices, whole pies, slices on a stick covered with chocolate, and strawberry key lime! They offer a store discount, which is very nice! If you like key lime, I highly recommend you visit this place!

Very good, nice tart flavor. A slice is $4.40 which seems high to me given the size. Beats the cost of a trip to Key West though!

My Grandma and Grandpa took me here while we were visiting them in DeLand, and I'm just sad I didn't know about this before. I was saying I needed to bring back some things to people at work when I go back home. Goodness, there are so many Key Lime items to buy here and everything is just so good. They have samples of nearly everything, and if they don't you can ask them and they might just make you a sample. The Key Lime Cookies are to die for! I couldn't help myself but I bought about 5 boxes, the cookie tins are so cute and such great souvenirs! The true winner is the Key Lime Pies. We got some single slices and they are totally worth it. I don't even like Key Lime! But the Strawberry Key Lime Pie will have me dreaming of it until I come back. Best part is there is always a 20% discount is what I'm told! Pays to go to the source! The staff is so friendly and helpful! She had all sorts of samples to offer us and was so sweet. We really enjoyed our visit here! We will be back for sure every year we come and visit. If this is what Key West is about then I have to go to Key West for sure!

Stopped by to pick up several pies since we were in town for a few days. Got 2 traditional pies and a coconut; wanted to try the strawberry, but maybe next time. They had the pies frozen, but let it defrost for a few hours and its good to go. The pies were so good! The filling were tart and sweet and even the crust still had a crunch after freezing/refrigerating. I loved the coconut version which was filled with coconut and key lime, definitely my favorite.

This is where key lime pie dreams come true! This is the place to go, and can you believe it's in Deland. I never knew about Deland until the Stetson Mansion came under my radar. I visited there for their Xmas tour, and this place was in their emails. I had to stop by and sad to say they closed on Saturday at 3 pm right after I finished my tour. I came back today and was so excited. Enjoyed my favorite chocolate covered key lime pie which I first enjoyed when I was in Key West. I bought a few for more for my hubby and father. We also picked up key lime pie cookies and strawberry key lime pie. They have cookies, jellies, peanuts, lotions, sauces, gift baskets and other items as well. You can also go on their site and order online. So happy I could go into their shop and think of Key West fun times and have their yummy key lime goodness! Ahh Florida yummies!

I selected a 3 because the pies are perfect, delicious, and the best key lime pie we've ever had - a 5 star! But, there's a but, I found today that the service is anything but friendly and I'm giving that a 1 - so 3 it is. I'm not asking for grand service, but maybe a nice customer service, small smile - something? The person checking me out said maybe three words, looked ticked, and tossed my receipt into the bag with a flick while my hand was directly over the bag obviously out to receive it - it was rude. She walked away, I grabbed my bag without a word and left. My husband knew exactly who I was referring to for he's picked up pies before and said don't expect a smile or friendly service. Great pies though!

Amazing Key Lime Pie! A little shop that seemed to be in the middle of no where that is a total gem. A must if you love Key lime. They have fabulous chocolate covered Pie on a stick and out of this world gluten free Key lime pie. The Key Lime flavor is on the strong side but definitely not overbearing. Simply delicious! Very nice people to add to it.

I purchased a pie for Thanksgiving. Everyone loved it and said it was the best key lime pie they had ever tasted. The key lime fudge was outstanding as well.

We had our first taste of Kermit's while in Key West and fell in love. Then I found out that they have a production and shipping facility in Deland, which also serves as a retail outlet. It's great to be able to get our favorite key lime items a little closer to home (Orlando). We like the traditional key lime pie (which holds up really well in the freezer by the way). I prefer the key lime white chocolate chip cookies, while my boyfriend prefers the key lime coolers. They offer samples all around the store, so you can try before you buy. It can be a bit tedious to get to Kermit's from I-4, especially when there's a lot of traffic, but at least it's still closer than driving all the way to Key West. We enjoy being able to bring home a reminder of our fun vacations in Key West.

I stopped here- the outlet store- to get a chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick. I couldn't get the one I ate in Key West out of my mind. This is cool store with a ton of products. We were the only customers there. Tip-- you will save 20% off the prices from their downtown Deland store if you come to the outlet store.

If you love key lime then I truly encourage you to come here and get the strawberry key lime pie covered in white chocolate on a stick. Gluten free cookies as well.

Their key lime juice is the real deal. I always pick up a couple of bottles whenever I'm in Deland.
