"It may be located within the swish surroundings of the Corinthia hotel rather than the cosy confines of a Buckinghamshire pub, but this city centre spot still bears all the hallmarks of Chef Tom Kerridge. That means British dishes using the best British ingredients, from a selection of premium steaks to playful dishes like salt cod Scotch egg with chorizo and red pepper sauce. In contrast to the more modern hotel, the vast dining room has stateliness, grandeur and old-school glamour to spare." - Michelin Inspector

The Best Places To Eat Lobster In London - London - The Infatuation

"If you’re reading this guide because you sort of want to eat lobster but mostly want to impress someone, then we’d like to introduce you to Kerridge’s. Although this incredibly boujie and incredibly expensive restaurant inside the Corinthia Hotel doesn’t do a whole lobster situation (our credit card is thankful), one of their signature dishes is the grilled ‘lobster thermidor’ omelette. An extremely decadent number packed full of lobster in a super rich sauce, this small dish will set you back an oh-so casual 35 quid but it’s worth it if you’re honestly not that into the texture of lobster yet still want to get involved in some serious luxury." - heidi lauth beasley

Eleven Restaurants To Go To When You’re Not Paying - London - The Infatuation

"In the middle of this restaurant is a statue of a gold suit. Some might call this art, but we call it aspiration. Kerridge’s Bar And Grill is a very expensive restaurant inside a very expensive hotel, and it’s the kind of place where you can eat excellent takes on British classics and potentially see someone famous. Don’t miss the lobster thermidor omelette starter. Or the chips. Or the banana souffle with spiced rum sauce. Actually, get all three. You’re not paying, remember?" - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing

London’s Best Restaurants For A Meal With Your Grandparents - London - The Infatuation

"Harry Redknapp is a 70-something former football manager who also won I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Harry Redknapp refers to food as ‘grub’. Harry Redknapp reads a menu by holding it high, leaning back, and squinting. Harry Redknapp rubs his hands together when food is put in front of him. Harry Redknapp is the essence of a grandad. Harry Redknapp is the kind of guy who would go to Kerridge’s, a hotel restaurant near Embankment. He’s the kind of guy would spend big money on beautified British classics: fish and chips, pie, chocolate pud. Why? Because Harry Redknapp knows how to treat himself, and that’s how you should treat your grandparents. (N.B. Yes, we once saw Harry Redknapp at Kerridge’s.)" - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing

Where To Go With A Picky Friend - London - The Infatuation

"Nobody, absolutely nobody, wants to spend their birthday showing a waiter a Powerpoint presentation entitled ‘things I don’t want on my plate’. When a picky eater needs a special occasion restaurant, Kerridge’s is always a good shout. This place serves British classics in a big classy space full of oxblood leather seating and a slightly ridiculous statue of a gold suit. Think, treat for your eyes and a treat for your friend who basically wants a nice version of the things they already know they like. And that’s exactly what Kerridge’s is about. Expect some pretty hefty price tags, but the space makes it worth the money for a big shebang." - heidi lauth beasley
